If you don't have a canvas blackhead, you don't have to use one, but this i will say: invest take your time, take your money and invest because this is perfect for you guys like to take it to the next level. So let me start plucking and i always start to pluck behind the hairline, because i want to thin it down they're doing a good job, but let me tell you something they could improve the transitional density. Okay and then i'm just gon na tweeze from left to right, don't forget to focus on those ear tabs, because a lot of people forget the ear tabs. I know y'all like the shakespeare, uh baby hairs y'all like the cursive baby hairs. I understand but don't be afraid to tweeze that hairline even down near the ear tabs. Now you see the section we pulled forward, i'm about to pull it back because i still need to tweeze because i'm like, if you don't tweeze, then it looks like a very straight edge across and then that looks clockable. So let me go in and i'm just gon na strategically just start plucking do a tweezing, because i want to break up that straight line. So people you know, have a harder time telling. Oh, that's a wig and we're working with a synthetic wig. So you guys know: okay, i already like how it's looking and i haven't even put the hot comb to it. Okay, there we go so here i'm going to take my paddle brush. If you get a paddle brush that you love a wig company sent this to me, but you guys i've linked one in the description box and i'm about to take this and pull it back. Okay, pull it back because i want to take out all of the hair that i just put into. You know that i just tweezed i'm going to take all of that out. Now. That'S the beginner level because see i didn't tweeze a lot. I didn't overwhelm you. I want you to still feel like you can do this now. If you don't have a lot of time and you don't want to spend all day, tweezing girl go in and hit the back edge because see that's when i'm gon na start talking. Look at that! You know what let me talk to you for a minute and i, like that question. That'S a great question. So one of the reasons why i'm hesitant to suggest razors, um and improper sheers, because you guys, like i said a lot of y'all, are using kitchen scissors to cut your hair. You guys are never gon na use what you have, but if you can get hair shears and i reserve razors for thinning the hair, especially for beginners um, the thing about using a razor in some instances, if you aren't as skilled you're going to begin to have Blunt hairs across your hairline, so that could mean more flyaways, more hair sticking in different directions, because you're not completely pulling the knot from the lace, because what this wig has at the front of it is hand tied knots. And when you use your tweezers, you are going in and plucking that knot from the lace. So it's a clean cut. When you have a razor, you have the chance of either trimming the hair improperly or unevenly so it may still be there. Okay, that's what i i wouldn't suggest a razor. If you feel like you can do it. Let me talk to you. You know these. You know these same concept, you open it up. It'S a razor in here, don't go out and buy a separate razor. Okay. Let me show you you open this up. It'S a razor! You want to try your luck, open this up. Okay, be careful again, be careful! If you have a tweezer, you can go in and finagle and lift it. Okay, because all of these have the capacity to come up. You see what i did there you have this. You have a razor if you have a thinning little thinning comb. You have a razor, so don't go. Spend extra money again, like i said, be very careful girl be careful, but you said: okay pink. I want to trim the baby hairs, but let me tell you it could be uneven, that's my thing: it could be uneven if see, because it's not clean. I still see the knots and that's the thing you may have to go in and rub the lace to completely remove the knot. So it's possible but, like i said now, it's like a little patch. So what i think is it may be uneven or you're gon na have to be very careful about. You know how you do this so pull on a small section of hair that you want to remove. I hope you guys can see i'm pulling on a small section here. You see a super small section of hair and i'm just going to take this razor and open it up but see i can still see the hair and it's short so i have to go in with my fingers still and sort of remove it or scratch. The lace to get it out again, this can be very tricky. So again, if you want to test it, if you have one of these, you have the ability to use a super thin razor to remove the knots. But again it may be a two or three step with a tweezer. You can go directly in girl what's going on. Let me turn this phone on. I'M silent, um! Sorry about that. Tell me what about tweezers is intimidating for you guys like what about it, makes you nervous, i'ma, lift this up and make this longer. I pluck and move pluck and move pluck and move. You know how they say: stick and move