#NaturalHair #CheapHairCare #HairProducts

Hi everyone welcome this video was inspired by the climate around us, so much as in turmoil. So much as uncertain people's money is just funny in this climate that we're in, and so i thought there was no better time to do. A video focused on natural hair care products that really are up to par with the more expensive products i reach for these products. Anytime price does not make them less than they are really good products. For the price point, and in this video i decided to kind of take out any of my personal biases about companies, because i know that when your coins are not optimal, it's more about what you can get in that moment, and i want to give you that Resource list in this video, this category was not easy, so in alphabetical order, we're going to start with the cantu shea butter for natural hair, sulfate free cleansing, cream shampoo. This is a staple for me. I use this all the time it's sulfate free. Yet it is very, very cleansing: it has ingredients that will get silicones off the hair very effectively without stripping the hair. So it's a really good kind of balance in between something that's very, very clarifying and something that's very, very hydrating. So for people who, like the cleaner, feel to your hair around five dollars, this is a steal. This is a gym. You can buy one of these probably get through the whole year. Next up, we have cream of nature argan oil shampoo. This is a definitively moisturizing shampoo and it's a great alternative to some of my more used moisturizing shampoos. This one does contain silicone. It'S not a natural ingredients list at all, but it is very moisturizing. It will not strip the hair to death. The smell is fine. It'S more of the perfumey type of things and it's more in the five dollar six dollar range available most places and then the last shampoo i'm going to mention is hydrating. It is the care care hydrating, detangling shampoo, this one i haven't used in a while, but the ingredients have not changed in this one. It'S still a really really good shampoo that will actually hydrate the hair, which is harder to find in this price point. It is a really really good, hydrating shampoo for natural hair, again, not clean ingredients, not natural, but if you want hydrated hair, this is a really really good way to go. This was an easy category, of course, one that i actually had to narrow down so buckle up. First up, we have eaten body works, jojoba, deep conditioner, an absolute favorite of mine. This one does not have a lot of slip, but if you apply the silicone hair, you get more slip than not. This definitely will give you more moisture. It'S hydrating, it's not one that feels great going on, but coming out it makes the hair feel good. Definitely use this one with heat if you want optimal results, i love that eating body works, has more natural ingredients and it's available everywhere, always under 10. Then one of my absolute favorite conditioners that have protein is the hass coconut monoi conditioner. You can get this in little packs for one dollar or ulta beauty cells. It is for, like 6.99 8.99, one of those for a six ounce, and it is a really really good. Strengthening conditioner that will not leave the hair. Hard is readily available and the ingredients are good as well throwing it back. We have the giovanni 5050 hydrating conditioner. This is a really nice conditioner that you can get under ten dollars, but also a lot of times in marshalls and tj maxx. They have these really really big sizes for like 12 13 as well. So don't sleep on that. It'S really really nicely. Hydrating has a great slip, will leave the hair very moisturized and you don't have to use a lot. So i like this one for families as well. I had to mention this one, because this is a strengthening conditioner, that is also vegan. It has keratin protein and that is harder to find under 10. This is the milk creek botanicals keratin conditioner, the aloe conditioner, and the biotin conditioner also contain hydrolyzed keratin and they're, also vegan friendly. So milk creek botanicals is a really really good way to go. It'S usually available in health, food stores. It is natural as well as vitamin shop and it usually can range from 6.99 to 9.99. I found um, i buy it on amazon for 6.99, but it is available in whole foods and vitamin shop for a bit more another absolute favor and staple of mine. For one whole whopping dollar in the suave tropical coconut conditioner, arguably one of the best conditioners on the planet has tons of slip. He'S very moisturizing has no silicones none of that crap. It'S pretty clean for a one dollar conditioner. I also can use this as a deep conditioner. It just is that hydrating for my strands is one freaking dollar and you don't have to use a lot. I get it everywhere in sally beauty, you can get the texture id collection and i'm mentioning the deep treatment mask. It is a really really good treatment, in my opinion, used best with heat, of course, but you can use it without heat as well. The beauty of texture id being available in sally beauty is that you can always get a deal on it. Don'T ever pay full price, for it always wait for either the buy two or buy one get one or something like that and get this for a lower price. Another really really good bang for your buck is the tresemme botanic conditioner. I think it's like 32 ounces. You can get it at most walmarts targets, etc. Um the ingredients are pretty good, it's not natural, but it doesn't have. I don't believe it has any silicones at all. Don'T quote me, but it is very. Very moisturizing for the hair has a great slip, will help you detangle it's a favorite another one that is only available. If you have a trader joe's in your town. Is the trader joe's tea tree tingle conditioner this one will give you so much bang for your buck. You can use it as a deep. Conditioner has good slip, not the best, but good slip is pretty thick, so i love it for my texture. It'S readily available for 3.99 and you get 16 fluid ounces. I mean it's a great bang for the buck and last in this category is the v05 moisture milks conditioners. My favorite is strawberries and cream. I just like that scent a lot, but these are also one dollar and readily available in most stores. It is not something you should sleep on has great slip. Will give you good moisture. You can detangle for days if you're, just a co-wash person. This is a good way to grow. The ingredients aren't bad in this one either and, like i said it's just an ultimate bang for your buck. Coming back to cantu, we have the cantu shea butter for natural hair, leave-in conditioner. It'S important that you use the natural hair version of these. The other versions of the cantu products have less than desirable ingredients. Shea butter from natural hair, leave-in conditioner, is really really nice to me. It comes in a jar, has good slip, great moisture, it's about five dollars in most places. It'S really one that you should not sleep. On going back to the always book goodies we have giovanni direct leave-in conditioner. This has been a staple in the natural hair community for a very long time. It'S very moisturizing has a lot of really good slip, but won't weigh the hair down. It will leave the hair nice and light. The ingredients are really good. It'S more the natural category and this one is again available at most health food stores. It'S also, i think, in target, and it's definitely available in marshalls and tj maxx and places like that. One that i had to mention for various reasons is the gvp paul mitchell. The conditioner - and i wanted to highlight this because the jvp brand at sally beauty has a lot of high-end products like their