Hey aphrodisiacs: it's me khadijah aka Africa's easyacc. So if you need to my channel, then please hit that subscribe button and if you're already subscribed, then welcome back to my channel. You guys so today is going to be the last video of 2017 from me. This is also the last Sunday of 2017. This is also New Year's Eve, so I hope you guys are enjoying today and already for the new year, I'm so so excited. But I just wanted to come in here and give you guys an update on how it's been dealing with anemia and also how I've been treating it over the course of one year by the way, I'm filming on a new camera. So let me know what you guys think about the quality I was filming on a Sony from before and I think I'm gon na sell it. If you guys are interested in this camera, then just email me, my email is down below or you are interested. This is the Sony Alpha. I believe it's the 85,000. It is a great camera. I just think it's better for vlogging, okay. So what is anemia? I'M gon na read for my computer, because this is a long definition. An email is a condition that develops when you're full lacks enough healthy red blood cells or hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is a main part of red blood cells and binds oxygen. If you have too few or abnormal red blood cells or your hemoglobin is abnormal or low, the cells in your body will not get enough oxygen. So basically the symptoms of anemia are like you feel, dizzy: shortness, a fatigue. You just feel sleepy all the time. All of this stuff that just makes you feel crappy so November of 2016. I came on here and let you guys know what was going on. I felt like it was important that you guys knew because when you're anemic it can affect your hair most definitely you can experience shedding and also hair loss. I'M gon na talk about my treatment plan and the supplements that I'm taking. Of course, I have to take iron supplements because when you're anemic you're deficient in iron and not to take this price a day, this is something that I just picked up for myself. It wasn't like recommended that I take a multivitamin, but since I'm getting older, I'm 22, I just felt like I needed to just add a multivitamin. This is the centrum multi gummies, yes, their gummies, because I just didn't want to take a pill on top of a pill. You know take these twice. A day later, on, I found out that I was deficient in vitamin C. It'S been a crazy. Are you guys - and I take this once a day - all right, so first we're gon na start off with my diet? Back in November 2016, I told you guys that I wanted to change up my diet and at first I was making green smoothies. But honestly you guys that was shirtless. I don't really like the taste of green smoothies. I was trying to tweak my recipe to find one that I really liked, but I never did so. I just fell off of it. I do eat fruits and vegetables. Just leave me suggestions down below of like good stuff to eat that is still rich in iron. Now you guys everything has pretty much blossomed and done well and got better this year, except for my skin. Before I found out that was anemic in October of 2016. I was working out during the summertime and during the summertime I was trying a new product. I did a video on it. I started to break out a lie in my forehead, just a whole bunch of acne right in this area. Then, once I found out that I was anemic and start taking these supplements, I noticed that my acne was just getting worse. It took me like most of 2017 to really realize that my skin was just getting worse and worse and worse. So I went to the dermatologist I'm following a skincare routine that my dermatologist recommended. I use I'm still breaking out the granite, I'm on a retinol and it's only been two months so maybe adjusting. I did, though, check my supplements to see like. Could there be anything in there, that's causing acne, and you guys I checked my multivitamin and there's biotin in this. If you guys don't know about the benefits of biotin and hair, basically biotin helps with hair growth. It helps to thicken up your here. You have full of hair. All of these amazing benefits that I notice within my hair this year. So you guys know what that means. I'M gon na have to do a one-year biotin update because I have been taking biotin for a year and some change, and I didn't even know that this contained biotin, but it makes sense. So I hope that that answers all of you guys's questions on. How did your hair grow, you know so fast and how it's it full and thick? I just thought it was the iron. I do still think that the iron played a major role. I just thought: maybe it'd help to control shedding and I'm not bald. So maybe that's what the iron did for me, but I think for like just the growth and the thickness I think has been from the biotin coming from these multivitamins. So that's pretty much been my hair, my skin, and everything like that. Hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did, then please give this video a big thumbs up, comment down below, feel free to share this video and, of course, subscribe. I will see you guys in 2018, bye guys

Mishkat Kardash: vitamin D is also very important for the hair once I found out I was deficient in vitamin D and started taking supplements my hair has grown for like 4 inches in two months

Miissboniita19: I just love how honest and open you are with us. I have anemia as well & have suffered from major weight changes, fatigue and lose of breath. This year i make it my duty to embrace my health and work on bettering it <3

Joy Deja King: Can we take a moment for the thumbnail pic! You look beautiful. Your hair is truly flourishing!

