Hey guys welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel. If you guys are new here, I might have to scream over the freakin weed whackers that are going on right now, but anyways for today's video. I'M going to be kind of like reviewing and applying a set of hair extensions. I won a giveaway on Instagram and I was super super excited because I haven't had a hair extensions since probably high school and they were not even a good set. It was like it set from Sally's that was just like complete trash, so I was super excited to get these in the mail. I'M just gon na kind of go over like the brand, the type of hair that it is like all of the hair, specs kind of, and I'm just gon na pop them in my head, and we will call it a day. So before we get into the video, if you guys have not already make sure that you hit that little red subscribe button, it's really easy. You just click, it click it. It'S free! It'S simple, it's great and then also if you haven't already turned your notifications on because YouTube it's just it's it's a weird platform these days. So if you would like to be notified when I upload just click that little notification bell, so that that way, you know um yeah, let's just get right into the video first things. First, I am gon na just provide a little bit of a disclaimer um. I did film this video last week and it was supposed to go up on Friday, but for some reason that video just will not upload. So I'm just gon na refilm it okay, but the reason I'm giving you that disclaimer is that I did dye my hair and it went a little darker than I thought it was gon na be so these extensions are like a tad lighter, which I really don't Care because my hair is going to fade over the next couple of weeks, so I really don't mind and when my hair is curled, it looks fine, so just don't not disclaimer out there that I know that they don't match perfectly it's because I literally did this Video last week and everything was fine, then the video didn't upload it dish, it wouldn't work. So that's all we kind of have darker hair, lighter extensions, so, okay, so that makes sense. I don't know, but I'm just airing out there, because here people are always like. I feel like they're always just waiting to drag somebody the slightest like off things. So, let's get into it so first things: first, the brand that the extensions actually are is called Luna, silk, hair extensions and I believe that they are based out of Illinois. They do the tape and extensions they have those if you are a licensed cosmetologist and then, if you're, just an everyday Becky like me, you can get the luxury clip in extensions, which is what I chose and their clip in extensions. Come in three lengths. There was 18 inches, 20 inches and 22 inches, so I went ahead and I went with the 20 inches just because I felt like that was a perfect medium, I'm really short and I'm really like petite and small. So I didn't want something that was gon na. Look like I was drowning in the hair, so I feel like the 20 inches was perfect. It'S a hundred and sixty grams of hair. It comes with eight wess, which is just like the strip that the hair is on and yeah. I'M actually really really freaking impressed by this. The hair itself is 100 % remy hair, which means that it is real hair. You can color this, you can wash it. You can use heat styling tools on it, it's basically just a second head of hair. So you can do anything that you do to your hair to these. What else? Oh, these are double drawn, I believe it said on their Facebook. So what that means is that the hair follicles all lay the same way so that you're not gon na get them all bunching up and tangling. That'S when you get those big bushy, like cheap-looking extensions, um, the thickness. I was so excited about this. I don't know if you guys have ever noticed certain extensions, but a lot of extensions will be like really thick throughout the first like half of the hair and then, as you get down to the bottom shaft the bottom area, it always would get stringy. I know I haven't had extensions in years, probably like 6 or 7 years and the Sally's ones. I don't know why, but they would shed so much that by the end of the month my ends would be so ratty and stringy and just like not cute, and so I appreciate that the thickness is consistent like the entire way through the hair, and then you Get these really nice like chunky, thick ends that make it look like you have really healthy hair and you take care of your split ends because I know like I don't so that's great. As for the clips, the clips are really nice. They have a silicone backing. Um, underneath the clip that will help really grip the hair, the West themselves are super super thin, so that right there is extremely thin and the clips are really thin and small as well. I I'm just going to compare these to the one set of Sally's a set that I had just because I that's all that I have to compare it to the clips back in the day used to be so bulky and so thick and yeah. They would clip onto your hair, really nice, but you'd also be left with like clip bumps everywhere, because of how thick they were, and the West were also very thick. So I appreciate that these are really easy to hide they're, like