Kinky Straight Tape In Install On Twa & Style With Flexirods | Ywigs

Aren'T y'all so sorry for the echo i am in the bathroom, but um we are going to try this tape in install um. I previously wash conditioned and put leave-in conditioner um in my hair, and i just twisted it up so that um it can dry overnight and then we're gon na blow dry it, but the hair is from y wigs. So with the hair, we get extra little tape. If you want to reinstall them, but i did get three bundles of 16 um and these are the natural color kinky straight. This is basically what the three bundles look like next to each other, very full um and, like i said, 16 inches. So it's not too long, but not too short, and the bundles were individually wrapped with a rubber band and individually packaged as well as you guys can see. Um here is the tape in sector um. So i'm pretty much going to prepare my hair to install these and then we're just going to make a new review and then i don't really know what style i'm going for, but we're just going to wing it. I'M trying to decide if i'm going to do like a natural hairstyle for my girls, who um see the t, the tape and trim, but don't necessarily want to straighten their hair or possibly just doing a more sleek type of style. But y'all know i'm always for the curls, so i don't know yeah. So i'm going to take off my body and we're going to blow dry my hair and section everything off so that we can just hop right into it. My hair is pretty much fully shrunk. I twisted it last night um, so i'm just going to blow dry each section and i'm going to use my revlon blow drying brush um yeah. Now before i get started, i'm gon na spray in my style factor heat protection spray just a little bit because i already have product and all that stuff in there so um we just gon na hop into it now y'all will see that the hair in the Back is way longer than my hair in the front um, because i have more blonde in the front, so i did cut um pretty much like these. Four twists are just pretty much shorter than the rest of my hair um, but while we letting it grow, we're just gon na pray that it's going to even out so all right. So this is what the first section is looking like. We got a little. We got a little length back there. I'Ve got a little something um i haven't decided if i want to put a flat iron into my hair. I'D really rather not um, and this is my first time actually using like any type of heat on my hair since um big chopping um. So i'm actually gon na see like what my hair length is actually working with. But if i can, i'm gon na just try to stick to just the blowout look and not using heat so as y'all can see um, i just wanted to show y'all a little bit of what i mean as far as here's a perfect example. So this is the length of the rest of my hair and then the front sections are probably about that's like probably an inch and a half two inches shorter than the rest. And that's because, like i said, i have more blonde and they're still like little tnt pieces here and there um and i just wanted to get rid of all the wand and i'm just going to let it continue to grow and let it even out itself. So all right, so i'm finished blow drying and my hair actually was trying to even out a lot um. Also the i did cut some more on this side. I'Ve i just be doing stuff, but it's all because i don't like my hair anymore, especially because i cut it this short now. So it's like, i know it's going to grow back, but i mean i think it's a pretty decent um texture match, i'm not sure if you guys can see it. I do have some ends that are still brown. I didn't really care about getting rid of the brown, though i'm just a little worried about how this front is going to look like. I am just going to basically part off everything and then i'm going to secure them with rubber bands um. So i feel like that is big enough. It may be too big, but we're gon na try and honestly, i'm gon na put as many as i can, because i want it to be full from the videos i've watched. You need to start with. Two tape ends um and have one ready to sandwich the others, so you can sort of see like where the adhesive is versus the actual tape and i'm just gon na peel it off. Oh gosh, i'm so nervous y'all can see the shine. The shine is like the tape part, so i'm gon na take that off of one and do the same to the other one so that it's ready to go once we get to sandwich it all right cheers to our first tape in right. There, okay press it in and figure out where the hair kind of ends on it, i'm going to take the second one. I actually think this might be too thick, oh all right. So this is what i have so far um. I wanted to make sure i put these tracks like this like going along my part before i got up there so yeah, that's basically what i'm doing i feel like i'm kind of getting the hang of it um it's pretty much easier when you do it from The bottom and then do the top one, in my opinion, um when i'm doing the back, the comb definitely helps um. But when i get towards the front where i can actually see front ways um, i just use my fingers now. You just have to be careful when you're pushing the first one uh down to attach to the hair, because sometimes it latches onto hair that shouldn't be there and it feels like a little bit uncomfortable but um. The tape is not so strong that you can't actually take your the only hair off of there, so that is a plus i've actually seen somebody like cut one in half to fit into a smaller space. So i just want to measure this one because i don't feel like right here i'll do like a mini one kind of so i'm just going to take one and put it directly in half, and these are going to be the two sandwich pieces and the thing About this, hair is, like you really don't, probably have to use all the bundles just because it is so thick all right. So the back is finished, and i just need to do these two small middle sections. This is a process um, but so far it seems like it's going to be worth it um, like i said i just have to do these two sections and then i think i'm gon na do a flexi rod set all right, so i'm finished. Obviously, i need to style it i'm going to blow dry it all together, um in a second, but i just wanted to show you guys, um one. I showed you guys that um, no matter how i flip it, you cannot see any tapings and i gave myself. I guess this would be kind of like a vixen type of thing, because i can flip it to each side um and part it, and you will not see any tape, ins, um and then ponytails as well. I'M going to show you guys what it looks like in a ponytail. Obviously it's going to be a loose one, because my hair is not done but um. I used two complete bundles and i used one tape from the third bundle um, and this is what i have left. So let me blow dry all together right now, all right. So this is what she's looking like. Obviously, when the hair is a little bit more changed, you guys will be able to see it better, but even though my hair is pretty short, i'm still going to put it in the buns yeah. Let'S see boom, you can't see nothing period, it does not hurt. Um, obviously, in some places i feel a little bit tensioned because i may have put them a little bit too close, but my ponytails will never be too tight um, but the fact that i'm not sorry um yeah, i think i'm going to do a lexi rod, Said so um i'm going to use the african pride bomb setting boots um and i think i'm pretty much going to use um all sizes of flexi rods. I have like um this huge bin full of like flexi rods and stuff like that, but so far this is actually pretty cool. So i'm excited okay, i'm back and my hair is not completely dry, but i'm just going to take out um some of the flexi rods and hold it dry, some more off the rod, i'm going to go back through the dryer, and hopefully it dries the hair Itself looks good, it's just my hair, that's tweaking right now! It'S like. I really wish this time worked, all right guys, so i am back um. This is not what i was expecting. I ended up brushing out the actual curls because they some were blue. Some were not, it was just a lot going on, so i brushed out the curls um and then i blow-dried my i blow-dried my roots, um, where all my parts are, and i kind of just put up half um, and this is pretty much what i'm working With um, i think it came out pretty cute. I just need to figure out how i'm going to style it um with my leave out being so short um, but i feel like it's definitely gon na look. Okay. Overall, i think um, i'm kind of in love with the versatility of the actual style. Um yeah, but i think this is a cute little lazy, little style so um.