Marleen G.: Anemia is notorious for hair loss. Great that you're on top of it. Also, due to menstruation and heavy menses it can be even worse during that time. Please take note of that. Happy New Year to you.

MyNaturalMyChoice: Hey KD.. Your hair and skin looks flawless! You know I love Ayurvedic herbs for hair and health. I take Ashwaganda for hair and health. I just recently added Organic Maca Root Powder to my smoothies . Great benefits for the skin. Thanks for sharing your update. Happy New Year

Lee Lee: Hey ak!!! Your hair is growing leaps and bounds. Looks amazing. I am slightly anemic and i read that spinach is great and nuts. I cook my spinach with garlic, onions, and mushrooms and it is soooo good. I read that it absorbs better when cooked. I tried multivitamins with iron, but it makes me constipated. So, i try to get in my food as much as i can. Happy new year and hope this helps.

Top Tier 👑: Wow i literally went through the same thing as you! I became anemic after I got the contraceptive Paraguard . It made me anemic, i broke out for months until I visited the dermatologist, and now taking multivitimans and iron pills! Thank you for this video and giving people knowledge on anemia & health!

Just CeCe: When you are anemic you do suffer with hair loss, so you’re right.. it’s a combination of both getting your iron stored up and taking biotin as well.

Chay Andrea: You look great, missed watching your videos glad to have returned. Your hair looks awesome too!

B B: Thank you so much for all your videos!!! I look forward to 2018 with you boo boo!! Happy New Year!!

Kym At Home: Happy New Year. your hair and skin are absolutely gorgeous!

Stacey Andrus: HI KHADIJAH, HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2018, WOW! :) I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I'VE BEEN ON YOUTUBE, AND I HOPE YOUR FIRST DAY OF 2018 IS GOING WELL! :) I REALLY JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT, YOUR HAIR IS GORGEOUS, AS ALWAYS, :) AND, I PRAY THAT YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A BLESSED, HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

Shelly Reynolds: Great to see you again my lil Darling, Dazzling, Daisy, we already knew what you could do, but it's great to see you with your Anemia under control. A very simple way to stop all breakouts forevbruary is to increase your water intake. I'd actually say you should begin the gallon of water a day challenge. Stick with it for a month, and that should be enough to continue with it for life. You know me, and my tea so I drink well over a gallon a day once you add all that in. Still as long as your drinking just tea, no, honey, sugar etc. it can be counted towards your water intake as well. If when you first begin this challenge you find your breaking out even more, don't freak out, it just means your body was chalked full of toxins. Keep it going, and you'll find that you'll have baby smooth breakout free skin. Now in the office a few of our Dr.'s actually had patients try this challenge too, and I can tell you that the rate of their health increased, some even drastically. Many folks aren't even aware of the fact that you should NEVER feel thirsty. Thirst means your ALREADY dehydrated, which can NEVER happen if your getting in all the water your body is supposed to receive. You'll thank me for this someday, til then happy sippin!

Chalsey Wilder: You're one of my favorite YouTubers. Just in case and just to warn you one of my other favorite YouTubers got hacked into and all her earnings were taken, and for whatever reason YouTube is taking their sweet ass time investigating. Just be careful. No telling who else this could happen to

mangopeel: Iron pulls have saved my hair! I take the megafood blood builder ones, you can buy them on amazon

Candiblue: I glad you are dealing with your health and it does play a major roll in the health of you hair and body functions

MekaSharee: Hey, do you encounter constipation while on iron? If so, what do you do to combat it?

PunkGirlRock: Add fruits & ginger to your green smoothie. Make sure your getting enough folate & b12 vitamin (which should be in the multi-vitamin).

Chalsey Wilder: I can definitely tell your hair got longer. What is your goal length? Do you have a goal length in the first place?

