Hello, my beautiful crafty friends, it's Lorette, the Vintage paper girl. Welcome to my workspace. How are you all, I hope, you're all really well welcome, welcome, I want to say a big welcome to all my brand new subscribers, as well as lots of hugs and kisses and love, and thank yous and all those wonderful things to my continuing followers. All of you who are my girlfriends and guy friends, I want to thank you all for watching me and commenting and um. You know just always be in there for me. I really really appreciate it. As you know, this has been an extremely busy time for myself and my family and, as you know, we lost my son-in-law and then we have been in the middle of this massive project and for those of you who um saw my video, which would be Tuesday Morning, you saw the video of my Studios getting ready for their flooring. So as we speak, the I'm making this on Tuesday morning as we speak, the flooring is going in today and starting in the little Studio into the big one. So that's all I can talk about all I can think about and also trying to figure out where I'm going to put things, but I really haven't thought a lot about it, because I'm one of those that I know where things go as I go. Um planning, sometimes I mean I know where the basic Furniture pieces are going, but I really don't know where my different um pieces will go as far as like my papers and my ribbons and my laces, because I have so much of it. But you know in thought, as I was thinking um, I realized that I have a problem with visual clutter and when I was looking packing up my Sewing Studio. I realized I had none in there because everything was in a box or a container clear plastic. Of course, so I could see, but everything was very well contained. There was nothing sitting out, nothing poking out. Um I mean my Fabrics are all on the walls. I could just look over see what I needed grab it. You know everything was folded neatly and perfectly so, but I don't have that in my paper Studio. I noticed my paper studio is the exact opposite everything's sitting out things are all over the place there. I can find everything everything has a place, but it's all visually clutter, it's not contained within boxes or containers. It started out that way, but then I would say: oh I want this out, so I can see it. Oh I want that out. So I can see it and what happened was. I was seeing too much of everything. I noticed that, right now on this table down in my dining room that everything is around me and yes, I can reach for things and get them, but the Clutter is making at me absolutely nuts. In fact, it kills my creativity and it always has I've been this way. Since I was very little, I cannot handle visual clutter, probably because my mom was a neat freak and she had everything, organized and put away, and so my bedroom was always that way. My Apartments houses have always been that way, so this is the first time in my life with this paper, crafting that I don't have everything contained and put away in perfect little containers, so I'm not sure what I'm gon na do um some of this. I can't see putting it in containers, but some of it, I think, is going to have to be because otherwise I think I'm gon na go crazy, especially my papers. I think that they need to be all contained, put away neatly where I could see them in clear plastic but and marked, but I'm just gon na have to go without the. I need it all in front of me thing, because I think that is just killing. My creative Mojo big time so I think that's why it's been hard for me to also make videos, in addition to working in a smaller space than I'm used to I'm used to a full table top and um. I like working in a bigger space again, it's that visual clutter thing or that physical clutter, so what I'm gon na do today. I have no idea. I have lost my creative Mojo, I feel like I need to get going and I'm not really sure um. I made a few little um, I'm gon na move this to the side a few little scrappy strips, and these are honest to goodness scraps. I mean the tiniest teeniest tiniest little scraps that I just put all over some papers that I had in my scrap bucket and then I took out my um, my tiny, tiny little and I mean tiny, I'm gon na get it out here for you to show You this I made them from only I put one strip of lace on there and then filled it all in from my little scrap bucket here. So just using all these tiny little bits and pieces is how I made these. I don't have them decorated with anything in particular, yet I'm kind of waiting to see you know where they're gon na go if they're gon na go into this journal on a page which is entirely possible so um I was going to do a video today on These, but I I you guys have seen so much scrap everything. I'M sure this would just bore you to tears, because really all I did was take a piece of um, a scrap of paper or coffee dyed paperworks. Whatever you've got a tea dye, I need to switch over to tea diet papers. I need to find a good source for ordering tea dyed papers, because I find the coffee dyed paper is a little too dark for what, for My Shabby Chic, you