duncan move same concept. You don't want to stay in one place too long i like using them. I have a hard time, judging when i've done enough. So if you are tweezing your hairline and you're, like i don't know, if i did enough one like i said when you use the hot comb, this will allow you to see everything that you really did you see what i'm saying, because now i see like this, We'Re in it we're getting better we're getting better. Okay, i'm still not 100 sold, but we're getting better, so use the back edge of the hot comb to really see what you're doing and then i'm going to tweeze a little bit more because i, like a certain look and since i've used the hot comb to Push everything back. If you don't want to that's, why i like to slick it back so again, moving at the top moving down, okay, and if i could give you guys a hint like you want to tweeze in one area and then one finger width below tweeze again, okay, so I'M tweezing here and then one finger width below so you're, not in the same space over plucking move again, you know what i'm saying use the finger with rule, because no one's hairline is 100 full and consistent all throughout there's going to be divots. There'S going to be parts of it that are thinner than others, that's just natural with tweezing, i'm usually nervous about accidentally tearing the lace so great great question: here's the truth! If you are using the older wigs that are a little bit, they don't have the hand tied knots when you got when you have super thick knots you're, you run the risk of pulling it because they're not thinner than not the small hand tied knots. But if you pull too much hair at a time always try to go very little. Okay, now i'm going in okay moving across and i need to get the top too can y'all see that i'm gon na get the top as well just moving across, and sometimes you don't want to over pluck. So that's why i always use the hot comb. I use the back edge to smooth it, and this will let you know where you need to stop over plucking, because then you might see the weft. You see, you see the weft right here. The weft is right here you don't want to over plug, oh okay. So one last time with this hot comb, i'm going to drag this back all over. Do y'all like that, because i like that that works for me woke up from the net and went went right to it. I know that's right, okay, so i'm gon na start using the paddle brush from the bottom and then move it down. Okay, now you guys get to see the true curl pattern once you kind of like start to brush everything out so she's, okay, she's, starting to get like what she needed to get like, because she was stumbling in the beginning. But this wig is too long and my opinion is too long and it's not consistent, but is it beautiful? Would this make a great bob cut it shoulder length, i'm already seeing the vision, so you see we're good. I love the thoroughness of your plucking sips. Thank you so much. I appreciate you now. If you don't have the double prong clips, i need you to stop what you're doing and go get them, because this is what makes a neat install and again, i see it's over 100 people up in here and we got 61 likes. So i like to use the double prong clips to keep everything away so that when i do go in to trim the lace the hair is away from where i'm cutting okay, it makes it easier when you actually install it too yeah tearing the lace. Let me say something: you know what i used to tear the lace the most when i would use my hands to try to pluck, because sometimes you, if you're, if you're, trying to use your fingers to tweeze or thin down your hairline. If you pull like more than three or four hairs, you could tear, you could tear the unit, so we're going to look at this is the after. This is the after. You know this is this is what this will give. Let me try it your way, so i'm going to trim these um i'm going to trim the hairline using some razors, even though i really i don't like that, but i want to see if i can do it - oh be careful. So i'm about to take yes. Yeah y'all, we got a tough crowd tonight, the crowd. Okay. So i'm going to go in and take some hair a few strands. You want to pull it taut, but see i don't i get girl. I wouldn't recommend this, i'm just let you and i'm using i'm using it in front of you, i'm using the razors and i'm trimming the hairline, i'm not sure, i'm a fan because i don't know exactly what hair i'm cutting until i go through and oh yeah. No, you could easily mess up with this because you could tweeze more hair than you think, because, unlike a tweezer, which is very accurate with a razor, you can be cutting hair the full length of the blade, oh girl, yeah. No, i'm saying no on that one, not for me not for me. I would not recommend using a razor. Maybe i might change my mind later, but i'm thinking for a beginner. You will mess up your wig. If you are not careful okay, i pull my section of hair towards the front. I'M going to take my alligator clip and pull everything back. So