knock-off of high-end products, whether that's ethical or not, you know, but this one you can get for. I think, like 6.99, maybe 8.99 at sally beauty, but the original is 22 dollars. I love using this for wash and go. This is perfect for watching goes because it gives your hair a little hole that will help with curl definition. It still will leave the hair light and it goes a very, very long way. One of my absolute favorite leave-in conditioners is the eating body works, coconut, shade, leave-in conditioners, i mean regardless of price. This is still one of my absolute favorite leave-in conditioners. I, like the smell of this, a lot. It'S more sweet has good slip, won't weigh the hair down, but it's still good and creamy, which is optimal for my hair type. This will pair with a lot of different stylers and the price is good. It'S like 8.99. Usually, for eight fluid ounces, i, like don't sleep on this and then because of my hair consults i've been doing lately. I had to mention at least one shea moisture product. That'S the shea moisture, hibiscus, curl and style milk. Now shea moisture can be funny at target at walmart. You can get it in the 9.99 range 997 range online. It'S usually more than that, and so i would definitely go in store for this one. I, like that milk a lot and though shea moisture, continually changes things that milk's performance remains the same. I do often recommend it to people it's a great leave-in conditioner and it's a great styler. There are a lot of options in this category as well. We'Re going to start with the ampro olive oil gel, an absolute favorite of mine has been for many years, and i love pairing this with the cantu shea butter for natural hair, leave-in conditioner combo works beautifully. I bought this tub for 6.99 a while ago. It'S 32 ounces. You can get this in walmart for a 16 ounce tub for two dollars: no eight ounce stuff for two dollars. This is so nice. I think this is a great alternative to wetland extreme gel and it's inexpensive. Speaking of cantu, we have the canned two shea butter for natural hair, coconut curling, cream, a great product. Many people who don't like the leave-in, like the coconut curly cream, are very very similar if you're looking for a moisturizer for your dry hair that doesn't have too much water. I really like this. I like using this on straight hair and again it's five dollars. Nowhere to the market, but still really good, is the curls, the ultimate styling collection b, control, coral sculpting gel. This is six dollars and available at target love that girls came out with the less expensive collection. I think more brands need to do that. This is the moment to do that and it has good hold. It will leave the hair soft. I have a review coming on it, but this is definitely a good bang for the buck. In my opinion, and then what would this video be without at least one eco styler gel um? I love this eco styler gel the crystal for slicking back my hair, but i also enjoy the olive oil for wash and go's, or the argan oil for washing goes that one eco styler can range in price, but i wouldn't buy any over ten dollars and there's So many choices to try, i do have a playlist with all the ones. I'Ve tried continuing our affair with eating body works. We have the curl defining cream. I really like this for wash and go. I love putting this under a gel. I also like it for twist outs, but i really prefer for wash and goes for twist outs. I prefer the eden body works, natural pudding, souffle. This is definitely a favorite of mine. I think it has a bit more moisture than the coconut curling cream. So i like this for twist outs more, but both work really well for styling and pair really well with the coconut shade, leave-in conditioner, more natural gels in this category can be a challenge, but geo body has your back. There'S the giovani la hold and styling gel. This i only find online or in whole foods normally, but it's 8.99 now, for i think, six ounces of gel - and it has strong hold very strong hold - has a good cast on it. You can even have crunch so so, if you're, the person who only likes more natural products but still want to gel this is the one you can't sleep on the talia washi curly curl cream. It'S really really nice for twist outs. I also like it at undergels for wash and goes it's a really good product for that and it's inexpensive. I usually find this one in target and beauty supply stores. I find delia washi products, mostly in beauty, supply stores for sure texture id is still hitting it out of the park with the styling cream. I actually use this for a wash and go that i adored, so i would use it for that, but i most like it for twist outs and braid outs and things like that pair it with your favorite leave-in. It gives my hair nice moisture and a good amount of hold, not a whole lot, but enough hold, and it just gives you a great twist out and again it's not expensive and definitely you can get it for a discount at sally beauty, and there was no Way, i wasn't going to mention a wetline extreme professional styling, gel they'd be playing with this formula now, but this is the most up-to-date one um, it's usually anywhere from two to four dollars. It'S inexpensive. The hole is a lot. It'S pretty strong, it's not as strong as the original formula, but it's still a good strong hold and it's like your fail, safe, wash and go one that will last you the whole week using an inexpensive product. My favorite pairing for this is the gbp paul mitchell. The conditioner and i thought about leaving this category out of this video, but i mean this is important to most naturals. First, we have the african pride pre-poo, and this one is in the five dollar range you can find it usually at beauty, supply stores, uh, walmart and dollar general usually, and it has tons of really really good slip, doesn't have silicones and like rest of the collection And we'll just detangle your hair, just like that, making her very, very soft, it's a really good way to go. We have the just for me curl piece, detangling treatment, love that one! That'S my favorite of all the ones on this list. It'S five dollars at sally beauty. Supply will give you just really really soft hair that is easily detangled very quickly, and the ingredients are definitely decent and then last but not least, is the taliyah jeed detangler, and i love this especially if you have kids. This is one that you can kind of slap in and they can kind of like bounce around for a moment and then you can detangle their hair. So it's really really a good detangler. In my opinion, for a good price, i love talia yg products. Um, the ingredients are pretty good in this one, and this is readily available. Most places was so much. This video is probably very long, and i apologize for that, but i really just wanted to get a bunch of really good products out there for you guys, um, and i do actually recommend that you pick these up in store. I feel like that's where you're going to get your best bang for your buck. I am going to provide links to all these via a kit, because that's going to be the easiest way with this many products, i don't think they're going to fit in the description box, but i just want to reiterate that you can turn to these anytime. These are really really good products and you do not have to spend twenty dollars fifteen dollars even more than ten dollars to have great natural hair. So there are so many that aren't on this list. I really capped it at 30 because this video was gon na be long um, but definitely in the description box. Please share with everybody your other favorite products under 10 for your natural hair and until next time please be well, be safe and find a bit of joy in everyday bye. You

