Aliexpress Dream Beauty Wig Review

Hello and welcome back to my channel, if you are recurring viewer, if you're new, welcome to your introduction to marzipan. So I kept debating whether this video is going to be like a Halloween themed, video or like another wig review and then it dawned on me. I don't upload the week of Halloween, actually upload it the week before Halloween and then this video is gon na go up the week after Halloween. So really what I should have done. If I wanted to do a Halloween, video was recorded the week before, but I just did not have any idea what I wanted to film. I couldn't really think of anything which is sad because Halloween is like my favorite holiday out of everything else and I couldn't think of a good video like. I really want to think of something creative that either has never been done or you don't really see. Much of so hopefully I can do that next year. I have a whole year to think of a video idea. So, let's hope that I can think of an interesting video next year and then we can record that, but, as you can tell by the title, this is a wig review. I just wanted to get that out the way because I kept talking about it like for two videos straight. So that's why there's no Halloween style video, but if you're interested in seeing the review for the current wig, I'm wearing I'll leave a link to my previous video. But if you're not or if you already saw that review, then let's get started. So, of course, like I've already said, it's gon na be another wig review and before we jump into the review, I do want to talk about how I review wigs, really quick and if you've seen my videos you're a subscriber you've been binge watched or you just Don'T care about how I agreed you just want to get straight into what the wig looks like I'll leave a timestamp, so you don't have to view this intro, but if you're new and you actually care, I grate wigs on three important categories: that's the wicks construction! The wig security and the wigs realism, the wig, can get a hundred points in each category and if it's perfect, it can get 300 points because three categories: 100: 300. The points are tallied through a grading system, and the system is basically a is like perfect. For a hundred B is like it's okay, but there's like one or two mistakes. 485 C is its average. There are a lot of mistakes, but they can be covered up and worked with for 75 points D. Is it's really bad? But it's not like a total failure for 65 points and then F is a total failure for zero points, because I don't like giving any points to anything that I've you and F so after we add all those points up so after that I mean, after that We add all the points up to see what the wig rate is in the end. So now that you understand let's get started and, as I've already said, I'm getting my phone to get all the details. As I've already said, all of these wigs are from aliexpress they're just from different companies, and this company happens to be dream beauty. Can you see it? So let me get that box. Real close. This is a dream beauty wig, as you can see on the box. It says 100 % human hair. It comes in a box like this, so it has the logo on the top the logo. In the front it has a little QR code on the side. You can't really see it QR code on the side and also has how you can contact them. You can contact them on whatsapp, iMessage and email, and it's also on the other side as well. The same thing is on the other side and then on the back here you have they basically ex tell you how to read it and they say if you rate it, five stars you'll get like a $ 5 refund, but they told me in the messages. If I read it, five stars I'll get five dollars off my next purchase, so it's really bright in here hold on. Let me adjust this lighting and my ceiling fan off, and then I turned my lamp on in the background. I think that is a little better. I'M also going to move my screen, so I'm not like looking off okay better. So after you open the box, you pull the link out. It comes in this bag and then I've already opened the bag and lifted the wig, and I've also brushed it a little bit, but I haven't worn it once, but it'll styled it or anything. So you pull the week out and just like every other week, it comes in this fishnet and also some pay for an inside to hold the shape so other than that. It also comes with two wig caps, probably won't be using these since they're, not like my shape, but it does come with those two-week caps and surprisingly, it does not come with any lashes. So that's very interesting so, like I said it's an ally, I got it off. Aliexpress. The company is free beauty, it is a 13 inches. The lace is 13 inches across from ear to ear, and then it goes back 6 inches which was really important for me, because this week is actually the first week that I've gotten from Aliexpress, that is in a bang, and so I really wanted a deep part. That'S why I got the the 6 instead of the the 13 by 6 inside of the 13 by 4. It'S a lace front, it's supposed to be a hundred and eighty density, and it's also supposed to be 12 inches so with all of those. So, with all of those options like I said, I chose a 13 by 6 lace, front wig. Oh it's at 130 density. I'M sorry, not! 80. 130 density. 12 inches was $ 88 and 19 cents. So was that my total? No, my total is 86 52 plus tax and shipping, and all that and we so we can now get into just doing the review. So let's talk about the security all right when it comes to the wig security I like to talk about the I mean the wigs construction, I'm so sorry, we don't talk about the wigs construction first and we're talking about the wigs construction. I basically like to talk about how it's me, as you can see, just like this wig I'm wearing it has the lace in the back. So if you ever wanted to wear the back up and then you can see that 13-inch lace from ear to ear and then that six inch part going all the way back, which is like, I said very important to me. So whenever I want a style or change the part, I have like a lot of leeway versus a weight like this, where I really don't care how far back the lace goes, because it's bangs so but other than that. I also like to look at how the wefts are sewn into the lace into the wig cap. I'M sorry and as you can see just by the stitching alone, it's sewn in very closely together, and I fact I don't know if I've ever explained this explicitly. But the reason why I like to see the web sewn in together is because, when you're wearing a week, you're not gon na be sitting like this all day. You are going to move your head, so you might move it to the side a little bit. You might