My Wig Is Too Small! | Quick Wig Hack

If your head is blessed in size like mine, you may have experienced a wig cap that is too small once you've already constructed your unit and can't get the time or effort back! Here's a quick way to stretch out your unit without ruining it or having to discard it altogether! Hope this helps!

Hey guys today, I'm coming to you all with a heck on if your wig is too small, if you're anything like me, you've gone through the experience of making a full way, putting time into it hours on hours, only to try it on, and that thing does Not fit that will piss you off, so there is a way to get your dome cap style wig to fit. If it is too small, I need to stretch it up. This will be a lifesaver because nobody is going back, taking off weft rebinding hair. Are you making a wig none of the above, so here's what you can do is super easy super quick. So let's do it. What you're gon na do all you're gon na do is go into your unit, and this is another unit I made. I have on the unit as well, but this is one that I made. That was too small when I tried it on in. I had a fit, but in order to stretch the dome cap material, what you're gon na do is go in and make holes around where you sew. So you have to make sure that you're going in on an area that is not sewn on and doesn't have stitches close together and make sure that hair on the other side is out of the way as well, make sure you're getting cap and cap only don't Snip those threads because you're wefts will start coming apart and literally just snip it now. What that does is creates holes in spaces to create more space in your unit and widen it out and, as you can see, I made incisions basically all over my unit. I need to make sure that it was enough so that it was stretchy enough, because this thing would not fit and that's so frustrating after you put the time in and you're trying to rock your wig and she's not working out. But what I would suggest is start by one hole in each corner, see if that works and then add more as needed: don't go in and just sabotage the whole thing and then it might be too big. You'Ll have another problem on your hands, but go through and just making sit-ins as needed, and that will stretch your wig out no problem and that will bring you back to life and not having pissed off that. You spent all that time and effort and money. And your weight won't fit so yeah. WigginOutBZ: If you're making wigs consistently for yourself and/or for clients it's best to invest in a wig head that is your size, they will be a bit pricier than a styrofoam head but will save you the headaches later. Human head sizes range from as small as 19 inches to as large as 25 or more inches in circumference and a standard foam head is about 20 inches, and if you have a big head it won't fit! It's like being a size 8 but custom making yourself a dress that's a size 4, it won't fit! I have a few videos on my channel explaining this more in depth!