know, I think it works good on my vintage stuff, but - and all I did was take a Piece of lace, let me see, let me find some lace I'll, show you what I did to make these there's nothing really big or difficult, or you know I just took one of my pretty laces and I um just glued it down and then covered it in Scraps just using my um, what do you call it my fabric so uh, I will say I'm a bit tired from all the packing. I my husband, and I and my daughter first started with my daughter and I and then my husband finished with us with me on the weekend. We just worked flat out for days and days on packing everything we are completely packed upstairs for those rooms and the sad part is as much as it's all packed the minute the floors are done. I have to unpack those rooms as quickly as possible into my news, two new spaces in order for my husband and Joe to finish the library and the guest room. I can't do anything in there until um clear that, so I was going to work on this today, but um. Maybe I'll just do a quickie on this and then we'll work in that in that journal. This is a process video. So what you see is my process. I am going to bring up my little clear mat, so I don't get my paint metal dirty because I want to have this now. The question is: what side do I want to work on? It'S just paper: it's not cardstock. So they're thin, I can make them heavy if I want to. I have also coffee dyed strips, and I think I think this one's okay. That way, if you see through it, you have pretty lace and there's pretty lace on the back. If you want to use them as something other than a belly band or a page um, let's see, is that going to come out come on you it's been sitting for days. I think it's gotten a little also got an air bubble. I probably need to add some more glue I like to keep this one very, very full grab. One of my little. I hear my kitty cats moving around here, I'm doing an early morning, video before the guys start the floors today, because it's going to get too loud for me to do a video. I will craft in here all day, I'll, probably work on my flip-flop Journal um and whatever other project you know comes across and Suits my fancy. I'Ve had to I bought some beautiful new kits. I wanted to share with you, but I'm unable to print them right now, because my printer is down here with me, but I don't have it hooked up yet so I got ta see what I got to do to get that in place. See if I can work on that, so I'm just gluing this on I'm not using hot glue. That would normally be what I would do as I would normally use hot glue on this. So how are all of you? How is your um wake thing going? I hope it's well. How was your weekend last weekend, I didn't get to ask you that, because I didn't do a video on Monday um just could not. We were too busy packing. I just couldn't fit it in. I didn't have any mental energy either. So it's pretty much used up so basically, after that all I did, I did grab some bits from the jar and pop them down. You know I cut them if they were too big or they feel like they weren't the right size. So I don't even know why I need to put a lead on that. I don't I'm actually going to keep that upside down. I think so I put that in the jar just gon na put a little little bits and pieces on it. Come back here you, this is some vintage. Well, most of the laces in here are vintage, SO I may go back and sew over these um. I haven't pulled my machine out here yet um, but I just am taking things out of the jar and putting it on here um. So you know, I think, that's just too long to use there you put white on there. You don't really see it. So you really want to work with some of the other laces, so I'm just looking to see. What'S in my little bucket, here's our creamier lace, maybe this would work. Some of these are pretty long bits and pieces that are. These are just scraps that you would normally throw away. I don't for this very reason, because you can just do that. I don't know if you could see what I'm what I'm putting on there but um. You know I'm starting to build up some layers and you would think why would she cut down those pieces? Well now, the last two um I started with kind of sparkly pieces. I think that I really like the Sparkles because of what the project is that they're going into so I used some sparkly net on these. Let'S put these in so this is going to be kind of a process video today, a little just play just playing just playing, I'm not really my Mojo's kind of flat, I'm having a little trouble coming up with anything totally inspiring. I mean I was inspired by some videos, but um I'll go back and glue it down better too, I will say it's really messy on your hands, but it's fun. It'S like being in kindergarten again. I just got a little fun time here. Let'S go like this I'll tell you the fun we've been having is keeping the cats out of every all my stuff, because it's sitting on a lot of it sitting on the floors in various rooms and uh Curious kitty. Cat mainly Tommy wants to know what I have in everything, and so we had to really quickly get some of it out into the garage um keep them out