Forget The Lace! Body Wave Upart Wig With Highlights + Layered And Curled | Incolorwig Reviews

I usually shy away from colored U Part wigs, but this body wave upart wig with highlights is perfect for a nice pop of color that's easy to blend. If you've never worn a upart, they simply sew in weaves, but way easier since you only have to secure the perimeter with clips which makes it's very easy to take on and off. Perfect wig for those who don't care for lace, but don't want to do weaves either.

incolorwigs upart incolorwig reviews

This is my first time ever working with a color. U part, what's up guys welcome back to my channel xoxo shiba here, if you're new to my channel hello and welcome and if you're og subscriber what's good welcome back. This is my first time ever working with a color. You part i have like anytime somebody's trying to send them to me i'll, be like nah, just because i feel like how am i supposed to blend color when my hair is not exactly color, but this one came in a nice like subtle, highlight kind of color And i felt like i could do something with that and i did so if you want to see everything that i did to get. This look keep on watching this video, so this wig is from in color wigs. It'S a u-part, wig and body wave with these gorgeous highlights in it. This is actually my first time trying in color wigs, so i'm interested to see how you know it uh styles and everything for me with you part wigs. I love to add layers because i feel like it makes the blend a whole lot more seamless than if you just go from one length of hair with your hair and then another length of hair with the. U part wig. So i'm adding layers to the front. Uh face framing and then i'm also adding layers all throughout the wig. If you're unaware of how to cut layers, don't be alarmed, it's actually very simple, even though it sounds like it's something that's hard to do. All you have to do is just cut downwards. In a fast motion also keep in mind watching this video. I have sped up this footage, so it seems like i'm going faster than what i am going. I wanted the curls i was doing to last for a while. So what i did after i used my curling wand was basically paint curl. These up. I would have preferred to use like one of those hair clips that you see people use for curling hair, but i didn't have any so i improvised with bobby pins. I had to do what i had to do with what i had for the curls near my face. I just curled away from the face, but for volume in the back i curled in opposite directions to make sure that my u-part space and my leave-out space match up in sides. I usually like to measure with my fingers, so i see that two fingers fits the. U part space there, so two fingers worth of leave out is what i leave out on my head for additional prep work under the wig. Before i put it on. I am slicking my edges mind you. I had only you part week before this, so my hair is already straightened, but if your hair isn't already straightened you're, probably going to want to at least straighten the hair you're going to leave out, you don't need to do the whole head. You can do what i'm doing slick it back or just braid the foundation of it down, but definitely you know you want a flat iron straighten out your leave out. Now, i'm ready to slide this? U part right on. I just love new parts because they're so easy to use like it's way less work than trying to weave and sew everything in, but you still get like the natural benefits of having leave out out. If you like, leave out, that is some people don't like leave that and that's okay too, but anyways. I also like how this has the sliding combs and it still felt secure, sometimes with just the sliding combs it doesn't feel as secure, but this one it didn't. Do too bad? I did go ahead, though, and add some bobby pins to the wig just for extra security now for the takedown, even though some of these was coming out on their own time anyway, i'm gon na go ahead and take the bobby pins out, and this was really A good move to me because these curls are going to hold so much better. It'S actually been a day or two since i made this video and the curls are still in the air. I had a wig on it this second, but the curls are still fully intact, like i just did it so yes to the pin curls, because i hadn't even put hairspray in it yet now. This is the point where your hair needs to already be straightened in your leave out, or you need to go ahead and straighten it. I'M just going to do a quick touch up on my roots, not too much and not too high of a heat. Since i already had my hair done for a different, you part before this, but you know, if you are doing this fresh, you can go ahead and do like a little silk press on your leave out so it'll blend with the wig. So because this is a silkier textured hair with it being body wave and i have a yakier textured hair, i went ahead and added my wax stick to my leave out so that way, it'll keep it weighed down, and you know kind of just blended better with The body wave hair - i, like smoothing in my wax with like a bristle brush like this, because i just feel like it's got a little more weight to it to really like smooth it in took a little edge control to my widow's peak. I have a slight widow's peak if you've never noticed just so i could push that to the side a little bit for this middle part. I redid the curls right in the front so that way they would frame my face a little bit better. I went ahead and adjusted the face framing layers, just because, when you do these, you know on your mannequin head. Sometimes you have to go back and redo it on your face, because it's not going to like exactly frame your face perfectly the way it would, if you just had it on your head, i stuck an edge scarf on my edges after using the edge control and Then i went ahead and used some hairspray throughout the curls, so they'll have some nice hold, but you don't want to use too too much because you don't want the curls to be too hard and they get stiff and frizzy and stuff. So this is the final. Look, i'm actually really amazed with how this turned out, i'm so used to like rocking with kinky straight when it comes to you parts i can do a body wave, but kiki straight is really usually where it's more at for me, but this one i really liked. I think you know just learning techniques over the past year or so doing you parts has made it a lot easier. For me, the wax stick is definitely a good tip, highly recommend that you do that if you're working with a silkier texture - and you have a kinkier texture, so shout out to inktober wig for sending this to me. If you're interested in rocking this for yourself, details will be down in the description box below. Thank you guys so much for watching, as always, don't forget to like comment and subscribe, and i will see you guys in my next video and you know,
