Hi, I'm Chaz Dean, the creator of Wen Hair and Body Care.. I haven't used anything that lathers in my salon, since I've opened it in May of'93. People wonder if I'm not using lather. How am I getting my hair clean? You are cleaning your hair with natural, botanicals, essential oils and essential extract, so you are cleansing it in a gentle way without stripping your hair.. Basically, if you are a man or woman with hair above your chin, ( short hair ), you should be using a pump from your gallon for your first cleanse and a pump for your second cleanse.. I highly suggest pump cleanse and repeat because you're going to get out the dirt, the grimy oils and the difference in cleansing rinsing out and repeating is night and day.. It gives you that much more shine that much more body that much more manageability and it just becomes a different head of hair. For someone with medium length hair about to here. As long as it's not overly thick. Traditionally, you would use two pumps for your first cleanse two pumps for your second. Get in the shower. Rinse your hair, thoroughly and completely with water. Take a full pump from the gallon for the crown of your head, a full pump from the gallon for the back of your head.. Add that extra splash of water work it through and comb it through.. Your first cleanse is a quick cleanse to get out the dirt grimy oils and the product. You know all the styling products. And your second cleanse. You are going to add a pump to your crown and a pump to the end of your hair and that with a splash of water comb, it through. Pin it up for the duration of your shower. That is when it is treating your hair, giving you the balance, giving you the body, giving you the shine that you are going to want for your hair. And so for long hair. From here to here, you are going to use three pumps for your first cleanse. Three pumps for your second cleanse.: A pump for the crown, a pump for the mid shaft and a pump for your ends, cleanse rinse and repeat. For hair. That tends to be more thick, more coarse or those of you who are out there with ethnic hair African American hair just know that the more cleansing and conditioning you use the more frothy, the more creamy the silky it feels in your hair, the better the results Will be for your hair., So don't be afraid to use more. Once you are done cleansing it, then you rinse your hair thoroughly and completely make sure you use the cleansing conditioner as a leave in to soaking wet hair before towel drying. For short hair. You will do about a pea size for medium hair. You will do about a dime size and for long hair about a quarter size, that's mostly through the mid shaft and ends of your hair and just push it and work it into your hair and that keep the moisture and hydration in your hair.. So if you want this hair, that's how simple it is to have beautiful, healthy, shiny hair,

Debra Lavin Martin: Chaz I really like how you not only tell us the # of pumps to use, but show the amount of WEN to!! Awesome! thanks!!
PecsInDaCity: FYI for kinky curly hair that's longer than that of the model in the video, don't try to comb Wen from the root to the tip. All curly girls know that it's from tip to roots for us or you'll pull out all of your hair!
msesq1: I used this product today and I fell in love with it.
BecauseICanChug: nope! men can use it too! even the creator of wen is a man and he said he uses it!
Cisco Ragland: Does anyone know if this has sodium laurel sulfate?
Kimberly Reilly: How much is a gallon? Has anyone tried the pet products? What flavor do you like best?