of it. So that was always that's always lots of fun. So I don't know if you could see, but we've got the Sparkles going in there. Let me stand up and see what we see. Can you see the sparkle? Oh yeah, you can a little bit just a bit, see that I really prefer making these videos in the morning. I have to say I like the light better, the afternoon lights kind of crazy because it comes right in here and it literally blinds me trying to do a video. So I'm really happy to be up early this morning. Didn'T sleep a whole lot last night, probably because I'm excited about the floors going in. I think I really think that's why I didn't sleep a whole lot. I was just so excited that we were finally getting to the floors in my Studios. Don'T get me wrong? We have all the floors down downstairs and not such a big, exciting thing now that you know I'm used to them, but I still look at them every day and think how much I love them and how happy I am to have them, because my floors were Worn out this house was a flip during that big recession we had and we we purchased it for a super good price, which normally we would never be able to buy the house, because now the price would be like out of our range with all the crazy Pricing going on in the country so in the world everybody's got Crazy Prices. It'S not just us. California is ridiculous. As usual, I would love to leave here, but as long as my daughter wants to stay with her daughters, we won't go anywhere. We want to be here for her and them, so I want to be around for Stuff everybody's hanging in there. Okay, oh my daughter and I are working on a brand new collaboration. You'Ll be seeing a video for it uh. We are doing some new um digital pieces. Together, it's going to be featuring my um antique pieces that I have with her digitals on top, so the bases will be all you know original pieces that I own that I've been buying or purchased or have had in my stash for a long time. Some of them are my personal things that are from the family, but anyway, so we're coming up. I think there's gon na be three new pieces. I think it's going to be called Leather and Lace, not Leather and Lace, Ledger and Lace, Leather and Lace; nope, not that um, so that's gon na be anyway we're super excited. She just finished them. We was, I looked them over, but I'm waiting on ink. I am out of ink um, I just realized. That is the reason I'm not printing uh. If, even if my husband and I hook up the printer, which I think he did already um, I don't have any ink. I'M waiting on my insta ink and I hope I have some coming. I'Ve got to get online today and check my account and see where I'm at. If I have anything coming, if not, I've got to contact them and say hey, because they sent me a number of ink cartridges that had nothing in them. They just said: oh, these cartridges are no good, well yeah they're brand new. You just send them to me. What do you mean? They'Re, no good, so not a happy camper. I tell you, I love my insta program except for right now when I really need it and I I can't print anything so I'm ah show off our new work. We just did together. So we're very excited about it. We'Ve been talking about it for a while and um. Finally, we're you know, part of getting our Shops going again is to start with the new digitals that we worked on together. We collaborated heavily on it and it's half for work and half mine, so that's her fabulous digitals on top of my pieces that you've seen me use many times, but no one seemed to be interested in them and - and we thought well now they have beautiful images With them and on them - and so I think you're going to find them very multi-used, you could use them for all kinds of things. I need something I need to cut down the side here. I'Ve got kind of a mess, so hopefully this gets me going pretty. I really like the sparkly bits. I think that really, for me just adds a little something right there there nope, I can't see it, but anyway, you see all the layers of lace. Now. The next thing to do would be either to add an image or a flowers or bling or something. But I don't want to I'm going to leave them very neutral and very basic, because I want to wait and see um what, where they're going to go and then I'll know what they'll need right. So, whether they're going to need pearls or they're going to need diamonds, diamantes um or what they're going to need, you know so we're kind of in a um kind of on a little holding. I want to see where that would go best. I think I like it up here, um so yeah that I'm gon na wait and see what, where they're going before I make that decision there we go my hubby's in the other room having his breakfast getting ready for the day. So I thought I'd get in here and Scoot and do a little video for you. So this is a scrap, my scrap bucket um strips, and I think these are going to be fun to use in my um foreign projects. Now I mean I could add some lace and some pearls - I see a little piece of white. I think I'll add this to that. This didn't make the thought of the bucket, so we'll just put it on there see. I could use this like in