Im very tender headed and they were very rough with my head so they started pressing my hair when I was little because I would cry when they comb it. Fast forward to coming here as a teen, started relaxing it, hairdressers loved how thick my hair was and always complimented me. So I’ve always had in my mind that I have “bad hair” when I don’t. It’s natural now since Covid and I’m always amazed at the length when I blow dry it. Im 50 and can say I still have a head full of thick hair.

I can tell looking at it that when she trains it to be moisturized more regularly that she is not 4c. Have her change habits like wash and condition once every week, deep condition every 2 weeks. Use a moisturizer and seal as soon as her hair starts to feel like it's going dry befor it gets dry. My hair used to look like this until I learned how to properly take care of it. I went from co called 4c to 3b 3c and 4a. With Love Someone who was given the knowledge how to properly care for our hair textures by the Most High when I prayed and asked Him for it, in His Son's name 14 yrs ago. Been doing this on my hair and my hair flourished and everyone who let me put my hands in their head. Also you did a beautiful job on her hair. Shalawam..
