Quick Tip | Wig Cap Too Big? Try This!

Easily make my wigs fit my peanut head - no cutting or tape measure required!
Hey guys, so I'm just gon na share this little tip little thing that I learned from a very bad experience when making my first view, part wig and the thing came out so big. I really didn't understand why, when the mannequin head is not that big, but I guess I really do just have that peanut head and I should have measured before I went on yeah the back of the? U or the bottom of the? U is on my forehead. See look at that. This is where I was sewing it, and I made the gaps too far apart between tracks. So here are the gaps at our way to babe. I put the tracks too far apart, so this method that I had used, we use an elastic band at the back to try and gather the nape did not work. So what I'm gon na have to do is make the cap smaller. So all you're gon na do is basically find the places in the cap that have large gaps, which means you do have excess netting. Don'T want the tracks, you really don't want the tracks to overlap each other, so they have to be mindful of that. So you're going to do is just pinch and start sewing. If you do so underneath the pins you may get them caught up in the thread or in the stitching. So just be mindful of that. It'S not crucial, but I just found that when I sold above the pin, it was just a lot easier to take the pins out and the pins did not move around if the leg is too big ear to ear grasping so letting in a vertical, like up-and-down Fashion and if the wig is too big front to back grasp and stow the netting in a horizontal like side-to-side fashion. Alternatively, you can grasp and cut the netting and then sew it together, but use caution because you may cut too much see there we go now. It fits perfectly and thank God, because I really did not want to do it all over again. So thanks for watching you guys, I really hope that this tip helped you out.