i don't get confused, pull this taut right and i'm just going to tweeze on this side, tweezing behind the hairline to thin it out, because i, like great transitional density, that that's what looks the most natural to me. It'S been so long since i did that okay, i'm tweezing, and then you can keep the hair forward. I'Ll show you another way. You can keep the hair forward and you can tweeze this way as well, but you have to move real fast like well, not fast. You have to just keep moving okay and you want to tweeze forward and go a little bit behind please for work or a little bit behind. Let me see so y'all want to see me install a wig with no customization girl. I'Ve never done it. You know, since i've got my skills together, so i'm gon na take this paddle brush and i'm gon na just i'ma i'ma help. You know just comb out the hair that i just twist and let me tell you something if you are tweezing - and this is where i tweezed with the razor it's giving now it's giving. No, that one is the razor, is giving no very inconsistent. I do not recommend that great question, but if i was a beginner using a razor blade, i would be scared period now. Okay, let me make sure i'm not missing good evening. Yes, good evening, everyone, so you just tweezed your hairline, you tweezed behind it and as well as on the hairline, because you want a nice natural, more realistic. Look once you do that you go in with this hot comb, which i have linked in the description box. When i tell you i'm in love with this, you got to get one. You know you know for every day, but then one for travel, because this is it right here. So i'm gon na take this and use that back edge to slick the hair down, because that's how you really get to see everything that you just tweezed it'll tell you if you need to do more or if you could just call it a day. Okay, now, where did my tweezer go? Let him go mm-hmm, oh my bad! So don't forget. Tweeze tweeze tweeze break up the hairline at the front. So it's not a straight line. It'S a little bit more awkward tweezing on the left, because girl and don't forget to tweeze those ear, tabs, okay and then please, the top. Okay agreed, hey pink. When you start on the front, do you tweeze in the same areas or you move up and down so once you pull the hair once you start on the front, you want to go up and down. You want to go up and down, but you want to make sure that you are breaking up the hairline. It should not be straight. I want to see you know little divots inward and out where i want to see you know, and so you achieve the more realistic look by tweezing front then move back twist. There then move to the front. So that's how you do it do like a little zigzag. That'S the best way to describe it. Your tweezers should be on front back front back front back. You know all the way across all the way across oops, okay, so it may seem. Like i'm saying, i want stand in one direction but because my movements are so small, i'm i'm really honestly going front to back front to back, but i'm moving across okay. So right here, it's a little thick for me. You know she's a little thick, so i'm gon na okay, i'm gon na tweeze in the areas where it's thick - it's okay, to do that, but don't stay there too long you to look at the area. That'S a little thick tweeze a little bit use your comb. If your regular carbon comb just to move the hair away, so you can see what you're doing always adjust your hairline by using a comb. So you can see what you've actually done, because that's how you avoid over plucking, okay, okay, you know my hair once upon a time she was okay, and this is this - is a synthetic wig. I told the girls the reason why we're getting synthetic lips is because you won't feel bad about your investment and, to be honest with you, you can get um for the value. You can get a great return on your investment. If you stick with me on this, okay, i'm gon na use my double prong clips to keep this hair back and this this is. This is a little pro tip that i'm about to. You know talk to you all about, so i have i've clipped her back. So what sometimes what's not happening hold on sometimes what's not happening? Is you don't always have a balanced hairline, so you have to look at what you're doing and see if it's balanced, do you get? What i'm saying? Let me is she. You know this is a cute wig. I'M not gon na hold you so okay boom. I feel good. What'S the temperature of the hot comb, so this doesn't have like a degree it has like. It goes up in increments of five, so i would be between 15 and 20.. I know it's hard to see, but i'm going to be in between the number 15 and 20 for a synthetic unit. If i was using human, i would be all the way up at 20 because it can withstand it, but you also want to be careful not to make too much contact. You know with the lace using the hot comb, because you can you know this is this. Is material you can burn it um. Now, i'm not a fan of putting product on my synthetic wigs, but this