Start To Finish Wig Install !! | Half Up Half Down Frontal Tutorial | Westkiss Hair

What'S up youtube, it's your girl, jada joney, and i'm back with another video, as you already see by the title today, i'm going to show y'all how i got this half up, half down with this west kiss hair. This hair is 26 inches or maybe 28. The specs will be in the description box below, but this is one of my favorite wig brands, the laces bomb, the hair is bomb and yeah, let's get into it, let's get into it. So, of course, i bleach and pluck the knots as always, and i'm starting off with my ball cap, to do the ball cam method, all you do is start off with got to be spray and you just spray the cap to your head. So it here me personally, i like to put the makeup on before i cut the cap. Some people do it after, but i do it before. I actually cut the cap, so here i'm just going in with some alcohol to fully ensure that the glue sticks to my head, because sometimes we have oil or makeup on our skin and i'm just trying to make sure that it's no makeup oil on my skin And yeah here i am just measuring the wig, making sure the lace in the cap measures up and seeing. If i need to cut any cap or cut any lace and y'all just going to see me like cut my ear tabs and i'm basically going to start cutting up some lace because it doesn't line up, so you just want to make sure you're measuring everything up And all that different stuff. So now you see me going in with my ghost bun um. I think i only did one layer this time. I didn't want to do two layers, but i'm just going in with my ghost spine and of course, you're going to use your popsicle sticks to smooth it out and make sure that it's flat - and you know it's thicker and not you know so thick but yeah. That'S just what i'm doing right here, smoothing the glue out and making sure that it looks you know somewhat decent um and yeah i like to go. I was actually running out of glue and i was getting frustrated because i was like bro. I know i didn't use all my glue like that, but i bought a new one now, but uh yeah, i'm just putting the glue on my wig and on my cap on my cap and on my skin and yeah. So you want to make sure you thoroughly go over the glue and make sure it's flat so that it will dry correctly. So what i'm just doing now is blow drying it. I used to then use the blow dryer, but the blow dryer just helps for the process to be quicker, and i don't like waiting so here i am just placing my wig into the glue when it's dry. You know what i'm saying it has to be. Wait till it's clear to let it dry um, but don't let it overly dry, because then it's not going to really stick, how you want it and i'm just placing the wig into the glue over time. I learned like they used to say: don't use your fingers, but honestly y'all since i started you know getting kind of good with wigs. I'Ve learned that using your fingers really doesn't do anything. You know bad, they used to say. The heat from your fingers makes the glue do something, but honestly it helps to melt the wig into your skin. So i would say, use your fingers to press the wig into. It also use the comb, but i use my fingers initially because it just makes it go all the way in so now i'm just blow drying to fully ensure that the wig is into my head. So it'll look like a scalp, you feel me and yeah. That'S just what y'all see me doing now, i'm about to go in and add just a tiny bit of glue under that cap. Well under the lace, because i missed some of the hair and i didn't want to cut the hair off. So that's what y'all see me doing right here, just a smidge of glue, because i didn't fully place the glue i didn't put enough glue in that area, so yeah nothing wrong with that. I would rather put too little than too much because you put too much you're gon na have that white cast around your hairline and it's not gon na be cute, so so so okie dokie. So next step you're going to want to tie your hair back or whatever you're just going to cut the lace off i like to use a straight razor. I just think it's more easier than using scissors. You can use a sheers or something, but this is to get the perfect. You know, lace cut, and so that's what i'm doing it makes it jagged and it makes it look like a scalp like it should and yeah. That'S just what y'all see me doing. Cutting the lace off hey y'all, so this is me starting to do my baby hairs on camera, but the lights be just too bright for me to look in the mirror and do my baby hairs at the same time so and show y'all at the same time. So what i did for y'all was, i just changed the angle. Of course, the lightning isn't as good, but this just helped me, you know be able to look in the mirror, but still show y'all what i'm doing at the same time, because i know there's some videos where i just completely skipped baby hairs, but i didn't want To leave y'all hanging plus, i did my baby hair is good this time, so i decided just to put my camera right there and show y'all what i was doing. It'S really simple, like it really takes time like baby hairs, are trial and error. Every time you do it, they come out different, but yes, i'm just swooping them just like. I would do my real baby hairs just swoop them, make them look decent and leave them alone, so yeah y'all just going to see me doing them and i'm using got to be gelled. Um got to be spray and then i'm blow drying them when i'm done. Swooping them and that's going to make them stay and not look so wet do so so do do okay. So for my part, i'm just going in with this little concealer. I, like my part, to look dang near perfect, so you know i'm just going in to make it you know be very defined. Then i'm going to go in and blend it out. Then i'm going to go in with my permanent marker and clean it up a little bit just so it doesn't look too, you know fake, and i did get a little bit on the hair, so that's just to clean it up and make it look right and Who, who you know slayed for the guys literally? So this is a few days later, i'm about to put the hair up. I just got the you know. I don't know what made me want to put my hair up half up half down, but i get tired of wearing my hair, the same way all the time so uh. Originally, i didn't wear my hair like this. I was wearing the side part, but i was like. Let me try. Let me just try, so what i'm doing is just brushing the hair up separating the hair and seeing what hair that i want to. You know put up, and so what really made this look come together. Was this edge? Stick y'all, this edge. Stick is what made the hair you know literally, do what i wanted it to do. So what y'all see me doing? It'S just going in with the edge stick and then hot combing it, and it's literally making it go into place. It'S making it melt it's making it look like a scalp, literally i'm just going in with more and more of this wax stick just fully making it. It does make it a little greasy, but i swear it makes it lay like so bomb it makes it lay so long. It looks so good and yeah, but just make sure that you're hot coney, while you're doing this, the hot comb and the wax together is what's going to make it come together literally, so we all know how to put a ponytail in hopefully um but yeah. This is just me getting the tightest ponytail i could get it wasn't as flat as i wanted to, but i just put a scarf over it and it made it completely flat because i wanted it like stuck to my hair flat like this is my hair flat, But it did look good all in all, so that's just the ponytail and y'all. I really did good with this wig i was so excited. I did end up going in because it looks like i over plucked. I went in with a little bit of makeup and filled in the very front because i cannot stand like the look of super duper overplugged. I like over plucked a little bit, but not like od so yeah. I did go in with some makeup, but dishes is me making a little bun, because i thought that would be really cute super girly and just bomb like period.
