5 Basic Wig Caps | Their Purposes | And Which One Is Right For You!

Friends, this is Barbara from wigs and fluff. Now today I have for you a tutorial on the five different kite types of wig caps: wig caps, not the ones that you wear underneath your wig, but the wig caps that are built into your wigs. The first one is the monofilament type. Now monofilament types can be parted on anywhere. You want from one side the left or the right or in the middle anywhere you want to, and the crowd pleaser is an example of a monofilament type. You can part her on any side that you want. You can part her over here if you feel like it, but you can see right up in there. It will absolutely part for you either way that you want. I think, I'm parting her on the right. This time she will do it, you can, you can she'll, do it or I can part her on the left or in the middle there. She is she. It will go over to the left for you or you can just do her in the middle. My only problem with the crowd pleaser, she seems sparse. That'S one of my problematic issues and the bangs. I had to trim up the bangs a bit because they were driving me nuts, but she tends to want to part in the in the middle. But you can part her on the left for the right and that's the beauty of a mono filament wig that you can um part it on either side Left Right middle now. The next one is a capless wig. The capless wig is lighter and it's more breathable than a regular wig. So I don't know that I have a capless wig. Let me see, I don't think I did have a capless wig. I don't have one out to show you that I can think of, but a capless wig is um more breathable, it's great for summer. It'S lighter and but it can only be parted. One way, whether wherever it's built into in the middle and left, whatever it's built into, that's a capless wig, but the benefit of the capless wig is that it is cooler great for summer really great wig for summer. Then you have full lace, wigs and that would be like the trendsetter Elite, which has the lace front on it right there. As you can see, it has the lace front on it that I am wearing the original trendsetter an older one, and it does not have the lace front and the lace front makes it look like it. It'S attached to your skin. It looks like an absolute normal hairline, where you can wear this wig back off your face. If you want to kind of like that which wouldn't work with this wig, because it's a it's a, not a lace front, the lace that piece of lace there - you just heat it up, you what you do is you rub your hands together, really really really really? Really really really good and then that's what I do anyways and then you can get that lace front to meld right into your scalp. I mean not permanently but close enough to where it looks like it's just part of your scalp and it looks like you can it just looks like a normal hairline, so you can wear it back away from your face like that. That'S what it's meant to do. That'S what the lace front does. Let me put this back in here and move on. So that's the lace front or the full lace wig. So we have the monofilament, the capless, which is great for summer or the full lace. The next one is the traditional wig and that's like the one that I am wearing right now and um. It has a regular cap just like the ones that you see I'll just pop it up for a second, and you can see. This does not have the lace, this is old old. It'S got makeup on it right there, but um. It'S got the lace on it. This is a traditional cap. It'S got the open, weave all the way around it and the ear tabs. It does have velor this one may be old, but it's got the Velvet or the the ear tabs, not the ear tabs, but the adjusters here, the velcro and the ear Tabs are very, very comfortable on this wig really great wig. I love it. It'S over a year old and I still wear it. I love the trendsetter always have always have loved the trendsetter. This one particular trendsetter is in iced, vanilla, which I really love. The color really really love the color, but you can see that you know you can't wear this one back off your face. You have to put the bangs to the side. That'S the way this one is made, but with the new trendsetter Elite you can wear it up back off your face, so that is one way now. This is the traditional cap that I have on. So you have the monofilament, the capless, the full lace, the traditional and um in the hand tied wig in the hand-tied wig. I do not have an example of a hand-tied wig. I really don't. Um can't show you that, but the advantage of a hand-tied wig one of the advantages I've read, is that like, if you get caught out in a rain or something in a real driving rain, these wigs here can get wet and it's okay for them to get Wet but sometimes you're going to be able to see the wefting after the after you get right. You can see this you're going to see places in the wig now this is a very full wig here. So it's hard to show you but you're going to be able to see, see like that in between and you don't want to see it normally. So the hand-tied wig is such that that doesn't show no matter what the wefting never shows it just doesn't and it costs more. The wefting, the hand-tied wigs always cost more. So there's like five different types of caps and all the Caps have open wefts. You know that they all have ear tabs. We know that and we all have a gestures, some with the bra strap type, some with that velcro top and all have that lace on the front or on the top. This is the dance wig, and you can see the lace right here on the