the middle or at the bottom, or you know like just depends on what um oops, I can add those there. I can add you know I could add some little Jewels like this. Well, not that one that sits up too high. I wonder if I have some flatter ones. I probably do I'm sure I have plenty of bling elsewhere, I'm going to look around in my bling boxes and see what I have, but I'm going to wait to see what um, where they go. So there we go. There'S that and guess what I forgot to check my time guys to see what time I started this today. I don't even know what time I started. My video. Let me see oh 19 minutes well I'll, just keep track or I'll try I'll try to keep track. So all right, we did those to start. So you get an idea. You know I can just keep building up layers, but I don't want to do any more, like I said until I figure out what um, where they're gon na go. So I've said that 20 times now I will move on all right. Let'S go over to our everybody's, been waiting for this flip-flop Journal. Now I have all of the um signatures. They are not sewn in yet because I still want to work on some of the signatures, so I think I'll start with this one. This is a good one to start with right here I have some white pages that need covering before I put that into the book. So, let's see I want to see what's here, what am I going to want to cover it with sort of lost when you stop on a project smack in the middle, you sort of lose your, so I'm going to kind of look through. These are things I've made put those off to the side, so this goes here. This is going to go in this signature, so this one is very blue. This one, where it just came out of a few little goodies to make there so where this is going to go um. I think, because that is a fold out, and this is all done - I will need to make something for here, but I have a signature which is this one here. Oh I heard Kitty with something he probably shouldn't have. Let me see what he's got Misty. Okay, just making sure now let me see this is very Rosy. Very pretty very soft right one for here seems like that's, not the right one. Let me double check make sure everybody got back where they're supposed to be, because you know it gets very confusing when you're working on these yeah. So I thought I would work on it as signature at a time set that off to the side where I can kind of still see it, and I have piles of paper next to me, although what I have next to me is another project which I was Going to do today, but I think I'll keep that for another one. Now I have a new kit by uh G Kerr uh. She did some beautiful backgrounds with some matching cards which would be lovely uh. I have to see. Oh yes, you know you guys. I think one of her cards would go beautifully in here. I'M thinking this one here that was her freebie for her group. So if you're not part of her Facebook group, you have to wait. I think a week or two before it'll be available to purchase on her website, but I'm thinking this would be great in her. I'M thinking this one I'll cut this out, we'll set it aside. Oh, by the way, I must be doing something right now that I've hit the 2000 plus viewers mark, because the uh YouTube police are out uh, you start getting your trolls who think they should tell you how to run your channel, and ah, that finally happened to Me so I can say I wasn't thrilled with it, but um I was told I spend too much time fussy cutting. I need to fast forward through the boring parts and I needed more content uh to make it worth people's while to watch and it's like. Well, you know what that isn't. My channel, I I think I sounded a little snarky in my last video and I apologize because it's like I don't do this to teach. I don't do this to you know, I'm just crafting and I invite you along to see my process hear what I think chit chat with you get to know you, I'm not here to teach um. I don't do those you know fast forward, edit it to death videos. I mean, there's nothing wrong with those. Don'T get me wrong. I enjoy them too um. Some of them are my favorites, but it's just not me. I don't know how to do any of that. Nor do I care to do any of that, I'm just here to craft and if you want to craft along with me, I would love it. I love that you're crafting or watching or listening or I'm keeping you company. That'S what I'm here for I'm not here to be some teacher to tell you the right way to do everything. This is just I've been crafting my entire life and uh professionally, and otherwise so and for fun and right now I because I've done it professionally. I got burned out and now I'm doing it just for the heck of it. I have made a lot of money doing my crafts over the years. This is just for fun. I do have a shop with my daughter but um. Now these are her background pages and aren't they gorgeous I'm looking for something cover this page with. That would look good with this. That would look good with that. Wouldn'T it that be lovely with that, I think it would similar in colors. Let me see what else is here: these are G's um, I'm not on her design team or anything. I really like this and it goes with like what's