Monday Haircare Review | Monday Volume Shampoo & Conditioner On Flat Hair | Does It Work?

Hey guys how you doing, i hope, you're doing really really well. Thank you so much to whoever it was that recommended monday haircare to me. I think i got an instagram dm and this is a brand i have seen everywhere in terms of popping up on ads. I get instagram ads for them all the time. I noticed their point of sale setups in tesco and i have been curious, but i've never thought to pick them up and then someone said that they wanted to know my recommendations or my review of a product, and i was like that is my time to pick These up, because i haven't yet - and it sounds like a range that i would enjoy, so i started off with the monday shampoo. This is their volume, specific line and, of course, their conditioner too. So the duo i'm gon na be trying out today, showing you how they work volume for me, is something i totally like on my hair. My hair just sits so flat, and so i'm always looking to see if i can get volume as a side effect of products, whilst also keeping my hair hydrated and protected too. So i'm really curious to see how these work. I specifically got these off of asos, but, like i mentioned i've seen these up in tesco, i've seen them just kind of pop up in a little few different places, and i'm just like. I have to try you. I think that these were about five pounds each. So the system was about 10 pounds, their cheapest ones are about four pounds and they also have different ones for different hair goals. So, like i said this specifically is volume i think they have hydrate can't quite remember the others, but they do have an entire range that you can kind of match with what your hair is looking for. So with that said and done, i'm gon na dive straight into the video i'm gon na come back when i have wet hair, so we can of course apply the shampoo and conditioner together we can see what the formula is like and how this not only compares To the standard, shampoo and conditioner i tend to use already, but also how it works, is a line how the formulas are so with that all said done, let's dive straight into it, okay, so my hair is now washed. This has specifically ginger extract 00 sls and it's peter certified and a lot of basically what the monday marketing kind of was was like salon results at an affordable price which a lot of hair brands kind of twist. So i'm really excited to see what these guys say: lack in life time to revive give your hair so much body it'll, have a voice of its own, obviously apply to wet hair gently rather than rinse. It'S quite a big bottle as well. These are 350ml. I quite like the way that these look of course, they're very aesthetic, they'll, look cute on like either my bath or my shower, and i think that generally like it's obviously very cute for the price too, because not many products look like this, but yeah. I think that the branding is really cute. I love the fact that it's embossed there with obviously white writing on a pink kind of bottle again just being picky, but it's very very cute. I love the fact that it's a pump, let's see what the formula is like. Oh, it's clear, i imagine this is going to be pink for some reason, but it's not it's clear, so what i always do to lather up a shampoo before i use, even if i use just like a normal shampoo in the shower when i'm about to cleanse My scalp, i always love it in my hands like this, just to make it more like the consistency of a cleanser that you use in skincare, and then this helps your shampoo go even further. This is what i learned when i first started using olaplex and i applied to all of my other shampoos, because it makes such a difference, because now that is a much nicer formula. I'M just going to apply this straight to my scalp and we'll see how this lathers, okay, that's leveled up so well. I used two pumps next time. I'M only gon na use the one because that went so far. Can you just see how much product that turned into that's incredible, wow, okay, that feels so so good? So i normally only shampoo once i know some people like to double cleanse, but for me i don't feel like i need to honestly. I don't use that many products and i don't get that much product build up, so i'm gon na go wash this out and i'll be back to apply the conditioner, but so far that formula does feel really really high quality. Honestly, laddered so well, and as i mentioned, this is very similar to skincare in regards you want to look after your scalp. Just like you do your skin, it's where new hair grows and the fact that this is claiming to add volume. I'M super excited about that because, honestly i, like volume so much and i need to find a good haircare system that gives me a bit more volume, especially when i need it, but yeah so far, at least from a cleansing point of view. This has really impressed me: okay, shampoo out, let's apply the conditioner. Can i just like the fact as well like it just feels very thought out the packaging, because that's to turn it like off and that's to dispense the product, and it just feels very, very, like nice feels really really nice. The conditioner itself is now a white color, and this has a definite perfume scent and i think that that's just to add to the like feminine look of this product feels less kind of like thick as other conditions. I'Ve tried on my channel recently, but i take this down to the mid length and ends. I don't bring this up to the scalp at all, and this here is just going to add that moisture and i'm hoping that the shampoo is going to help add the volume and then together our recipe for success in regards to adding volume. We shall see it's so hard for me to get volume on my hair, so i'm not sure if i need this or a miracle, but i'm all up for trying a new kind of product line and also seeing if it does help me get that. Okay, that feels amazing in the hair. I have to