is what i'm gon na talk to you about. We have a few options. This wax stick. I went and bought it and let me tell you something: it was cheaper on amazon than it was in the beauty, supply store and i went to the beauty supply store in the hood says it was cheaper on amazon, so you know what i said. I said jeff bell, he knows what's going on, so this was cheaper on amazon than at the beauty supply store. You use the base of it to push it up. I need to get one of those hot columns, because mine only has one and off oh girl. We we graduating regret. Reading now. Caracara is great for human wigs. I would be a little resistant to put this on a synthetic wig because build up synthetic wigs. Are they don't absorb product? Okay? So you could put as much of this on here and it may look good over time and you may use your hot comb to kind of like smooth it out, but that product is still going to sit on the hair. So unless you are going in and washing your unit or using a little bit of alcohol to just take off, you know like a little bit of the wax layer, it's going to build up and create residue, but for your human hair, wigs you got to get The camera care style plan, it's not class, if you, if you don't, have a character, wax thick, the the wax sticks that come or the flyaway balms that come with your human hair. Wigs are just as fine, but the next best thing, and this is the one. This is one of my favorites. If you are a beginner, if you are intermediate, if you were advanced, if i could do nothing else, but tell you to get this, this is in the description box, because this is one of my favorites. This is one of my all-time favorites and i will recommend this 10 times over one because the meltdown and so listen, i have my edge brush every you know, go get your edge brush, not all edge brushes are made equal, but get you an edge brush spray. Your brush spray, the brush versus spraying, your hair, directly spray the edge brush and look you really want to slick it back? Okay, going with this, because it's gon na lay one thing about the mini hardhead spray: it's going to lay the hair and one thing about this product is that it can. It will keep this kind of like mold for days, which is really really good. So if you ever take it off and you go to put it back on, you will be surprised and you can do a little swoop action when you do it. So you know what i'm saying: if you want a little swoop, because you don't want your hairline to be straight back. If you want to do a little swoop, it's going to stay and stay. It'S saying you see that it's going to stay. So what i'm going to do is take this clip. Put it right there, okay, spray! This is yep bed head. This is the mini hard head spray, that is, it smells good girl come on come on, come on come on, so let me get into it and this is it okay, that's how you do it now. Let me tell you some of y'all are probably like you know what i'ma just spray it i'm gon na just spray the wig itself. If you decide to spray the wig, i see you since it happens. Sometimes you just wanna, you wan na cut all the extra steps. Okay, if you do that, if you decide to use this bed, the mini heart head spray to just you know: mold your hairline, so that it's it looks exactly the way that you want. When you go to install it, okay, you need to be far away. You see where i'm at forearm distance. You see. This is a science like forearm distance spray, her, but you see how light of a mist that was, and then i'm just because i want to work on her as she is still slightly damp, has a little bit of you know: ability to mold it and she's Gon na stay she's gon na you see no hot comb, she's staying okay, that's just it! Your hair is going to stay just like this, but you also want to make sure that you get alligator clips, because this is the truth. If you don't have allo getting clips, get them take the hair i like to twirl it a little bit, bring it to the back. Take the hair twirl it a little bit, bring it to the back. Okay, so she's out of the way. So this is what i would do when i'm going in to install my units, because i don't want any hair getting in my face. Okay, i don't like that you i i do my adult swoops, but when i go in to install it's clean all across, let me fix that now, one of the tricks that i have for beginners, because how many of us struggle with the ear tabs you're, like? Oh, the ear tabs pink like when i go on to where my mask is lifting up. Let me talk to you because all scissors are not created equal, you have hair shears and then you have mini scissors. These are what you can get in a nail kit. A sewing kit go get the mini scissors because you're going to be more accurate, it's going to be a cleaner cut, they're, smaller thinner. I would not use hair shears to trim my lace around the ear tabs. Okay, if you're using kitchen scissors use what you can. I understand this i totally understand, but i'm just letting you know if you want a cleaner cut, go get you a nail kit, a sewing kit