Constructing A Deep Side Part Quick Wig

Hey guys, let's jump right into this video, I'm gon na show you how I make my Jessica, quick wig, which is available on my website. I love trash collection. Calm, as you can see, I already glued her closure down because I didn't decide to record this video until after I glued it down, but I am showing you now how I reinforced my closure by adding stitching to it. So with this particular unit, the client can wear their hair behind their ear, so make sure when you put the closure on that, you extend the lace about two to three inches in front of the actual band before you stitch it down. So now I'm just gon na go in and begin to glue my tracks in with this particular unit. I am using the Indian Kashmir, which is our loose curly texture. It'S also available at I love posh collection, calm and I'm going to use two bundles of 14-inch, but you can also use a 16 inch with this unit and possibly a tighter curl. If you like. So one of the questions I get asked a lot by clients is: why don't I glue any hair on the band in the front? You do not want some glue hair on the band. You need that band, so your wig, you and it can expand. So if you glue tracks down on that one inch band in the front, you are going to lose some of the elasticity in the Union and it may not be able to stretch or expand as much as you need it to now. As I glue my tracks to the top, I am tapering the tracks onto the band. Now, that's okay! You can have some of the tracks on the band like on the top. You will notice, I'm tapering it because I don't want that band to show on the clients forehead when they put the unit on, but you definitely do not want to put tracks on your entire band. That'S just my personal advice and you always want your track placement to be in the direction that you want the unit to flow. So I'm just glowing my tracks exactly the direction that I want. This unit to fall and, as you can see, my hole is getting smaller on the top. I did not split any traps for this unit. All the track's. I am going in our full tracks. So now our track placement is complete. So, let's comb her out a little bit play around with her and then we're gon na cut her into a nice little bob. So all I'm doing now is just adding a little foam on the hair just to control the lace closure and get it to go in a direction that I needed to go in before I cut the hair. So the lengths I'm going for with this Bob is just right above the shoulder line. Now remember when you are cutting curly your texture here, you want to cut it slightly longer than you normally would. So when the hair draws up, you don't lose your neck. I actually love doing this cut because it is super simple, it's a blunt cut. All you have to do is cut your guide along the bottom, because the curly hair is going to offer the layers. So you don't have to go back in and cut layers into hair, so there you have it. This one was pretty simple. The most complicated thing on this particular unit is knowing how to place the closure, and because I put the closure on prior to recording I'll, have to show you guys how to do that in another video. So now I'm just going to remove my unit from the canvas head and take the plastic cap from underneath the canvas here. So when you're doing quick, wig units, you want to make sure you put a plastic cap underneath your mesh cap so that it does not stick to the canvas head and then after I do that, I'm just gon na grab my shears and cut the mesh cap From underneath my lace, so it will have a natural look and if I want to bleach the nuts and pluck it I can, I hope you guys enjoyed this video be sure to follow me on IG at mad about me Qi as well as my boutique.