admit that really feels like it's going to be hydrating conditioning and just add that moisture in which you definitely want to from the conditioner and yeah. I'M really excited to see how this works and also, if you've ever tried any of the monday haircare. What ones did you try and what product should i try next because, honestly, so far, i love the aesthetic of it really impressed with that shampoo. That'S like such a good quality shampoo conditioner feels very conditioner-like, but still one that i feel like is going gon na hydrate my hair. Well, so i'm gon na go jump in the shower just rinse this all out and i'll be back once my hair has been dried honestly, considering the price of these being so affordable. You get tons of product in there. I'M really really impressed with the brand. So far, of course, we will see specifically how much volume this gives me, but even without the volume, i feel like that. This is a great duo, so i'll be back once my hair's dried and we shall see the final result. Okay, so i didn't pick up these products for a little while because i didn't think they'd work too. Amazingly for me, i'm someone that just doesn't find too much like insane value in terms of doing shampoo and conditioner reviews. Unless i try a product - and i know that it works insanely or i just want to give my opinion on something - that's perhaps hyped or anything like that, but this line has amazed me. I think, there's two things i want to talk about. First of all, the volume, as you can tell my hair, is still a little bit flat, but slightly more volume than perhaps i usually get from just my standard, shampoo and conditioner. So i'm not mad at it again. It'S just my hair, my hair, just it's very weighted, and so i don't get tons and tons of volume, but i think there is still a little bit there. So for that reason i really like that i feel like there's also added volume in terms of my lengths so like in regards to like the ends they're. Just i feel like they just look a bit fuller than perhaps they usually do. You guys are probably going to be the better judges of that than i am, but i just feel like there is just more volume in, like all degrees of my hair, so i am really impressed with the fact that this has added kind of what i wanted. It to do obviously to have a little bit more volume would be great, but it's down to genetics, it's down to my hair type, so um. I appreciate that monday can't get down to a dna level and change that so yeah. I'M actually impressed with that side of things. It feels so weightless too, and i think that that's how it really helps to get that volume. But my hair feels incredible, like i just didn't think that this line would do such a good job and, like again i didn't pick this up for a while, because i just thought it's just another shampoo and conditioner. It'S just another brand. It'S just someone else trying to get into hair care like there's so many reasons why i kind of fighted to pick this up, because i just didn't think i'd be so impressed. But clearly they have proven me wrong and my only regret is not picking this up. Sooner to share with you guys, because i feel kind of bad, because they've been out for a little while, but my hair also feels incredible. I didn't expect the insane shine the softness, the detangling, but i achieved all of that too, and i normally only get that from more of an expensive, shampoo and conditioner there's some really affordable ones. I'Ve had great success with, but i absolutely love these not only that the packaging is so so cute. I literally can't wait to put these all like in my bathroom they're gon na look amazing. I know that heidi will love using these my little girl, because they're, pink and cute and she'll like she's one of those people that doesn't let me like wash her hair. So i think she'll. Let me with these and, like my hair, looks incredible. What do you guys think i'm not like losing? The plot? Am i this is so good for a shampoo and conditioner without using a hair mask what has happened with hair care. Recently, i feel like every brand has like stepped up the game and been like. We'Ve got this we're going to like make things even better, because i just didn't. I didn't think that of these products going into this. I did not think they'd be this good, but they are and they're 350 meal when they were like five pounds each so super affordable wow. Like i'm shocked. I also saw that some people said that their hair felt greasy after using them, but i definitely don't have that it feels so weightless. There'S nothing in my hair that feels weighted and again, like you guys, can probably see that better than i can just feels amazing. So good so um wow i mean i can't wait to try more. Let me know what you guys have tried from the brand, because it is still really new to me. So i'd love to try a few more products, whether that's other duos, i'm not sure if they have any other haircare. But perhaps that's in the work. I imagine so if they bought out shampoo and conditioners, i'm gon na guess that they're gon na be making a hair mask soon if they haven't already so yeah. I'M really like excited to keep an eye on this brand because it was affordable, worked well, did what it said it did, and i really like it really really like it and i'm so pleased i finally tried it and shared it with you guys because yeah as You can probably see my hair just looks in great condition today. Thank you. This looks so good. I just love the aesthetic of it. I love it. I really love this brand. So much i didn't think i would. I thought it would be a gimmicky. I thought it would just be like another, shampoo and conditioner, but clearly not clearly not wow. I mean, like i say, really really amazed so pleased. I tried it loved the bottles, love the pumps, love the branding, love the results. Wow i mean i can't say any more, so i will leave that here.