here, but I don't know that it goes with. What'S in the actual um checking the signature here. Well, I might be able to use this one in here too. So I'm thinking I'm looking at two now that I think might work yeah I was told I should pre-cut everything I you know all that good stuff and I'm like you know, that's not me and it's never going to be, and I'm not gon na. That kills. Your mojo faster than anything okay, so these are just the background Pages they're really pretty. Let me see a few and this is g-cur over on happiness in crafting. So if you want any of those, that's where you can go, go to get them do that for another page, maybe that one so we'll just take this one and we'll cover this. This is my process. I'M processed I'm figuring this out as I go, and I'm sorry if this bored that person that this is part of crafting you know you have to cut you have to pace. You have to Ink it's all part of the process. Why would you cut it out and when I was brand new, I didn't know how to do any of that. I didn't know how to Ink. I didn't know how to do anything. I didn't know that you might have to cut off your sides and readjust your papers. You know you have to learn these things so when I was new to this particular genre, so um. I am thinking, though, that I'm going to go a long ways here that won't be enough over there, but foreign okay yeah. I think that looks all right. So what I want to do now, sometimes I don't really want to I'm going to clip the corners, because I prefer that oh, I'm losing the handles on my coming off. Where my hands are tart. Oh, I slam my hand into the table between a table and a cabinet. Yesterday thought I broke it. So it's a bit bruised and a bit sore today. So if you hear me going ow ow, it's legit uh, my husband was quick for the ice, so I think he saved my finger, but oh boy, I don't have any strength in that hand today. I just want to. I just want to punch that ouch owie. I was thinking I would fill this up, but then I guess I'll have to cut it off. I didn't really want to. Let me get my ruler could do here. I think my glasses are dirty guys, I'm having trouble seeing as my vision. No, I think my glasses are pretty cleaning all right. So, let's figure this out. I want to put that on the edge and I want it to I'm only gon na. Have it Go part way, I think oh, am I because what's on the other side? Oh the same thing's on the other side. Hmm! What if I fold this in half so yeah, the um, the don't um! Don'T ink, don't you know police her out any speed it up. You know it's too slow taking too much time on a project. It'S like you know what, if I want to take a whole video to do one thing: that's my business fast forward. If you don't like what I'm making you can fast forward, I'd like to think that my people watch, because they like what I do. I if I start changing what I'm doing, I'm going to be back where I was and unhappy and then I'll just quit crafting it. So I'm just gon na do what I want to do and I'm sorry if it doesn't make everybody happy just realized. That'S too long and if I fold it up to make a pocket, I think it's going to be um. I got ta, see the back side, not the front side. So, let's just rip this off. I'M gon na know that a bit short, but I can always ink right and then I'll I'll just do the little Corners like I just did see there we go and I am going to Ink because it is part of my process you don't have to. If that's not your thing, you don't have to do it. It'S up to you. I do it to get rid of the white to age, to add Dimension, there's a whole lot of reasons we do this. I mean we do it to age this and which I really want this to look old. You know this is the whole point of this particular um Journal. So that's before I get going. I want to do that. It really. It really enhances like this, like ripped edge here, really brings it out. I don't know if we'll see it or not, we'll just have to see pardon my sniffles lots of dust. Oh, my goodness, I had a lot of books and magazines sewing books and magazines and quilting magazines and jewelry, making magazines and books on my shelves. In my sewing room and um. They never move I'm out of the Cubbies, and so they were so dusty and dirty. My poor husband and I were like oh this is like so dusty, crazy, bad, so we're both sneezing our brains out yesterday, sniffling taking our Benadryl, I was like, oh today, my voice is very raspy foggy froggy, I feel like gummy dick know. What your deal is. Oh it's cold down here last night, we've had some. We had rain yesterday and the day before, sprinkly showers, nothing big. We really needed a big old rainstorm where we live here and we didn't get it. I think other parts of the state got it. I hope they did because we need to fill our reservoirs and our dams and our rivers, and we just need rain desperately here or next year. It'S going to be California's going to look like a desert, absolute desert as much as I hate to cut this I'd. Rather rip it, I am going to cut it to kind of match. What'S already there for okay, let me fix the corners a bit foreign, so we want that aged, look, not