Today, I'm going to be showing you guys how I maintain my wash and go for weeks after I've washed and go washed and went I guess day after day, so I'm going to first walk you guys through some options that I will do and then I'll do A demo of what I actually did for this time that I did my wash and go so the first thing is I really like to make sure that I always dampen my hair first, when I'm going to put a whole lot of products into it. Now sometimes I don't do water first, and this is just rare occasions, but I always like to moisten my hair with this, with water or with a leave-in conditioner, so I'll either use a spray bottle. That looks like this, and this one has like a legit spray. Like it goes for a little minute and then my regular spray bottle is the one that you can get from Walmart and it's like 97 cent and it's just a regular spray bottle. So if I want like a little bit additional Kapow, then I'll use a leave-in, conditioner or a curl kind of refresher, something that comes in a spray bottle form that has products in it versus like water with no products. So my options that I've been using lately is the African pride moisture miracle leave-in conditioner. The two ingredients in this one is coconut milk and honey, and both of those ingredients are just great for your hair and honey. I found my hair breathing with you like, so I like to use this and the point of this to refresh and soften your hair. So it's gon na really help by the cream products that I put on after that to really soak into the hair and on the back. It gives you what coconut milk and honey does for you, so coconut milk, replenishes moisture, naturally softens and detangles. So you can also use this as a detangling spray. I'Ve done that a few times, and I also really like the pre shampoo to detangle, even though that's not about this just in case you wanted it and honey is going to naturally retain moisture and add shine, which definitely definitely and then the second product, which is Kind of new I'm still trying it out, but my first few times you I've loved it. So I think I can officially say I really like this, and that is the Camille Rose. Lavender shaken hair spritzer, so this is gon na. Do the same thing is this by the way both of these smell, fantastic, okay, and so I use this one just when I want a different smell honestly, I do it based on smell. I'M not is bad. It'S a conditioning, hair refresher and a detangling spray. So same thing, and so I just used this and spray all of my hair to wet my hair in the same sense that I would with just a regular water and both of these don't have parabens or sulfates. This one doesn't have mineral oil or petroleum they're. Both good for the hair, so the next two things which I'm sure there are more options, but these are just like when I'm thinking of washing go and products that I know work. These are the two they first come to mind. I'M sure there are others and the first one is the one that I'm actually going to use in this video, which is the Cantu shea butter, leave-in conditioning repair cream. This stuff is so good if you've ever tried this. You know that this is amazing. Most can two products work really well for my hair anyway, so this is really good. It really moisturizes my hair. My hair feels soft. When I use this and it's not drying, this is a go-to. I have about this much left. That'S how you know. I really like it because I'm using it and the second one is the Jane Carter solution, curl defining cream. I like this as well. I don't use it as often because I find that it doesn't leave my hair as soft as long. So I have to do this more often than I do the can to cream, but it's still a good cream. I will use this. If I don't have my can sue or I just want to mix it up or if I want a different smell and a lot of things may smell smell this product is once you define curls, reduce, frizz and shrinkage. I don't agree on the shrinkage, though my hair still strikes the same, but those are the two creams that I will use and then lastly, I don't take the creams that I use and my on my hair strands in my scalp, because I find when I do That my scalp gets really really itchy almost to where, like it's having a reaction like maybe cream, products are a little bit too thick for the scalp, which is funny because when I was younger, you know it was a thing for your mom until you Grandma to Grease your scalp, like with petroleum, mineral oil based products, so that's funny how like my scalp, doesn't like it now, but it will flourish back then, with it. I like to use oils in my scalp the first one is easier to use like when my hair is parted. Like I have parts in my hair, like I guess when I have a fresh twist out - and I still have to twist in it's easier for me to get into my scalp - and that is the spray, because I can literally just spray it and then we'll get Into my scalp I love this and I like that. It has the green, olive and lavender in it and then the second one is the wow growth hair oil. I used to kind of think that this was wrong. My hair alive, but now I'm just like. I don't know you know, but it makes me feel good to use it. So I make sure that I always have this on hand, I'm almost out of this and I'm probably gon na rebuy it or if something else, catches my attention. When I go to the beauty supply store, I probably try that, but it's okay, I like that. It really feels like my scalp is being moisturized, which is the most important thing I mean a healthy stout grows, so making sure that it's hydrated is just key and then the last one is the one that I'm actually using today and that is the do grow. Stimulating growth, all I actually kind of think, even though, but I kind of think that my hair grows faster with this. The new wild growth hair oil, but I haven't done any length, chicks or anything like that, so I could be wrong, but I do really like this. This is actually my second one. So that's how you know that I really like it. I didn't bought it again, but it's really good. It does have some ingredients in it that aren't the best so to each his own. So that is all the products that I use and I just wanted to kind of run through those that I will use when I do my remoisturize of my washing gown. So now we're gon na get into the demo of what idea is specifically today. Reading washed your eyes, my washing go so that I can wear this one another week, that's what's not happening really so yeah just keep on watching. So this would I be looking like when I first wake up great. They must stop and move. This is supposed to be in the back and all of my hair is supposed to be covered. So just imagine that's probably how I went to sleep. So this is how I wear my hair at night, I'm gon na so watch it go. I literally just put a scarf on it. Don'T twist it don't do anything when it's in a wash and go State. So my routine is pretty doggone easy. So I'll. Take this off. Thank y'all. Go yeah I'll, be shook! That'S how easy it is. So I'm going to go in with a water bottle. I got this from African pride. Thank You African pride. This water spray bottle is awesome. I mean look at it. I'M gon na spray it here, so you guys can kind of see like what is so cold. So, as you can see, my fro is flat and a mess. I look crazy, so I'm about to fluff it all out and remoisturize. So I don't do this everyday. Of course this lasts me for a few days and then I'll do it again a few days, meaning maybe like three or four days, and then I might do it again. So I'm gon na start by spraying my entire head and then I start to play games edges then, after that I go in with whatever product that I use on my hair on my original washing go day because I don't want to mix products because mixing products Can cause residue - and we don't want this - so I'm going to use the intent to shea butter leave-in conditioning repair cream, which is what I use for my washing go this past time. So I'm going to take a good amount of this and first I just kind of press it all over the fro. No, I don't section my hair, I just put it on there after I've gotten, like everywhere coated on my hair, pretty much. This is when I start to kind of work it into my hair. Just make sure that the white residue isn't super visible. I kind of let it air-dry some and I do keep in mind in this stuff that I want a nice looking shape. So I don't try to fluff out too much, because I want my hair to sit on my head, so I want it to shrink up basically. So then, after I do that, then I'll just go in with this motion that I showed you guys in my washing go routine and I just go in circular motions and just kind of work, the products and and as it dries cuz now it's wet because I Did use a spray viola as it dries, it is going to shrink down song, which is exactly what I want, and now I'm going to moisturize my scalp. So, for that, I'm using these stimulating growth, old and - and again I don't section - I just put it in there across all around my head making sure I get every part. This oil is actually very runny as opposed to the other one. So if I put too much, it is a line rolling down. I know you haven't had that experience, so I tried to put enough, but not like way too much and then I go in and in like circular motions. I use the pads of my fingers to work in that oil, and this is good for scalp massages as well, for helping with hair growth. So that is how I maintain my wash and go for two weeks or more I mean honestly. I try to wash my hair every two weeks, but I've even went three weeks. Don'T tell my body make sure that you subscribe to my channel as well as check out my previous video. I did a back to school makeup. Look if you need some ideas on what you want to wear on the first day for your makeup. Thank you guys so much for watching, and I promise I'll see you guys next time. Alright, guys

