Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, samantha and i'm back with a brand new video. If you haven't been here before, do hit the subscribe button below i film videos on fashion life, travel, weddings, luxury and a whole lot of fun, and this video is a very exciting video. I will be testing out the viral technique to curl your hair without heat. Utilizing the heatless silk headband that i received from lily silk and there's also going to be a little bit of a surprise unboxing at the end of this video, so make sure you stay tuned. Like i curl my hair a lot, i use a lot of heating products on it and i probably curl my hair once every two days. That'S how often i style my hair with heat and honestly, if there's another way for me to get the curls that i'm looking for without using any heat and like reducing the amount of damage that he causes on my hair, i'm all for it. This video is kindly sponsored by lily silk. They provided the items that i'll be showcasing in this video. They are a company that has an array of silk products: high quality, silk products, everything from clothing, so like dresses blouses, but they also have other accessories like the heatless hair headband that i'll be showcasing in this video. They also have products like silk hair scrunchies, but something new that i learned about lily silk is that they are zero waste, so any waste in terms of fabric that they use for their items. They reutilize it to create other things. They also work with terracycle, which is a global recycling company in their efforts with zero waste production ta-da. So this funky little thing is the lily: silk: silk headband. It comes with two scrunchies i'll insert a separate clip after this. So you can see me in action. So the headband and scrunchies are made with mulberry silk, which is premium silk quality, and it's just it's great for your skin um. You can it's like very soft, like now, i'm like playing around with it, it's very, very soft and silky. You can wear it as you sleep, it will not cause any discomfort, because it's so soft and smooth i've been along with other products made at lily. Silk is made from 100 mulberry silk, which is premium quality silk, and it's great for your skin great for your hair. It is toxin free all that good stuff. I have my eyelash extensions on right now, so it kind of makes me feel like if i do. The heatless hair curling method, while i sleep, i would literally wake up like kim kardashian being like my lashes, are done. My hair is done so i'm actually using the claw clip at the top in order to hold the band down just so it doesn't slip off of my head and what i'm doing is that i'm grabbing more hair little by little just to roll around the silk Headband and the hair can be grabbed from the front or just from the back of your head, but just make sure that when you're curling it around the headband, you are curling them in the same direction. I'M going to use the scrunchie to hold the hair in place, okay, so this is how it looks. Currently, i have rolled them on the same direction on both sides, and this is just going to stay here to hold the headband in place and i'm going to leave this for four to five hours and then we'll check back and see how it looks. Hey guys. So it has been three hours since i've put my hair up in the silk headband and i watched other videos. It says that, ideally, the hair stays tied up like this for at least four to six hours um, but i'm just getting a little bit restless and i just want to know how it turns out. So just bear that in mind. Um, but yeah. We'Ll we'll see how it looks, definitely recommend the claw clip because it has helped so much when i just like moving around. I actually did yoga too, like 15 minute yoga on youtube and it stayed sort of up. You can kind of see the shorter strands in the front of my face, have kind of came out from being tied back, but i don't think that's too too much of a problem because most of the curls will be on the body of the hair. We'Re just going to pull it straight up like this. Okay wow. I am so impressed. Look at the definition of the curls. Now mine knew my hair was completely dry. When i did this, it wasn't damp, it wasn't wet. I did just wash it, but it was completely dry, i'm very, very impressed. I didn't expect it to look this good, actually to be honest, the second product from lily silk that they sent over is this beautiful, silky pillowcase outlet. You can see it on camera. It'S just like incredibly smooth and silky. This is also mulberry silk. It is like incredibly soft. Prior to this. I already do have silk pillowcases that i use and that's for a variety of reasons. It'S great for your hair. It doesn't cause as much hair breakage as say. A cotton pillowcase would like that. Cotton is also very absorbent, and so silk is a lot better for your skin because it doesn't absorb the moisture or your skin care on your face into the fabric. It also reduces wrinkles - i hear smooth, so it's supposed to be really really good for your skin, really good for your hair and it's supposed to also help to regulate body temperature and, if you're like me and have allergies, silk is a great alternative to cotton pillowcases Because they don't attract dust mites like cotton does, and it also is like a repellent for fungal or mold growth, which is nasty okay. So it's time for unboxing in my latest video i did share a tour of the new mine and yours location in yaletown. If you do live in vancouver, i definitely recommend going to check it out. I did tease that i did pick up a little something from mine and yours and it did show up on my instagram. We just scream. These are vintage louis vuitton patent boots. They go up to about knee height and they are my exact size. Look how sexy these are. I'Ve been looking for a pair of boots with this patent fabric because i think they look so chic with dresses or leggings. I got this using the store credit that i have in store, but the cost of the boots are 395., so stunning, so beautiful they're in great condition for shoes anyway. I hope you guys enjoyed this video as well as the fun little hair curling tutorial. If you are ever interested in getting them for yourself i'll link them all in the description box below and i'll see you in the next video bye
