I'M talking to me, hey guys, welcome back to my channel and in today's video, I'm gon na be dropping some tips to help you. If you are just like stuck and like really struggling to grow your hair, you feel, like you, tried every single thing. You can think of and nothing's working, hopefully the things that I say today can help you kind of get out of that little rut that you're in and really help you to start seeing that growth that you've been trying to get to before we get started. Make sure you give this video a thumbs up click the Subscribe button put your notifications on, so you don't miss any of my uploads. Make sure that you guys follow me on Tick, Tock and Instagram for daily content and all my hair care products are restocked. My inventory is literally sitting behind the camera and it's packed so we've not sold out anytime soon, let's get into the video. So basically I wanted to make this video, because I've seen so many Naturals DM me on Instagram Tick Tock. Whatever talking about I've been trying to grow my hair for so long and nothing's working, it always stays the same length like. I can't figure out what to do. I'Ve tried every single product every single method. I watch so many YouTubers everything and my hair, just not growing, so I put together a list of a couple of things that I do that I think might be kind of unique and that people don't talk about that, might make a difference for you in your Hair growth, if you try it out so number one number one try deep conditioning with oil, so this is actually something that y'all see me do all the time on the wash days, and I always say I do it, but I never really kind of explain why I do it, I guess, when it comes to deep conditioning, it's extremely important that you deep condition correctly, because if you think about it, whenever you do a wash day, you're always cleansing your hair, so you're removing a lot of moisture from your hair and you're supposed To because cleansing is supposed to strip your hair of everything to get it clean, so deep conditioning is crucial because it adds all that moisture back. It really props your hair for staying hydrated and moisturized and shiny and silky for the rest of the time until you wash your hair again. So it's very, very, very, very important. So the reason you might be struggling to grow your hair is because you are not getting the most out of your deep conditioning, so I recommend deep conditioning with oil. I think it makes a world of a difference so number one if you detangle with your deep conditioner, and I do that. Sometimes, if you do adding oil will give you an insane amount of slip, I'm talking in incredible amount of slip. Okay, number two oil really does add a lot of benefits to your hair um. You guys have seen me do a hot oil treatment on here before I think it's been like a year and a half which is crazy when you uh put oil in your hair, and you add some sort of heat like when you deep condition it. It really helps like penetrate your hair and really just adds moisture, and it's just it's just a wonderful thing. So I definitely would say: try adding one of your favorite oils to your deep conditioner. So you can add a deep conditioner and then go over top again with your favorite oil, or you can add your oil and your new conditioner and mix it up like I started doing and that's a lot easier. So I mean it's really up to you. What I'm going to do, let me show you guys the two oils that I like to use the deep condition with so both of these are my hair care line. This is an herbal infused, hair oil. It'S so pretty you guys, and then this is my oil blend. It'S wrapped right now, because I'm getting ready to package it, and so I just add these to my deep conditioner and then I just deep condition. My hair and I always decondition with a plastic bag scarf and lining on top. I don't sit on the dryer that traps in enough heat for me and that's that but yeah. So those are some really good oils that you can add to your deep conditioner and I would give it a try. You never know it can make a world of a difference. Okay, number two pre-poo, I think pre-pooing, is something that's really good to do. If you just feel like your hair is just not given, especially if you struggle with your wash days like you struggle with detangling your hair, you struggle to get your hair looking nice and right each other really just to add that moisture back doing a pre-poo could Really really help and that could really change the game for you. So a couple examples, one that I'm gon na do in my next wash day, which will be up in maybe like two weeks or so it is an aloe vera, pre-poo and I'll show you guys how to do that. It'S on my Tick, Tock and Instagram. If you want to check it out um, but I'm going to make a YouTube video on it, some people deep conditioning before their wash day as a pre-poo, you can do um. There'S like the cardi B mask like any mask like DIY mask like mayo and egg or something or even they have prequels that you can get in the store. So I don't know everybody's hair situation, but I think um giving pre-pooling a shot might be great. I know sometimes it can add an extra hour to your wash day and wash days can be already really long anyways, but it might be worth it if it's going to help your hair growth. The next thing. This is probably the number one thing that I've said since I've been on social media is start using a hair butter to lock in moisture. This is for the people that, just whatever they do, their hair does not stay. Moisturized you'll moisturize