I think that's fine for you. I do that tonight. Welcome back friends. If you are new here welcome today, we are doing one of my go-to styles for when I really don't feel like taking a lot of time to do my hair um, but I want something that's gon na last, at least a week or so so. The first thing we're going to do, of course, is start with clean, uh, shampooed hair. Then we're going to go in with the blow dryer and silverbird is my go-to. I'Ve tried them all. I'Ve tried the Revlon one um, but nothing gets my hair as straight and as um as dry as the Silver Bird does so we're gon na go in with that make sure our roots are nice and dry and then we're gon na start to part - and this Is probably the longest part of this style is trying to part my hair straight um? There'S a couple different ways that you can do this. I'M sure you've seen the girl who set up the iPhone and Screen shared to the TV. So you can see um with your, so you can see the back of your hair on the TV. For me I would normally use my camera because I do have that mirror to my laptop. But honestly today I just used um a mirror and it did take me a little bit longer than it probably would have, but I didn't feel like doing a whole lot of moving around and maneuvering. So we used a mirror, but I will say the straighter. You can get your head with the blow dryer, the better uh, the better chance you'll have at parting, your hair straight the first few times. So I did one part down the middle. That was pretty easy, um and then I just did two on the side, and I did them kind of at an angle, and I think that was what really took me. The longest was making sure they were um even on both sides. As long as you dream about me, once you have your hair, nice and even you're going to go in with edge control or gel of your core of your choice, I use the braid formula vodka made and it's in a white container with a black top. It doesn't have a scent, but that stuff holds my hair so well. This is what I use when I do like a Sleek bun, because you know, of course gel has water in it, so make your hair curl up. So it's harder for me to get it to lay down, but with this stuff I don't even normally have to tie my hair down after so I just apply it to both sides of where I'm going to be braiding, and then I just start to cornrow and The beautiful thing about this style is, you don't have to worry about feeding in hair if you're, you know pretty novice when it comes to that just cornrow your hair straight back, and then I'm going to show you what we did to create the bun Nies me Alone, that's just close. Nobody like you do yeah together too much and then what I did was. I went to the beauty supply store and I bought a pack of crochet box braids and I tried to find the biggest ones that I could, which just will happen to be 45 inches long. So I'm only going to use like five of those I think. 10 came in the pack, I'm only going to use like five of those and what I did was I crocheted them around. A hair tie and you'll see me do that here, um. I wish I got a better clip of that. Sorry, I hope you guys can understand what I'm doing, though, but you literally just want to Loop it around the um the hair tie come here. I put five braids on the hair tie and then I I wrapped it around um my hair, just like I was doing a ponytail, I secured them with the hair tie and because the braids are attached to it. At that point, all I had to do was just wrap the crochet braids around in a bun, and I secured them up with a bobby pin as I went and then once I was done, I took needle and thread and I actually sewed it into place. So it wouldn't move um and I feel like that's the most secure way you don't have to do that, but because the hair was a little a little loose um I felt like that was the best way to kind of secure it. So I did that foreign. We be so comfortable and then from there I just lay down my edges, and that is literally it. I did take some Nairobi, mousse or setting lotion and just put it all over my head tied it down with a scarf and then hit it with the blow. Dryer um, is it a little extra hole, get those flyaways or anything you might have missed, and that's it guys this style literally took me. I don't know less than an hour for sure it probably would have been even even quicker than that um. If I'd had someone else like part it for me but yeah and it'll last me a week, if not more so I don't have to worry about my hair for a while. I didn't spend hundreds of dollars. It was quick, it was simple. I hope you guys loved it if they, I will try to link everything that I use below.
