Summer Pixie Wigs | Lace Fronts & Open Caps | 11 Styles From 7 Brands | Discussion Of Each!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm eileen today is going to be a fun day, i'm going to show you lots of different pixie styles and i'm going to have several more of these videos coming up. So you know, as you know, if you watch my channel and by the way, if you're new here welcome to my channel, please subscribe and i upload a couple times a week, so i would love to have you join me here again today we're going to look At pixies, but these all have something in common: they all have lace fronts and they are all open, wefted, all the ones i'm going to show you lace, fronts and open wefted. Some have mono features and some do not. I will tell you on each one now, all the weeks that you're going to see today are from weekstudio1.com. They were either either provided to me for previous review, or i purchased them with my own funds, but they're all from weekstudio1.com. Now this is not a wig review. I'Ve already reviewed all these wigs. So if you want to see a full review of a certain wig go to the drop down box below this, video and there'll be links down there to my reviews that i've already done. That'S not what this is. This is just a quick overview, very short, just to show you some fun summer, styles that you might be interested in and i like, i said they all have something in common: they all have lace, fronts and they're all open wefted. Okay, before we get started, let's just talk about advantages and disadvantages of open wefting. Now, in my opinion, yes, they are cooler. Now, that's just my opinion and keep in mind everything i'm going to say in this video is just my opinion. We all have different opinions and i that's what i love about wig reviewing what i might find in a wig that i like you might not like that. So i'm just going to tell you what my opinion is of these short styles. I think the open wefter, the open wefting is a little bit cooler and, like i said i live down here in the south, so i enjoy open wefting. It provides more stretch normally. So if you have a little larger head circumference a lot of times open cap will work, they are certainly more budget-friendly. When you start getting into hand-tied caps, it starts getting a little bit more expensive. Now the disadvantages there are always advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is they're, not quite as natural looking, of course, as a hand-tied cap, a hand-tied cap, if the wind blows, you don't see any wefting now on these short wigs, i don't think you're going to see wefting if the wind blows, because these are really short Pixies, however, that is in some people's opinion, a disadvantage. So if that is something you're concerned about wefting's showing possibly you would want a hand-tied cap, but it's just never been a concern for me. Okay, let's get started, i can't wait to show you some fun. Pixie styles, all right, let's get started with ellen villa coco in champagne, rooted all right. What a fun wig lace front like i said, open wefted! This one has a mono crown again: uh see the drop down box. If you want to see everything inside of the cap, everything about this wig, but this has a little mono crown, which makes it look like this. Hair is growing right out of your head. That is such a fun feature on this wig notice. How the nape is very close to the neck? Now that's a big thing for me with pixies, i like the nape to be very tight against my neck any way i move this, it's not going to lift. I enjoy that now, like i said this has a lace front and i just want you to see. I pinned this back just with this little clip. It'S so easy to do. Do not let anyone tell you you can't style short wigs. You can get some inexpensive, uh, hair accessories and then just put this like a little clip just like this in it, you can change it up easily. Okay, this is ellen villarreca in red, vino, shaded, wow. What a beautiful color this has a little longer length in the back. If you have hair that grows down on your neck a little bit, this is a nice option. As you can see, the nape is a little longer here now again lace front. Mono crown on this one and um just a little fyi. This fits me huge. I have a 21 and a quarter inch head circumference, and this is really big on me. So i just want to let you know that, but what a fun style rika is. It is new for 2022, it's part of their modix collection and i think they did a great job with this wig i like it, i bought it in two colors. I have it in a blonde and then i have it in this dyna dynamic red. I have this color in several other uh of ellen villa different styles, and i just think it is so fun, and so many people can wear it lots of layers here. You can wear this behind your ears. You could wear this all going forward if you would like. I just tend to tuck things behind my ears. Just my way spike this up a little bit run some product through it. You can't go wrong. Okay. How could we talk about pixies and not talk about estetica designs, jet one of their most popular short styles? You know, like i said in the cooler months here, i tend to wear longer, hair uh, but when it starts getting hot, i start looking for my pixies and i pull out jet. I have repurchased this time and time again, this one is rh1488r t8 again close to the neck and again on this one it is a little longer. It is a little longer on the neck, so it does provide that coverage but wow what a fun wig it now. This has a lace front, but there's no mono crown or anything, but it has a very deep lace front on this one and isn't it nice with these wigs another advantage is to you're able to wear them off your face. You can wear them different ways. You can wear it down like i did. I just sweat mine across, but you can easily pull this back. Wear this in a fun clip all the way off your face that lace front just provides you that option so again. I think it is so nice on even these short wigs, but they give us a lace front. Okay. This is jon renau evan in 10, 26 tt lace front mono crown you know. I really appreciate these little mono crowns. I think it gives us that little bit of lift right there, like it's going right out of your scalp. I just always think that's a nice feature on these wigs, so pretty, let me show you this lace front evan's been around a long time for a reason, it is easy to wear. It is a little asymmetrical here again. I just tend to pull everything behind my ears, but you certainly do not have to