Lace Part Wig Repair | Under $5

Hey guys, it's Jen, I today I have this lace person, thetic wig, that I accidentally tore some holes in. As you can see, I tore three holes in the middle of the lace by plucking it too rough, so I'm gon na be showing you a quick and easy fix for damaged lace. I'M gon na be using this Swiss lace net, which is a 15 by 15 inch piece of lace that you can use to make wigs closures, friends holes or do repairs like I'm about to show you you can get it for like $ 3 at your local Beauty, supply store and you'll also need some needle and thread. So what I'm doing is measuring out how much of the lace I'll need. So you should cut out a little bit bigger than wherever the damage is. And then you just sew that down to the threaded part of the wig cap, make sure you don't sew too deep through the wig so that it doesn't affect how the hair looks underneath and also make sure you don't sew too tightly one because you'll easily tear The least and two you want it to be as flat as possible with no wrinkles. This is stretchable lace. So when you're sewing it down, you want to squeeze the part and sew it close together, so that it'll actually make the hole appear closed. Rather than look like you just put another layer of lace underneath the hole you should use pins to hold it where you'll be sewing, it just to make it easier, but I didn't have any once you're done. You can then just cut the excess lace and any long pieces of thread, and that's it. So this is how it looks now once you're done.