your hair and then two days later, it's dry and crusty and crunchy or you just feel like your hair, never has any moisture or hydration. You just feel like it's just always dark. I'Ve said this like 10 000 times, but I'm gon na say it again. The reason why I use a hair butter is because hair Butters, like shea butter, mango butter, cocoa butter. What they do is they lock water and hydration into your hair, because water and oil don't mix so these buttery oils will create a layer, that's sitting above the water in your hair, so that the water has a difficult time escaping because that butter is locked in And they don't mix that makes sense. So that's why I suggest using a hair butter, so I'm going to show you guys some of my hair Butters as examples you can also make your own or I'm pretty sure you can buy some. This right here is a silky Shea hair butter. This was more like a very thick cream, and so it has a basil shea butter. I apply this after my wash day after everyone's my deep conditioner out, and it helps to keep my hair moisturized for weeks um. If you guys watch my hair trims video, I posted last week where I took down my flat twist, and I showed you guys how moisturized my hair was and those flat twists were like five weeks old and I only moisturized when wash day I had moisturized the Entire five weeks and my hair still looked that hydrated um, and that was because I use one of these, so this right here is the original hair butter. This is the next one you can use, so this is called the original, because this was the first hair product I ever had before. I came out with any more hair Butters, and this one is your typical classic like whip shea butter. And finally, you have my herbal infused hair butter and this one has a base of um mango butter, which I love, because it's super lightweight and it's non-greasy and it is infused with almond powder, CB powder and brownie powder. So all these are great again. You can make your own if you want to. I have a ton of recipe, videos on YouTube um. You can also buy some. There are so many other people that sell them, but these are just the ones that I use, because I make them myself. So I definitely recommend adding a hair butter to your hair, routine, okay, so next this one might be a little bit controversial. So again, it's just a suggestion. You don't have to do it, but I think that extending the time between your wash days can actually be very, very beneficial. So we all know that when you wash your hair you're doing a lot to it. If you pre-cool you're doing a pre-poo, then you are shampooing, then you are continually. Then you are deep conditioning then you're rinsing that out. Then you might be blow drying. You might be doing braids. You might be doing twist out like there's just so much going on. So much touching and constant manipulation of your hair. We know that the key to length retention and hair growth is low manipulation unless you touch your hair, the more it's going to grow right because it's just you're not going to be removing moisture from it. You'Re not going to be increasing breakage. Let'S split ends all that good stuff. If you're someone that is washing hair like every single week and you just notice you're getting a lot more split ends a lot more breakage you're, always having to touch your hair constantly and restyle. It maybe try extending your wash day. I used to wash my hair once a week and then I went to once every two weeks and then it was once a month and now for me, it's every four to eight weeks just depending over time. I did extend the time between my wash days to be fair. The reason why I can go so long between wash days is because I'm mainly protective styling, so like for the past five weeks, my hair has been in wigs protective styling, really helps with extending your wash day. So if you're someone that is like a lot of wash and goes a lot of twist outs and stuff, you can go a couple weeks without washing your hair you're, just gon na have to probably restyle your hair once a week. I mean it's up to you, but it's just worth trying. You might notice that your hair responds better to being watched less often, okay, the next thing this is something I actually recently started doing um. I I want to say like the past six months, I've been doing it, so I haven't always is I started using a detangling brush so for the longest time I was like, I don't use a detangling brush that just causes unnecessary breakage and I used to finger You can go look at my old wash Day, videos I used to just finger detangle and then go over that section with a white tooth comb, and that was it and I would notice that, even though I would detangle my hair, the second I rinsed my deep Conditioner out and did whatever to my hair, my hair still be Tangled, and I was like what the heck, and so it would cause more breakage trying to re untangle my hair to flat twist it or do whatever. So I started using a detangling brush. So the brush that I use hold on I'm gon na get it for you guys. So this is my detangling brush. This is the easy detangling brush, and so do you see this bar right here, so you can either put it up here or down here. They say if you have thicker hair to put it down here and if you have looser hair, to put it up here, so obviously mine's down here, like the first time I use this. It wasn't saying y'all know how long and how thick my hair was. But when I use this, I detangle my hair in like less than 20 minutes all of my hair, and when I pulled out all the hair that was limited, I barely had any