When i first used it, i just wasn't really wowed squeaky clean now. The last thing that i want to touch on is the flaking: hey guys, welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new, my name is britt. Today'S video is gon na, be something really quick that someone in my comments actually asked me to do, and i was like hm. That'S a really good idea. If you saw the title, then you know exactly what this video is going to be about before we get started if you're new here and you want to see more hair beauty, lifestyle videos then hit that subscribe, button below and yeah, let's get right into it. All righty, so the first thing in the line is the shampoo and if you guys haven't seen me reviewing the whole entire melon in hair care line, then i would definitely recommend watching that video first and then coming back to this one and i'll link it somewhere. At the top, just so that you're not confused watching this, the first thing in the line is the shampoo which i didn't take out of the shower. It is still in my shower and it's all like wet and stuff, so i wasn't trying to take that out. The shower, like i said everything in the line i used for a solid month and within a month i would wash my hair typically three to four times depending on the month. So i use the shampoo a couple of times and i still feel the same exact way about the shampoo, as i felt in my detailed review. Video um. Definitely something that i will still incorporate in my routine, but i will only use it about once a month or something like that. The shampoo definitely just cleans out all that gunk out of your hair and gives you that squeaky clean. It definitely gives you that super squeaky clean feel, which i don't look for, that every single time that i wash my hair, but it's also something great to keep on hand for that good, clarifying feeling every single month. So definitely something i'll continue to use. Still like the shampoo after a month - and i just won't use it every time i wash my hair next up in line - is the the lemon and, as you can see, i am practically done now. You might be wondering how the heck is your leave-in done. Well, that's because i used it for several different things to figure out how i can get the most out of it for my hair, specifically, like i mentioned in the video, my initial when i first used it, i just wasn't really wowed and i didn't feel like My hair was moisturized and all of that, if you watched it, you know what i'm talking about. So i tried to use it in different ways to see how i like it - and i use this thing a lot after a month. Here'S what i feel like worked for my hair, so when i first used it, i got out of the shower and then i put it in and then i followed up with the cream that did not work for my hair, my hair, specifically. What worked for my hair was after i rinsed the shampoo out in the shower. I immediately followed with the leave-in and put it in my hair, like about two three pumps per section: nothing crazy and then i tied my hair up like i normally would and i showered got out the shower, got dressed and then started to do my hair. When i took my hair out of the like little bun that i put it in the shower, it felt so much more moisturized than it did the first time that i used it when i used it when i got out the shower. So that's when i realized that leaving it in my hair a little bit to soak in really bended like. I really benefited from that and it felt so much better in comparison to the first time that i used it and each twist that i was doing i added even more leave-in. You know the typical amount, i would add, and so much better. I loved it. That way, 100 was a much better experience for me. That way, and i feel like since the shampoo was so the sun just went away anyways, since the shampoo was so heavy just putting it in there and letting it sit in the shower in the warm shower. Really helped me a lot, so if you had trouble with it the first time that you used it, i would definitely recommend maybe trying that to see if it helps with that moisture issue that i had, i also used it as a i'm out of breath. I also used it as a pre-poo. I would say it was okay um, i don't feel like it was a as great of a pre-poo. I feel like it's a great pre-poo, if you put it in your hair, maybe cover your hair with a cap for a little bit, let that heat soak the product into your hair and then detangle it and then you know continue on um. I feel like that's how this product would work best as a pre-poo. Now some people might be able to use it as a pre-poo without using heat if their hair just agrees with it right away, like that, definitely feel way better about the leave-in. Now that i experimented with it a little bit and yeah, that's how i feel about it after a month. Next up we have the what is this: the twist elongating style cream and, as you can see, i actually have a lot of this left still, which is really good, because you know that which is really good. I have hair in here. So please don't mind. My hair um, but this is about how much i've used. It looks like more when you open it, but when it's closed it doesn't look like i used anything. I really never had an issue with this and it's done the job every time and i feel like it definitely elongated. My curls and my twist out looked a lot longer and more stretched out with this. So i definitely think it did the job for me and i really really like it. Oh, it never had a small dull, so i honestly have no issues with this at all um when i initially used it in the review video. I liked it and every time after that, i liked it. I definitely agree that it elongated my curls and made them look nice now. This is not a melanin haircare twist out, so don't pay attention to my hair. Now go back to the review video and look at my results. There there's still so much in here, like i love that when a product lasts me so long, because i don't need to use a lot of it, love that last up, we have the multi-use pure oil blend, and here is how much i've used. No issues with this oil. I feel like there's a lot of great oils in here, and i liked it when i used it at first and i still like it now and when i used it the first time. I used way too much of it and it even says on here that a little bit goes a long way and i highly agree: all you need is a little bit and it does the job and yeah. I mean it's an oil and it does the job of an oil. So i still like that now. The last thing that i want to touch on is the flaking. If you watched my review video, i had some flaking when it came to me pulling out my twists and it was kind of like everywhere. I use a lot of product, regardless of what i'm using. I always use a bunch of product. In my hair, i like to make sure that my hair can soak up as much product that it needs and then, when i'm done, i just get like a little t-shirt and i will just soak out any extra product that i feel like is in my hair And i do this with all the products that i've used and i've never had any flaking issues. That'S just how i like to do my hair, because i like to give it the opportunity to soak up as much as it needs, so it might come off as a lot to you guys, but i just like to use a lot of product now that wasn't The case with the melon and hair care, when i used a lot, i it flaked, and i wasn't used to that because i always use as much as i feel like that section needs the next. Like two three times that i did a twist out. I used a little bit less of the leave-in and a little bit less of the cream, and i made sure that my hair was just a little bit more wet and i had no issues the two other times that i did the twist out zero flakes. So if you guys were, i know a few people commented or maybe it was one person i don't know, but they wanted to know if i was still having the flaking issue and the answer is no, it no longer flakes. I just had to adjust how i was using it. I feel like a big part of it was probably just having my hair a little bit more wet and then the fact that i used the leave-in in the shower and let it sit and soak a little bit um. I don't know i feel like that kind of helps, so, if you're using them - and you have flaking issues - maybe try having your hair a little bit more wet or using just a little bit less product. I didn't use like a crazy, like i didn't, reduce the amount that i used by a lot because, like i said, if i feel like that section needs more product, i just keep adding and adding and adding and then i'll soak it out at the end. Whatever adjustment i made did the job, so i have no issues, so that is pretty much it. That is how i feel about the entire melanin hair care line a month later, if you haven't tried it out yet i would definitely recommend giving it a try and yeah. That'S pretty much it for this video guys. Thank you so much for watching and let me know how you feel about the line below whoever comments. This watched, this video write how you feel about the line below in each product. If you would like, thank you guys so much for watching, and i will see you guys in my next video you

