How To Apply A Lace Frontal + Wefts Part 1 (Making The Wig)

Everyone, its Morgan and today I want to do this very detailed and requested video, so I recently got this hair from Valencia rose and it is the Peruvian big-wave hair. I got four bundles and a frontal, so I wanted to. I wanted to film this tutorial on how to apply your lace front tool and the wefts, along with the front tool by yourself. Now, when you have a lace front tool, it's pretty much from ear to ear. Some people wear it behind their hairline. Some people wear on their hairline without glue just combs or whatever, but the way I'm gon na show you is with adhesive, then he said I use a safe grip and let me just show you what safe grip looks like this is what it looks like. I actually got this from a beauty supply store in Arizona, but you can find this online. You can pretty much find it anywhere. You don't have to use safe grip, but you can use any kind of license adhesive that you would like. I like to use this. One because it is a water-based adhesive, which means that it will go on as a cream and then it will dry clear. So you won't see that really shiny shininess that you see from most at lace. Adhesives um, like ultra whole, like they can get really really like messy. So I like to use this so yeah, I'm gon na show you guys how to apply. I have it all on the sides so that it can stay, and I can put my part anyway. I want to I just kind of have it like flipped over to the side here. So not only do I show you how to use the adhesive. I also show how to pretty much make a lace front wig with this with the hair. I'M gon na show you how to apply the lace so that, when you sew the West, it will line up perfectly to the lace front tool and that it will. It will match your head because you guys know my cranium is huge. So, like I got, ta have things that are kind of, like custom-made for me, so yeah, I'm gon na show you guys how to do that now to talk about the hair a little bit, because I know this may be like a two-part video, I'm not even Sure I don't know but talk about the hair a little bit. I talked to you guys before what I had in my hair, but it is the Peruvian big-wave and I have in two twenty-twos to twenty fours and a 16 inch closure. I do have some hair left over, so this is what the hair looks like. I had it kind of picked out, so this is what the hair looks like. This is the natural state of the hair it is curly is very, very curly. I think it's beautiful beautiful somebody in church today was like oh where'd. You get your hair from it's, so pretty um and i fairly enjoy it. The hair goes down the hair. It goes down but right there. So it's not really long, even though it's 24 inches, it is curly, so it is a little shorter, so yeah i have worn this overnight. This is my second day wearing the hair. I have it's just attached to my head. I have to wear it overnight and so far I haven't had any problems with the nape area. Everything has been pretty much good, so it's been holding up for a second day so far. Everything else is pretty much like a talked through, so that you guys know what it is that I'm doing. See you guys in another video bye, okay, hey guys, teach you guys how to apply a frontal, pretty much like a lace front wig and with the using a lace, frontal and wefted hair. First of all, you're gon na need like a um. Oh I don't have the I don't have a thing for it, but you're gon na need a like a wig cap. Not oh! This is not a wig cap. This is a I don't like a skull cap, but this one is like very stretched out. I like to have it stretched out for front duals just so. I have enough room to stretch if I need to okay, so this is it. My hair is just braided in the back, that's all so. If I was doing this on a wig or if I was doing this on somebody else, you probably bent a little bit easier and if you have someone else to do this for you, it would be a lot easier to do it by yourself. But everybody do that for me, so I'm gon na take my frontal here and what I'm gon na do. Is I'm gon na line it up to the front of my head here? Okay, like that, and as I have it be perfect because you're not gon na glue it on right now, but what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na take two duck pins like this and I'm going to clip it down and make sure it's attached to Your wig cap here, okay, so that goes there and kind of stretch it out so that it's nice and tight all right. So there you go, there's that all right, so the next thing you want to do is you want to gather all of your frontal hair here, and you want to get this out of the way and make sure okay, so you're gon na. Take all that - and I'm just gon na clip this, like this cuz you're gon na, be sewing down this back piece. Okay! So now I'm going to flip this camera so that you guys are gon na be able to see me sewing the back of this. To of the wig cap? Okay, all right, so I'm gon na turn my head around so that you guys can see me um so this down - and this is just like a curved needle and thread nothing fancy at all. So I'm gon na start in the middle and then I'm going to sew down on one side and then start in the middle again and it's it's sew it down. On the other side and that'll make it nice and tight. I would suggest you guys picking up the wig cap here, because, if not, you might be someone onto your braids and you don't want to do that because then you'll have to cut it and start over. But so that's why I am like picking it up. Hi baby you're just scared to mess out of me trays in here. So if you guys hear I'm I'm sorry but anyway, so now I'm gon na sew on this side and it does happen perfect because I'm gon na throw this on tile and I'm just gon na kind of neatly stitch it up. So you guys don't forget to stretch the lace back here because, if not it'll be like bulky, so you want to keep it nice and tight back here. So go ahead and stretch that not too much. But you can stretch it so that it'll be snug. All the way to the end of that reinforcement, lease and then you're gon na tie a knot at the end. Okay, alright! So now it's all sewed on. I don't know if you guys can see it all right. So it's also doing, and now I'm gon na take the entire thing off and I'm gon na put it on Kyle and I'll show you guys who Kyle is in a minute but um. I know you guys see a lot my make up stuff here, but um. So yeah I'm gon na, take it off make sure all the stitching is nice and neat. There'S no loose ends because it's hard to do it when you don't have a mirror and you can't really see alright guys. So this was Kyle, say hi Kyle his tattoo on his face and yeah. So he's just a plain mannequin and I shaved his head down so yeah. Okay, so I took off the wig and this is what it looks like here. So I'm just gon na put it on Kyle, just like I would on my own head, okay, I'm gon na flip him over and just check out the stitching and see how everything is see. There'S some loops here. So it looks pretty good. I don't see any major problems and it no looks pretty good, okay, so, okay, so I'm gon na take this back off and I'm gon na flip this and the purpose of me flipping. This is to to get a weft on the back of this, and what that's gon na do is that when I went to put this in a ponytail, you won't see any tracks in the back. Don'T text me, you won't see any tracks in the back so and it's not gon na be a lot. It'S just gon na be from where it starts you can see. This is where the lace is so it'll be from here. Just the back of the neck. To there, okay and that'll be the only left that I'm gon na be cutting. It'S not really good to cut left, as you guys know, all right. So what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na kind of put pull this up a little bit and the reason? Why is because you know of my big cranium that I need to have all the struts so putting it at the width of the head here? Will give it a stretch so that it won't be too tight back there? Okay, so I'm gon na take a 24 and I'm gon na unwrap. This is what it looks like okay, so I'm gon na so from here to there what it t pens do. Is they help the West to stay on to the mannequin head? Of course, when you're doing this on other people, you can't use it. Oh, I just stabbed myself. How do is I'll kind of measure it, and I it doesn't matter where you put t-pin, really cuz you're, not to move it but say I'll. Just put it like right over here.
