Quick Weave Over Locs

What it do booze, it's your girl, canada, welcome back to my channel in today's video, i'm going to be showing you guys how i got this quick weave over my locks um. This was my first and only time doing this to my last, but i really love how it came out, it's so nice and flat and cute and yeah. So let's get into it: okay, yeah! So i'm about to do a quick weave over these locks real fast. I'M tired, i'm not in the mood, but i got a birthday party to go to so i need to perk up i'm just gon na slick, my edges back a little bit with this eco styler dude. I did quick weeping so long, yeah, my glue it it's been a minute all right, um, i'm just gon na take. I guess these i'm gon na twist them. So let's do them twist them! Oh wow. I know he was on hold, though we hung up hey. You hear me, then we're gon na attach it to this one here. I really don't want to attach this one, because it's thinning it's a little thin and i don't want it to break so we're gon na leave that one out, then i'm gon na just twist. This one like that just gon na, because you don't want it to be too bulky, that's why i ain't really trying to braid it all right. So i don't know what this so it's looking like, but you're just going to twist it all the way around to the back like so then i'm going to put a rubber and put a rubber band on this here. Rubber pan man, all right, gon na, do that and then we're gon na. Do it again on this side with these two okay. So after i got the other side twisted, i went ahead and pulled my locks back into a ponytail. You can use bobby pins to um clip your to hold your uh locks down, so it could be nice and flat if your hair is like not freshly retwisted. My hair is pretty uh flat already, so i didn't have to do the bobby pins, but if you need to get your locks to lay down a little more uh using a bobby using bobby pins will help you get it nice and flat. So you know you just pull them back and then bobby, pin them down or whatever so uh. Next, as you can see, i added some of this uh hair wrapped paper around my locs, and i was just using the eco styler gel to get it to stick and lay down so yeah. You just want to wrap your locks up real nice and good to help protect your hair from the glue and then once i finish doing that i'm going to go ahead and put a wig cap on. I think i used black because the paper was white. I usually get like black paper or gray. You know darker paper, but the white was all they had. So that's what i used so i'm going to put that cap on and then i'm going to put another cap on which is going to be brown so that um, the lace on my closure. Could you know look good because you don't want to have a black cap under your lace and then i use two caps also just for extra protection from the glue. So next now we're going to sew down our cap to those little anchor twists that we did on the side. That was the point of the twist so that we could sew down the um cap. So that way it won't move. It'Ll stay put once you go in and cut the excess cap off all right y'all, so i got it um sewn down or whatever bit okay, and i just got these bundles. I colored. I made a hot glue gun wig with this, but i didn't like the color, so i took it apart where you get the color and i'm gon na put it back my hair, so i'm just gon na use this little makeup or whatever and put it on. My cap and on my leaf okay, all right, you want it really tight yeah, i'm gon na pull it tight yeah. I don't want it to be loose all right. Your gon na be lifting ain't gon na be mad. Okay, i'm really lucky. I'M gon na show this to the cap cuz. I don't want to sew my lock so through my lap, so i'm gon na try to just go through the cap and let's see how that worked out for us all right. So we got one side done and now this is why i like to do a half a half and you're gon na pull it over blue. What what do you want? I won't get on camera. You act just like jerrod, say: hey, yo, hey yo! I want to be nosy, i want to be in the camera. All right go about your business below leave me alone, so anyways i like to do it halfway. So now you can pull this side over as tight as you want my partying in the same spot, but that's okay. We could just report it. Okay, so basically, with the frontal what i did was well, it's not a frontal. It looked like it's a half frontal, probably a frontal that i couldn't have so it's a little bit bigger than a closure, but a little smaller than the frontal but anyway. So what i did with that um, as you can see, i placed it down and i used some duct clips to keep them in place. I sewed one side down from from the side from front to the middle of my head and then i cut it. Then i started over on the other side. Instead of going all the way around that way, you can pull pull it down to be as tight as you want, and that way you can make sure it's laying nice and flat say hi hi camera. My kiss you got barbecue sauce your hands smell, like barbecue, sauce, okay, get out, go and take your love all right. So as far as how i'm going to lay the tracks, i'm just doing it closure to closure. In the beginning, um i'm going to be using my blow dryer to help it dry, but in a second you're going to see my blow dryer go out you also. If you ain't got no blow dryer, it's okay, but it's nice to have one because it helps it dry quicker and that way the um your tracks won't be kind of slipping from you trying to brush it or whatever - and i didn't have my 30 second glue. I had like the cheaper glue, so i really needed my blow dryer y'all, to help me dry it, but it ended up working out even though my blow dryer broke but anyways like i was saying so. I'M gon na lay the tracks closer to closure and then once i get to the point that i'm running out of closure, i'm gon na start laying them straight across which you will see um. So okay. So at this point, i'm at the middle top of my head and as you can see, i'm laying the tracks straight across rather than closure to closure, and that's all you're gon na do you're just gon na finish that little gap up with straight across um tracks Or whatever um i ended up, i must have ended up losing the club y'all, because this video is way back from march and it's december i'm just trying to get all my 2021 videos out before the new year. I don't want to be trying to do no old stuff in the um in the new year, so yeah you're just going to close that up straight across with you know straight across tracks or whatever - and this is you know this - is it once it was done Now i'm about to get ready to cut and style it and i lost another clip y'all, i don't know i must have deleted it. I don't know what happened to it, but i can't find it so you're not going to actually get to see me style it, but you just could see me cut it real, quick, a little bit, i'm just going to flat iron it and probably use my wine To throw some little curls in it, i'm going to use my got to be glue spray to lay down my uh frontal and baby hairs or whatever and yeah. This is the final. Look you guys this! Is it right here it came out nice and cute um. I don't know if y'all saw that little space, but i ended up adding an extra track at the top, because i could see my cap showing just a little bit. I missed a little spot or whatever so yeah, but this is the final look. You guys, i hope this video was helpful. I know it was because i did that but yeah.
