Wig Too Small? Try This Beginner Friendly Install | My First Wig

This is gorgeous yes, it looks good. I think my makeup looks okay, so yeah hi guys, I'm happy International Women's Day. Welcome back to my channel. What I'm going to do is go over something that is super easy that you can do whenever your wig is too small. Not all brands have the same size and some runs smaller, some run larger. Sometimes maybe you purchased a wig, you cut it, you washed it. You did all of this extra stuff to it, customized it completely forgetting to check for sizing, and now you can't return the week. Maybe somebody bought you a wig or you won one in a giveaway. So it's a bit too small and we're gon na navigate that make it look good hide what we need to hide and move on with our lives. So if you guys want to see how I got this look, keep watching this is the box that Britney the long curly lace front, Malaysian wig comes in and these are the wig specs I'll have them in the description box, but I'll quickly go over them. They do send you a wig cap, you can choose the color, you want and it's super silky has deep six-inch parting. It also is pre plucked and the knots are bleached. I'M gon na quickly cut everything you can customize and choose your lace. Color adjustable straps. Three combs two on each side, one in the back, I'm gon na go ahead and cut the lace in the back and we are going to wash this hair shampoo going in a downward motion always hold the wig cap to make it easier, and I'm also going To condition because it is curly, hair and with curly hair, I want it to be nice and soft. This hair is so easy to deal with and I'm going to go ahead and collect the hair so that I can show you guys what it looks like rinse out, the conditioner lay it flat. This is how much hair I shed to define my curls, I'm using curly magic about five pumps. I always use this with my curly hair, because it works really well doesn't leave a nasty cast and gives me some amazing curls after putting it all over, I'm brushing out making sure it's distributed evenly and beautifully also brushing back in the front. So it's easier to lay my lace and I don't have hair interfering with that and that's it here is my wig and I'm just gon na put my wig on so this is it right here before guts? Be glued? Actually doesn't look bad honestly, you guys if I was lazy, I would probably just go like this. What is it called when you use old with a squirt of mousse, a dollop of mousse? I don't know if I want to do, got to be glued. This has got to be glued. The last of my got to be cleaned. I kid you not guys yeah, I'm getting down to the end of this. I do have some coming in the mail, but it's just kind of taking a while we're gon na apply some like right here on the sideburn area, put some there and then I'm going to kind of use whatever is in excess to divine that little piece of Hair and then here at the top we're gon na put some under. I have a face cloth here to just wipe my fingers on that way. I could keep my fingers clean and gel free, as I apply go like that and I'm putting such a small amount, because not only am I using it to apply, but also to kind of define the hair at the hairline. What I'm going to do now is take care of this, because my wig is too small, so some of us gon na go back, but I still want it to look natural. I don't want it to slide back on one side, because it can do that right here, I'm going to anchor the wig and I'm going to use the remnant of the gut to be like apply the wig, I'm not pulling it or anything, I'm just placing it Exactly where it is so that, if anything happens, if the wind blows it's gon na be right there, it's gon na stay, put it's not moving. It is happy where it is now. I'M gon na blow dry, my hair on warm and high-speed, but will says dried a little bit, so I'm gon na break the cast that it created so that I don't have to suffer with goober shiny hair all right. So this is where we are guys. This is my hair. I think it looks great. Okay, don't act like you've, never done this, but I'm just gon na get rid of the excess got to be glued down here. Cuz, it's leaving a little bit of a white cap. I mean I can just go over it with powder, but I don't want it to be too light now. Bare Minerals bear pro clove 28 line and fill everything in a lip brush is great because it's so little so it's very precise when you're applying it's not a sharp brush like an angled brush, but it's also not too fluffy of a brush. So it's going to give a nice filtered look, and then I can alternate between this powder and my edge control to make it look. Even more natural lovely B's edge control is gon na make the product look a little bit more like skin and less ashy, which is good around the perimeter, especially I'm never gon na get over how easy it is for me to make my fingers through this hair. I don't know how they process this hair, like whatever they did, they should keep doing it. We'Re just gon na do a little snip, snip snip to make sure it looks good, and then I'm going to do my makeup. Do not get this confused. I'M gon na do the get ready with me later on is gon na be strictly makeup, maybe a little bit of natural hair, I'm not sure yet half my master blur stick by Maybelline. This is in the color of 1:30, which is medium and people by people. I mean, like two people have asked me about it, but this is what I use to get rid of my pores. It really does a good job of concealing it's a primer, but it conceals well part of the reason why my first wig is sponsoring this video is because they decided to do something for International Women's Day. They believe women are the future and I think it's a very good stance to take, especially for a hair extensions company. You really don't see too much of that, and I have worked with my first wig for a while now I have seen them do collaborations with youtubers like make whole wigs named after youtubers, and all of that I've seen them do a lot of good things. So I have had a good experience working with my first week, which is why I keep working with them. They kind of spoil me a little bit, but really, if you guys want to know the real truth. Why I like working with my first week is this. I never have a problem with the