Hey everybody is Shay, I'm all going to simply gorgeous simply me simply gorgeous and if you're looking at my video, you can tell from the title. This is my second protective hairstyle um for the week um. I have changed up on my protective hair styling and what I want to do with that, but I'll get into a further discussion with that a little bit later, just in case anyone wants to know what it's on my face, I'm just going to go through that Really quickly and get that out of the way, so that there's no questions about it and, of course, all products that i use on my face and the details for this hair will be in the description box below. So please check that out. Basically, all that there is on five days and some black opal deluxe finishing powder and medium and then a little bit of Max mineralized skin, finish and comfort. I should like this then um, my favorite blush by Mac Mac's peach twist, and I use my next I've brow kit. I use this dark brown right here to fill in my brows and I use Maybelline's um. I don't think this is part of their fit collection, but maybelline's concealer, and this is in cafe 30 cafe and when I use concealer, i use it up under my um. I lived right here this area above my eyebrows and up under my eyebrows, just to kind of define them a little bit since my eyebrows have not gotten done in a long, I'm weensy we go to Atlanta, get them done because I hate the way they get Done here in Savannah, that's neither here nor there. On my eyes, I am rocking LA Colors boardwalk. This orange right here is on three fourths of my eyelid. This brown right here with like orange goldish specks in it it's in the UM, the outer V and into my crease, and then it's just a little bit as the gel as a highlight then oh um, I would I use la's colors concealer. I think this is in beige. As my eyeshadow primer um, i line my eye with elf, liquid eyeliner in black and for my mascara i am using Maybelline's the colossal volume Express - and this is in glam black, my mac, my favorite um, my favorite mascaras. Are you guys, I'm kind of out of it? My favorite mascara is mac, studio, fix and um. I think it's in black, but maybe have a different name, but it's black, that's my favorite mascara is in the car. I didn't, I feel like walking to the car to go, get it so yeah and on my lips it's just Sally Hansen's natural butter, lip shine and bloom. So that's it! That'S all! That'S on my face, so I'm going to bash back a little bit. So this is it um, basically just working some jewelry, I don't know long maxi dress. I just put this white shirt on, like I kind of hard see. Actually yes um. I just tied it right here, because this dress is very boobalicious and I was not going for the boobalicious look today. I'M war for a little bit more um, actually chic. Look if you guys have not seen my clothing haul video. This dress is actually in the clothing haul, video. It'S a dress that guy from rainbow for fifteen dollars, pull it up, so he has conceded that has all the orange yellow brown neutral colors in it, so yeah, very long and very elegant, but very boobalicious. So let's talk about here almost five minutes into the video let's get to with the real videos supposed to be about okay. So in my hair I am rocking a! U part, wig, I told you guys about this. U part wig and my last my introduction to the protective styling challenge and all that stuff, but the most of the hair in this? U part, wig is sensation, no um connubial hair, and this is, of course, a hundred percent kangleon fibers and it's a corkscrew week. 12 inches f1b 30, which looks like this capitec, so you guys can see um so most of the hair. Is that and then there's some here cuz at the top? That'S um, I think a little bit of a mixture of the aisle tray, patike bohemian um curl. One, the one, so you part with that, show you guys before something that has a little bit of that in there and then a little bit of urban beauties, jheri curl and a number i want to say too um, probably 12 inches, it's human here, that's more Towards the top just to fill it in because, like um this hair - and I wish I kept the package to show you guys - I'm so sorry, but this hair came with um some track hair and then also included a closure. But it wasn't a lot of hair on the track to make it as full as i wanted. So i took some hair from my other. U part wig and added it this one um. I got a lot of compliments on this. U part wig everybody loves that they think just my real hair and it's really nice. I do like the way that the top is a little bit more, not defined frizzy, because my hair is really super frizzy during the summer. So it's kind of easier to blend. All i do is joe down right here and I kind of put a little bit of gel throughout the hair and kind of just run my fingers through it to kind of blend it into the hair. I gel it down in the front just so. It'S not flying everywhere and doing all kind of crazy stuff. So let me get a tissue part. Wig is thrown down onto my head. It was done on a dome cap. It was dead using the hot gun glue method. Basically, if you guys don't know about the hot gun glue method, I think there's only really one video that does a tutorial on it on YouTube now, because I believe that jazzy Jujubee took her video down, but i will leave a link to her channel in the Description box below because she talks about using the fusion glue sticks versus the hot gun, glue sticks that you find at walmart and all that stuff. Well, if you have a more expensive type hair, you want the way to last forever that sort of things she recommends that you use the fusion um glue, gun method. I am using cheap weave that could care less about and I'm not playing on really washing it. So I just used a regular old hot gun, glue method, um with glue sticks from Cotts doors because that's I had my hand um, but yeah it's on a dome cap. The you part shape is not really. You part, it's more of like a V um. I sold it down because, after taking my soul out out from last time, the one that you guys saw in the other video very nice, the one that you guys saw in the other video um. I noticed a lot of breakage a lot of um tangling. That sort of thing - and it really is my whole fantasies of why I didn't have to do some ways like why