Brittaneee: Definitely loving the line a lot more after a month ! Sometimes all it takes is a little trial and error

Special K D: I like that this is a follow-up, I always wonder if people still love the product after using it for a while.

tequilashots875: I appreciate the detailed review. I definitely noticed that you don’t need a lot of her product to get good results. I used the elongating cream on my dirty hair and whoa!!! She wasn’t lying! My twists have never been that long with a moisturizing product in my hair!! I’m gonna pick up the leave in conditioner. I might pass on the shampoo because I hate that super squeaky clean feel on my hair.

Olivia J: I do 1 pump of the leave in and a squirt of oil and use that to moisturize or refresh my hair. I've barely made a dent in the twisting cream yet!

5%LowBattery: Just got it from ulta yesterday... so far I really like the multi use leave in. Getting use to the spearmint smell. Loosens my knots. Detangling was not a pain. The shampoo however, I might return. Not enough lather, scalp&hair didn’t feel clean...had to go in with my regular shampoo on 3rd wash. Will give it another try. I want it to work :(

Olivia Rogers: The shampoo is the best. Especially having braids ( box braids) and when its wash time it really gets your scalp sooo clean! And no residue build up stuck in your braids. And my hairs actually growing and doesn't leave my scalp crusty and dry after.

Timetrae: Enjoyed the video. TFS!! I love the leave in as a deep conditioner. Haven’t gotten the shampoo yet. Love the style cream. It definitely has a learning curve.

Beauty In4C: I have used the Melanin Leave in and TEC for more than a month and i absolutely love them!i like the leave in immediately after rinsing out the deep conditioner then a little butter on my ends..then the TEC the following day with a little leave in and butter to seal..i get a lot of stretch and volume with it!i have the shampoo will try on a later date as well as the oil.Am glad you did this F/U..oh i never had flakes with the cream and do not like it on wet hair

Cleveraintit: I bought the shampoo, conditioner and oil. The oil I use on my body. The shampoo is ok. Conditioner doesn’t do much for me. I do love supporting black woman owned businesses though

kapparhotau181: Yea I had no issues with flakes using the buttercreme but I saw a review a while back to use less as it's really thick. I also really heat it up in my hands b4 putting on my hair so it would absorb better. It's probably too heavy for low porosity so less is more with this product

Ossie R: I’ve only used the cream for a wash and go, no flaking. I’ve tried the oil, love it and I’ve tried the leave-in and loved it too but the spearmint fragrance was too much for me. I haven’t tried the shampoo.

