3 Ways To Put Hair Under A Wig Cap No Cornrows

3 easy ways to get your hair down that don't involve cornrows. Cornrows can be difficult to master, I struggle with them from time to time. But fear not in this video I show you 3 simple easy ways to get you hair under a wig cap. These are beginner friendly ways if you're just starting out.

I like to do all these methods when my hair is damp, this allows me to utilize my shrinkage to get my hair flat as possible. Then I immediately put on my wig cap, do-rag, and go to bed.

1st Way the Bun

• This is a simple and easy method; I recommend using styling gel to help get hair a flat possible.

2nd Way Twist Out or Braid Out

• Section your hair into small parts, you don't want to do to large of section because that will lead to lumps or bumps under the wig cap.

3rd Way Twist Rows

• This is on of my favorite methos just because it makes everything more uniform. Even if they are small bumps, they are all the same height and shape giving a more cohesive appearance.

Hi guys, i'm kalari and welcome to my channel in today's video i'm showing you three different ways that you can get your hair ready for putting on a wig, and these are ways that i do this video comes at a request from my lovely sister. She said that she would love to see a video about how i got my hair ready, since she is new to the wig world and whatnot they're very simple ways. They don't take technical skill, because i do not know how to cornrow. If you want to see how i get my hair down, keep watching, so the first way is to just do a simple slick back bun um. If you want to get your hair a little bit flat, if you're doing it, while it's dry and you can use styling gel, which almost out of actually very out of - but this is a simple method, if you're not used to braiding or doing twist downs - and You just want to get it and go if you have thicker, hair or longer hair. Sometimes it's harder to just get everything to fit in the cap, and you see how like there are parts where my head is like raised, and you see the bump. Whenever you put on your wig depending on what kind of wig you have, if it's not a wig, that's curly with a lot of volume, you will be able to see. Another thing is be careful when using the combs, because the thicker, your hair, is back here. The more raised it is sometimes i have noticed if i wear wigs with bands or combs, it starts to just lift a little like. I can feel it's not super secure, not that it's gon na fly off my head, but i just have to be careful. So that's just option. One option two is super simple. You'Re gon na need some rubber bands for this option and you can either do twists or braids. I'M only gon na do half of my head, because this is not how i'm gon na wear my hair. I like to do this when my hair is damp. My hair is not damp because i don't plan on washing my hair until tomorrow, so i don't want to double wash my hair so for this one you're going to want to work in small sections. If you work in two larger sections, whenever you put your wig cap on wherever those large sections are you're going to see bumps and raises my hair is stretched right now, so twisting it would probably be easy if my hair was damp or wet. My hair will expand after it dries and it will be a lot thicker like no matter how thin i get. It would be thicker. And then, when i put my wig cap down, you can see where it's raised. That won't be a problem. If i'm wearing like a curly wig or a wig that has body weight, yeah see right now, my hair is stretched, so it doesn't unravel easily my hair stretched because i used one of those blow drying brushes last week and it's just been like this all week. Let'S see it starts to expand just a little bit compared to how it was i'm only going to do half of my head because again there's one last method. I want to show you guys, so this is how it starts to look um. I did the front half of my head: i'm not gon na. Do the back half of this doing. This will take quite some time and get this underneath the wig. Oh, my god, is how it looks underneath the wig cap like sure, if you can see it well but like if you were to do it bigger than this, like imagine just having large sections of like bumps. So that's why you want to do it as small as possible that way, whenever you put on your wig cap, it's not like you know noticeable and sometimes what i'll do i'll start to take them and i'll start to twist them in each other to keep them Together because sometimes it's hard for me to work with them, if they're all over the place so and then sometimes i think i've got them all tucked underneath my wood cap, the next thing you know there's like a strand hanging out somewhere in the back of my Head so that's another thing i like to do so. The last and final method is probably the simplest and easy method. In my opinion, it is like doing cornrows, but it's not cornrows, but you're, not braiding you're just doing twists. I like this method because it does not take any technical skill. Braiding is difficult. Okay, so let's see if i can come closer hi we're up close and personal now, so once i cross it this one close right here is now the front strand this one right here is the back strand, so once you cross it you're only going to add Hair to the back strand so take a little bit of hair and then, when i got my hair in there, i just crossed it over and now what was the back strand becomes the front strand, and then it was the front strand is the back strand. So once that happens same thing add some hair to the back twist it until you get to the bottom. I definitely recommend for this part to make sure that you have rubber bands or clips, because the twist can't unravel easily okay, so i've returned and my hair is patted down um. Another thing i like to do is like tie these together i'll just twist them together. Next is the wig cap, but if my hair was damp, i would also use my new rag and there we have it. So next, i'm going to put on my wig and get ready to go so this lovely wig is my sensational wig um. I don't have the cute card because i lost her, but i will link all of the details about her down below yeah. That'S what she looks like i like the braids, though i like the braids. This isn't like a wig show-and-tell video, but i'm gon na show her a little bit off, so those are the three different ways that i get my hair ready to put on a wig. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did leave a thumbs up. If you want to see more content from me, please subscribe to my channel. I appreciate all the love and support that i have gotten and i'll see you guys in the next video bye.
