Hey friends how's it going so today's video is going to be a fun little start-to-finish video. So I did get asked a really good question before and how to customize a wig. That'S too big for your head. So today I decided to show you guys how to do that so double leaf. We'D sent me this pretty 16 inch curly wig. Now, unfortunately, the wig for me is just way too big, I'm an average to medium cap size and I'm not quite sure what cap size I got but hey it's alright, there's an easy way to fix this. So one side of the ear tab wins perfect and the other side does it. So what I'm going to do is try to figure out a way to get this to lay and be perfect, meaning centering it up in the middle and then getting both area tabs to lay nice. So basically, what I'm going to do is go ahead and line up the side that is correct. Now, once you figure out which side lays perfectly fine and which side doesn't you're going to go ahead and cut the side that doesn't do well. So I already solidify the side on right hair. That is my good side, so this one lands perfect ear to ear right on this side. So what I'm going to do on the opposite side is go ahead and create like a little bit of a parting space with the air tab. Lining is act so it doesn't have to exactly match your ear tab or the old ear tab. What you're going to do is just go against the line of your ear tab, so I'm gon na part this face on this cap and then I'm just gon na cut through that line and trace like the ear tab area of my natural ear tab way and Once you do this, it's very simple: don't get nervous, just go ahead and trace that ear, tab and cut that piece off then what you're going to just do is simply pull that down and match it to your ear tab and there you go. So it's really that simple you're, just basically making a line and tracing the ear tab way of your natural air, and there you go. I would just like to mention something before I quickly run off all the products that I use for this review. They actually linked down below, for you guys, I will have direct links to all the products. The actual product that I use from my first weeks actually lived their direct link down below as well. It'S the flyweight tamer that you guys asked them for all the time. So look down below for every single thing used in today's video, so lately guys have been really into kind of like these fun little curly. Bang style looks so I decided to go ahead and add a few layers into the front area of my wig. So I'm just gon na make it like a little curly style bang. Now I did kinda get a little scissor happy, but I I kind of thought that you know. Maybe when I wet it will look a little bit better, so I did kind of trim it up. So what I'm going to do is go ahead and just put some plain water in it. I'M actually not gon na put any products in this hair, because this hair is very, very soft and it doesn't eat products. So what I'm doing now is just scrunching the hair with my hand and just using the blow-dry against it. I do not have my diffuser, so this is an easy way to do if you don't have the diffuser attachment, so I'm going to basically scrunch the hair up and blow-dry between my fingers, obviously, and really get the hair to be nice and styled dry. This is a quick way of doing it, the cheapest way of doing it kind of the getter way of doing it. But let me tell you guys: it does the freaking job and obviously you guys will see how solidify the curls look very nice and dry styled and very very pretty all right people. So this is the finished look of this unit, so I am kind of doing this set up a little bit different, so usually have film on the windows side, but I'm actually doing it this way, because I did do like a little bit of decorating in the House, so it is a little bit different. So if you guys want to see the furnished apartment tour, I will have it up soon. I didn't do it in the winter time because it was so crazy in the winter time. I had a lot of things going on, but since spring is like arrived and I did some spring cleaning, so everything looks really really good, really really modern, really really chic. So I am going to show you guys what that looks like in furnished apartment tour. So you can just enjoy the scenery in the back, it's all fun and stuff like that, so I decided to kind of switch up my filming so I'll probably do it in this angle, the old angle and a few other angles around here in my office. Slash living room, so this unit guys was sent to me from double leaf wigs. So obviously you guys saw the video very, very nice, simple kind of like spring summertime, like kind of curly look now with this one. I didn't do any styling to it. As far as styling products, the only thing I did with this one was just wet. The bang part which I cut and then just put a little water and just kind of dry it out with the blow dryer. I did not use any kind of like leaving conditioners anything because I wanted to show you guys what the hair looks like naturally out the box, so this unit was sent to me from double leaf wig, and then I read the specs off my phone. So I don't screw this up. You know how that goes. So this is a D 99. It'S six inch parting space, while the lace is six inches. So this one is the style curly, it's to style number three, the hair colors in natural color, the length that I have is 16 inches long and the density is 180 percent density. This is pre plucked and it does have baby hairs around the perimeter. Now this one did not come pre bleach, but I was okay with that because you guys know I was going with my pattern. Just you know top it off in the top. If you do want to, you can go in and bleach it. I'M just now learning how to bleach, so I'm kind of excited about that so probably and I'm going in and bleaching this one after this unit has a lot of parting space. So you know what these units, sometimes I even do a middle part side part. So I went with the side part with this one. Now one thing I did do different: I've been into kind of like little curly, bangs