How To Fix A Scratchy Wig - Lace Front

This product is a wig wearer must have! I trialed it and it feels wonderful to soften the rough feel of wig lace front edges on your skin. It’s quick and easy as well and reusable! Watch until the end of the video to get a bonus tip you won’t want to miss. I have Alopecia and wear wigs daily and want to share comfort and inspiration to others with hair loss.

Hi girls: I have a problem solving solution here. I haven't tried it, but today's my first day I'm going to try it. I'Ve used stretchy nylon caps before usually in the winter, as a buffer between my bio hair or my scalp, and the wigs to make lace, fronts more comfortable and all wigs. And then I've also used a wig grip, which is a Velveteen and it has adjustable sizing and both of those I got from Amazon, but on a weave chat. A gal recommended for lace fronts that work for her. She swore with him. Is this I'm putting it back in the package, so you can see the box Brandi. She purchased this silicon tape to put on wig front. That is, lace and lace might be hard and rough on your forehead, and it's intended for medical use, but there's no medicine on the tape it's just a piece of which is what we're trying to do is find something that will go along that lace, wig front That'Ll buffer that scratchiness and I got the width that is 1.6 inches by 120 inches long and it's in a roll bucks. This for you it's on a clear backing and it's adhesive on one side: I've trimmed this width to get ready for this demo. But here with my finger now, I'm just going to pull back that adhesive to show you okay. So when you're trimming the size that you want, you don't have to use the whole whip see so I'm saving quite a bit there by not going all the way across. So I'll get two or three strips from this one width which is nice. So the idea is to get to the wig front. Okay, lay that down and move any hair. You have from the wig away from that area that you're gon na apply the adhesive. You don't want hairs in there if you can help it. It'S not that difficult to do really and then I have already peeled off a piece and measured from here to here before the wedding starts on each side. Okay, show you closed up okay, so you had the lace right and then the wedding on either side. So I have the width just of where the lace front is trimmed. Now I'm gon na place it right along the front edge, hopefully that'll buffer, that scratchiness to my skin, and you can leave the backing on and do this slowly if you would like - or you can do like I'm doing whichever works for you doesn't have to be Gorgeous just has to be a buffer. I'M gon na lay that down on where it meets the weft, I'm just pressing it, and if you make a boo-boo it's one of those things you could peel off again. The adhesive isn't just enough to stay on the wig comfortably, all right, I'm just enjoying it off camera here, hi and just by putting this on my forehead, you know how I dive into these wigs. That'S what I'm doing now lift up the camera. So you couldn't see me just by doing this, I'm not kidding you, no wonder she ran it and right. It feels like butter against your skin compared to that scratchy. They call it lace front. I wish it was soft as lace. It just isn't um, and I mean I could run this up and down and it is smooth as all get-out. I can't see myself well enough without my glasses. It tell you if this wig looks any good whatsoever, but regardless I just want you to know about this product, I don't even have to wear it the whole day. To tell you, there's no question. In my mind this is a must-have. I hope you guys understand that I don't care. I think this was like $ 20, which sounds like a lot for tape. But when you feel this - and you know you can get three wits out of maybe six inches - that's three wears and then you can leave this tape on your wig. If you like, or you can put it on the backing again reuse it, but you got ta, get disguise to get this. Alright just want to leave you in the loop. You know, I love ya, talk to you soon! Bye, bye,

chere1020x2: Thank you for the great tip!

Jill Creagh: Thanks Karen, I know JUST what you mean, the lace itches me like crazy! But not all of my wigs do this. I’ve acquired all of them 2nd-hand so I don’t know if that is a cause (wear n tear)? A friend also places a strip of the tape along the parting, especially if it’s a mono part, as it helps to make it even more natural looking, if you have bio hair. It is a great tip, have a go for yourself.

Cathy Wright: Karen, glad I stayed on for the bonus tip. I don’t have any lace front wigs.....yet. But I do have trouble with sliding. I will have to try it

Linda p.p.: Great idea, though I do not have problems with lace fronts, sometimes other areas can scratch.

Gerri Miller: Lord yes...i love to wear wigs sometimes...they are so fun and i don't have to style my hair...lol That itch is real. Thx hun

Kill My Dream Dorothy: Karen, thank you so much!! Does this tape destroy the lace though? I’m worried about that on my not so cheap wig.

IIAMMYALASHAY: Awesome video ! Thank you so much Karen

Christy A: What a great idea! However, I have one question. I have very fair skin, and I was wondering if this shows through the lace and makes it look darker. Thanks!

M1ss W1nter: Brilliant! Thanks so much

Danielle McDonald: thank you for the tip! I wonder if it would work around the perimeter of other wigs that have a basic cap. Noriko is so scratchy.

whimz W: I need this for mine

Heidi Creed: I'll be buying this.
