Mongolian Kinky Curly Virgin Hair Maintenance

Hi, ladies as promised, what i'm going to do today is show you a quick um maintenance, video for your um kinky curly virgin hair textures. This happens to be mongolian, kinky curly, which mongolian tends to be a thicker texture um, but it looks really pretty when it's done and everything so as you can see right now. This is not the natural state um i've had this wig i made god months ago. So it's been in a draw my hair draw for some months now and i just took it out so i'm gon na wash it and everything i'm gon na just do it in the shower, but um before you wet it or anything when it's kind of been Sitting for a while or you haven't done anything to it, what i use to comb it out is this um wide tooth or some people call it a shampoo comb. Okay, it's really good for these type of tight curl textures um to get the tangles out and everything and, as you can see, it gets it out, but it doesn't kind of like ruin the the curl okay. So i used this and combed out the whole head, which this wig is um, four bundles and obviously a closure um. What i do for my closure, i'm going to show you the inside of it i'll, have some pictures but um. Basically, my hair is braided in cornrows all back, but i do have very slim perimeter, braids um around the perimeter of my head, so i sew it down onto the perimeter. The wig that i made. What i also do is um a top in between two of the tracks up at the top i kind of just separate um, the hair. I don't know if you can see it, but what i'll do is i'll just go through with my needle and thread and just also sew down the wig to the braid underneath the cap. If you can see it, i can't see it when i'm doing it, but i can feel my way through it pretty well and what that just does is because i have so much hair. It tends to be heavy. So when i put my closure down, i don't want it like pulling or having tension going to the back. So that's why i'll go in between two of the tracks somewhere at the top and just um needle and thread it. You know just loop: it loop! It loop it just to give it some. You know some more um to secure it at the top okay, because when you have a lot of bundles like all my wigs are like four or more bundles, it gets really heavy um, not for my head so much, but just if you're, you know, if you Have closures and stuff like that or using combs to tie it down um what i do to lay my closures. A lot of people ask. First of all, i do have bleach knots. This one got bleached a little bit too much and when i say that it's you know, some of the hair is very, very very brown um it kind of leaked through, but i figured because the hair is such a big hair and big texture. It'S okay! I'M not gon na worry about it, um because it doesn't show as much as it would if i had straight hair, so i just leave it, but what i do for the very very, very edge of my closure is, i use i was using the 30 second Lace closure glue, but it doesn't last. I have oily skin and i sweat a lot so i had to find another um lace glue. So i found this bmb. Sorry, the bmb super lace, glue um. This works very well. It actually lasts much longer than the 30. Second glue, it costs a little bit more and you can't really find it at all the beauty supply stores, but it works really really good. My lace, um closure is laid down really really flat and it won't budge. You know i usually do this uh apply the closure glue before i get in the shower and everything it's waterproof. It won't come out or anything. I just obviously don't douse this area with water, but um when i come back i'll show you the this is the before i'll. Show you, the after, after washing it and i'll, show you my products that i put in to just get back my curl and maintain my curls so stay right there i'll be right back all right, i'm back! So this is the same mongolian kinky, curly wig, that i showed you before i just washed. It conditioned it and gave it some leave-in conditioner treatment to get my curls back and all that other good stuff. So, as you can see, the difference between you know having it dry and combing it out with the once again shampoo comb that i used um then going in the shower and just kind of i don't put the water completely over my whole head, because i do You know glue down my lace, um closure, so i just kind of hold it in pieces and let the water run through it so um. This is the shampoo and conditioner that i use. This is from the cream of nature. Argan oil, moroccan lime and the shampoo is sulfate free. It'S very important for virgin hair to use sulfate free products because you don't want the oil um. Excuse me, the salts and stuff: that's in sulfate stripping the virgin hair, it's natural oils and stuff, okay, because it will make the hair really really dry, but this is by far my favorite brand, the argan oil. It'S like the best. I'Ve never had anything like it. I use it on my natural hair also, and it just makes every hair i put it on so soft, very, very soft. So after i shampoo and condition it, and when i shampoo the hair. Once again, i hold it in sections and i just use a very little bit of shampoo. You know like you would, and i just kind of massage it through. I don't do any combing or brushing while the hair is wet. I just massage it through and then let the water rinse it out. I do it in two sections. I just kind of part it down the middle, not part it, but you know separate it with my fingers and i'll do one side. Then i'll. Do the other side? Okay! So once i do the shampoo, i then do kind of the same thing with the um intensive conditioning treatment, the conditioner, but with the conditioner. What i'll do is i'll leave it on for, like you know, five to ten minutes, just depending you know, first i'll just put the conditioner on then usually i'll go into. You know, put my car doing my clarisonic on my face or something like that. Just to kill a couple minutes, and then i wash it off that conditioner is the truth. My daughter has natural hair and i use it in her hair and her hair comes out as soft as my virgin, hair bundles or even my curved hair with that conditioner. It'S the best so after i shampoo condition and wash all of that out um once i get out the shower, i just towel block the hair dry once i do that the next product i use is also from. Let me get the bottle that has some minutes. You can kind of see what it looks like um, argan oil, same cream of nature, argan oil, moroccan line. This is the strength and shine leave-in conditioner. As you see it comes in kind of two consistencies. It looks like uh some kind of oil-based thing at the bottom and then a creamy um liquid at the top. It says to shake to activate so once you shake it up. It just kind of looks like that. It'S not oily, though um. It does give a little bit of shine, so what i kind of do is just kind of spray all over not to douse it, but just you know to get it all through. So this is what i use um after my shampoo and conditioner sticking with the cream of nature, argan oil and you can use other products. This is just what works for me last product i used to give back my curl. Is this moroccan curling perfection defining green from the organic slime? This is my top top top top curly hair product. Okay, this i actually use um. I can use it almost every day or every other day or as needed when the hair just needs a little bit of a touch up. Your um leave-in conditioner is the bomb and, after your leave-in conditioner this this curling treatment. As you can see, all of my curls really really really bounce back. It'S not tangled anymore because, as i told you, i had to sit in a drawer for months, but after my um comb out with the shampoo comb, it was. You know it was kind of straight looking just frizzy, but it's not frizzy anymore. The curls are very defined, as you can see. Um all the curls are in tags, and it's so pretty. I love it all right, so that is my um kinky curly hair regiment for maintaining my kinky curly hair. Now again, but every day you can get up and just kind of use, a leave-in conditioner and the um curly define cream. You don't want to use this every every day. Let me back that up because what'll happen. This does leave some buildup on the hair. So it's not something that you want to use every single day, but this is most certainly something you can use every single day and not have any problems with build up. Both of them will leave their hair really really soft okay, so that is my mongolian kinky. Curly, maintenance, video, good luck, everybody! I'Ll do another video to show you what the inside of my wigs look like. I don't have any clips in the front which i do for my straight hair on wigs but, as i said, it's just sewn on to the perimeter.
