Try It Or Trash It - Hair Care Edition | Monday Haircare | Summernicole

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is summer, nicole, so hey girl. Today we are doing a new series on my channel. The new series is called: try it or trash it, so i'm gon na be trying out new products. Hyped up products, products that you recommend to me or products that you want to try, but you don't want to waste your coin on it. So i'm always my coin on it and let you know if you should try this product and spend your money on it or trash it, and don't even worry about wasting your money girl, okay. So before we get into today's video, make sure you like comment and subscribe and yeah, let's get into it, so today's product, the first product of our try it or trash it series, are these new products that i picked up from target. Let'S be real. What drew me to them was the aesthetic of it: okay, pink nice sleek. How cute would this be in your shower, like a wet, so it's these new hair care products from monday. That'S the brand monday and i picked up their shampoo and conditioner. So i picked up the moisture one. It says on the bottle, moisture for dry and damaged hair um. I got the moisture, shampoo and conditioner. There are a few different kind. I know there's moisture, i think, there's a volume, one um, maybe like a thickness. I don't know like a dry, i don't know, y'all have to try. Y'All have to go to target and see anywho so yeah. So these are the products that we are talking about today, girl, so yeah. Let'S get into it the packaging a1 bomb, okay smell they smell, really good; okay, really good, like really really good. Okay. So first we're going to talk about the shampoo, so these products are supposed to be sls, free, paraben, free and cruelty free. If i didn't say that already um one thing that i wasn't too sure about um if they were, if the shampoo is sulfate free, i kind of looked into it and i didn't really get a clear answer. Um yeah, i didn't really get a clear answer on. If it was sulfate-free or not so if you are against using shampoos with sulfate in it, then this might not be the shampoo for you, because i don't think it's sulfate free, so yeah, so this shampoo overall smells really really good, so um. I used this in the shower the other day and first off it doesn't take a lot to get a good lather going and it suds up like really like it really sets up like a really good amount. So the size of the um bottle might not look that big. It'S 12 fluid ounces, but with the shampoo you don't need a lot to get the job done. So i really do like that. Um here's the thing this shampoo. For me, it wasn't moisturizing. It did not leave my hair feeling moisturized, it left my hair feeling, like i don't know like stripped or something you know like it, just didn't do it for me. It yeah it just didn't. Do it for me, my hair, like my scalp, and everything felt clean and it smelled clean, because the shampoo smells good, but my hair didn't feel moisturized after using this moisture shampoo. So is this a good shampoo to use on natural hair? I don't think so. Maybe if you're like, if you just don't care about what a shampoo does for you or does for your hair, you'll like it, but for me it just didn't. Do the job and yeah like it just left my hair feeling just like stripped or something, and it also felt pretty like tangly when um, when i went to like rinse it out and use the conditioner and stuff felt really tangly because of this shampoo. So would i recommend this shampoo? No, i'm sorry, but no like, in my opinion, the shampoo girl trash it trash. It. Don'T waste your money on this shampoo. It looks cute but honey. Your head ain't cute after you finish with it: okay, so next product, the conditioner, you see, moisture, dry, damaged, hair. I got the same conditioner. Okay, this conditioner. I think that it smells bomb. Okay, smells amazing, amazing, but when i went to apply the conditioner i sectioned off my hair and i like worked it through and so that way i didn't need to use um such a large amount of the conditioner, because i go through conditioner honey like i'm. Like slap all of that in here, all of that, let it see here, let it marinate, let it moisturize. I want all of it: okay, all of it, but it just didn't. Do it for me, i like i, was trying to hold back on giving y'all it. Just didn't do it for me, like it smelled, really really good um, like i said that shampoo left my hair feeling like tangly like tangled and stuff so um. I was able to comb it out with the conditioner in there, but it just didn't have like as much slip and as much like just didn't. Leave my hair as moisturized as i would like it to like um yeah. I don't know these products like they are subpar like they're, okay, um, if you're into hair and like you're, a natural girl and you're into like, like this says, moisture, and you want your hair to be moisturized your curls to be defined once you rinse these products Out then, these products are not going to do it for you they're just not, and that's just the honest opinion like so. If i had to let you know, if i would try or trash this conditioner, i would trash it because it just didn't. Do it for me now what i will say when i finish using the conditioner and i rinsed it out when i got the shower, my hair did feel really soft. So that's a good thing. My hair was really soft after using it, but, as you can see in the clips like my hair was frizzy like there was no definition happening. There was no like like. Where are my curls like they're? Just like you know they weren't really defined and moisturized and stuff, so no like throw it in the trash. Okay, throw it in the trash. I'M gon na just be real with y'all. This is not for us. This is for them other people, it's for them. Other people, okay, i just got ta - be real because y'all know like some products, just don't be for us and unfortunately it's this product so monday, monday, hair care, whatever like y'all, need to get it together, cause this ain't. It you say it's moisturizing, where the moisture where, where all right y'all, so you have my opinion, my verdict on this new monday care products, that's out right now at target um yeah! I'M sorry! If you wanted to try this - and i told you that you should trash it, because i'm just helping you girl, don't waste your money on it.
