In today's video it is a get ready for Vlogs With Me. I have like three sit down Vlogs that I want to do and if you you, I don't know what to say, I'm just from creating another Vlog and running my daily errands. So I feel a bit weak, my body is: is a bit weak? I feel a bit tired, so I have a few things here that I want to to have to give me the strength and the energy to keep going. I have to predatise predators, okay to Predators. I have this 150 dresses yogas. I have this um crackers. I have a melon, I have this mango and another one, and I of course have this mango juice, which I don't think makes. This is mixed. Okay, juice, not mango, sorry, which I don't think makes any any any sense right now, because I think this one comes more in handy than the juice. So let's do this together. Foreign. Thank you. The plan was to begin this small makeup with you, but my friend decided to misbehave again anyways, so I am done. I don't do a lot of makeup. I don't do a lot. This is just Foundation. I have sunscreen under this Foundation because I'm planning to step out soon after this yeah, basically and my eyebrows, my hair, I'm not planning to do much on it, but I think I can just give it a bit of moisture. I will moisturize it with water, so the basics that I will be sharing in today's video is my monthly recap, and for that I will be documenting here on on YouTube for the weekly Recaps, I'm documenting on my insta stories. They are really motivating me. Kudi tumor, like I tried the everyday cups, but that one looks like it can give me a bit of pressure yeah. So if you do, you see me doing Recaps. It is a personal though I searched here on YouTube and I saw people actually do monthly Recaps. The person who I saw doing something like close to that, but not exactly that, is convocation. That'S monthly, reset. She kind of sets goals on what you want to do what she wants to achieve at the beginning of month, if I'm not wrong so yeah. Quite honestly, I tried doing monthly resets, because kanfake also inspires me in a different dimension, but um that kind of being of setting goals and things that I want to achieve within a month. It gave me a bit of pressure. I think I did that way way. Back in 2021, and then I stopped, I recently thought of doing monthly Recaps an inspirational that came honestly quite from within, because I loved doing the insta stories weekly recap and it just hit me. I can be doing a monthly Recaps and then I documented that on YouTube and first being this is my first monthly recap. So the inspiration of monthly Recaps on Instagram that one came from Sharon K, mwangi the inspiration of doing monthly, not monthly, but living alone, diaries that one came from Michelle Choi that girl she's, like um she's from Korea. If I'm not wrong and then she lives in New York, it's been a long minute since I last watched her, but that is the truth about her. That is where I got my inspiration. I don't know why I mentioning this, but I think it is important to mention where I'm getting my Inspirations, so that is it so the goal for my recaps is showing gratitude to myself appreciating myself for for the list of things that I'll be making, I feel, Like for such a long time, I have stopped appreciating me it's like for such a long time. I began to put other people fast and then I began to just put myself. Second, I just came to that realization, especially 2022. I really spent that year putting other people in front and myself coming. Second, so the purpose of me doing monthly Recaps is so that I can be appreciating me for very tiny, significant and every insignificant thing that I do. That is the purpose for the Recaps that I'll be documenting on YouTube, because you guys so I have this book. I wrote the Recaps on date. 25. If I'm not wrong. No, I wrote on date, 25 of January. I tried to do this video on Tuesday date. Seven, but I failed terribly because that Tuesday, I was feeling quite low first thing that I'm appreciating myself for is this AMC? I'M not sure you can see it this seat that I'm seated on here. I bought it in the in the in January 2023. I wanted to get a basket since there is this living alone, Vlog that I did where I stated how much I bought this seat, where I got it and the kind of seats that I was looking for. I know I could have managed to get it in 2022, but there was a specific seat that I was looking for. That another thing is that I was able to write down my my vision board. The last time I wrote a vision board was in 2020 and then because I wrote it way before Corona hit. I was unable to achieve most of the things that I had written down in my vision board, so I couldn't uh gave up and in 2021 2022 I never wrote down my vision board, but this year I managed to write a vision board which I wrote on This same day, date 24 January, but I'm not gon na upload that on YouTube I will, as the end of this year or at the beginning of 2024, as I review what I have attained, most of them will be answered. Prayers so I'll be sharing with you guys when time come another thing I'm appreciating even those who came in my space and just made me feel worth like this notebook that I'm using right now I was given by uh, not a friend, not a stranger, a familiar. Stranger, I don't know how to call them. I went to for my you know, for my orders, just like