you could wear this all going forward. I just tend to like to pull one side back. This has a nice shape. This is very. This never goes out of style. You know this style just never. It never dates itself. You can wear this for years and years to come, evan by jon, renau, ellen villarreals in pearl blonde rooted. I like this one, because it has a little more length on it lace, front mono crown again, but the layers are longer here pro blonde rooted. I love it. I have i'm a fan of matching my hair to my outfit. I have a black t-shirt dress and i always tend to reach for this wig in the summer, with that t-shirt dress because of the color. This pearl blonde rooted is so beautiful, with just a solid black. It'S just a really nice combination and, like i said i always whatever i'm going to wear for that day, then i decide what hair i'm going to wear, but this one is so pretty again just a slight wave on this. I love this lace front. I have repurchased this wig over and over again, you just can't go wrong. Okay, this is envy mickey and platinum shadow. Now this has a lace front and a mono top even giving us more styling options here. Nice front has this mono top? You can change the parting around if you want to part it on this side. You can do that again in my videos link below i always have styling segments, so you can see different ways to style it. You can part it anywhere. It has such a natural look here on the top due to that mono top, and you know just use some styling uh. I have some wig wax here, which i really like this wig wax it separates it. It gives a little texture to it. I find myself reaching for that a lot. I like sea salt spray. I always start off with some water. You know that you've seen me many times in my videos. I always start off by just spraying a little water on it, but for a more permanent all-day style, i'll use, some of that wig wax or some sea salt spray. Some wig hairspray just something, but this really creates a little texture which i like i have. I do not think my review of this has come out on my channel, yet i'm not sure, but i have reviewed this hair and i think again this is a beautiful color new color for 20 22 platinum, shadow, okay. This is renee of paris shane in the color silverstone. I love this color. It is beautiful. Look at these different shades of gray in this one beautiful profile on this wig. I love how it sweeps down. This has a lace front and a mono part. So i've showed you everything. We'Ve had just lace fronts: we've had lace fronts with mono tops, we've had lace fronts with mono crown, so i'm trying to show you a little bit of everything from all different uh manufacturers, but this color, i think it's so beautiful. It just works so nice. I think on this style, shane, okay, this is a little longer style. However, i wanted to include it in this video because i just didn't want to pass up the chance to show it to you. This is jon renau eve and the color is martini. Now again, it's a little longer. It does this nice nape, but it has longer layers now this has a lace front and a full mono top. It is beautiful, beautifully beautifully done here. I like the long, sweeping layers here now: they're, not this is not choppy. This is more long as you can see it's not short layers like the majority of the ones. I'Ve shown you so far. This has a little length to it. This will provide styling options because it is a full mono top like we said you can change the parting on this. You have lots of things you can do here. Wear the bang down part it in the middle part it on the side. Wear it in a headband. The styling options are just really really nice on this one. Don'T forget to look at this one. I think you'll, like it. Okay, raquel welch go to style in shaded biscuit now. I think this one is gorgeous. I think this is trendy, but not too trendy very up to date has a beautiful, beautiful profile on this wig. It has a little bit lower in the front, but this nice nape - i just can't, say enough about this one. I think this is beautiful. Lace, front. Mono part here longer layers like we saw before you can wear this sweeping forward, pull it back, pull it off your face. You can tuck it behind both ears and get a sleek look there, but i think what i like about this is this front and shorter. In the back and then coming around sweeping down a little longer with this longer fringe on the front makes it very up to date. Wow this one rocket, let's hit a home, run, i think, with go to style. Okay, i don't think this wig gets enough love. This is new from the modex collection from ellen villa. This is barletta hi mono and ivory blonde shaded. This has a scalloped lace front and a full mono top, and i just think this is the perfect pixie layers. As you can see layered all over, but yet they give us this full mono top on this. I think that is so awesome, i'm going to use a little sea salt spray and i'm just going to show you how i like to do it now. You see i can spike now i i like spiky hair, so you know that so you can easily do that here, just spike this up, but you see you have this full mono top. So if you wanted to pull this down and sleep this down, you can do that wow. Just i appreciate that you know we, like short hair, if you're a pixie lover like i am, but i still like to have some mono features, so i can do some different things. I want to pull this over to this side. I can do that. I want to spike it completely up. I can do that. I want to wear it off my face, so i have options because i have this beautiful scallop lace front and then i have a full mono top way to go ellen villa yeah. This is great. Okay. This is gabor all the best and the color is mocha. I just like these nape lace front, full mono top. Now again, i really appreciate that from these manufacturers on these short weeks that they give us this mono feature it's so natural. Looking beautiful lace front now, this one is a little more sophisticated. In my opinion, it's a little more smooth. It'S not spiky! I'M going to use just a little wig wax on it. I just want to separate it a little because that's my look and you can see just by adding that i can add a little texture here. Give it a little more body. Give it a little movement easy easy to do just by using that little bit of wig wax, then i can pull it off. My face. Wear one side down: if i'd like it has options, it has a lace front, it has a mono top. You can wear this, however, you want to okay. I hope you enjoyed a look at a few of these fun summer pixies.
