Thin Part Wig Comparison: Kayla And Candice

Good people - it's sewing out here, your neighborhood friendly wig reviewer and i'm super stoked about today's video because i'm coming to fulfill a promise. So in the comments section i've had several of you asked me to compare the kayla to the candice, but i couldn't because i didn't have a candice, but i got one now and so what we're going to do is look at the wigs side by side and Compare the two: i've had to act a little differently with the two of them with product, because i tried to approach candice the same way that i approached kayla and candice was like sis you doing too much, and so i just reworked my routine there. I do want you to take a special note that this is the wig a week after i've applied product, and so i've worn her all week and you can see that it's a little bit fluffy, which is how i really like it. And so, when i'm doing the comparison, what i'm going to do at the very end of the video is show you what the wig looks like right after i've washed it added the product and gone from there. Another thing i need you to take special note on is that my canvas is brand new, but my kayla is a year old and so you're going to notice that candace is a little bit fresher, but kayla still got it going on, and so let's just look At these two wigs so that you can make the best informed decision for yourself alrighty guys we're going to get started, the one that my hand is on top of right now is the kayla. They are both wet, but you can see that kayla has a tighter curl pattern and then this one right here is the candice. This one has a looser curl pattern than the kayla does, but they're both super beautiful and we are going to apply the products on both of these units so that we can see the curls come alive. Both of these units are 180 density and they are also both 18 inches, but you can see the tighter curl is going to pull that curl up a little bit more so right now what i'm doing is sectioning off the hair on the kayla. Ultimately, it's just going to make things a lot easier for you when you start working in the product and brushing through the hair, so i'm just going to section it off in a couple of different sections. Really in the back, i could put that in a clip as well or it's just gon na sit over to the side and not bother me. While i get to do my job, but i am going to be using the dark and lovely curl glaze and i'm just going to apply the product, take my denman brush and just brush through it one section at a time after i got that one done. I did switch the wig heads over and at this time i'm going to work on the canvas now with the canvas again when i applied that dark and lovely curl glaze. It was just super weighed down, and so i used marc anthony curls. That'S the product that was recommended by innovative weaves and wigs, and so right now you'll see that both of those wigs are completely dry and so on. The canvas i'm just going to hold the bottom of that wig and just begin to fluff at the root of the unit. I'Ve learned that this process really breaks up the curls but keeps them still fluffy and super defined, and so once i get done with that, i am just going to switch the placement of these two wigs so that i can work on my sweet, sweet kayla again. I'M just going to section that off and once i do i'm going to take a pick and i'm just going to comb through the root of this unit. I'M not going to comb all the way to the end. But i do want some volume and i want to see it puff just a little bit and so i'll comb the root. Just to add that volume there all right, guys, that's the routine that i used on my thin part, wigs, candace and kayla. I started the video out wearing the candace for you and now i am wearing my one year old kayla for you again. This is after it was washed, and the products were applied a week ago, so you're seeing it seven days later, you don't have to fix it up every single day and apply product all the time.