FunctionalProductJunkie: Such an awesome video!!! Natural hair doesn’t need to be expensive folks!!!

kittyskid1: You need to receive a humanitarian award for this one!! With so many products out there that cost [for me] an arm and a leg, YEP! Humanitarian Award goes to "A Love 4 Me"; by the way-, what--or who-- inspired your channel's name?

Renee Johnson: Giovanni, V05, Suave, Tresemme, EdenBodyworks, Shea Moisture were ALL I used when I first went natural. I still vouch for them today, hence this comment lol, and if I was on a budget or strapped for cash I will definitely go back to them all. I hear and have viewed tons of great reviews on African Prides Aloe prepoo. Wish I had a seen a video like this when I first started on my natural hair journey.

Ryn D: Unfortunately, my hair is bougie so outside of shampoo, my hair just reacts better to higher end products. I am interested in trying the garnier masks and eden bodyworks marshmallow masque.I used suave as a kid, tresemme shampoo and conditioner and creme of nature argan shampoo in college. I'm actually still using the cream of nature now since I haven't come across a black owned shampoo as moisturizing for my hair as that one. My hair has always hated cantu and shea moisture . Thank you for providing this resource! I know thirdeyeangel doing a whole week on affordable products as well, such a coincidence!

C.: Nice suggestions! If possible, insert picture of the product as you name them, for the ones you don't have on hand. Would make it easier to identify and find in stores

What The Kink: Hmmm...I've become a bourgie old woman so lemme think...The Maui Moisture Curl Cream is a nice less than $10 option. It has the heavier ingredients that Shea Moisture puts in all their products FURTHER down the ingredients list.

HeyyAshleyyy: YESSSSS. Suave is so underrated. I talk about it on my channel a lot. Cheap and does the job.

PreppyFay12: Giovanni 50:50 balancing conditiner is my favorite “cheapie” conditioner. You can get it at Marshall’s or TJMaxx for $12.99 for 33.8 oz. It has GREAT silicone-like slip WITHOUT silicones. It’s a staple conditiner in my stash to use before I shampoo to detangle and soften up my hair before I shampoo. I also prepoo with coconut oil to get some shed hair out beforehand on dry hair, but this just really softens my hair and has the shed hairs slipping out my hair before shampooing. SUPER UNDERATED conditioner.

