Quick Fix! How To Make Your Wig Look So Natural! Cutting Ear Tabs For A Custom Fit⎪My First Wig

Today'S video is going to be a tutorial on this beautiful wig that was sent to me from my first wig. I will have all of their information the promo codes and direct links to the wig worn in this video down below in the description box. The wig that i received is in the style jada lfb010. It is a 12 inch. Blunt cut lace, front wig, with brown highlights, the wig has three combs an adjustable strap and a removable elastic band. Is the post notification bell turned on for my channel? If not, don't forget to hit it down below so the first thing that i'm going to grab is alcohol. I'M going to clean my forehead off with that alcohol and then i'll be grabbing scalp protector and applying that to my scalp. So today, i'm going to show you how i custom cut my ear tabs for a custom fit this step is overlooked, but it makes a huge, huge, huge difference in the overall install if you notice a difference, make sure you guys comment down below before you leave. So the first thing that i'm going to do is try the wig on and just see what i'm working with your typical lace front. Wig comes in either a 13 by 2, 13 by 4, 13 by 6 or 13 by 8 dimension. This is a 13 by 4, so the 13 is basically the inches across your forehead from your ear to your ear, but of course that doesn't fit everyone's head, so you would basically have to map out where your ear is and where you want your hairline to Stop i'm using a rat cell comb to do that, i'm also using a spray bottle of water just to hold the hairs in place so that i am not cutting into the hairs. You want to make sure that you are not cutting off any extra hair and that you are literally making a very clean and neat part, so that once you're ready to cut that lace off you're cutting directly in the center of the part and not cutting into The wig so, let's see a side-by-side comparison of the before and after and when cutting the ear tabs, you can do it while it is on your head or your client's head or you can just map it out on someone's head and then take the wig off Of their head and then get a better look at what you're doing by carefully taking your scissors while it is in your hands and using that part as a guide to cut off that extra lace. While you are holding the wig all right. So now that the lace front is a custom fit it's now time to install the wig, i'm going to grab a pair of scissors and cut two slices in the extra lace. I'M going to pin the left and right sides out of my face and push the wig backwards grabbing got to be ultra glued gel in the black tube i'm going to apply a thin layer of that to the center section. First use my blow dryer for about 10 seconds, then i'm going to grab that extra lace, pull it forward over that tacky gel and then, with the help of a rat tail comb, i'm going to press that lace into the tacky gel. I am going to follow those steps for the left and right portions of this wig and then put my head scarf on for about 15 minutes. Finding this video helpful, don't forget to give it a huge thumbs up so sometimes when i use got to be ultra glue, gel some of the hairs do stick down to the lace and they do gunk up together, and i don't like that look. So i find that when i use this gel by garnier fructis, which is kind of like a very light hold gel, i use that gel and my edge control brush to basically get those hairs to and loosen, and it just puts everything into place. As you can see, it's a huge difference, so i'm just going to smooth those hairs out of the way just push them backwards, so that i can have a very clear view of my hairline and then i'm going to grab my scissors and cut off that extra Lace, so if you've ever installed your wig this way, you will notice that you'll have some extra lift up along your hairline. But don't worry about that because if you grab got to be free spray, it'll get that to look as melted and seamless as it can get before i apply the got7 spray. I am going to cut some baby hairs into this wig and spray that freeze spray on it. Put my head scarf on for about five minutes to allow it to set, and then i'll be back for styling all right. So now i'm just going to grab my hair wax stick apply that to the hairline and then use my pressing comb to smooth those hairs into place. This is going to help get rid of any flyaways and it's going to just make sure that everything is polished and sleek and smooth and in its proper placement i'm loving this wig, i'm loving the density, i'm loving the texture of it. I really really really love the melt of it. It was super easy to install and, of course, i love the fact that it looks so natural, especially since we custom cut the ear tabs. I think this is one of the most user-friendly beginner friendly wig installs. It was so easy to install you, don't have to do any extra plucking. You don't have to tint the lace. You don't have to color the wig. You don't have to do any of that. To finish off the look, i'm going to grab biosilk's, silk, infusion, hair serum, apply that to the hair and then in small sections, i'm going to use my flat iron to bump it and here's the finished.
