How To: Customize Wig Head To Your Head Size | Make The Perfect Sized Wig Each Time!

Hey how you doing as you can see I'm wearing a unit. This is actually a unit from RPG show it's a rihanna inspired wig and I crushed this wig three years ago guys I did customized my parting to make it look realistic, and I love this wig, but I also like to make my own wigs when I don't Have money to purchase these units because, let's be real, these natural-looking lace units are quite expensive. So if I can buy cheaper hair and make my own I'll do that I've been making wigs for the last four years now, but now they have lace, frontals, lace, closures. You know all of that when I would sew on the track to my wig cap and I'm completely finished and I'm so excited to put it on. I would put that joint on my head and it's way too tight through research and looking on YouTube. I realized that there is a way to customize your wig head, so that each and every unit that you make will always have the perfect fit. If you're anything like me and you kind of have a big head, then that's perfect because who wants to go through all the troubles like I did make units and they can't even fit your head. My wig head has been with me for about four years now. Her name is Bob weecha and she's been such a good help for me, making my units for myself and my mother that she's been through it all so don't judge here she is Bob cliche. I have my hair nicely braided down it's nice and flat. There'S no lumps or bumps take a measuring tape like this and I'm going to go from the middle of your forehead right here, all the way back to your name, and that gives me about three and a half inches. And then you want to take this. A conference of your head, which is around your head so again I'm going to go from the middle right here and that's at a 22. So perfect! Now you know your dimensions. So now you want to look at your Styrofoam head and see what their dimensions are, and hers is about 12 now for the circumference as well, and the circumference is around 20.5 now. What I'm going to do is take the tape and just apply it like such okay, so now we're at 21 and we have to get to 22 inches. Oh and there we go at exactly 22 inches, so that matches my circumference. So now we're going to go from the forehead to the nape double check and it's still at 12 inches 13.5 right here. So not every time. When I make my unit, I should get the perfect fit whether I'm using a dome cap weaving cap. By doing this method, you're able to custom up your wig head that way, you can always get the perfect fit.