shade hair like it really just pulled out the shed here. It didn't break my hair off or anything like that, and this really helped change the game for my wash days because it made them a lot shorter and a lot easier. And I really do feel like this helps to reduce a lot of breakage that I would get just from frustration of detangling, my hair with my fingers. I would consider getting a detangling brush or a detangling comb, some type of detangling tool, I'll just stay like that, but this right here this is what's up? Okay, so the next thing that I think could make a huge difference in your hair growth is doing a hair detox like sometimes there's nothing wrong with our hair. You know it may look dry and dingy and damp just doesn't have the same life that it had before, and you just think it's not growing the best. Sometimes you just need to detox my go-to detox is a Benjamin Clay mask. I really feel like a detox. Just helps to like really cleanse cleanse your hair because, let's think about it, when you're a natural you're using a lot of, and even though we shampoo when we cleanse our hair, we can't get everything we're human so that those remnants of like hair products and oils And stuff build up over time to the point where it's just like your hair's, not doing nothing right. So sometimes you just need a good detox to kind of get you right and to start fresh and you'll notice, a huge difference. I noticed every single time. I do a bit tonight, clay mask like the next couple months. My hair is thriving and then when it starts getting limp and dull again, do it again and just repeat so. I may do a detox, maybe once or twice a year, just depending on the state of my hair, but I'm telling you it makes a world of a difference. They have detoxes that you can buy. They have like special rinses that you can buy they're supposed to detoxify, also doing apple cider, vinegar rinses can help detoxify your scalp. That'S a really good thing, sometimes again the same thing with your hair when you're putting all these products on our scalp and it just builds up over time. Even if we're someone that shampoos every single wash day, you don't get everything, so I definitely think sometimes you just need to detox and it's really easy. It'S not hard. It doesn't cost you a lot. It'S just gon na. Take you an extra couple minutes on your wash day, but definitely 100 worth it, okay, and so the last thing that I think will really help to kind of boost your hair growth, if you're struggling if you're blocked, is using better ingredients in your products. So, of course, obviously we all like to buy hair products from the store and I'm not saying don't buy hair products from the store. I still buy hair products from the store, but I think it's just important that you start looking at certain ingredients based on what you want. So, for example, when I was formulating my hair care products um, one of the main things that I wanted to focus on was hydration. That'S why in um some of my products, I use aloe vera juice because it's known for being super hydrating and super moisturizing to the hair. Also, when I was formulating my oils, one of the oils that I really wanted to use was sweet almond oil just because of all the benefits that it has as well as Rosemary and tea tree, because anything that goes on the scalp. I love using tea, tree, Rosemary and or peppermint in those products, so that was a really big thing. So all I'm saying is when you go to the store and you buy products, make sure you are looking at the ingredients and like checking off the things that you see that you want so, for example, I'll say like this, so I just talked about these two Products, this is my herbal infused, hair butter and my Herbal Essence, which is an herbal infused oil. Both of these products are infused with herbs, so I noticed a huge difference in my hair once I started using products that were infused with others, because you know how they always talk about hydrating and moisturizing. Your hair sort of, like your body, like you, always want to make sure you're drinking water to hydrate yourself, but you also need to eat. So we also need to feed our hair, something I learned so this um oil has hibiscus flowers, it has neem Leaf. It has fenugreek seed, it has rose petals. All these herbs can really help to give provide nutrients to your hair, to really give you that extra oomph when it comes to hair growth, same thing with the um herbal infused, hair butter and not just herbs again, it could be any ingredients. I love um products with shea butter. Shea butter is great for natural hair. I love probably to have lavender oil. I really love lavender oil. I think it works really well with my hair, so you just want to make sure that you're, mindful of the ingredients that are going on your hair just so you make sure that what you're putting on your hair is going to you and knocked out of 10. The products you are using are gon na have really good ingredients. It'S just that. Sometimes you may be missing a few things that could be very beneficial, so trying different products with certain ingredients could be helpful, all right guys, so I think that's it for this video. I think that's everything that I feel you can try to really kind of Step Up. Your hair growth get you out of that. You know stuck place that you're in because we've all been there where we feel like our hair growth is stagnant and we just don't know what to do so. Hopefully these will help you out if you like, this video make sure to give it a thumbs up.