T Will: Yesssssss for the Tressemee Botanique ! That’s my favorite rinse out conditioner and the VO5 is my #2. That AP Pre poo after taking out braids is the GOAT !

Kiki: Favorites under 10 dollars I like are the Aphogee Curlific Leave In and the curlific texture treatment at 8$. Everything else I have is 15$ and up. Like Camille Rose. At those prices I betta not hear a bad review from it.

Theresa Wilks: Lately I have been using the Garnier Frutis Treet Aloe and Avocado Shampoo, Conditioner, and Deep Conditioning Mask these to me are moisturising, Vegan with no silicones all are under 10.00 at Walmart they also have Mango Line and the third one I can't remember and for Styling I use the Cantu Curl Creme Activator w/ the Cantu Styling Glue Gel or the Eco Olive Oil

Elizabeth Johnson: I really enjoyed this video! My go to and ONLY rinse out conditioner is the Giovanni 50:50 balancing conditioner. That slip and moisture... is so good! I try to stock up when I see at T.j. maxx/Marshall’s. I also love the Just For Me Detangling treatment. It melts the tangles away!

Patricia Campbell: This was a great video giving many options especially when you are on a budget

S Maxwell: Thank you so much for this much needed review for me .. that African Pride pre-poo was a game changer for my hair

I Mac: My go to affordable products are Eden Bodyworks. I can literally make any product from them work for my hair, but the GOAT for my hair of the stylers is the Hibiscus Honey Hydration Custard. My hair is pretty bougie in all honesty, and doesn't do well with tons of synthetic ingredients so I don't usually try too many inexpensive products. Thank you for the video, I'll have to check out some of these!

Cup Cake: Now I like the Eden Bodyworks deep condish but I never tried the leave-in. I think I will keep that in mind when I repurchase the dc.

Melody P Paul: I found the larger 32 oz size Mill Creek products in Marshall’s for 7.99 I also find TGIN tea tree moisture leave (as well as other products in their lines) in there for 9.99 and say it’s a good back up for CR Moisture Milk.

Keri Lewis: I just tried the eden body works soufflé with xtreme wet line gel and I’m in love!!! I think I like this better than the curling cream. I can’t wait to try it for a twist out!

Chury Guevara: Great info! Adding to my list

Michelle Elizabeth: The Herbal Essences charcoal conditioner and Herbal Essences hello hydration are 2 really nice inexpensive conditioners to try

Denise Evans: I continue to learn so much from you. This video is right up my alley.☺

Kearsten W: I love watching these videos! You're so passionate about hair Care and ways to save some coins!!! Thank you.

TBella26: I use or have used some of those products as well. I would recommend the Edenbodyworks Jojoba Manoi dc.. that is one of my faves!!!!☺☺ They have sales, seems like all the time, so you can get it even cheaper than the 9.25 loll Great video!!!

SharonDJohnson515: Glad to know Hask is in Ulta! I like Giovanni serums, too; have yet to get that gel

TiffanyGrateful: Thank you! You've been my go-to channel for years. When my friends decided to go natural I told them to find you on YT and IG.

Memi M: Fantastic video chock-a-block full of practical useful information about budget friendly products; most of which are also available in the UK. (We always have to pay more for stuff over here though). Anyhoo, tis much appreciated

BrownFaceTV: Hmmm, how do you feel about the infamous Hello Hydration and do you like the shampoo to the Tea Tree condish at TJ’s? Great video, I really appreciate this! My daughter’s hair is super thick, long and kinky and I need economical choices for her. Can’t be running through my Adwoa

Anne El: the AS I Am leave - in in the Grow & luxe is pretty good. So is the cowash but i think that it's just over the 10$ by .95 cents

Hagan Monét: the shea moisture milk is cheapest on amazon!!

PINKDiva88: My hairs a snob. If I can't pronounce it she doesn't like it lol. I've tried Cantu products and my hair doesn't like them. I would like to try more of the Eden body works products. Excellent video.

Bri Lauren: Loved this!! Thanks

Deven Richard: Video was fire also give a person like me lol good opportunity kind of pick and choose how when and why you choose high end products in certain categories vs not and gave bomb hair either way ❤️

Cicely Neal: Your hair is growing beautifully

slim 788: ❤ your video. good to know there is quality products that are cheap . .Q.is the african pride moisture miracle a good shampoo to remove silicone?

Zee Xoxo: Thank youuuu ❤️

Ana Cruz: Great video!!!

Pretty Natural: Great job

Latisha Mitchell: I love how you sound. I enjoy your videos

Maya Arroyo Burton: iherb.com has a lot of affordable nautural/vegan hair products as well.