I just was like I'm over this with someone's in my hair, like I love that it emerged that the stock, I don't have to do much. My hair did good, but it was just the timing, a hassle to take it out, and I have so to get the net off. So I came up with this idea and I just wanted to share it with you, ladies because, going through this six months, protective hair challenge for myself. It'S not only to benefit my hair, my health growth, that sort of thing, but it's also to spread some knowledge to my fellow use. Tube sisters, especially those of us who have fine, hair thicker hair, is able to maintain a lot more nip y elation and what I mean by that is braiding your hair down. It'S a little bit is full to me my pan, whatever, but to me it seems like when you have thicker hair and you braid it it's easier for you to braid it and have a thicker base where, as me, having fine thin hair, I have to make Bigger braids to have a bigger base to put less tension. Ok, sorry like that to uh put less less tension and less stress on my natural hair, and so it's a little bit more complicated when you're doing so ends and you're having the thread pulling on your hair and that sort of thing my hair is easily tangled And it's harder to get it d tangled and it just became a lot of headache, a lot of hassle and that sort of thing, so I've come up with this method. I so I've come up with this method, and I think that this will benefit me. A lot easier - and I think if I told you guys about it, those of you who have finer hair, it may benefit you guys as well. So I did this. You part on um a dome cap and basically, what I did was I made one large base perimeter braid so basically around the back up the sides, but right here w part for my leave out and then down again and then I did three huge, like french Braids, just to the back, i braided my hair up, secure it with a bobby pin up that was it then I sold down the perimeter of the wig. I didn't sew it down that it was so super tight and super heavy. I still can move this very flexible like if I had a clip on or clip on men or whatever, it's still very flexible. There is space um, I'm know if you guys could see it, but here it's like whether you part is but there's space. I can put my finger in here, so i can also excuse me by the camera. I can also put something like oil or whatever, that has a nozzle and i'm not going to put in the end. I'M just going to show you for purposes of this. Video put this in and then get the oil in there, so my scalp can get moisturize yeah, so I'm still able to manipulate it. And if I need to during the week to take this off to wash my hair or to get at my scalp and literally takes me all up, not even 10 minutes to put this on and take it back off because it's just around the perimeter. So my plan is to wear the dome cat-like make another. U part wig with my that we and no longer do so much but kind of do so much what I like to call a fake someone, a lot of fun people who do you part wigs, do through this method. They do so it down. I'M just not going to leave its own down for like two three weeks, four weeks, five weeks, whatever it's not happening, so I'm thinking once a week. I will take this off wash my hair, deep condition. It um moist, put extra moisture in it. My name's your protein treatment, whatever do that braid it back down and I'm doing bigger prey. So it's less manipulation. It'S just one huge braid around the center. If you want it to, you, could just do section, hair off and just braid it down like you're doing braid out. I just gather it back up and put it in. You can kind of make this a little bit more successful to you. I don't like my brains to be like Hugh plat, braids or whatever, but in the future I may try that we, we shall go on this journey and see together but um. I feel like that's a little bit more easier to maintain my hair and to keep it from getting damaged. Yes, it's not technically the ultimate protective styling. Where I don't take her. I stop manipulated everything. I you know what everybody says, but my hair. It needs to be washed a lot and Washington and braids gets it matted and tangled up, so I find it easier for me to just take it out: detangle it watch it put it back into the braids or whatever and go buy it for another week. It'S a lot less manipulation than I'm used to I'm used to actually doing my hair and then manipulating it somehow every single day. So this is a turning 22 that also as another alternative you guys can do and just coming up. You know saying this from the top of my head: um, you can sew your hair down and, of course, you know keep like a part of it out like the bag, something somewhere where you can just lift it up or you can book homes in the back. I don't like home so therefore i'm not using them, but to wash your hair, you can actually keep your brazen wash your hair dry it that sort of thing and keep it going if you wanted to put your hair is smaller braids up under here. That sort of thing, then you know that's time, um, I'm actually thinking that next time, when I do this, I will try the little parts and see if that's a little bit more of a better technique. Bullsháá see um so yeah. This is so we're here that I'm rocking today, i assaulted thursday, so i'm going to try to keep this in until friday we're supposed to go into town next Friday evening, so I'm going to be working on my other another. U part wig and I'll show that to you guys and I'll show you how i installed it in that sort of thing, I'm still debate debating on length. I do have some extra hair that I use in my other. U part wig, that's like that. I might put at the bottom just to give me a little longer length at the bottom, because that hair is like eight inches or whatever, but i think i'll show you guys about it. You guys to see you later, so that's pretty much it. I hope you guys are enjoying your weekend. Today is Saturday july, twenty, eighth and yeah, i'm enjoying mine, i'm gary to go out there and get busy enjoying my Saturday. So until next time you guys have a lovely lovely on weekend. No, no one not be back to do another video but of course, always to get in touch with me will be down in the description box below, as well as all the information for.
