Foreign, what's up everybody, it is me say by The Stylist and I'm back again with another Banger. You guys see the curls, you see the shine, you see the body and now we finna get into it. We are doing another silk press. You guys know that's what I do if you're on my channel, you new to my channel. Thank you for for coming. Thank you for joining you gon na learn something today. Class is in session. So if y'all want to see how I got those beautiful curls, you guys stay tuned watch the video and I'm going to show you everything that you need to know. Okay about doing the silk press all right, so we hop right on into the video and, as you guys see we're in the shampoo bowl and the clip that I just showed you guys, you can see how dry her hair was. So we literally had to bring the hydration back into her hair and sometimes guys this does not take one time. This is something that's done multiple times, because you cannot get all the moisture or hydration bacon to a client's hair. That'S suffering from dry, brutal hair in one session, it's just impossible. This is something that needs to be done on a weekly basis by the client like they have to start washing their hair on a weekly basis, so they can start getting used to being in a routine and having their hair. Um water wet with water and shampoo things that are going to infuse the hair strengthen the hair okay, so, as you guys can see like I said, I'm already in the shampoo phase and her hair was very Tangled, but I've been doing this for a long time. So I know exactly how to handle this Mane of hair. You have to be very gentle. Natural hair is very gentle. It'S fragile, you guys, may not know you can see how hard her hair looks, but we're gon na get that all together we're gon na throw in a protein treatment right here. This is one of my go-to protein treatments that I use by Nairobi. Yes, as it is a professional product line, but sometimes being y'all beauty supply stores, I don't know how it gets in there, but it'll be in there. This is the nyroflex and what it does is kind of brings back. Some of the elasticity of your hair is suffered from lack of elasticity. It helps bring that back. It softens the cuticle. It also puts the protein back in the hair, and that's something that we all need is protein, because why our hair is made up of protein. Guys, if you didn't know now, you know so before I put her under the dryer for her hair to crystallize with the protein in it again, I'm just going through just kind of pulling it apart and detangling it guys you never want to put um a client's Hair under the dryer, while it's Tangled, especially with the protein treatment, it's just not a good look once you rinse that out, you can feel the difference immediately. The hair is softer and then always guys. You want to go in with a deep conditioner or a moisture mask right after you do a protein treatment, let that sit in the hair for another 10-15 minutes. If you like, you can put the client under the dryer. It just depends on the instructions of the product that you're using and then rinse them out. Okay, so now we're back in the chair, um I've gotten her hair, pretty much detangled. You can see the curl separating, I think, she's, probably like somewhere in the two family. Like I'm not sure, y'all have to look at the curl chart, but it's probably too see or something like that - I'm not 100 sure. But it's not a tight curl pattern. It'S more of a s when you're detangling client's hair. You always want to start at the ends. You see what I just did and also guys I didn't mention either. I always use leave-in conditioner. Every client of mine gets the leave-in conditioner and I put two different types of leave-in conditioner in the client's hair. One was the moisture: no, it was Miracle milk by mazani and then another one was a cream base, um leave-in conditioner, and that one has like some silken in protein components in it. So it helps also strengthen the hair and it's always best to put it in the hair while it's damp okay. So now I'm going into sectioning guys - and I noticed some of you guys start sectioning in the back of the hair, guys, I'm telling you if you sections starting at the front of the hairline, it will save you time. Please trust me on this because it works. It'S faster, it's quicker, it's more efficient and it's just easier to work from the front of the head and work your way to the back, because you don't have to like separate hair like in terms of like working from the bottom to the top. You don't have to worry about like flipping the hair up, the hair is already laying down, so it's just better to do it this way, guys just trust me, try it at home or the salon, whatever you're doing here at just try it okay. So whatever you do to the left side, you got ta do the right side. So I'm not going to show the right side, because you guys pretty much get the point um. Then you want to also grab your favorite heat protectant or blow dry spray. I'M going to spray that in her hair per section, sometimes you can spray the whole head, but she has so much hair that I just wanted to make sure that I was catching um each section. So now I'm I have my dimming brush. You can find the denim brush at Sally's for, like 20 bucks, the blow dryer from Sally's for like fifty dollars, I'm going through her hair, and you see how guys you see how easy this process is. I promise you it's so simple when you do it this way, instead of like not sectioning the hair, so many people that don't section in here and it just grinds my gears - it's just simpler guys. I mean just try it just try it please so anyways I've used my heat protectant and it's the Kenra brand. I don't know if I showed it yet, but if I didn't, I'm gon na show you guys in a second which one I use um. I get this one too, from the professional store, I'm not really sure where you guys can get it from. I don't know if Amazon has it, I don't I haven't checked, but we've got the first section down we're gon na move on to the second section, and I did it two different ways. So this way, you're going to see me separate that one section and sometimes with people - that's the blow dry spray, sometimes with people with long hair or more kinkier hair. Sometimes you have to break down those sections into two, because you want to make sure that you get as close to the scalp and you get a good stretch with that blow dryer and dimming brush okay, so you see me doing it one way, which is me Doing the whole section the first time and then the second time, I'm just splitting that section into two. I prefer to split this section into two, because the hair just stretches way better than you doing it in one section, especially if you are a beginner at some pressing, you want to split those large sections into two and if the hair is really coarse or damaged, And it hasn't had a trim in a long time. You want to split those sections into two, because you'll get a really good stretch when you're using the Denman brush the denim brush could be