top of this one. They all have the same thing. They open weave the ear tabs, the adjusters. This one has the velcro and it all has they all have that Comfort strip at least most of them do some do not, and if you have a lace front, they're not going to have that probably, and they all have the lace in the front and the Lace is there to protect the permatease. So when you have that kind of a a wig you're going to notice some little kinky hair, some little tiny, kinky hair sticking up in the middle of this cap and they feel kind of prickly or fuzzy. When you not fuzzy more prickly, when you put your hands or try to touch in that part of the wig and that protects your permatease and it keeps your your wig giving you a little bit of height, that's the purpose of that so um. The basic wig has that lace on it, like I just showed you and they're all machine made. That'S the thing with basic caps. They'Re all machine made they're, basically like a baseball cap without the without the front part they're, just a baseball cap that fit on fits on your head. That'S why, when you first start wearing wigs, it feels kind of like a hat or a helmet, but you get used to that over time and it doesn't even bother you get to the point where you don't even notice it anymore, that this feels like your own Hair so most wigs have permatease and that little kinky area, like I said the lace front, wigs, have thin mesh fiber across that front. Just like I showed you on this one, the thin mesh or the piece of lace across the front. They all have that some are bigger or thicker than others, and some you have to cut um. They also have the lace like the regular cap, and they also have the kinky hairs up there that protect the permatease um, the full monofilament, where you can part it on one side or the other or in the middle. That'S what the monofilament is for. It has a big top crown area and it's hand tied, usually and um. You can part it anywhere. You can absolutely part it anywhere. So that's the those are the pluses and the minuses and the different types of caps basic lace, front. Um traditional, you have your traditional or basic monofilament lace, front hand tied. Those are the ones that we have, that we can choose from and they're about, five different types, and it depends upon what your needs are. If you can't stand bangs, then you'll probably want a full lace: wig, that's probably what you're used to wearing. If you cannot stand apart, your hair in the middle or not to part your hair in the middle, if you want to part your hair in the middle or on the left or on the right, you can't stand to do it any other way. That'S what you've always done can't do it any more than you probably want a monofilament where you can part it. Whatever way you want to do so. Those are just the those are just the things. If you don't really mind and if you don't really care and anything's good with you like me, then you can wear the traditional cap. I have tons of traditional caps because I like them, I like the stretchiness of them. I like the fit of them, and I don't mind the part that you can. It doesn't matter with me as long as I've got a few bangs coming down to cover my broad, big forehead. Then then, I'm good, so I wear a traditional cap most of the time, I'm not too much a fan of the lace front because they're itchy and they bother me like the trendsetter Elite, really bothers me. If I wear it for too long, it bothers me, but you can put on the trendsetter and you can pull that back away from your face if you want to so those are the pluses and minuses of wig caps, um and hand-tied are the most expensive. They usually come with that lace front and they can be monofilament where you can part them anyway, so those are the most expensive. Now I want to talk to you about something else: seven ways that God shows you his love. First, with worry, you can win over worry with God's love. Jesus wants to give you peace and to care for you and to give you confidence, that's what his desire is. He loves you, you can be busyness and tiredness Jesus wants to refresh you and to give you rest third healing your heart. When you have a broken heart, Jesus is there and he wants to restore you, your damaged, emotions and repair. Your broken heart. All of us go through those times and Jesus is there, but for the asking just asking, and he will send in the angels to restore you um, to give you guidance when you don't know what to do when you're. In that situation, where you have to make a decision, you have to go in One Direction or another, and you don't know what to do. He can help us with our choices. If we rely on him and if we wait for him, he will tell us which direction to go to fight off fear. Many of us are crippled by fears, if you trust in the Lord, with all your heart and you do not fear, Jesus will be with you. Just don't fear, don't let it overcome you do not fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a strong mind. Friendship, God loves us through friendship. Jesus is your friend he's the best friend you're ever going to have the best in the world, so trust trust him as a friend. He wants to give you hope, hope for a future and plans for a future not to harm you, but to prosper. You so trust him today trust him today. Those are seven ways that Jesus wants to love on you and he loves you so much now. That'S my story for today the five basic wig caps, which I talked to you about that would be monofilament, capless Lace, Wigs, traditional and hand-tied wigs.
