Watch out Janet Jackson here I come! Janet Collection Lace Front "Mimi" wig in color 1B. If you wanted the "Mommy" wig but couldn't find her because she has been sold out, the "Mimi" wig is a great alternative! Short and sexy curls, easy to maintain, and style!

Oh, you don't deserve. You heard he gon na regret that he hurts you coach, hello, everyone and welcome to the beauty zone. I'M Felicia! Today'S tutorial is going to be on a short we. Yes, ladies, I am going back to the short wigs and this is a wig that all of you guys are familiar with. I'M probably the last person on this earth to jump on the Janet collection, mommy or me me wig, train! That'S right! I'Ve seen a lot of videos on the YT, and I remember back in January when this wig was on a particular website. It was only $ 14.99 well, I didn't have the big vision to see that you can actually work that wig and I hate it, but I missed out on the 40 19 ideal, but, however, I did pick one up again we're talking about the Janet collection. I hope you guys can see this Janet collection for lace, mimi wig. Now the difference is between the mommy and the mimi is that the Mimi actually has lace to the front lace in the back, and this is a color number one B on the other thing that I've noticed and just looking at the videos. As far as the differences between two wigs would also be the back, and I'm going to show you guys, the back on the mimi wig is a lot shorter, but the front still looks the same and again this is they call it a full lace, but it's Actually, not full lace and I'm going to show you the construction of the cap in a minute. I'Ve already cut the lace, but you have lace in the front and they also gave you lace in the back um. I didn't use any of my lace because I don't need it and I cut it off, and this is it right here: it was a softer, thinner, type of lace. Alright, let's take a look this years again: okay, let's take a look at the inside of the cap. Now I hope you guys are doing wonderful this week today is Friday we're wrapping up a work week here. Alright, this is the back. Let me start with the back: there are no combs throughout this entire wig, none and probably really needed some, but that's, okay! You know we can bobby pin her down, but you have your adjustable straps. This right here is where the lace was, and I don't really know why they actually had lace back here in the back, because there's really not enough hair to cover up the lace. If you want it to attach it, so I just cut it off and then on the front. You have probably about a half inch of lace right here, half an inch and it goes practically from ear all the way to ear. So you know, I really don't see the purpose of that either, but I could not find the mommy wig. So I decided to pick up the Mimi because they are very similar again, except for the difference would be the back, and that did pick her up the beauty world here locally and I will post the information as far as the number and everything for that location. Here locally, as well as you can pick it up at beauty, my hair, calm, JJ, he's wonderful. He actually has the Mimi wig on line. You could pick it up for under $ 50 as well as he does um match any prices. So if you have seen the Mimi wig for less call them up or email him and he'll be more than happy to meet that competitors prices so again, beauty my hair, calm and again I'll put the info at the bottom as well. As you can pick it up here locally at beauty, world, ok, alright, so we're going to go on and get it to her and again this is a 1b now what I've decided to do for the back is want to go on and super taper down in The back when you super tape, because in the back because nobody can see it, it's you know super tapers shinier than the walkers, and you know I love the walkers, but it's fine. Nobody will be able to see that back. So this is good. It'S a stronger hold than the walkers um, so I'm going to go on and hook her up hook, her up hook her up hook her up and what we want to do is we want to start I'm going to start with the front first and we'll actually Bobby pin her down first, I have my standard black wig cap on and make sure I finally got my hair. We braid it. So that's a good thing - and I just put some pins here just to secure this cap, because this cap is a little looser than a normal cap that I wear okay, so we're going to put her on and I'm going to make sure that I match up. My tabs here pull the mirror back just a little bit more so that you guys could see me, and I want to make sure that my ears are not going to be covered up by the lace. So, that's why it's important for you to make sure that you have your tabs right and see she's very short in the back. But we have a trick for that and I'm going to show you that so I'm going to use the smaller bobby pins that I talked about in a previous video and we're going to go on and bobby, pin her down. Okay guys, I have her on this. Is the Mimi week by danik collection? Again I bobby pin the perimeter of the wig with those smaller bobby pins. Actually, I'm all out. I was searching for some, but I'm all out to secure her. So there's no need to use adhesives on the front. The only place I use adhesives and that will be the back and that is because Jenna collection, wig caps, are a little bit small on me, and so I had to pull her down. But the wig cap does stretch is very stretchy, so I pulled her down and just use the super tape again to lay her down alright. So now we're going to get to the styling part because um it definitely is not the 20s or 30s, but this would be cute if it were going to get to styling her and the only product that I'm going to use at this point will be water. That'S it we're just going to try the water first saturate, her down style, her see how that works, and if I need more than that, then I'll use some form of a product. Okay, alright, so stay tuned. Keep it locked right here, I'm going to get to the styling okay guys here we go. I had to saturate the hair at least three separate times before the curls start to formulate, but there's so much that you could do with her. She does shed - and I don't know if I mentioned this, but this is remy hair, so it is 100 % remy hair, very gorgeous a really really nice wig. I think you'll like her and the possibilities are endless, so check her out hi guys, I'm back with the finished product. This is her. This is Mimi. I think that she is ultra ultra chic and sexy. So here's the front - and I did end up having to put a little bit of product on her just to make her curls a little more defined. Let me show you what I use. I use Tresemme, 24-hour body mousse and just a little bit. I want to show you how much or how little I use cuz, I don't want you guys over. You may have to hold the carry this way. Okay, just about that much and just ran my hands together and just put it put it through the hair. I'Ll put it through the back and just that little bit made the difference to really you know define to find the curls. So hopefully I don't have a whole bunch of mousse all over the place. Okay, so I want to show you the back, because the back is really really cute and again using super tape. I was able to attach the back: that's the back okay, so this is Mimi. She is gorgeous and I don't know guys this might be my permanent. Do for the summer, because again it's so quick and easy! You know you can use water and just using your hand, hands manipulate the style. How you want it to be you've, seen other people use flowers in their hair or barrettes or headbands. There'S so many different things that you can do with a short do like this, and no one's ever going to believe that you know hey that you have a you know a wig on there's, no way that anybody would ever believe that you have a wig on And again, you could just keep styling and manipulating her light to death. I was working with her and I mean she just has so many possibilities. Um for you. You know just so so many possibilities. Alright, guys that's going to do it. I love, love love this wig so I have 3 of them. I've gotten SO many compliments, and you're right you can do much to jazz them up even more.