perfect, and I'm not trying to make it perfect. I want it to be very imperfect. Actually so oops we're going to need some glue there. Actually, I want to use a combination today. I think oops, sorry about that little pillow. Now someone asked me to show them how to make these. You know what I bought these I these are from. Oh opulence. Splendor, I believe and ornate Splendor excuse me and she she makes these and I purchase them from her. I have some white ones and some pink ones that I bought for fall and hopefully to go in my new Studios, so um yeah, I didn't make those. I know how to make them, but they that's a sewing video. That'S not a craft video for me so um I do know how to make them. I have made them in the past, but you know what I want to support my other shop makers. So now this one I want to put on this side and then I'll put some washi tape in the middle. I think is what I'm going to do for that. I think that's how I'm going to do that I'll see if I still going the right way, but I yeah yes. Yes, I'm doing that correct, so we're just kind of gluing kind of I could collage this, but I think I want to keep it in one and then I'll I'll add some other colors and other stuff to it. I think it's what's going to happen after this. So that'll work I just got to get my mojo back. I feel like it's starting to come back. Just with you know, cutting gluing pasting, whatever you want to call it um, just ripping and just having a good old time. I'M really when I was working on this before before I had to quit um I was really enjoying this just having a good time with it uh so oopsie. I just realized. I have to cut part of that off and I put glue down there. Ugh okay. Well, we'll fix it in a minute yeah. I didn't do very good on that. I think I'll just trim it up. Let me, let me make sure you guys are seeing me are, and you aren't okay I'll try to get back up there, better how's our. How are we are we blurry? Are we okay? I think we're? Okay, let's see okay, oh, I should have checked the time while I was up there all right. So let's go like this. There we go. I just kind of want to follow the line. That'S already there foreign that white paper, okay, yep, I could see we need some blue, so we will use our art glitter glue in there to get the corners, and let's do this - oh, that just wants to be a point, no matter what I do so. I think I'll just hand cut that. Well, I could try to hand cut that all right there we go. I want these pages to be very whoa whoops. Oh, I just ripped the heck out of that all right. Let'S try this again. I didn't put a whole lot of glue on there. Honestly. I think we got it okay and then we might want to think about putting something there, but let's uh, let's see where it goes. When you put the rest of the signature together, so you don't see a lot so now I need to come up with something that would look good there. I don't know what I have um. Ah my Tim Holtz here I have a rose. One might be pretty down the middle. Oh, let's see what we think. Oh yeah, now someone said I needed to glue this down, but you know Tim does make Tim Holtz does make his um his washi tape to stick. He says if you burnish it, you don't need to glue it. So I don't know I'm gon na. I will do that. It'S in the middle of the signature. It'S going to get tied down, but I'll go ahead and do it foreign, because this is kind of the cover page for that particular signature. I think it's a good idea to just make sure it's going to stay down Steve what you doing baby a little girl sitting in my feet here hanging out with me. She starts making noise in her throat so that she knows I'm there. She talks to me because she has all kinds of sinus and Asthma and adenoid problems or whatever they are for kitty cats. She can make quite a bit of noise and she will get very loud when she wants me to know she's there she's a funny girl. Let me just use my key cat for those of you who are new one of my kitties of Misty on Tommy. Those are the only two left I had tons of them, but little by little they've all passed away from old age, and now I have my two babies, so I'm gon na fold this down. Let me see no matter baby you're just stressed about something. Oh, we had an earthquake the other night and the cat's been a little little um, restless and edgy. Since then, they haven't quite settled down. It was 3.4. I really felt it. I was upstairs sitting very still in my chair. If you were walking around, you didn't feel it, and there was a 2.5 earlier in the evening same day that Mexico and China had theirs. I think it was China or Japan. I don't remember which um sorry. I need to drink water there starting to get really raspy all righty. So now we have this one. This is kind of some blues, so let's do some little darker colors. I think that came out good, I think that'll be pretty and what's going to happen is other things are going to be here. You know when I once I get these sewn in then we start adding. You know our pockets and our belly bands and whatever we're going to put in there or not it's. This is a lookbook this. This isn't a writing