Michelle Elizabeth: Girl I just love how you're not into all that "laid edges" and "babyhair" nonsense. Your hair is gorgeous!

Milissa Richards: I can't say this enough. You rock your styles so well. They're simple yet still beautiful.

Danielle Calhoun: First off you're gorgeous! I'm newly natural and it has been a struggle but I feel like lots of people overlook the beauty of 4c hair and how different our strands really are. These great techniques really made my hair flourish I love it!

JenniD: I love that you wear wash n gos. My hair is exactly like yours and this is also my style of choice as well. Two weeks for a wash n go is waaaay to long for me. I'm a chef and I work out so 4-5 days is max for me. Also I do mini pineapples at night so that I don't have to do all that spritzing, and fluffing in the morning. It takes seconds to put to put them in at night and seconds to take them out in the morning. To refresh I only add a tiny bit of oil for shine. If I need moisture I simply allow the steam from my morning shower to reactivate the humectants left over from the products I used initially. I do this with my hair still in mini pineapples so that the hair will stay streched out as I get ready for work. When I'm ready I gently remove my pineapples, finger fluff and go. Because my hair is stretched the pic is rarely needed. I love that you are doing hair videos more!

Angeline Sekle: I love that you WANT it to shrink down! I'm praying for this confidence in my hair that God has given me instead of me trying to always manipulate it to look like I'm Brazilian mixed with Asian

Kim Amos: Ok, so I followed these steps yesterday cause it was wash day and my hair turned out awesome this am! I owe it all to you, thanks Taylor!

SC TravelRN: Your fro is fabulous! Thanks for showing us 4c girls how to rock a wash n go too.

floral capacity: i love how you just dove right into the video! i wish more youtubers did this lol

Lady GrAy: Perfect! This is how I want my hair. It's beautiful!

Lashaunda Blake: I love your hair. One day I am going to build up the confidence to wear my hair like this. I usually wear twistouts and roller sets.

Loulou: And THIS is a wash n go! Bravo. I really love ur channel. I'm a 4C hair girl, thank you

zippyspring: P.S. Can you please do tutorial on this look? I especially love the blush and the eye shadow.

365Nina: Your hair is so thick and beautiful. Thanks for the informative video!

Abi Ade: We have the exact same hair texture and colour!!! I am soooooo happy I found you. Thank you I dont see mych youtubers with our exact textures

katrina hooks: Beautiful.. Just start working with my natural hair.. Finding the products that work for 4c kinky hair can be a challenge... you always make it seem so easy.. thanks for sharing.

Tracey Thomas: Your fro is life and that makeup is on point ●

Pure Beauty: I really love this girl..she is so real...thank you sooo much. I was thinking that I don't have good hair. But with your video ...I'm sooo pride than ever.

SMarie: I love this tutorial, though I gotta disagrew with Cantu products. At first I was using them and loved them, but started reading about the brand and apparently ain't as clean as it states to be and in the long run damages your hair. Like she said "to each their own", but I just decided not to risk it and just changed products. There are a bunch of other good products which are very affordable.

armfrosting: When I wear my fro I put a bonnet on my head at night & when I get up I sit under my hair steamer for 3-5 mins. I usually re-moisturized like you when needed.....every 2-3 days. However, I fluffy & shape my fro; I cut my 4c fro into a long heart shape & I really want that to pop. Anyhow, I like your technique & always you look amazing.

Ria Michelle: “Wash and went “ love it! Great video!
