SMOOCHES! ❤️

What'S up my beautiful people and welcome back to my channel, i'm ashley if you're tuning in for the first time - and you guys already know we about to do a beautiful sleigh on this kinky curly lace wig, she does come courtesy of curls curls and i literally Off camera just washed and conditioned her with my aussie moist, shampoo and conditioner, and we jumped straight into the mannequin head. So you guys know my videos are start to finish very beginner friendly videos. So i'm going to show you how i pretty much get the look. You guys seen in the very beginning of the video, as well as in the thumbnail super simple and easy so that you guys can follow along again we're going to be going with the mannequin head. So all you see me doing is securing the wig on the mannequin head and tripod with these t pins. These are key. A lot of people forget to purchase these when they um, you know order their wig heads i'll. Have them linked down below you just pretty much put them in different parts of the lace that way, it'll make sure that the wig does not move. We went ahead and secured a center part. A rat tail comb is key for this to make it super super super neat, and now i'm going to pull out what i'm going to designate as baby hair. You can kind of twist that around and put it in a pen so that it doesn't get mixed up. You guys know me, i keep it very beginner friendly, but i did do a little bit of tweezing along the hairline again, i'm trying to give you guys a little bit more of a intermediate um sleigh. I want to give you guys a little bit more variety. So that it's not literally just straight out the box every single time, i want to do more popular hairstyles on here, trendy hairstyles and a little bit more detail customizations. As far as the hairline go, i'm not gon na. You know give you guys this really hard assignment. I'M gon na keep it super simple and beginner friendly. Just get you guys, a nice pair of um, you know sharp tweezers. You can get some at target, walmart your local cbs, walgreens and, of course, i'll have some on amazon. You can purchase for the lolo in the description box after i tweezed the hairline, i did go in with the wax stick, which you guys know. I love, and i just wanted to flatten out that lace area i like when this area is flat, just because it's going to make it look like it's growing out of the scalp a little bit more, it's nice to leave a little bit of texture. So you probably don't want to straighten it to the point that it's straight, you still want to see that wave or curl pattern so that you know it blends in with the length of the hair. But again i just didn't want it to look like auntie or grandma's wig. I wanted it to look very, very neat and sleek, which is why i did the step. If you like it to be a little bit more voluminous in the parting and lace area, you can definitely just skip this area and don't forget the hairline as well. We want the hairline to emulate, melted and flat and sleek again so we went in and you guys see i speed through this, so i definitely go in with plenty of heat passes, so definitely definitely use a heat protectant and take your time that's the beauty in Working with a wig head is that you can definitely go slow. You can take your time. You can definitely see your work and, if you get frustrated just put on my youtube video for a step-by-step look, here's a look at the inside construction of the cap. Couldn'T forget that part, because a lot of times you guys, if i don't include it, you guys are like what does it look like on the inside it's a 13 by 4. I want to say no, no, it's a 13 by 6.. I have the exact details in the description box, for you guys so you'll know exactly all the dimensions and length and texture and all of that and now i am working on the length of the hair. So, as i mentioned, this is a kinky curly wig. It emulates african american hair texture, so with that the maintenance of it all and you know getting the curl pattern how you want it is definitely very similar. I did go in with this tresemme conditioner that i've been having for a while and trying to get rid of. I really like it because it definitely will moisturize the hair and give it a little bit of slip, and i definitely went in with the demon brush to kind of clump the waves and curls, and you guys seen how well um that helped out with that. Now. I'M going to cut off the excess lace. This is a step you can do on your head, but if you are a beginner, i recommend you doing it on a wig head. That way, you can see exactly where you're cutting, and that way you won't accidentally cut into the hairline. If you don't want to, sometimes people will have like a widow's peak or just different hairline shapes, and some people like to like cut into the lace to make it look more realistic for their hairstyle. I went literally right in front being sure to still leave out that baby hair area so that i don't have to re-part it out. The hair looks absolutely beautiful and i love that it has a nice custom cut to it. So it's going to look so amazing on you can see already how gorgeous and luscious the curls are. So i'm going to work on making sure the wig fits my head again. I cut the excess lace off um, while the wig was on the wig head, but as you guys can see, it still fits a little bit big, which is a good thing. This wig is made to fit the biggest of heads as well as the smallest of heads. So since my head is on the smaller side, i'm going to go ahead and cut up a little bit of lace around the ear, and this is going to help the wig to fit my head like a glove. But if my head was bigger, i would not have to cut that excess lace off. But again you don't want to have a bigger head than me and get the wig and it doesn't fit it's too short or too small. So i'm happy that it's made for a one size fits all and, of course you just go in and customize it to whatever your head size is. Can you guys see how beautiful the hairline is? I tweezed it very minimally and you guys can see it blends. So