basically seamless and when you have dark hair exceptions are like really easy to hide, because this part is dark as well as your hair. Like does that even make sense, I don't know but yeah. So I was super impressed with this. They are super soft. They are super shiny, but it's not like overly soft shiny to where it looks, plastic and fake. I just love it. I'M gon na just show you guys how I pop these into my head and we will go from there. Okay. Okay, so I know that there's tons of techniques, I know that there's tons of ways to put extensions into your head - I'm literally just gon na - show you like my way that I think is just really simple and easy, and it gets you out the door really Quickly so the first clip the first weft I'm going to start with is a three clip weft, and it just looks like this. So in this set there are three three clip weft, but one of the three clip weft is actually like quite longer than the other. Two three clips, I'm starting out with one of the smaller ones, we're gon na use the bigger three clip when we get up a little bit more towards the middle of the head. So I, like, I said, I'm gon na take a three clip weft and to part my hair, I'm just gon na take the hair at the nape of my neck, so basically just starting like below the middle of the ear. So I have that clipped back now. What I'm gon na do is I'm going to spritz my hair with some hairspray literally any hairspray will work, I'm just gon na spray, the roots of my hair, because we are going to backcomb itself. I can't find my teasing comb so we're just gon na use. A brush okay! So again, I know that the hair is not going to match perfectly, but that is besides the point for today's video. So again, a three clip West, I'm just going to take it and I'm going to measure my head just so that it's Center and I'm going to clip this in right over that tease area. You want to get as close to your parting line as possible. Just to keep everything nice and clean it organized, I guess in a way you could say: okay, so once that's in and it feels secure every time that I attach one I'm going to bring the hair forward and I'm sorry if you can hear the lawnmower and I'M just going to brush it out. So, as you can see, this one didn't get very attached, so I'm just going to reattach it and that's also why I bring it forward and brush it, because then that way I can tell if it needs to be readjusted before I let my hair down and Then I don't have to come back and like fix it tangle up my hair, so here we have the first weft in so it just looks like this. This is the 20 inch set like I said so for me, I'm about 5 3, and it goes to about above my belly button. So the hair is very long and I love it. So I'm at this, like really awkward stage with my hair, where it's not growing and it's kind of stuck in the middle, so feels good, we're gon na throw that back and we're gon na move on to our next party. Ok! So for the next party, I'm going to go literally just about half an inch above that even that less than half an inch honestly like quarter of an inch. So this one was basically the middle of my ear. I just pulled the hair straight back and I'm just gon na do the exact same thing: I'm gon na pin it up I'm gon na spray, some hairspray and I'm gon na tease it okay, and I do like to focus most of the teasing on the outer Edges, because those are this part that are gon na slip - I don't know if I mentioned that - Oh edited outs, I did so okay next, the next thing we're gon na do I'm actually gon na try something a little bit different today, I'm gon na take another Three clip West, but it's gon na be one of the smaller ones. Still so three clips sorry about the guy is snowing a lot. They come here everyday and it's like so unnecessary and they stay for hours like who are you're trying to fool okay. So I again I'm going to measure this so that it is perfectly in the middle of my head and then I'm just going to secure the clips once I have everything kind of mapped out: okay, so that fills in there and it feels secure. So again, I'm going to pull the hair forward and brush like I said this was just to keep all the tangles out, but it's also kind of just to make sure that everything is secure, because once you start taking a brush through it, if anything is gon Na slip, that's when it's gon na start slipping, so I brushed through it and I'm actually kind of rough, because I want to be able to make sure that they are on there and they ain't going nowhere. So again, here we go so you're starting to get a lot of volume. I need to pull my curls apart, so yeah you can see that the volume is starting to add up the length is really nice. I love it. I seriously like I get so excited every time. I put these extensions in because I just see myself going for like a four to a positive like the ex parte. I'M gon na go just a little bit above that, so I'm gon na go about my temple. I'M gon na pull the hair back now for this one we're going to be taking another three clip weft, but this one that, like I said, is going to be a little bit longer, so I'm just gon na brush it out this one right here, as you Can see the other three clip ends about like right there, so this one is a little bit wider, we're gon na