be doing some of this. You might be up you down, like you, move your head, a lot whether you're walking talking throughout your everyday life, and so I like to gently, pull the hair like that. Just to see if I can see any wets, because that is how your hair is going to be moving as you're talking as you're walking as you're working you know. So. The last thing you want to do is like gently pull at the hair and then see any Wes, and I am not seeing any, but let's see where the West, where they lace end and the wefts begin. Let'S actually see. No, so if you saw the weight review for this one you you saw that when I pull the hair back a little bit, you can't really. You actually can't really see it when it's like on my head. I think I was pulling it this way in some way. I was pulling it that you could see like where the lace ended and the webs begin, but you don't really. I can't really see it right there. That'S actually pretty good, like they've got this hidden really well and of course the lace looks really good. Look how it looks with my hand in there so like this is nothing and then this is my hand. So it looks like an actual scalp, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to give the wigs construction and a 100 points. I really don't see anything wrong with the way this wig is constructed. We can look at the individual web, see I have to like really dig in there and you can see how they're layered so closely together. I will say personally I do like the cap on this week better than this week, just because this cap is red and it's as red as the hair. So even when I was looking for the website was hard, but you would see that I'm looking for the wefts here. It'S the wig cap is a lot lighter than the actual wig. So you can like really see a difference, but because the webs are sewn so close together, you don't like you can't see it. You could play in your hair all day. You won't see it so. Yes, the wig security is going to get an 8 100 points. Now, let's get into the wigs the wigs construction? Oh my god! What'S wrong with me, the wakes construction got a 100 points. Now, let's get into the wig security, alright, so weak security. The weak security is basically how the week stays on your head, and most waves of this price range is going to come with combs and an adjustable strap. So, as you can see here, you've got a calm on either side. You'Ve got the comb in the back and then you've got that comb right on the top of the head, and usually what I look at is I look at how flexible these are, and these are really flexible. So that's good, which means that they're not gon na. If you use combs, I have noticed the flexi comes on pulling tugging your hair as much as a the stiffer combs do, although I have since I've stopped wearing columns like a long time ago, and then I also like to check how well it's sewn in because Usually, when I get these wigs at least one of the combs is coming out, and it does not look like looks like this week - actually pulled it off. It pulled off a Hail Mary. None of the combs are coming out of the week's, but my main point of focus are these adjustable straps, because I want to make sure that they're strong, not just the strap. I want to make sure the strap is sewn in really well and, as you can see them pulling, and it does look like it's sewn in there pretty well, it didn't pull and tug or anything, even the part where it's kind of scrunches up here. I actually never talked about that, but when you pull it and that wig scrunches up and then you adjust it, that even seems like it's sewn in really well and then the part that I'm always afraid of the most are these latch hooks, because usually one or Two of them comes broken and I'm always like I don't know. What'S it gon na look like I don't know, what's gon na happen, when I like try to pull and tug at it, it seems like so let me get in close. It seems like this is sewn in pretty. Well, though, honestly like so I don't know it. Does look especially this first one, it's not sewn in all the way at the bottom. Look at that like it's, not if it would don't focus there. You go that first, one right there isn't this! The stitching doesn't go all the way to the bottom, so that I'm kind of concerned about the rest of them seem like they go all the way to the bottom, though so then you can see like a little bit of threading problems right there. That would go into the wigs construction, but I don't see a problem with that because it is like the lace part. So you know you cut it and you should be fine, but anyway onto the wigs security, I'm going to give it a be 85 points. Simply because I am a little concerned about this first latch hook. I do think after the where's it will come off. Maybe if I remember I'll come back in like three to six months and I'll, let you know like in the comment section if it stayed on, but because that isn't sown the best and I can like actually see it. I am gon na ding a point for that, so wake security be 85 points. Now, let's get into the wigs realism. So here the wig is straight on my head with no kind of alterations and it looks really gorgeous really beautiful. I love these curls, I'm hoping that when I style it, I can do something with these curls. I don't want to like straighten the weak, but also these curls are kind of looking really what's the word I'm looking for. They don't look realistic to me. So I do kind of want to play with that. Maybe I'll straighten it and put some flexi rods in it. I don't know like me when I watch it. I do also want to change my part and you just look at this. We got baby hairs. You guys it's like, I don't think I've ever gotten. No, because all my wigs are my bangs. I'Ve never gotten a pre plucked away. So that's interesting, but when I talk about the wigs realism, I like to talk about three subsections, so the hair line, the hair, fibers and then the part, but what I want to do first is let's style this week. I will see if I do anything with the curls for now. I just might leave them, but let's style the way, cut the lace and all that and then we can actually get into the wigs realism. So, first before I even bus up the mannequin and the stand, I'm actually going to cut the lace as close as I want it, because this week is it's not am, it doesn't have bangs, and so I'm really conscious about how I want to cut. Is this Cricut makes my forehead look pretty, so I'm really conscious about how I want how close I want to cut to the hairline. Unlike the wigs and unlike the ways I did before with the bangs, this one is actually going to be showing and don't when you're. If you're