and stuff like that, so you guys did see me go ahead and snip the in the beginning. I was like whoa, you kind of went too crazy because it's kind of sticking up like that. But obviously you have to go in with a little bit of water diffuse it a little bit with the blow drying and then you'll get the kind of same curl pattern. So the only areas that I went on this one was the front right here right here and a little bit in the inner part here, just because it was a little bit straight. I know I got asked a question before why the wigs are so straight at the base. If you guys don't know, sometimes these companies kind of machine press the hair to be a pattern. This one is actually a natural curly pattern. Once I put the water on it, it kind of went into wave pattern itself, so it's not a straight as some units. So with this one, I think that it's really nice, the pear texture, is super duper soft. I ran my hands through it. You guys did see I just kind of pulled the hair. I'D wanted it to be like a little bit, buff a little bit soft and careless. At the same time, it's not like the kinky, texture and wig. I showed you guys last time, but that one's just like a big stiff wait, not stiff lip but big with volume. This wouldn't had to kind of amplify it with volume. A little bit. I did use the Aussie headstrong volume hairspray just to kind of solidify some of the parts, especially in the bang area, and then I did go ahead with the Latisse. I said this wrong in my last video: the batiste dry shampoo. The only reason why it's a dry shampoo is because I sometimes don't like that kind of shiny curly look, so I just put in some areas just kind of give it like a little bit of a texture a little bit of a rough look. So I definitely like it like this. I will turn her on and show us what the back looks like. So this unit came to me sixteen inches now, if I were purchasing this unit off from the company, if your price point isn't that high, when I went to the website and kind of calculate it was a little bit up there in price point nothing past. Two hundred dollars, but if I were going to purchase this unit because I do like the curl pattern and I do like amount of parting space you have, I would actually order this in a fourteen or sixteen inches. And I would just opt out of the one hundred eighty percent density. That'S just my opinion. I would just get this in this one hundred and fifty percent intensity just because it's curly hair, if you use a wide tooth comb, you can go ahead and make it nice and buff. Now with me, I'm not somebody. That'S super duper crazy, even kind of those like wet curly styles, I'm just not into that. So with me. What I like to do is wet it and then diffuse it with the blow-dryer and then that's girl. I love that that looked to me looks so much natural. It looks like you didn't do too much and it just this style is really nice and capped. I just love that look so for me. I'M gon na probably just wear this like this. Obviously, I'm gon na have to wash it and once I wash it I'll, give a nice like a nice good air dry and then I'm not gon na put any products, and I'm just gon na go the density and like the the like weight of this hair Is very light, so I don't really think I would put products in this one just because it'll weigh the hair down and because the hair is super super soft, you really don't even need any type of leave in conditioner. Anything you could just say forget that. No, I did go ahead and snip a little bit of my hair because it was a little bit like weird if some part you're right here and like I was like whatever so I did go ahead and snip it with these little babysitter's I got, but I Do like this a lot, let me I'm into these kind of little curly bang looks for the summertime. I like that kind of like effortless kind of like cascaded, curly, bang! Look! So that's what I went with this one. Like I said, I almost got carried away with the cup, but then once I put the water on it and I diffused it with the blow-dryer, the curl pattern formulated together. So it's all unison and all really pretty. So I call it's kind of like a fresh, clean kind of look. This is something I would wear exactly what the white t-shirt very light makeup like I had well not very light makeup, but kind of like a gloss. Look like this for the summer in spring. So I think that this is really nice, I'm really happy and on all angles. I think this looks really really good, like I said to you guys, I personally wouldn't get 180 % density for this one, because curly hair has density on top of density. If you know what I mean, it's already a dense type of texture, so I would say, get in 150 and stay within the 14 to 16. For me, I wouldn't get this long. I feel like it looks so good like this and long hair. It'S all dated nowadays, I feel like these kind of like 14 16 inch lengths even with straight hair, just looks so freakin, nice and clean. I'M all about these kind of clean looks for the spring and summer. So I think that this one is super duper up. There with that, my style this summer and it's a really nice fresh, look and who is texting me yes. So it's definitely like a nice fresh lip this summer. So I thought that this was pretty and I thought I would like to show you guys how I do the little cut. So I just cut like the main areas that are gon na fall. This way cut it down and then just blow dried it up and just scrunch it together. If you don't have the diffuser head, what I did was, I just took my hand scrunched it and then put the blow-dryer on it, just to kind of give it like a scrunch. Look that method works. A hundred percent, I'm telling you you don't have a diffuser. Do it that way, just hold it in a scrunch position and blow-dry it out, so that the hair gets dry in that position? Let it go and you'll have that nice kind of formulated curl up that Pat matches the rest of the hair so guys I will leave all the information down below if you're interested in purchasing this unit from double leaf.
