My 36 year old self is rocking this style. Okay, won't, hey y'all! Welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, kyra shawn. So today's video is brought to you by her given hair, they're kind of sending me another unit to review for you guys. It is also another edition of wigmas, so that means i'm collabing with another wig bae and she goes by the name of miss chrissy check out my sister cousin slaying. Okay, let me tell you something right now: y'all. She is one to watch for. Okay, when i say it, i mean it hop on it. She has been slain and grinded in these youtube streets and she is sure to give you guys the looks so make sure after my video you go ahead and check her out. I will put her video linked down below. We are both giving you guys. Some looks for the holidays, they could be in your budget or they may be more of a wish list. I don't control your purse strings. Okay. So before we get into my look, if you are here from her channel first of all, how you doing make sure if you're new to the channel you go ahead and subscribe and smash that notification bell, so you don't miss anything else. Coming up also give this video a thumbs up. If you want to see more videos like this in the future, let's go: oh, oh, hey, uh! Okay! So, like i said this unit comes to us from her given hair. This is their spice up. Your life lace front unit, you can choose the color for your unit, so burnt sienna or golden ombre. I got the golden ombre and you can also choose your length 16 or 18 inches. I got the 18 inches for me. This unit does come with the two combs across the front, one comb in the back and adjustable straps. It does have the adjustable elastic band in the back. So if you want to use that to make this unit glueless, you can definitely do that. The unit cap size only comes in a small or medium. You guys know my head is swollen every day, so the medium cap size is what i got and she is a little short on the size based on how i have her on my head, but i also think that's because i'm wearing the elastic band under my Unit, even though i did spray her down okay, i still put the elastic band on just for extra security. So normally, when you wear the elastic band in your unit, it does pull back on your sides a little bit, so it may be. A struggle to you know, pull that forward when you're trying to glue it down. So my advice to myself, okay, is to take the elastic band off. If i plan on spraying this unit down - okay, i was so lazy and taking that off, i just i left it as you started to put down, i did go in and define my curls, because this is a curly unit. I was taking some notes out of my playbook from my girl, natural joy, aka cherelle, as well as miss naturally mary and my girl, brittany, aka, the hearts and cake90. They have really informative videos on how to go and define your curls. I don't have the exact products that they use. I just kind of used what i had on hand, so i just went in a wash and condition my unit, and that was my cantu shampoo and conditioner that i got from walmart. I also went in as you saw and used my garnier fruity sleek and shine the frizz serum and the leave-in conditioner, and then i went in with my brush that i got from. I believe i got it from walmart, maybe target to kind of get the curls kind of popping. I let it air dry for about an hour, and then i put her on my head and then i diffuse the curls the rest of the way. The diffuser that i use is from amazon. It'S 15, nothing crazy, very affordable and yeah, and i think the end result is actually really nice. I'M really proud of myself y'all i did i did it y'all i made the curls popping. I was going to wear the hair all down, but for the look that i wanted, i knew that i wanted more of, like you, know, an updo style. So, that's why i did the little half up half down ponytail and then i cut some little tendrils right here in the front to give me like a little childish. Look it ain't childish. But you know it's cute. It looks young okay, it's a very young style, but i think it looks good okay, my 36 year old self is rocking this style. Okay, won't! I did it, i did it, i'm so proud of myself. I did get a little bit of shedding with this unit when i did the wash as well as the um detangling. I don't got my little necklace on oh dang. Let me see, i feel weird without my necklace y'all. I feel weird. I don't like that. I don't feel like putting it on okay, whatever i did get a couple of snags in the back um as well as the hair didn't really like when it dried down it just kind of dried down pretty straight. Let me see, let me wet that back up and see if she'll curl back up there. She go okay. So i guess it was just two: no no she's. Not oh! Let'S see, let's try this again. Let'S try this again. There she go. Okay! I can see her. I can see her getting a little curly cue in there. Let'S see there, she go okay, she's a little dry, but it's okay. It'S okay! I got i got ta get back, i got it back. I got it back. I did have some tangling with my unit when i took her out the pack. You know to wash it and everything, but i think that's because how the unit was packaged up. You know it comes folded up and things like that, even with that during the wash. I still didn't get that much shedding so again that tells you the quality of the hair, her giving hair has some of the highest quality hair that you're going to find in the wig community today. So that is why you're going to pay. You know the big dollars for that quality. Okay, when i say big dollars, i mean big dollars, money money, but these units will last you years. I know people who have had their unit for five years where they do that at here. But you know that's personal preference. Okay, i ain't mad at it she's giving me. Let me keep my hands out of it, because if i, if i keep touching it's gon na get frizzy, i don't want it to get frizzy. I want my curls to pop ooh hands anonymous. This is how that hairline is looking on me. I feel, like it looks very, very natural like what it comes pre-plucked with bleach knots, so i don't have to do anything to this unit. Besides, you know define my curls: do y'all see how this is sitting on me, i'm not mad at this y'all. I am not mad at this at all. I was i'm surprised. I'M surprised, i did good. I did good y'all, but just so you know, textures like this do take a lot of work. Okay, this took me, i would say about start to finish about an hour. Okay, if you don't have an hour for your hair, this may not be for you, okay, but if you got some time, then go ahead and check her out shout out one more time to her giving her sending me this unit.