Chalsey Wilder: I think sunflower seeds and almonds have iron in it. I love both. There's sunflower seed spread and they have almond spreads too.

princess shelly: This is a subject that many people don't either know or chose not to talk about. I myself suffer from iron deficiency anemia. In 2017, I couldn't understand why my fair was falling by the hand full. My nursing instinct kicked in I thought Thyroids I even wonder if I issues with cancer or something. By the time my pony tail began to get so thin you can watch TV through it enough was enough. I went to the doctor and lord behold I was vitamin D3 deficient. My doctor was liked u lucky to be standing. Forget that my I take Calcium supplements for my bones already something I wanted to do myself. My hair is falling I am bald. So yes ladies the struggle is real. Things got worse before they became better. I went natural, trimmed my hair, and began taking vitamin D3. I hate iron pills due to the pain it causes my stomach; therefore, I half way take them. I began a regimen hair, skin nails vitamins, vitamin E,A B complex, Zinc, and vitamin c. I also invested in biotin which caused me to break out despite a gallon of water consumed a day. I chunk biotin for MSM powder and collagen. I transition for about 10 months. I began a healthy eating regimen also and on the right road to recovery. I big chopped Sept 2018. 2 months of growth my hair back down to my neck. Waiting to see what my next length check going to be after I take these braids out. Oh yeah all I have done was braids the entire year with LOC method and Aloe Vera daily spray, with growth oil, and whipped shea butter mix. I now take blood builders instead of iron pills. They are better on my stomach. I also have a smoothie regimen to aid in my hair growth and weight loss.

jaqqueline rodrigues: Estava procurando vídeos sobre essa vitamina, n encontro aqui no Brasil!!

B B: I heard cheek break outs...are typically allergy related. Have you been tested?

T.Hunny: Listening to you then, I heard that .. "Bruh!" lol.. I had to look around to see if someone snuck in on me ,and I replayed your video 3x just to make sure ..BTW your hair is FLOURISHING!!

Lizzie Clay: Hello, You said it’s okay to use Clay wash once a week but after what do you do? Do you deep condition or just apply leave in and styler? Your hair looks great.

Grace: When I get my health in check do I have to cut my hair because it got thin or will it get better without me cutting it?

Faith in all things W: I like the gummy vitamins too! Sometimes I take the children's vitamins too. We as people Don't eat the way we should.

Lovely Africa: I’m anemic too, I’m older though, I been taking collagen, I need to take iron and zinc!

Rosè X: I'm hoping to get iron infusion injection in 2018 every six months rather than taking pills. I heard that beet root , pomegranate and grape fruit are rich in iron

Ksenia Galina: biotin can break you out. you need to drink more water if you taking iron and biotin

Chris jones: Finally don't have to stand alone on the green smoothie... I laterally hate the taste or teh fact it's a green smoothie unless you add a natural flavor to it.

ADVENT: Your hair looks great...the audio was a little 'low'...maybe it is the new camera?

Amy Haight: I just bought natures bounty hair skin and nails gummies, do you think it would be okay to take it at the same time i take my iron supplements? Or should i wait a bit before?

Tiffany Walker: I don’t like spinach in my smoothies it taste too tangy. I use kale instead. It’s much more mild taste. Good luck

Eva x: I think my anemia is the reason my hair is thinning and becoming less curly :/

tsweetness4eva: Have you tried the smoothies from the 10 day green smoothie challenge?

Patricia Strong: Try evening primrose with biotin it works

CinziaXx: Hi thanks for your video I have 1 question: how long did you have take CENTRUM Woman ? 1 year ?

Hayley Giuliani: Thanks fr posting

Debrina Creates: Do the Nature Made iron tablets have that normal metallic iron taste? I'm really trying to find an iron supplement that doesn't taste or smell that way. It makes me nauseous.

Stephanie Dominguez: So I am taking centrum as well.. so I should also take vitamins on the side?

Lizzie Clay: Happy New Year.

Ahyaros Arellap Adonos: Hi..i would like to ask why you still drink mother nature multivitamins if you are taking sentrum gummie?!..is it okay to drink take that two vitamins at the same time? I will appreciate if you reply...

BlessedandBeautiful 83: At 2:12 I hear a scary sounding “blah” was that intentionally? Lol your hair has grown a whole lot. I remember the curly girl videos, when you stopped. You seemed so disappointed but it helped me because I stopped shortly before seeing your post. Lol I was so mad at myself for jumping on that crazy hair band wagon. Tfs.

Aida Abessine: I'm 16 years old can I take them too??

His Beloved: Do you have a update?

SEANA SPARKLE: So did the doctor recommend that you take those 65mg Iron pills twice a day? I was having some issues with my hair and believe it was due to low iron and started taking those iron pills, but just once a day and they caused my face to break out in small bumps all over. Then I stopped taking the pills and my face cleared up immediately. So then I had to take the pills like one every other day so my face would not really break out. My mom thought that maybe 65mg was too much for me to be taking. But it still helped my hair.

Janiya Mcduffie: I'm 12 and a anmica

Simplici-T's Temple: Raisins
