* This is a sponsored video by HerGiven Hair, However, all opinions are my own and I only recommend products that I firmly believe are worth the investment.

Hey guys today, I have for you a tutorial on how I got this big voluminous hair. So if you're interested stay tuned, so I bet you would have never guessed if I wouldn't have told you, but this is a wig. Yes, it's a u-part wig from forgiven hair and I've done a few videos using their clippings, but recently they launched a. U part collection and I'm super excited to share it with you guys. So this unit comes with a few extra combs and Clips and an elastic band for further customization, as well as a very helpful guide for you to read on your unit. Now. Here is the construction of the unit, as you can see there plenty of combs within the unit to be sure of a secure fit. Now the capsize for me is as small and the texture that I prefer in the hair is oily, which best resembles my own hair type, which is 3c for a now. First, I'm going to show you how I prep my hair before installing the you part unit, because I want to make sure that this comes as a protective style and that my hair is protected and well moisturized. First, I'm going to secure my hair in a low ponytail and I'm just going to go ahead and place the unit on my head, as if I were going to wear it now, I'm just trying to get an idea of how much hair I actually need. For my leave out now that I have an idea of how much hair I'm going to leave out, I'm just going to section my hair according to the shape of the? U part so basically, it's going to be a perfect fit whenever I place the unit on my head. So when I'm done sectioning my hair, this is what it looks like now, I'm going to miss my hair with some water and then I'm going to seal that in with a cream and a light oil, then I'm going to start flat twisting my hair. According to the sections intended for my leave out now that I'm done with the front, I'm just going to go ahead and twist all the ones in the back to the back. Now, let's solve the wig, so her given hair always makes sure that their hair is already cleaned upon arrival and I'm pleased with the texture. But I just want a little bit more volume and definition in the curls. So I rinse the hair and I'm going to style it section by section here: I'm just sectioning off the hair into workable sections and I'm going to apply a generous amount of kinky curly knot today, leave-in, which is what they recommend for this hair and I'm going To apply this product with my fingers, just finger combing it as I go and, as you can see it is super super easy. My fingers just glide right through the hair. The hair is super super soft, and it reminds me a lot of my very own hair, which is very impressive and what's really impressive, there is little to no shedding now for my styler, I'm just going to use a little bit of shame, oysters, jbco leave-in to Each section of the hair just for a little bit of moisture definition and a little bit more weight to the hair, and I'm just going to continue that process throughout the entire unit. Until I am done when I'm done, I use a hooded dryer to dry the hair until it's 100 % dry, when it's 100 % dry, I'm ready to install the unit, but first I'm going to cut out the? U part of the wig. Hence the name. U part, this is where my leave out is going to be and when I'm done cutting that out. This is how the wig looks once it's cut and ready to wear now. This is definitely optional, but to fer to protect my hair, I'm going to go ahead and apply a stocking cap to half of my head. Now I'm just going to go ahead and place the wig on my head and secure the combs exactly where the partings were made to fit when I'm comfortable with the fit of the wig. I'M just going to go ahead and untwist. My leave out to blend with the wig, as you can see the textures match perfectly so when the leave out isn't twisted, I'm just going to go ahead and conceal the wig by blending my hair, and I find that the more I separate the twists, the more It matches with my texture, so I'm just going to go ahead and brush my real hair over the you part of the wig and I'm going to apply a little bit of edge control, not too much. But I just want to smooth things down and keep them tamed, and this is how it looks when I'm all done blending and separating and Sling. You know the whole nine. So this is how it looks when I'm all done well. I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial if you did go ahead, give it a thumbs up comment subscribe also, if you're interested in this unit, all of the information will be down below in the description box, and I will see you guys in the next video peace