journal at all. I mean you could, if you want to, but I mean it's, I'm gon na have to decorate that, but I want to see how that looks there. I think it looks good there. I think that'll be okay kind of a tight pocket, though there's my let's see if that's gon na, I should have done it Carol Law's pocket or Isaac Carolina's, the one who, where you add the um, the gusset. I will have to back this and make it stiffer, otherwise I don't think it's going to go in there. I'M gon na have to do some work on that. Okay, so that needs some work and this is our middle. So what do I want to do with this foreign? Well, that wasn't our Center. This is actually the center okay. It is the center so and we're gon na need to add something to that um, okay, so I was thinking. Maybe one of these pretty papers or oh I like this one, which one do I want that one that one that one that one, but I think I uh pardon me. I hopefully you didn't hear my husband just so rudely burp. I heard it. Hopefully the video doesn't pick it up laughs. I think you forgot. I was hearing that I can hear him man, 50 years together, not married all 50 but 45 of it anyway um. I don't even know what to say at the moment: I'm just gon na giggle for a little bit. Okay. So let's see what were we doing here uh now you have to sit here and giggle. Oh no, probably I don't get a case of the giggles. I can't get rid of all right what I'm thinking for this uh. Okay, I want to cover it, but I also want to create a like a fold so or a flip or a whatever, so I have to decide which side do I want that flip on? I think I want it on this side, so what I'll do is I'll put it on, but I will have to use some other papers. So I'm thinking, maybe some music paper or I have let's see what have I got. I have some document paper, so maybe we could use some of that. Oh let me get my chair around here like falling off the table alrighty. So, let's see how do I want to do this, like maybe like that I put a little make cut some strips and just put it sideways. I don't think I I don't think everything has to go in the same exact direction right so first thing I'm going to do is get rid of that. That can go into my scraps and then now does this fit. It does fit all the way across, but I think I only need that in half because we just want to kind of cover the white and then oh, I can get rid of the white at the top and the bottom too. I don't need all of that. Let me make sure before I go ripping any more of it off, then we end up short. Oh I see so many people do that and I do it it's like it's so frustrating you think you're doing the right thing and then you realize oh no. I ripped too much. Oh no now what now you're in a mess now you're in a mess? Okay, so I think that would go across the bottom. Let me check my time guys, and maybe where am I at 44., so we got about 15 minutes, not quite 16 minutes. 15 minutes. So let me Oh wrong. One grab the wrong one foreign. It'S not a whole lot, just a little bit just a wee bit of collage, just a wee bit. Okay, so I hope you're all well. What are you guys up to anything new and exciting uh? Two of you weddings, one of you, oh Betty, I'm so sorry about your daughter, um! She got injured. She fell, hurt herself so pretty badly. So I hope she's, okay, Betty and I know Betty's getting ready for some back surgery, so honey, you're, gon na be in our prayers, and I know someone else is going to their daughter's wedding and is her daughter or their son or you guys, I'm sorry. I just I read your comments and then um. If I don't read it in the same day, I do the video - I don't always remember, but I am paying attention, though I do know you guys are having to get and a lot of you guys have kids getting married man. That'S awesome. I have a niece who's getting married next month, but that's about as close to a kid as I've got getting married. That'S all my kids are married with kids, so um, not the greatest at this time. It'S a tiny. What I call the tiny tear! That'S a tiny chair, not the best of the tiny tear. Oh that came out. Okay, all right! The only thing is, I didn't do the best job at ripping that oops sorry, so we need to do the top and then we'll put that through the middle and we'll create a fold right right. I'Ll put this up here. One of these is getting very high. Pitched over here I mean these refrigerators is making me nuts. Oh great. Now it's vibrating there we go it's getting so loud. I could hear it at night clearing the bedroom. Oh, I cannot wait back to my beautiful my own room, where I can just go hide away and craft all day every day. If I can't craft anymore. Hopefully my head isn't in the camera it might be, but I did do my hair today, so I wouldn't feel too bad a lot of you guys are laughing at me because you saw me in the video scoot by, but oh my gosh. That was a total wreck that day been packing and sweaty mess. Hair was a mess. I mean I did my hair, but it still didn't matter. I was still a mess, no matter how you look at it all right. Well, that's not helping. I think it's! The wine cooler behind me that doesn't have any wine in it