well not to mention the color look, how much that matches my complexion and i did not add any kind of color to the lace i literally washed and conditioned it, but i didn't add any lace. Tint powder foundation, nothing! It just naturally blends with my complexion, which is absolutely amazing. I'M going to go ahead and bond her down as a non-glue install. I did use the bed head, which i love so much and i'll have it linked in the description box, and the great thing is that, because this wig fits like a glove, i was able to do it in two sections. Usually i do the center, then i'll do one side than the other side. Today i just went ahead and just did half of it um at once blow dried until it was completely dry on a cool setting, and then i did the opposite side. Now i'm going to go in and trim that baby hair down. As short as i want it, i would say, maybe about an inch. Usually i can go even shorter than this i'm going to cover it in mousse. So that way, i can work in my way to basically create baby hair, and this is the part that you can definitely take your time with i'm going to cut through, because i definitely take my time with my baby hair. So there was a lot of parts of just going over the same thing over and over that i kind of cut out, but don't feel discouraged if you don't get it right. The first time i do baby hair on a daily basis, and still there are days when it takes me, like 20 minutes 30 minutes to do baby hair so just understand that it's all an art and all the craft. If you get frustrated just you know, skip it and go back to it later, put a scarf around it to help it to like bond down. There are different things you can do, just don't get frustrated off camera. I went ahead and added an elastic band and let this stuff for about five to ten minutes and the hairline is completely bonded down and looking so good, okay guys. So this is what the wig looks like on. As you guys can see. I went ahead and washed her. I actually watched her um shampooed and conditioned her off camera and you guys seen the whole like prep on the mannequin head process. I put her on and i bond her down and i think it came out amazing, but we are not quite done yet. So i love the way this looks, as is i really love the texture and the cut. I feel like it's complimentary. It'S one thing to send out a wig that is a beautiful kinky texture like so, but it's an even better step up when you can get a custom cut like so it gives very natural. It gives very much a vibe and i can definitely definitely definitely see myself rocking this one all year around because it just gives black girl magic, but i'm going to take it a step up and i'm going to go ahead and do a half a pack down. Okay malfunction, but i'm going to take some a couple of rubber bands. My wax stick that is broken because it's almost done i'll pick that up in a second and my hot comb, we're going to go ahead and work this into a half up, half down situation. This is pretty much the final look. I think it came out amazing. I went ahead and did a half up half down cool thing about this. You can twist this really tight and do like a really like tight twist better than what i'm doing, and you can actually scoop this into a this. Isn'T a good representation, but you can, you know, make it into a bun, and that is really cute, and i love how soft and fluffy the hair is. As far as the hairline goes, i was also able to execute that very well. If you do not like baby hair, you can definitely remove that and take that option away. So, as i mentioned, this one did come from curls curls and this is their packaging and i love that it's like a pool drawer to get inside and, of course, you have some goodies in there. So for this one they gave the just adjustable elastic band and it has that bra, strap, um hooks so that you can um pick your length and adjust it. It also has a traditional elastic band and this one which doesn't have the hook. So you have two options and then it also has some one comb and then like two wig clips in there as well. So you have a whole little care package and then, of course, i gave some brown wig caps, which is right on cue, because these match my skin perfectly, as well as like a care and instruction, my manual, which shows you everything. You need to know about. Your beautiful wig also, if i did not mention this one, is a lace front wig in the length 16 inches. The curl pattern is kinky curly and they pretty much describe it as a 3c 4a texture, which you guys seen when i was combing it out, um and then also my cap is a size small and i did notice that when i put the wig on it, Actually fit me like a glove, it was very, very nice which, when you have a good cap, it always fits really good in the back. If you've ever had a big wig that was too big, even if you bond it down and it looks good in the front it'll kind of like lift and feel a little bit too loose in the back. So i'm happy this one fits snug. You'Ll always get a better um look and outcome when the wig actually fits your head, especially along the hairline. So if you lasted this far in the video go ahead and give me a thumbs up, comment below and let me know which hair tutorials you would like me to see, i want to start doing some different things and like executing different instagram, maybe hairstyles you see. I thought we're all on social media on a daily basis, and so you'll see this person come out with a new hairstyle, arrogant, taste laid it this way. I want to be able to bring that so that it just gives you a little bit of a different fun variety on this channel. So let me know, if that's a series you guys want to see from me. Also, let me know if you guys want me to start you guys from the beginning and do like the how to bleach the knots how to delays and all of that, i'm definitely open to doing that, for you guys as well. I'M ashley, b deck. If you are tuning in for the first time, don't forget to subscribe and share this video with your friends and as always i'll see you in the next one smooches
