The Truth! | Alipearl Chocolate Brown Wig Review | Hair Hack

What'S up youtube, it's your girl, kayla cheyenne, and i am back with another video, as you can tell by the title today, we're going to be reviewing hair from ally pearl before we get into this video. I just want to say welcome back to all my ogs and, if you're new, to the channel, welcome for those of you who are new. My channel is basically fashion beauty, lifestyle, luxury hauls, etc. The girls that get it get it. So, as i mentioned before, this hair is from ally, pearl hair. I still give my honest review now for the hair info this week is a 24 inch body wave chocolate, brown, 5x5 hd lace, wig, it's a closure wig with 200 density. The pictures on my instagram and my instagram story so make sure to follow me on there and, as you guys can probably already tell this is not a hair tutorial. This is just a review. Your girl does not know how to install wigs, but i do have a hack for, and i will let you guys know towards the end of the video. What that hack is also. If you guys see me look down i'm reading my notes that i have because, like i said, we gon na get into this wig and i'm gon na give you guys a true and honest rating, so a bunch of things that i'm gon na be rating. This wig on is the lace how it looks after the knots are bleached how it takes curls and heat. If it's true to the length and the density that it says that it is the true the size of the wig cap, uh, shedding how much body and bounce it has, how soft and moisturized the hair is the smell and the overall look of the wig, and Mainly, for me, this is the most important part is if the wig is able to be glueless, because, like i said, your girl does not do hair and also, at the end, i'm going to give you guys, like overall rating, so from 1 to 10. How? I feel about the hair, if i missed anything i'll just add it in as i go, but that's the main things that i look for so when it comes to the lace, i give it a 10 out of 10. i'm going to insert a little clip over Here of like how the lace look as soon as i took it out of the box, this is before i dropped it off to my hair stylist and, if you're wondering why i drop it off to my hairstylist, whatever i'll tell you guys towards the end. But let's just get into the ratings so, like i said, lace is 10 out of 10., as you can see it literally like blended. In with my skin, you could barely see it now we're going to rate it on how it looked after the knots were bleached. So from the looks of it, after how i received it, i'll give it a 9 out of 10, but, like i said, i didn't do the bleaching process. But, however, i do see how it came out after she did what she had to do, and this is also like easy to cover up with makeup too. So what i do is like, regardless of how the wig looks, whether it's like perfect or not. I always put like makeup on you know the middle part or whatever just so. It can match my skin color for the bleaching of the knots. I give this a 9 out of 10. y'all. I almost forgot to show you guys how the length was compared to like my height, so i'm going to insert some clips right here, so you guys can see like how long the hair actually came like. I said it was 24 inches, but it looks pretty long on me like it looks way longer than the 24 inches excuse. The back because, like i said your girls doing your own hair, so i might have missed the little pieces to curl or whatever, but y'all get the point. That'S not the point. The point is that the hair came longer than i thought it was, and that's always a plus so for the length we're going to rate that a 10 out of 10.. So how well it takes heat, slash, curls um. I did curl the wig. However, i comb out the curls, because i don't like the tight curl look but um it takes curls really well. I curled it earlier, probably around like one o'clock, 130 ish and right now. It'S currently 602., my rating for the curls and how well it takes heat i'll, give it a 10 out of 10. i'll, probably try to do different styles with it like crimping or whatever, but you guys will just have to see that on my instagram. So the true the size of the wig cap, i'm almost positive that i chose a large wig cap. If i'm correct i'll, put it like right here or i'll put it in the description box, but i chose largest because i know like i might have a big head or whatever you know so i would say it fits my head perfectly. She was able to put it on, she wasn't struggling, it wasn't slipping off or anything. I suggest that you guys make sure that you measure your wig caps or like your head. They have a whole like measurement chart thing that you guys can look for when you go and order it. So for that i give it a 10 out of 10, because sometimes i've had wigs that were too small, but this wig was not too small at all. It fit my head perfectly and then we're gon na rate the shedding my hairstyle is like. I said she customized everything, but when i got home i curled it i combed through it. I probably curled it like, maybe two times just because i'm so picky with my curls. I was combing through the thing, a lot 10 out of 10. - i probably literally i'm not exaggerating, i might have seen like seven strands of hair the whole time. I curled everything. 10 out of 10 in my books. Next, what we're going to rate it on is how much body slash bounce we have. As you can see, it has a lot of body to it. It'S very bouncy. It'S not stiff stiff wear period. I absolutely love the balance and body it has to it. You know sometimes like when you turn your head and, like your hair is stuck like this. You don't have that you don't have to worry about that because it's heavy, but it's bouncy. At the same time, you know it's giving me life, i rate this 10 out of 10. I don't think it could have been better, then we're gon na rate, the wig on the amount of moisture, slash how soft it is. I don't know, but sometimes like you can get wigs that are dry and just it doesn't feel good to touch. But literally this is one of the hair companies that i feel like has soft hair. Before this video was even sponsored or before i started working with them, i literally bought hair from them before and i swore by them. So this is nothing new, the softness, i love it, it's moisturized and it doesn't feel like just dry and brittle. I can literally touch it all day and it still, you know, feel moisturized, so i give it a 10 out of 10 for that, because that's something i can't have no dry hair. You know what i'm saying: you're not supposed to put like oil in it, so it has to come moisturize itself. Next, we're going to get into the smell now. The smell on hair is like one of my biggest pet peeves. I did not have an issue with the smell. You know how you smell like the burnt hair, sometimes when you're curling it honestly that could be on me. That could be on me in the curling wand that i use i'll put a video of it right here, but this is the one that i use it's just from tj maxx, it's nothing like extravagant or whatever um just picked it up. While i was in line. That'S the