hairline. I'Ve never had a problem with their curly hair. They'Re bobs are amazing. I haven't tried every single style my first week, but I've never had a problem. The colors for International Women's Day are purple green and whites, but usually purple. So I'm just going to use my masquerade mini palette by dubious place and see when I come up with. I don't want to go to. I have this Chi and Makeda and it's like this is a deep blue and this is a purple, so I'm gon na mix them up get a nice little indigo color going, but I'm not too invested in the color, because I want I want to keep it Simple, we're gon na do a little rainbow I've da here and it's a reddish brown and Kiro here, which is a shimmering Orange, I'm gon na just go in here with that to make it a little bit warmer. You guys. Let me know your experiences with my first week in the comments from a consumer perspective from a fan perspective or whatever perspective you want to give. I am going to go in nor vina right here, and this is passion. It'S a bit deeper, so I'm gon na go ahead and use that outside. So I can have some depth with my look and it's a plumage look see. This is the palette I should have used. This is a purple palette. I am curious to know how you guys feel about my first week. I have a good or have had a good experience with them, can't say the same about every company and we're gon na talk about that later on, maybe towards the end of the month. Maybe next month, as you mature, you see just how much is expected of women and it's like we're socialized to always be giving of ourselves, never expecting anything or asserting ourselves and saying like hey, you know I this. I need that, like we are socialized to really deal with discomfort dissatisfaction in life, and things of that nature will speak out against being treated unfairly. It'S kind of like she's, not amicable, she's, not feminine she's, not something. It'S like. We saw something something wrong with this. Well, she's asking too much because I don't personally have dealt with it like where I'll say: okay like this is just ridiculous, or this is not working for me or something and I'll like try to get something addressed and just like it gets dismissed. These things happen to everybody, but where a man is called passionate, a woman will be called angry, but it's better to be problematic than bitter. Sometimes so, as you mature, you find clever ways to navigate the issue, but it's still an issue you know. So I'm glad my first wig actually wanted to do this and wanted to stand with women in a way I feel like they're kind of my family. You know FedEx had delays, everybody had delays due to the corona virus outbreak, I guess cold in nineteen. However, you say it, but they were delays with shipping due to the virus and unfortunately, of course you do have real human beings, shipping real packages, and we have to keep them safe. We have to be prayerful and like one of the things I did was after. I discovered that that was a reason for the delay. I went ahead and checked on my first wig and I was like hey. I hope you guys are fine. The whole family is fine and every I checked on a couple of other sponsors as well, because after a while, when you've been on YouTube for a while, you just kind of like see certain sponsors, not all of them as almost family, because they're so easy to Work with they listen when you tell them stuff, I'm gon na use my clove 27, which should I use espresso who's darker is noticeably darker. I'Ve actually had brands call me and say you can't say that in the video and I'm like mmhmm yep, I can say it, but I've. Never. I'Ve died, probably with my first one. They just kind of like okay, so good enough Thanks. There are gon na, be things you're, not gon na, like about a wig, they're gon na be things you are gon na, like about a league as a general rule, I do like wigs from my first wig. Never had long weeks for my first week so that might be a deal-breaker. I don't know yet. Most of the wigs I've tried are on the shorter side, though so that's usually a good thing problematic, so yeah I was out there checking in on everybody. Like is everybody okay, okay, good there's? Now the viruses in the United States and what's gon na happen? Eventually, we have two confirmed cases here: it's not a terrible disease. It'S one of those situations where lack of preparedness is the real reason why people are dying. Unfortunately, of course, some people just can't take it and do die from the virus, just like people who die from contracting the flu or something we can't prevent these things. Sometimes you don't anticipate, what's going to happen as a global society. That'S just how life is so we have to be prayerful. I hope you guys are okay and you're, washing your hands and yourself safe, because some areas are a little bit harder hit than others. Things we should be doing anyway, just make sure we're clean and we are making proper decisions with regards to how we interact with others since it's a communicable disease, so I think everything turned out: okay, as far as Women's Month inspired makeup and hair. This is gorgeous. Yes and the curls alone have me sold on this unit, I'm gon na have the details in the description box. You will definitely see this wig again, because I want to see like how it is from a longevity perspective. I'Ve worn it twice, and this is a first impression I have washed the wig. I have worn the wig, I have enjoyed the wig, but is it really enough to give a review not quite yet, though the wig has performed beautifully, so I don't even have to comb it in between. That is good for curly hair, because curly hair tends to you guys. Let me know the only thing I do regret. Of course I regret not getting the proper size, but I'm never gon na make that mistake again. Okay, you know, I don't always braid my hair tightly under there, so I do need to size up anyway. It look good. I think it looks good. I think my makeup looks okay, so yeah the texture is very easy to manage you just rake through and it's very lightweight. You don't need that much product to make it look good. Of course you need to trim it. You have to trim it. You can't just wear it as is, but that's all there is for this video guys.
