Boss, lady is here to to give you some training: okay, we're going to talk about the different kinds of hair and how they are promoted or marketed to all of us on the internet. Let'S start with the whole, oh, the the main discussion remy versus virgin. So this is all in context of human hair. The wigs that i sell and i work with will always be human hair, they're, synthetic and there's human hair. Synthetic is obviously like man-made human hair is obviously not it grows out of people's heads. Okay, but then there's like little subcategories under each one, so under our human hair, there's gon na be subcategories of remy virgin and non-remy. I wish i had like a little chalkboard and i could like write notes. Let'S talk about remy for a minute, i'm sure you've heard about remy hair. Well, roomy hairs, human hair, it's great hair, but what you need to know about remy hair is that it is so it's great hair. It'S human hair, 100, human hair. The great thing about remy hair is that it's all from one donor, that's the most important thing. Well, there's two important things about room here: remy hair has one donor, so it came from one person. The cuticles are intact and it is um all flowing in one direction so when they tie the hair to a weft or to whatever um this lace or silk, it's going to flow better and it's not going to tangle as easily so remy hair is great. Now there's also non-remy hair, so we got remy hair over here from one donor, cuticle aligned all one direction: it's not going to tangle um, there's different grades of that kind of hair, but we're not going to go into that. We'Re just gon na keep it simple. Okay, remy hair and then there's non-remy, hair non-remy hair is also human, hair, 100 human hair, so non-remy hair. The difference between remy and non-remy is simply the fact that non-remy can come from so many different sources. Um there's some scary sources out there there's some really disturbing sources of non-remy hair, i'm not going to say that they all are, but we're not going to go into that non-remy, uh and remy hair can they can both be processed? They can be colored, they can be cut, they can be styled with heat blah, blah blah blah blah, but the difference between remy and non-remy or remy and non-remy is one donor. Multiple donors, okay. So whereas this one's going to be lower quality, you're going to see some split ends, it's going to tangle easier. It'S not going to look and flow the same remy one donor, all one donor, all cuticle intact flowing in one direction, pretty hair, okay, and it typically will last longer okay. Now, let's, let's go go a step further, the best hair that you can get. In my opinion, there might be other sources, but the main ones um the remy hair, and then you can go a step further with virgin hair, so virgin hair means it hasn't been chemically processed. So it's the same thing as remy. Hair comes from one donor, cuticle intact, everything's aligned, gon na flow, beautifully all the things. No, you know tingling depending on the quality of the hair and how well you take care of it, but virgin hair hasn't been processed so chemically so typically virgin hair is going to be your best quality and typically it's going to be um. It dries probably kind of somewhat wavy, because most hair will dry in a wave of some sort. It hasn't been like colored or anything like that. Nothing chemically deposited, it hasn't been permed hasn't been straightened um, so that is kind of a little bit more difficult and more expensive uh top of the line hair, the virgins, the ones that have yet to be deflowered, remy's still great too remy, is probably gon na. Be permed, it might be colored, it might be straightened. Okay, those are those are the that's the quality of hair that, i hope you will understand, will always come from my hands. So you've got your human hair remy, not around me. When you have remy, you can go step up to virgin hair, which is even better now when you, that is the hair that i source, that doesn't necessarily mean when i ship it to you, it's going to remain virgin. I deflower them. That'S what i do. I'M such a dork there's also something you can get called a human hair blend. The blend is typically 50 non remy hair to remember is not from one donor: it's not the good stuff. Okay, it's not a good step um and then it's also got a mixture of synthetic hair and what synthetic hair is, if you don't know, is it is a um man-made strand. So then they blend those two together and um a lot of times. You'Ll see the term heat defiant or heat resistant, hd or hr. Now i'm not saying those are bad, but i honestly wouldn't buy that over just a regular synthetic piece because any blend or any synthetic you can't color. You can't customize. You can't do anything with and with heat heat defiant or human hair blend or 50 50 or whatever it may be. Not only can you not color it, you can use heat on it, but it's just not going to last as long and from what i remember. Um from owning heat defiant pieces, which i never will anymore um, why do you have one but um they don't last very long, especially if um, if you're wearing them often and it's touching, like you're, the nape of your neck or your shoulders or there's heat. You know or rubbing against a shirt it matters up so easily, it's beautiful when you first get it, but it's just there's not a lot of wear that happens there um, so you'll have to be constantly turning over your pieces and changing your cap. You know i'm not trying to bash on synthetic hair. I think synthetic hair is great, especially if you have short pixie hairstyles, because um they hold their style like perfectly um. Now, eventually, you do have to replace them, because they'll get matted and all the things, especially if you live in oklahoma, where the wind blows like 100 miles an hour. How long will my human hair piece last well, that's kind of a loaded question. If you go to my frequently asked questions that i have on my website, i think we put it can last up to a year or two years um, but it honestly just depends on how. Well, you take care of your hair if it's a stacked, hair piece, it should last i mean sometimes they might not last but six months, if you are typically blonde and the all of my caps have bleached knots, which means um that the integrity of the knot Is not as strong so if you're not taking care of your hair, your lace and you're, wearing it to the gym or swimming or sleeping in it or you're rough on it or you aren't using the right products or you're, touching it a lot or when whatever Um, it might not last longer than six to eight months. This is something that you have to remember is that owning a luxury hairpiece like these is like owning a luxury car which means you're, not gon na put anything but premium gasoline in it. I.E, really good hair products. You'Re, just gon na take really good care of it, but rotating your wigs is also another good thing. Um, because you're not getting so much wear out of one piece. Take care of the knots make sure you're not tugging at the lace, and just because i say six to eight months, that doesn't typically mean that you throw it away after six to eight months. This hair is good hair. This hair should last forever, but the integrity of the cap is what i'm associating my answer to. So there are ways for you to get an oil change on your bentley. Okay, you can get your hair hand uh re-ventilated, which means, if you're shedding, which is typically what happens. First, is you'll shed at the hair part where you're styling your hair um. You can have hair tied right back in that matches your style, the color and everything. I don't do that myself. I would love to learn how to do it myself and i have paid to be trained to do it myself, i'm not there yet, so we will get there eventually, but right now, i just need to you know have enough time to you know: take a piss Every once in a while and sit down, you know kind of thing excuse my language, you also like um. If your cap, let's say you get fraying at the lace and it's just not wearable or you tear the lace or there's a hole in the lace. There are services out there that will restore your wig just because your beautiful hair, the cap has been through some things, does not, it doesn't ever mean you need to get rid of it. It'S still beautiful hair, it just needs some tlc and we aren't all necessarily able to give it that and we don't even know that we could have it done, but there are people that do that. So just make sure you do your research. I hope this was helpful. Just know that um don't ever get scammed out, there's so many scammers out there trying to sell hair. I'M not here to be the only person that sells you hair when you go out there looking for a piece, if i don't have what you need, i want you to be able to go out there and find a good piece. That'S not going to be crap! So that you're not turned off by hairware, because we're here to normalize hairware, regardless of who you are how old you are your age, your race, your health condition anything everybody should be allowed to proudly wear their hair, regardless of what's underneath. So that's what i'm here to do. I love you all happy wiggy wednesday and um. If you have questions post them here, we will answer them vp or i will all right bye. Ladies love, you you