one that i used to get these curls, but you could really use anything on this wig, like i said it's human hair, so you can use whatever you want, but back to the smell, so the smell after i curled it. You know it was like how all of my wigs smell just like you're, putting heat to a wig. I don't know it wasn't like a bad smell or anything. So i give it a 9 out of 10 because it was nothing new um coming out of the package. There was no smell to it, so that's a 10 out of 10 but, like i said all of my wigs smell, like your your burning hair, i don't know that's just how wigs are now for the overall look of the wig. I give it a 10 out of 10.. I give it a 10 out of 10 because i don't like big bulky. Wigs and, however, i do like the 200 250. You know percent density where it's thick, but it's not like you'll take that wig out, because you know it's not your hair. You know what i'm saying: it's not that bad! It'S not it's not like that. So i i give it a 10 out of 10 because you know we all like a little thick, hair or whatever, but we don't want to be called out because, like girl, you know dang well, you shouldn't have put that wig on like you're supposed to wear A wig not to make it look like a wig, but people know it's not your real hair, but it's not supposed to look like a wig. This is giving what it's supposed to give so the overall look. I give it a 10 out of 10, but i'm super excited to do different styles with this hair just stay tuned, because your girl's going to be switching it up and even though it's a body wave wig, i do feel like it'll be so cute. If, like you straighten, i don't put a picture of what i wanted to do. I might do that next time so we'll see, but i'm actually excited because overall this week it's like very versatile, 10 out of 10 for the overall look of the wig. Now my biggest biggest biggest rating, yet it's if the wig is able to be glueless. This is like if it's, if it doesn't meet my standards, i'm not going to get the wig, because i can't do hair, so it has to be glueless for me. To put it on and go 10 out of 10 hands down, like i said, i got y'all on the hack, i'm just gon na give you a rating and i'll move on, but i'm explaining why later and then for the overall rating of this wig we're gon Na give it a 10 out of 10.. This is not biased. Like i said, i told you what i'm rating it on the proof is in the pudding. You know what i'm saying is that how you say it? I think that's how you say it, but y'all know what i'm talking about. I love the color of the wig. I usually do like black wigs, but i wanted to get away from that because i love like the blondish, the brown, so i love the color. It'S not too boring for me because sometimes when you get like that brown hair, it's just kind of boring, but this is like a little more brighter. You know, so i feel like it'll, be good on, like everyone's skin complexion. I just really like this hair. So, like i promised you guys, i was going to tell y'all about my hack. This is for people who well actually it's for everybody, especially those who don't know how to do hair and want to wear wigs. This is why i stress that wig companies who have like really good quality hair - i stress that you guys get it from them, because it's literally so much easier to do yourself to do yourself. So what i do is when i get the hair. Let'S say this one: for example, i get it out the package like this and i booked an appointment for a closure wig install but before i message the hairstylist and make sure that they can do glueless, because if it's not glueless, you're still going to have to Know how to apply it with the glue and the glue just does not work for me. So what i do is i book my closure, wig and style appointment. The girl that i go to she already knows. I do glue this all the time so i booked my closure. Wig install, you know, i add the curls or whatever the styling little extra fees and her policy is like you drop it off the day before and you know she customizes it. She does hello magic or whatever. Then, when i come in for my appointment, she literally braids my hair up puts the wig on she sprays, whatever she uses and she puts it on. It'S like it's like a 30 minute process right, but it's glueless. So when i take it off, i literally can take it off like now, but put it on tomorrow, just with like either got to be freeze spray or the spray that she recommended. I'Ll put a picture right here of both i used to use the got to be free spray, but then she put me onto this one. I don't know what i like better, but i i usually use both of these just depending on how i'm feeling, but it's literally a lifesaver, because all you have to do now is once you have that wig customized to be glue is people that work out and Don'T know what to do with the hair, you can literally keep your hair in cornrows put a banana on a workout. Once you're done put the wig back on go about your day. You don't really have to worry about keeping the wig on. I don't really like sleeping in my wig, so it works out perfect. For me, i love the glueless. Look, i love just how easy it is to maintain it, and so let's say you have it for like two weeks right for my person. She has a policy like if she cut it like she customized it she'll touch up or wash it whatever. Literally, if you don't know how to do hair, you get the wig from a hair company like this uh closure wig by the way closure. Wigs are the way to go for me. That'S my opinion. I don't think that the 13x6 would be able to. You know be glueless, but i haven't tried it get a person who knows how to do wigs hairstylist, whoever have them customize it for you to be glueless. You have to say like okay, i want it to be glueless. So when you take it off, you can put it right back on. All you probably have to know is how to like brush your hair comb, your hair curl it maybe that's it, but all you do is the freeze sprays that i showed you about, get that and you got the stuff to lay your edges. I used the got to be gel or something like that. I put a picture right here. That'S what i use, but that's literally how i change my wigs all the time. That'S how i keep them up. I probably have like three wigs and i need to drop off to her, so she can, you know wash it do whatever i'm just not a wig person, i'm not a hair person. My mom always did my hair, so this being mature and having to worry about your hair is really ghetto, so i just drop it off to her my hair stylist. She takes care of it. I pick it up put it on, take it off when i need to so that's my little hair hack um. I wish i would have known a long time ago because i was always worried about like you know. Oh, what hair do i get, and i try to get like the i forgot, what they call it. They call it like the fake lace, whatever you don't even need that you just need someone who can get it customized and stuff like this. So if it's a closure wig from a good company like ali pearl, i highly recommend it. I feel, like everybody will be able to wear wigs, even if you don't know how to do hair.