ever cutting your lace and you get a wig like this, don't be afraid to like actually cut baby hairs. But I'm going to cut it up until I feel like that's too much lace still yeah. I think that's good! I'M gon na cut it up until here and then I'm just gon na take it around once I put it on that stand. We'Re gon na cut it we're gon na go ahead style, this wig and then we'll rate the waves, realism and then we'll tally up all the scores and that'll be the way review right. So here it is. I tried to do as much as I could. I kind of bumped the curls out just a little bit, not really on this side, as you could see, but a lot on this side, and I really like the way this side looks better than this side. So I may just bump up the curls a little bit more, but let's just get into the last category, the week's realism and then we can in the video. So I am a little bit the point disappointed because I was really looking forward to getting this week and wearing it, but I'm just gon na pull it back a little bit as you can see with the hairline. There'S like this part is like coming up, and I don't know what to do about that, and I really didn't buy this wig to like wear it like till I glue it down or anything. So I mean sure if I was doing that it would have a problem, but the fact that that's kind of peeking up really bothers me and the only thing I could think of to do with that is to like play with the hairline on the actual hair And try to hide that. That'S anything I could think. Also, of course, you could see the lace pretty well up against my skin. It'S like I've got this wig on, like the last hooks, and I still feel like this week. It'S like too big for my head and I don't understand see now you can see it see it's kind of coming up. So if I were ever to wear this, we don't have to like either kind of maybe use the blasting gel to try to lay that down - or I don't know, but it will not lay down at all and there's really nothing I can do about it. I was really trying to get it to lay down so not really feeling the hairline, because of that and everything else, don't like the as you can see like the distinct color from my head to the hair like, like, I don't know, what's wrong with this wig And I'm pretty sure I have it on evenly like there's the ears right there. I just feel like I have a lot of space and my head. Is it's not that big, but I don't really mind like the color of the laser versus the color of my skin, because I could just put on foundation and hide that, but I'm really concerned about that little area I don't know like it - doesn't look really noticeable Right now, but it is pretty noticeable and I did try to change the parting, but it just was not going my way, so I kind of combed it back. At least I think I did like this isn't. Is this the part I made? I'M not. I don't think so. I think this is a little too high for the part of me, but and I'm looking in the mirror right now, just to kind of gauge, then you can see like these little flyaway hair. So are you disappointed with the with the hairline? The part, however, is it's okay. I am gon na have to fix it a little bit, but as far as what I got, it's it's pretty. Okay, like yeah, I'm gon na, have to play with that when I actually there, but I don't mind the part I don't like where it is on my head cuz. It feels like it's like slightly off-center like I would, rather it be either right in the middle or like somewhere like it down here, but it's like slightly off-center, and I don't like that so um. But I can change that. So I'm not gon na ding the wig. For that and like look at this look at all the space like I don't understand what this week is so big on my head like this is absolutely insane, but the wigs hair fibers. They say it's human hair. When i was curling it and straightening it, it seemed like human hair, so i'm just gon na go with them and say it's human hair, and so it has lice body it isn't like shining. It does look very realistic. It feels really soft. As you can see, I could just run my fingers through it. So it's a really hair. Fiber is really pretty weak, but the hairline is throwing me off and I just have to fix this part somehow. So, honestly, I'm going to give the wigs realism a/c 75 points, simply because I don't know what's going on with this hairline it just it just feels like it's way too big like I feel like I have to like tuck it or something just to get it To sit on my head really nicely and I've: never I've never had like this issue with the wig before so I don't know like what to do like. I don't know if I should cut it even more in, like I don't know, I don't know what to do so. That'S totally all these scores, I'm I'm really disappointed cuz. This is the wig. I was like really looking forward to cuz. It'S like such a gorgeous. Wig and but yeah, I know both one side is like more girl than the other, but I wanted to loosen this less than I want to loosen this more than I loosen this just so I could see if I like this or if I should curl it Back up to this, but I actually like the way this looks so I'm gon na do the whole wig like that. But anyway, so in terms of wig construction, we got an a a hundred points: the wigs security. We got be 75 points and then no we got to be 85 points and then the weights realism got a C 75 points. So, let's add all these up after it. Usually I like already have the score in my head and I'll. Have it added up, but this time I didn't so that is a total score of 260 points and 260 points divided by 300 is an 86. So this week gets a B, and I feel here, I'm gon na turn, my Flatiron back on and I'm actually gon na do it. While it's on my head cuz, I feel like I'm misrepresenting the wig, since this side is less curly than this side, but I'm gon na try to fix it but um. I think a B is the perfect score for this wig. Simply because, like I said, if you have a small head, beware cuz - I don't know what's going on with that, but I've never had a wig have that much space and I'm actually gon na take the wig off just so. You can see this like look at this, basically on the last latches and the actual hairline part still isn't like on my head. So I don't know what that's about, and I don't know what I'm going to do about that. But I am going to go ahead and what a great way to end the video right, I'm gon na go ahead and in the video final score was B. I think that's fair and I'm sorry, I'm just really disappointed cuz. I was really looking forward to this week. It'S now I have to, I don't know, figure out what I'm gon na do. So, if you like this video - and you want to see more, you already know what to do.