any other day and then and then this guy had a couple of these books and he was like okay, I can just. I can give you one so that okay, it is branded it is, it has a it, has a bit of information inside and he was like anyone. I can. I can give you this so that he added something, and I felt motivated for being given these daddy. Another thing is this glass I can cook with most of the times. I only boil water or I cook tea in it. I was gifted my by my sister at the beginning of this year, and this was like a win. I really loved it. I love how it it makes me feel. Basically, it is about how I feel now that matters from now on. Another thing that I want to appreciate myself for is that I was able to switch a brand. You know how hard it is when you are used to a specific brand now being able to switch to another new brand. It takes like a lot of Courage, so I switched from Nivea. I have been a Nivea girl for such a long time. I have tried. I think every every type of lotion by Nivea - I love them all - they smell good. They are killing me. I love them, but now there is, there is love. For the longest time I have been struggling with dry hands, ashy hands, hands that look tired. Every other time they look darling all that kind of stuff, but when I began to use this Dove, my friend, if you're struggling with my Corners, you know old every time is. This is the lotion to try out. This is the lotion to try out and another thing guys. I just want to appreciate myself because for the longest time I have been giving my hair sulfate products which have not been turning out so well. Let me show you: this is shampoo bowl shampoo, and this is Biola cream conditioner. I loved them because they are a bit affordable, because this one goes for 65 Shillings. This one goes for 150 Shillings. I was using this cream and this is 100 ml goes for 100 Bob, so I was able to upgrade for the shampoo I jumped from 65 shillings to a shampoo that I bought 650. This is kind to sulfate free. The reason that I parted ways with Bola is because it has sulfate. It is really good. I have used it for years, but now it is time that I begin to give my hair shampoo that has not sulfed Christmas. I love this meal and for the conditioner. I moved to this mega growth, shampoo and it is creamy smells good and it is sulfate free, but I want to give you a really quick tip guys when I went to buy this first of all, I ran out of my conditioner in the house, so I Ran to the supermarket near me, so I went and got this and then later I thought I can just go to DuBois and match this with shampoo. You see here it has like a stick. I'M not sure you can see or how I should yeah you see here. It says no sulfate, even for the shampoo, it says no sulfate, but then after I paid before I step out of the shop, something just told me to go through the ingredients and check what have been used to make the shampoo and, to my surprise, the mega Growth shampoo had sulfate in it, but they have a sticker here that says no sulfate. So when you're going for products for your skin care products, hair products just check ingredients and see if they have everything that you want, and maybe they have everything you want, plus that one thing that you do not want, because I think everything else was good. But having sulfate that's what that was a no and that's how I found myself not matching the hair shampoo in the hair conditioner. I was using this movie hair cream, leave-in conditioner. It was good. I have no, I have no complaint, but it did not have a lot of the things that I would love to feed my hair with. So I have this one. That is Dr Miracles. It smells really good. I love the smell and I can't relate it with anything. It'S not that it's that very unique, but I just can't relate it. This has ingredients, but everything that I ever wanted in my hair. I was really wondering where I'll get a product leave-in conditioner - that has grapeseed oil in it, and when I saw this first of all, I read it had shea butter and rosemary and then I went to ingredients and I saw it has grapeseed oil. I was like this: is it and then I checked on the sides, and they said that it doesn't have sulfate, no minerals added, no petrolantum, that one, I don't even know. What'S that and another difficult word again down there, so this one I love it. It is very, very creamy and I'm investing my hair, because I really want it to get to see how long African hair can get. So that's why I even decided to go hit less this time round. I did this many braids myself and I did not give my hair heat. I, like the last three months. I was doing my mini braids in a salon and I would let the hairdresser pass some heat on my hair, which was damaging my hair. Definitely I also bought this take comp that for not apparent reason, I never thought it was in the Kenyan market and again I thought if I find it - maybe it's a 100 or 150 Shillings and, to my surprise I bought it for 30 Shillings. This one helps you pat your hair perfectly. Also, I decided not to be sharing my hair scissors, so I bought this pair and it is specifically for trimming my hair, no other job for this one. That is it for my today's sit down video. I really hope that you enjoyed watching until my next upload always remember that I do not take your time for granted, and I see you in my next video