and use those scissors in the kit, but you want to trim the lace around your ear tabs before you install your Unit, listen to me i'm! So i'm a lot less stressed now, because this step it makes it so much neater because you you see what true fit you have so i'm just going in and i'm trimming the lace or i'm going around i'm following the hairline. I'M not creating what i think i need to do. I am trimming it around the hairline and i'm going to trim the excess off and it's not even a lot. That'S it! That'S all that! That'S all i took off. That'S all i wanted to go boom. That'S it and with these synthetic wigs you don't want to get too excited and trim too much of the hairline. You just want to trim the lace around the hair, that's around the ear tabs, because sometimes these synthetic wigs don't cover the hairline okay. They don't cover the hairline, so you got to make sure that when you trim that lace just trim around the hairline use the hairline as a guide, you're, not trimming any additional hair. Okay, i'm gon na do the same thing on the other side and i'm using. Oh, i always save my plug and civilize because when the girls come through, listen you can put me on in the background you know. Oh somebody gave me another super chat, i'm so sorry, i'm not seeing this stuff, i'm so sorry. Thank you. Whoever sent that um, i'm missing some stuff pink, i'm going to start using the hair wax for my hairline, well, the hot comb fry, a synthetic wig with the wax so okay. So this is what's going to happen and this is a great question and thank you so much again for your super chat, um. I want to make sure i'm clear on this. I'M sorry, i'm missing any questions, i'm just trying to make sure that i'm getting enough done um and i will go back and read if you use wax. If you use hairspray on a synthetic wig, and then you go in with your hot comb, you can do it, but do not have your hot comb set to the maximum temperature if you feel more comfortable, bring it down place it in between 10 or 15 or Around 325 350. i'm never gon na go 400 or 425 450 for a synthetic wig again, because we might have an explosion. Okay, we we might, we might have. I'Ve, had hair fall off of a wig because it was too hot. You know what i'm saying so. Learn from, but if you are using wax and then you go in with your hair um and then you go with the hot comb. It'S okay! It'S okay, bring the temperature of the hot comb down on a synthetic unit. If it was human hair, you could do as you please. But again. My concern about using that is, the heat from the hot comb will thin out the wax, but at the same time you're still going to have build up, because when the synthetic wig is not going anywhere, it's staying on the hair you're just thinning the wax out. With heat so you're dispersing your wax product, you get what i'm saying so then, let's say you've installed your wig once you did the wax you're going in to like refresh the wax use, a little bit of alcohol or wash your wig and then reapply. I don't want you guys to get big on the build up because it had girl. I wore synthetic wig for a month. I challenged myself and i did it. I did it, it was great. That'S i took i took a month off from you, know social media and wore a synthetic work for a month and it works. You can do it. You can do it just now getting on an expressway. So one check out the quality. Are you getting like? You know? A good quality human hair, but sometimes that's just how it goes now, if you like texture, but you don't like the poofiness look into yaki a light yaki. Those are so much better synthetic wigs that have the kinky straight texture. I would say, after like two weeks of consistent where you're gon na run into problems, that's just how i feel this is harmful, um, wigs, look! So wigs look so nice, but it feels so hot wearing them. What girl? What this is not hot! The only thing that's hot in this wig is me, like you know, i'm like i'm fly, but this no, they have so much ventilation, there's so much ventilation in the caps. Now i have no problems if your wig is hot, but some people, just you - may get hot in your head. Some people get hot in their head. You know what i'm saying like your scalp sweats a lot. So but that's not my problem. I mean if that is like your issue: look for caps that have better ventilation. You know y'all slay, any synthetics, but mine. Look like a screen. You know when you got the screen door in the middle but see they're, making the lace so thin. Now you see that come on, you see, the lace is so thin, and so that's the thing if you pull your wig out the box and the lace is dark, you already know you're not dealing with good quality lace. That'S it! That'S the number one sign. If you pull your wig out of the package and the lace is dark whoa - and this is how you judge put it on your forearm - i'm not talking about like in comparison to your skin. Take your forearm lay the lace. It is dark there. You know you know it's not the highest quality.