aggressive, sometimes so guys. That'S why I'm telling you how to do this? Don'T be cutting Corners, you cannot cut Corners when it comes to sectioning and blow drying. You guys see. This is a knot right here. It'S a fairy knot or um. I forgot the other term that people use, but when you're blow drying, you see a snag or you feel a snag. You guys don't keep brushing through that. You want to stop blow drying, put the brush down for a second take your time and just take that little fairy knot out her hair had a few of those fairy knots and it's just because her ends haven't been trimmed in over a year. You know she has color, it was a little dry. You know what I'm saying so we're restoring her hair so again, guys natural hair is very fragile. You just want to make sure that you're not causing additional damage by just taking that brush and running through it. Any kind of way: when there's a snag, you stop, you don't keep going and you gently take out that piece of um, Tangled hair, so we're going to start at the nape part of her hair. I am using a um ceramic flat iron. I got it from a company called Studio, tick Leo she's, really popular here on YouTube. So you guys can go. Look her up, love her page. She does amazing work, but the flat iron is one of my go-to's been one of my go-to flat irons, um late. As of lately, because everybody doesn't need to use a titanium flat iron, so I'm glad that she came out with this flat iron because it's awesome, it's really nice and it feels good in my hands too. It doesn't like hurt my hands or anything like that. So um you guys pay attention to the sections that I'm taking her hair is fine, so it doesn't require me to take really thin sections, because I'm still able to get close enough to her Roots. Like with this, maybe like one inch, half an inch section that I'm taking and I'm really just doing one pass some people, you can't do one pass some people, you can do one pass, but for her texture it is completely okay to do one pass. Thank you. Okay, so if you guys are new to my channel, if this is your first time being here just want to say welcome to my page, where the girls get saved, I say well welcome to my page, where the girls get saved subscribe to my page. What'S up. Thank you, foreign, okay guys. So now you can see her hair is pretty much pressed all the way out and you can see that hole right in the middle of her hair and it is due to breakage. She does wear a lot of ponytails just wash and goes things like that and she hasn't had her hair trimmed in a year. So it's probably been a little bit more in here, but um. We did discuss how much um we were going to cut off. She was aware I did not cut off a lot. You guys, please don't be in the comment section telling me that I cut off too much, because I did not. We talked about it and we were both okay with the amount of hair that had to go. So that's why it kind of turned into more of a cut than a trim. So I'd say we got rid of about five inches: six inches five and a half six inches somewhere around there, but um. I went ahead and cut some more off camera. I went ahead and point cut it um and what that does it softens? The hair gives it more movement. I wish I could have caught that on camera, for you guys, but sometimes when I'm trying to work with my appointments, some things I just cannot um record um for you guys on YouTube. So um, if you guys, are interested in taking a one-on-one course. I definitely have that available on my site, which is saved by the stylist.com um. You guys can definitely sign up for that. I am excited to now be offering one-on-one classes. It'S been long enough, but I finally have that available for those who are interested and if you are in the Houston area, you want to get saved come see me, you know if you're, not in the Houston area. Anyone want to get saved still come see me. People taking flights still, you know traveling and doing all type of stuff, so your hair is important, so I'm gon na start from the back of her head and guys. You can see, there's more breakage back there and I'm gon na go ahead and just trim that we're going to allow that to grow back on its own, but that definitely had to go and a lot of times guys when you get colors. This is the result of what happens when you get color. Your hair becomes very dry, it becomes very brittle and if you are not getting your treatments and your Trims on a regular, then you will have breakage. It just comes with it. You know. So when you guys want to commit to color - or you guys want to get color, you need to truly commit to the maintenance that comes along with it now. I know you guys going to ask me about this flat iron. This is my Revlon flat iron. This is like a two inch I think, um I'll put it down in the description below but um. I tend to use it with people with longer hair and then you're gon na see me switch to a smaller flat iron um, and that's because I wanted to make the curls a little bit more tighter when I got towards the top of the hair. So if you guys like what you see so far, you guys hit the thumbs up, you know show me some love, so I also want to mention guys if you are not comfortable with curling with a flat iron. It takes time to learn how to curl with a flat iron. You can definitely use a curling iron. You know that's an easier alternative. It'S more simpler. I wouldn't put the temperature at the highest, especially if you have a T3 curling iron, which I have you have to use, that one on level two when you're curling with real hair. But if you just have like a regular um, curling iron and the dial goes up to, let's say 450 or um, it goes up to 50.. So if it goes up to 450, I would say: lower the temperature to about 400 and then, if it's like one that goes up to like 50, then I would probably do like 40 at the temperature gauge and that's so that the hair won't experience any type Of heat, damage or start smelling burnt, or anything like that, so you just want to try to protect the Integrity of the hair as much as you possibly can, and I just like to curl with a flat iron better, because I feel, like the curls hold a Little bit better, it is a harder manipulation, but again guys like I'm so used to it and sometimes with long hair it does become more challenging, and so that's why I went from using a big flat iron to a smaller flat iron throughout the duration of her Hair because I know that certain areas I want the curl to be tighter and with the bigger flat iron me curling it it just won't give me a tighter curl. So that's why you see me switching up. Thank you, foreign guys. So this sums up our silk press. For today she truly got saved. You guys saw the before this is the after you see the shine, you see the body, you see the beautiful curls and she loved her hair. She was ready to go back to school. She'S gon na give y'all a little Shake, Shimmy Shake Shake, and that is it guys. Don'T forget to subscribe. Comment like share. Do all those good things, and I will see you guys in my next video bye-bye foreign