Mckenzie Ugwuonye: The melanin twisting butter has a nutty aroma, like a sweet nutty scent, as all shea butter is supposed to smell like I guess, well at first it did. But then after a while, the scent faded a bit and I think it's because it had already been opened thus losing its scent.

Kaytey Didd: It smells amazing.-the elongating crème. Maybe you had a cold that day but it is most definitely scented and pleasant

Ossie R: My hair is always really wet when I use products. I haven’t tried the shampoo yet. Love the cream and I loved the leave-in but spearmint fragrance too strong for me. I liked the oil but I don’t use much oil in my hair or in my scalp. Overall I live her products.

Selena: Very detailed. I truly appreciate reviews like this. I haven't tried the line but will in the near future. Thanks for the info!

Tiffany Nichols: I don't really fuss over shampoos. I just want my hair clean but I did purchase the leave in and twisting cream and I loved it. My hair is really dry and this kept my hair well moisturized between washes.

Chabada T: Hi! I’m French. I try to take care of my hair ( and also learning english). I really like your videos. Thank you it’s so helpful for me.

Candra Thomas: I really liked the shampoo and the leave in. The leave in for sure...I just couldn't take the MINT everyday all day very loud but a performer.

Anne-Olive N: ooo I didn't experience any flaking at all! I really liked the shampoo bc I felt like it wasn't stripping but this is after one use so maybe that'll change in the future

Esther Jewel: Thanks for sharing. I don’t think I’ll be buying this specific line only because I stay in the Uk and the shipping and taxes is ridiculous so I’ll stick to lines that are already available here

Katrina Blackman: Thank your for the detailed review. I just purchased the Leave In and the Twisting Cream. I'm in Alaska, very cold. So I'm hoping this product keep my hair soft and will hold the moisture.

Lovina Okoronkwo: Brittaneee, I honestly don't think I'll be using the leave-in for its intended purpose. I'll use it as a detangler because my twist-out looked dry as opposed to when I use my Mielle Pomegranate and Honey leave-in which leaves my hair defined and bouncy. The twisting cream doesn't smell like anything, and when it arrived, the seal was open. Is this normal? I am kind of scared to use it to be honest. Like why doesn't it smell like anything, and why was it open?

DimpledNatural: I don't care for the leave in, but love the shampoo and oil. I want to try the cream

Sheena Theresa: ITS THE INGREDIENTS FOR ME

Shantel Jones: I use the oil for my hair and skin. It is the only thing I have found that got rid of my dry skin. I love it.

Koriand'r Of The Stars: The shampoo and leave-in do wonders for me. I scoop two spoonfuls of the twist cream and about six squirts of the leave-in into my deep conditioning hair-pudding I make and my hair is so moisturized

NaturalCurls4Life: I bought the shampoo and conditioner for my locs. I like the shampoo but I’m on the fence with the conditioner. I usually sit under the steamer with my leave in, so I will try it again.

Trinity M: The shampoo is a clarifying one just so everyone knows and not meant to be used weekly

Gabrielle: I want to try the oil as a daily moisturizer. Like maybe mist some water and seal my hair with the oil. What do you recommend?

Grab Bag Crafting: Thank you! This was a delightful review!

Girl Interrupted2: I just bought this yesterday and I love the leave in. My hair has ever been this soft. Hopefully a month later I still love it. How does it work as a wash n go?

Jodian Faulkner: What products did you used for this twist out?btw great video

cherol green: Good review. Which product is your fav? Only tried the elongating cream. I mostly try to use as a styling product my hair is not in love

Bettina: Your hair looks nice in this video

Nh Spain: I’ve been using the oil because all this heat is making my scalp dry, and I never have a dry scalp or dandruff. This shit has my scalp so dry and flaky!!! I cannot stand it. It’s definitely not for me.

frogger45: Remember this line is based on someone else hair needs.

Tonette S.: I helped my daughter apply the leave-in conditioner twice and both times it softened.and removed the nail polish off my nails. The polish is regular nail polish (not gel nail). Anybody else have this issue? Also the oil caused me and my son scalp irritation and acne. I’m not sure what oil we are allergic to. Anybody else have this problem?

risma&siska 99: Does you used this product while comb your hair ?

Erica Davis: I love the products!

Diy Novice to Novice: Does this work for relaxed hair?

Brooklyne Kleinheksel: i just bought their leave in but i haven’t tried it yet

Bolarinwa Bolu-Ariyo: After I got saved, I started and continue to get a stronger relationship with God everything got and is getting better. My thinking, my relationships with people, my life and I have someone who I can rely on which is God. Romans 10:9-11 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Brittaneee: What other hair lines would you guys like to see me try ??

libfuzzy: Your gorgeouss

Britney Jae: what’s your hairs porosity?