just drinks, just like regular, sodas and stuff. I think, there's some old old wine bottles in there, maybe an old bottle of champagne. We need to empty that out. We don't drink. So it's just a way of company offer our guests, something which we haven't had any guess since we started this project four months ago. Sorry guys, I'm gon na have to get this close to me for a minute. I cannot see to do this. I am struggling today. Oh it's really hard to craft in here. I have. I am so far away from me and I just cannot see so, but I really need a craft. I just need to I'm feeling extremely stressed. I'M very anxious overwhelmed worn out. You name it it's happening, and I need my crafting to keep me sane not being able to craft for the last few weeks has been very difficult on me. I'Ve gotten to do a tiny bit, but not enough to really calm me down. So one thing I need to do: I need to um people. I am doing a little inking, because this is a vintage piece that I'm doing so. If I was doing shabby shabby uh Chic, I probably would be uh, maybe pink or something or very little, very, very little ink just to get rid of the edge, but a little bit much heavier on this piece, because this is Marie Antoinette to the 18 early Early to mid 1800s, so um, you know that's European a little bit different, all right now, I'm gon na! I want to glue this on right through the middle. So let's try this see how we do probably you. I should have used glue. Stick on this. I don't know why I'm using fabric tackle all of a sudden again, because I haven't been - it's not been sticking all that great thanks, probably because I need to fill the bottle up now. There is a right and a wrong side to this paper, so I didn't put a dead center on purpose now, you're wondering what I'm gon na do with this. Well, I'm going to make it a flip. It'S gon na flip back and then we'll just cover this little bit with something else right, that's the beginning of your flip outs, so that you have all these lovely little things flipping around, or I could turn it to this side for a minute there. I thought I did it upside down about had a heart attack nope, I didn't okay, I thought I messed it up, but I did not I'm using my little burnishing tool. Let'S see, do we get it out? No, we got. Did it pretty good there's a little bit of all right here we go before I bend it. I really want to make sure I burnish it down, or I could use my little one of my little cards. I have a little like this card that I can use to just spread the glue make sure it's down tight. This really bonds the two pieces of paper together, yeah - and you know I think, I'm going to leave it like that going into the middle um, and then I just have to cover that little piece with something it could be. Anything could be newsprint. It could be a paper could be a book page um, the right cap on the right one. Oh, I don't know all right, let's figure it out. I have pink capsule over my desk here, oh yeah. That definitely goes to that other one. Okay, let me move that. Look at that and we're, I think, we're done with that way. Oh, my God, a few minutes, so I'm just gon na wind up here clean up my mess and you get the idea of what I'm doing. I'M going to keep right on working turn off the camera and keep right on working Along on this and the next time you see me who knows where I'll be on this um beautiful piece here, but this would I will cover that that'll go in there. So that's going to go out here and I may have to move some pages around now that I've done this to see what would look good where, but I think I I know where I want everything I think we're okay, so we've got this one covered and We'Ll be doing more on that and then this one is now covered as you can see. So we have that and that looks good opposite that paper. Oh, that looks really good opposite that piece right there um and then we have that we'll flip out in the middle, so that'll create another flip which gives more and then like right here. I have this little piece, so I can add in a piece of paper. I can add something interesting in over here and then we have the pretty little pink doily, look which looks lovely with that. So you know there. We have another. I'M gon na leave that out, because that's exactly what I'm going to do for the next one is to do that. Uh work on covering that and keep on going and then go into my others, I'll be moving on to the other um signatures. As you see, I have some White Pages there. I have a few White Pages in this one, so I'll be working on those and hopefully next time you see me we'll be making the ephemera to fill this, and everything will be all stitched. I'Ll have all the White Pages done and all the ephemera will be stitched in and we'll be we'll be ready to move on. So there you have it that's today's play. These are the few things that we did do today. Go all right. All right! You guys! Well, thanks for watchlay and chit chat with you and catch you up on stuff, and I hope everything is good for you, guys and you're all doing very well and you have a fabulous Wednesday and a wonderful rest of your week.
