Perfect Summer Hair: Balayage Highlighted Jerry Curl Review & Install Ft. Hurela

So in today's video we are installing and reviewing this beautiful highlighted, ombre wig. If you care - and let's get started, i'd like to thank harella for sponsoring today's video now, let's get into the unboxing inside the box, i received some lashes, a wig cap, a makeup brush a velcro headband, a bonnet, a cotton headband and, of course, the wig. So i received this wig in 18 inches. This is a highlighted ombre jerry curl 13x5 by 0.5, frontal lace wig. I did receive this wig in the average cap size. Of course you receive your combs on the side, but you don't get one here at the top and i'm excited about that. But in the back you get your adjustable straps. Of course your comb in the back and you get the additional lace. This is what the wig looks like in daylight. It'S probably golden hour, i'm up pretty early, but anyway, up close, you can see. The wig is dyed so beautifully. The wig did have a slight chemical smell, and at this point i did not have any shedding all right. You guys, so i normally never talk through these things. I normally do like a voiceover, but today it's gon na be a little different, so i'm just putting my hair in a little bun. I don't have a darker cap today, so yeah i'd say these knots could be bleached, but i'm not going to bleach them. The hair is really really soft. I can't wait to kind of like wet it and break up the curls where it doesn't look so crispy girl, it's summertime, so we want to go lighter in the summer right. So i'm just going to cut off the additional lace here, i'm not going to cut off the lace in the back, because again i am i'm starting a poshmark account. Actually, let me just put this one real, quick with the lace on there. With the little bangs sister tell me, i tried to call you last night. You ain't answer the phone. The color looks nice on me. I didn't think it was gon na look nice on me. I should probably stop using my daughter's scissors. Okay, now that i have the lace cut, let me put it back on my head and see what happens. Oh, i don't know why i'm always shocked when a color actually looks good on me. I wonder what this will look like like combed out. Let me just go okay, so this is straight out of the packaging straight out of the packaging. I'M just combing the curls out to see what it is like. This is giving very much mary j blodge dynasty dynasty, studio 64, okay, so as i'm combing it out, i'm i am having some shedding. I just want to make make that known. I haven't laid the wig or done any of that. You know what this reminds me of remember: leela james, the artist, the music artist leela james. This reminds me of her hair, but mainly mary j blige, put some makeup on this, because it's a light, skinned wig cap, i'm out of my brown ones, so we're just gon na put some respect on my name right now. We see what it is curly and and it's cute, but i really want to straighten it and like blow it out adjustable straps in place. I love that it don't have that comb at the top. Okay, so clearly miss ma'am. It'S way down too far here: okay, okay, okay, i'm dangerous with some scissors in my hand; okay, okay, so i'm gon na put a little bit of spray here in the center. I don't know why i keep putting makeup on before putting these wigs on what is my problem, what is girl put what put the wig on then the makeup wig then makeup, i'm gon na get it one day. Okay, i got this blow dryer from marshalls and the last time i used it. The last time i used it. I told you guys i wasn't sure how it would blow like my natural hair out. I used it once i'm here to tell you it's not enough power like the air doesn't force out as quickly as i would like. So i will only use this on my wigs okay baby. It'S amazing! When you shock yourself, i tell you. I definitely don't want any baby hairs this time around. It'S definitely very soft and fluffy. I like that about it. Okay, so, as you can see, i didn't cut much. I just kind of like got rid of some of those scraggly ends. So, let's wet this girl down, i think it's really cute, as is but something's telling me to blow it out blow it out so yup. I knew it was gon na look better straight. Yes, ma'am wow! I love it. I love it curly and i love it straight, which one do you guys like? Do you like the straight side, or do you like the curly side like this is definitely vacation, ready, hair like where are we going, but i'm not going to straighten it out? I'M not going to straighten it out. I love how it feels straight. It'S so soft soft soft for days. I was trying to wet this side back down pretty well, so it can revert and i have to get it pretty wet for it to revert. But as you can see, it does revert back all right, so, let's just make sure this girl on the top is flat. I just feel like putting, i feel like putting on a bathing suit and hitting up somebody's beach. These highlights are on point major points. Major points for the highlights this color is like tailor made for my skin tone like it is awesome. I love it so much, i'm so happy the hair reverted because you guys, as i was spraying it. I was real nervous. I ain't gon na lie. I was so nervous, i'm like, oh, my god. It'S not going to revert post editing april here, so i wasn't happy with how the hair was looking day one so the next day i went ahead and plucked some more of the hairline and also where the part line was at and then underneath. I added my true match powder in c8 to the lace seal that in i sprayed it with some got to be glued and then once that dried, i went ahead and applied it back to my head and i applied it this time without any makeup. On my face, i know i said i wanted to wear this without baby hairs, but i wanted to pull a little bit out just to see how it would look and honestly you guys, i think it looks better. So what you see me using on my edges is just 100 percent aloe gel to help me lay my baby hairs after that, i'm going to spray this hair back down with some water, followed by some mousse after i've added my mousse, i'm going to go back In at the top with some aloe gel, this is just to make sure the hair look as flat as possible at the top okay. So you see the difference, see how one side has like a hump and the other is flat. I'M gon na do the same thing on the other side. I love this wig, mainly because of the color, i'm not even going to front on you like they nailed this color for us brown, girls, okay, poolside ready she can straighten. As you can see she straightens beautifully, i love the texture and the shine. The length is perfect for me. I don't like super super long hair, i'm not afraid to review long hair, but i'm not walking the streets with like hair down to my butt crack. If it's not really my hair, the hair was so manageable. It'S super soft, it curls like nobody's business. I love like this jerry curl. Look. The only thing i did not like about this wig was the shedding, and i find that with highlighted, wigs like this or jerry curl type of wigs, because they do have to perm and process the hair. I do end up with some shedding when i receive the hair, so i wasn't surprised that i had some shedding with this hair, not at all they nailed the highlighting and the low lighting they nailed it. They nailed it with this one. Oh, my god, i'm like i'm obsessed with this hair y'all, can't tell me that i'm not poolside ready. All i need is a bathing suit.
