Ready To Wear Asymmetrical Bob | Wig Install | Ft. Julia Hair

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel so for today's video i switched it up a little and did a asymmetrical bob, and this hair is from julia hair i'll, have the link um in the description below, but this is what it looks like, and i really Really like it, the hair is actually really good. Um, it's nice and thick like not crazy, this, but nice and thick like you, get enough hair um for it to look like an actual ball like there's been so many times where i've gone to bob, and it's so thin, like you can't even like, doesn't look Like a bob like it looks really bad but look but look at this one. It can move and so soft and like shiny, i feel and yeah. I really like the hair so i'll have all the details of the hair um in the description down below and yeah. That'S pretty much it. I really do like the hair and it's a 13x4 and it's normally so i'm pretty sure it's like the brown, transparent, lace, type of thing and it actually works really nice. I like it. If you are a little lighter than me, it might not work the best, but if you are darker than me or around my skin tone, then it'll definitely work and yeah. That is pretty much it. If you guys want to see how i achieved this look and how i installed this hair then keep on watching. So i've already done the bald cap method um and did the foundation and everything - and here is the bob. So i've already bleached the knots and did a little bit of plucking, but it actually came pretty um pre-plucked, so i don't really have to do too much, and this is like that light brown type of lace, but it's super thin. So i don't mind it um. It'S like i'll, explain it like look at it like it's really really thin, and i do like this kind of lace. This is kind of like what medulla uses most of the time, like my previous videos, that was kind of the same lace, um and yeah. This is the hair, it's really nice and thick, which i like usually bob's, come like really thin. Sometimes so i hate that, but it's already nice and thick and it is an asymmetrical bob, so i'm pretty sure they've cut it like that. I might straighten it out. We'Ll see but yeah, i'm gon na put some foundation on here and then we'll go from there. So i didn't put too much um foundation so that it doesn't get too dark because the lace is already brown. So i could have literally gone away without putting anything on it yeah. Actually, i don't think i should have put foundation. I'M just gon na cut some lace off just because it's so long, i need to be able to see a little all right, there's lace! So you guys can see it's a little a little darker, but we can make it work definitely make this work. Okay. So now i'm just gon na play around with it and see where i kind of want the bob to start. I think around here honestly, not too close. Well, it looks close, but most of these are going to be baby hairs. So let me see that looks pretty normal now taking a little eyebrow pen or pencil, i'm just gon na mark where it's gon na start. So i went ahead and cleaned the area with some um alcohol, and now i'm going to be taking my ghost bond platinum, the darker blue and i am going to put about three to four layers, we'll just see how it goes, but about probably three to four Layers and yeah - that's pretty much it for this part, so so, okay, so i did about three layers and now i'm just gon na stick everything together all right. Now, i'm going to take my elastic actually first clip the hair away. I really like, where i placed it, i feel like it looks super natural, so i'm gon na take an elastic and um wrap around now. I'M gon na wait about five minutes and then i'll be back to cut the lace. Okay, so i'm gon na just um. Take off like the little dots and i'm gon na go close up to a mirror and just make sure i got all the lace off just because i can't see how, like the mirror, is really far, and i really can't see close up so i'll - be right. Back, okay, i'm so sorry about like the outside noises, but it's kind of warm in here and i needed the window open. But the next step is i'm gon na spray, the wig dealer melting spray and then wrap it up and then i'm just going to be straightening the hair while um. This is doing its thing. Oh okay! So that's doing its thing and i'm gon na first put some heat protectant and i'm using the silk elements mega silk. I really like it not too too much and then the straightener i'm using is the my favorite straightener ever and this is the type. Where did the name go, but it's the bay bliss pro um, the titanium one love it and yeah. I'M just gon na go ahead and straighten the hair okay, so the asymmetrical bob is happening. I'M going to take this off the elastic before i do. The part just so i can see exactly where i'm doing it. That'S not good. Okay, i'm gon na clean this up a little bit okay. So this is what we're working with, and it's looking really good um before i finish straightening i wanted to first. Do the part so, let's try and find apart. I can look around here. The lace ends around here, so i think, and then i can always change it up later, but for now let's do this. Okay. So while i was filming my card decided to be full, so i just had to go and figure that out, but now for the edges. Um, let me see so definitely gon na have this hair is really really soft. Like i don't know, if you guys can see, but this hair is really nice, i'm liking it. I want like a big size, burn type of thing, not that thick. I think something like that. I'M just gon na plug it out a little bit, but something like this back. Okay now i don't know if i'm going to have any front baby hairs, i don't think i will, but i'll definitely have some right here. The baby hair placement is so hard like you have to get it right or it just like makes or breaks the look. Okay, i think this much. I do want them a little bit bigger um. Let me see if this matches over here i'll do this. For now and then, if i need to fix it up, i'll fix it up, but i think i should be okay and then let me get some sideburns here and i'm also going to clip this back and then before i cut them, i'm going to use the Hot comb just to make sure they stay in this direction and not want to go and not want to go back, we're just taking the hot cleaned in so just like that, and please be careful, you guys don't burn yourself, you don't have to go too close And this is not necessary, but yeah all right. So now that i have them curled i'm going to go ahead and do the hairspray technique so just spray on the brush and then go directly on the hair, and i just kind of like tap out the excess, because you don't need too too much. I kind of want to don't put the hairspray like all over, only only like on the base, or else like you won't get that fluffy. Look like the hair is just going to be um, it's gon na be all like crunchy and you don't need the hairspray. Like on the bottom part, so now that there's no hairspray left anymore, i'm just gon na push it like that. The one thing about this technique is like, if there's any long hairs in it, it kind of just ruins. Everything like i don't know how this went in there - probably going to cut them shorter, but for the sake of the video, let's just keep going. This should do for now, but i definitely need to pluck it and fix it up a bit. But let's just keep going, this one looks way better. It'S probably because this is thicker, so i'm guessing, but still have to fix this one too. It'S okay! For now it's working, it's all good, okay. So this is what we're working with. I think i'm gon na lock it for a little bit, it's kind of cute and then i'll make sure like everything's even later on, but we're pretty much done. I'M just going to touch it up a little and i, like the part, all right and last step. Taking some concealer and a little brush and then i'm just going to put it right here and bam, we have done there's a better view of the asymmetrical bob. You can see cute i like it. I love the hair. If this hair was bad, then the asymmetrical bob would look bad, but it's a really nice thick, like bob like not crazy, thick, but it's good, like you have enough hair to work with. You can see the back it moves. I like it. Okay, so that is pretty much it for in this video.