pop that one on next, okay, so measuring just to make sure that everything's gon na line up, then I'm just gon na clip it into place. Okay and then I'm just gon na brush out the parts that don't need to be teased so that everything lays flat. Okay, look good! Okay! Here we go so here we are look so good. So now we're going to move on to the fourth clip weft and then we'll move on to our side pieces. Okay, so I parted my hair at about middle of my five head so about right there you know I'm just going to tease it and then apply the four clip weft so for clip left. Let'S do this, okay, and also when you're applying means. You want to make sure that everything is laying flat you just what kind of want to feel your head and, if you feel any bumps like don't move on fix it before you go because it's so much harder to start piecing. Your hair out like trying to brush everything so just throwing that out there, because when I first started doing extensions, I would let the bumps just go and then I try to fix them at the end, and that was not the businesses. So so yeah like, as you can see, the hair is a little bit darker and then it goes to lighter. But I really don't care because, like I said, I'm just gon na dye, these so it'll be fine. Okay, so up next we are going to be taking our smaller West and this is just going to help us blend the side pieces in. So it doesn't go from, like short to super long, so again taking a two clip weft, I'm going to start on this side and I'm gon na go from like the arch of my brow and I'm just going to clip this hair over here and I'm just Gon na tease this hair and we're gon na pop that to me to clip weft on so I like to put this kind of like closer to my slight scalp, so I kind of like to place this a little bit closer to my actual like head. I don't put a too far back, I put a forward just so that it really like blends in with my shorter hair, and I need a mirror so one second okay, that probably isn't perfect, because I literally just have to look into this thing and it sucked. But I'll fix it later, if it's not it ain't Gucci we're just gon na move on and hope for the best. So the next to the thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to be taking a one clip weft. So it's just this tiny little baby piece, it's so cute and I'm going to literally just section off about a half an inch above that to clip weft we're just gon na pop that baby on as well. Now, for this one click one, I clip it pretty close to my actual spike head, because this one, I feel, does the most work. So, as you can see, I've literally clipped it like here's, my little baby hairs and there's the clip. So the reason that I do that is because, like I said I like to have everything just blend really nicely, and now I'm just gon na brush out that back combing that I did okay, okay and then just really quickly. I wanted to kind of show you guys how it blended so here's my actual hair, obviously dead and gross and sad, and then you have this beautiful extension that just oh so cute, but it literally just makes everything kind of flow together. So it's not just like all one length or, like short too long, it just really helps the flow of the hair. I love it. I seriously like I feel myself. I just want to dance. I just want to like do things. So, let's move on to this side! Okay, so again, just going at the arch of the brow. Take that hair back I'm gon na do this and clip it, tease it and then taking another clip left we're just gon na pop that baby right. On top of that tease, okay, oh girl, she's, secure, okay! So now we're just gon na pop that one clip left on and I'll brush through my hair and we'll be done when I'm not explaining this. I can literally do this in like 10 minutes. Okay. So now we have the one clip and I'm just gon na pop that baby right there, like I said I always pop the one clip left super close to my actual like headache, so I'm going to carefully brush through my hair. This is just gon na kind of like get out any bumps or tangles or like kind of brush out the back combing that I did um just so it all looks nice. So for me personally, I like to take I like to split my hair into three sections um when I wear these extensions, because I want to like get the most out of them. I want to look like good from the front and good from the back. So yes, alright, I don't know what that was sorry. So, as you can see the hair, my hair doesn't match perfectly, but it isn't it isn't like so terrible where you're like you know, maybe not to me, maybe to you guys. I don't know, but I think it looks great and I love it. I seriously like I'm obsessed with the way that extensions make you look and feel like. I don't care what anybody says. This is the like the best way just to feel better. Like I put these extensions in when I don't do my makeup, because then it just makes me feel like I'm at least somewhat put together um, I don't know, I just love it because I feel like it's. The easiest way to just like I said made yourself. Look put together without even trying, like you, can just pop these babies in and go out the door you're good, so I love them so much. I I die oh and by the way I didn't even mention that I have a coupon code for you guys.
