Diy Off White Laces!?!?

Full process of me figuring out how to put the off white over-lace into air force ones.

We'Re already this close to 100k, i'm blown away this channel has grown faster than i ever could have imagined it hasn't even been a month yet so thank you to everybody who subscribed and if you aren't subscribed. It'S a it's a it's a! How, with we're going to learn together, i've never done this before so you're going to see my mistakes. If i make them and uh everything else in between size, 17, air force ones, aka boats we're gon na attempt to put some off-white laces going around the shoe. You know those like laces, they look like noodles. They go over that the off-whites have, but before we get into that, follow me at tick, tock and instagram jake palino, but i am trying to move over to youtube. Make that my main home so before you do that please subscribe! I really have no idea how to do this, so if it goes completely wrong, it's gon na go completely wrong, so we're just gon na figure. This out, together all thread awl a whole bunch of paracord leather hole puncher. You guys have seen this before, and these little eyelet things first step is to go around and mark uh where the holes go or where i think they go. I want one like, i think, like right, there's good right here here. Let'S make that one a little higher here, oh and then i don't know here here here here here yeah here - is that good, let's find out, i didn't want to unlace them, but i can't get the whole puncher in there if they're laced up. So i have to unleash them: big pull bastard now comes the scary part, see how ugly that mirror is. I found that on the street position it over art uh, it doesn't reach. How am i supposed to do it if it doesn't reach? Damn we run into our first issue, as you can see, the hole punch does not reach, so i think we're just gon na like do it with the knife. I don't like this we're gon na do this on my practice shoe first, because this is uh much more risky, now shove it in there turn it around a little bit, ow sharp all right. So we got the rivet we got the eyelet in. But how do i clamp it down now? Is the problem squish it on there and i think if we like, give it a good squeeze, it's it doesn't move it's easy. I guess. Maybe we can do this, let's give it a shot. Man, that's not pretty. Look at that does that fit yet: oh, it does fit and shove this on there yeah and it's in our first hole giggity now for the other, six five, six, it's seven! So the time lapse didn't catch. That uh. I made a whoopsie, my exacto knife slipped and now i have a huge gash on my shoe yeah, that's not good! Now, i'm sweating, it just barely covers it. It worked we're good, so we have all the eyelets in, but some of them aren't clamped down. Yet these two right here and this one there's just no chance - i can reach them with the clamp. This would be a good time to show you what the clamp actually does. So you have these little eyelets right. This is what i put into the shoe. How do i show you this see? It'S it's in the clamp there when you clamp it it crushes it, and it like makes it so it won't come back out of whatever you put it in now, the bottom's all scrunched up and it's stuck in whatever you put it in so to clamp those Three down: i have a super, sophisticated idea, rock and a hammer, so i'm gon na put the rock where the the eyelets are so the rocks right here now. Oh i mean it worked, but it smushed it. It worked it's a little bit smushed, but it doesn't matter all of the eyelets are in and set so now we have to go and put the little all thread through the holes and then lace them up. I don't know how i'm going to get the threads to stay, maybe glue. I don't know we're going to learn together, got the thread through it and then i'm gon na glue it to this part of the sole and then put the insole back on it. I don't like that idea. Actually what if i made a loop that went through both holes now we have a circle like this: we're gon na feed it through both holes, see how that goes. So that kind of worked you can see like it goes. It goes through here down underneath the insole up on this side and then another loop over here. So that should be good. I mean they're not going anywhere. I'M also going to add a little bit of super glue like inside the hole just to keep the thread in the same spot. Just like that, i have all the threads. Why do people snap do not snapchat call me ever it's a mess inside and before i go ahead and put the insole in i'm going to let that glue dry a little bit, because i don't want to put the sole in and then just drag all the Stitching back through the holes so we'll give it like five minutes. Insole is in all the loops stayed in, so i think that's it. I think we did it. I have no idea how to tie the off-white laces part, so we're just gon na, like figure that out so here we have our final product. It took forever to lace these things. I could not figure it out for the life of me. It'S like a puzzle. To be honest, i'm really not a fan of this. I think it looks kind of goofy, maybe like i need a thicker rope or something like that. This power cord that i have in there right now is more of just a in place for whatever i choose to do. Finally, but this is and not feeling it so far, i'm also going to actually customize these like paint them and stuff like that. So that might help too the holes came out pretty clean. The glue is dried so that cord isn't going anywhere really. Does that look better? I can't tell i don't know i like that a little better. I think i don't know how to tie them. I can't figure it out, so in conclusion we did it, but i'm not a huge fan of it.
