Testing Out Dog Hair Vs. Robot Vacuum: Ecovacs Deebot U2 Pro

Hey guys it's yv, and today we have louie and tyrion our whole family's here. So today i wanted to show you guys what i think the best robot vacuum is, so i've had tyrion and louis both for six years now and they are lovely, but they both shed a lot especially louie. His hair is more noticeable because he's big and he has this white hair - that just gets everywhere. Tyrion'S hair is less noticeable because she is brown, but it is still everywhere and i do brush them quite often, and if i do more hair comes out so the product we're going to review today is called ecobox debot youtube pro, so it's an ecovax vacuum. They have a bunch of different models, but the one we're going to use is youtube pro and what's great about this model, is they have both mopping and just vacuuming function? My house is mostly carpet so i'll, be using the vacuum function more, but i will also be using the mopping function for the hardwood floors and we're gon na try both out so today, in order to test out this robot and see what it can really do. Not only am i gon na try to mop and also vacuum the whole apartment, but also i'm gon na add two challenges. One challenge will be louie, which is his crazy, crazy hair. I'M gon na groom him, like always i'm gon na brush him and all that hair that falls out the vacuum is gon na have to get louie's. Hair is very, very long and just gets flies everywhere. It'S really hard to just even hand vacuum, so we're gon na see what this robot can do. The second challenge, it's pretty funny one is where i'm gon na give some catnip to tyrion my cat. She loves catnip, but i don't give it to her that often because it gets too messy. She rolls around in it and she goes crazy. So i'm gon na give her some canned nip. Let her get all messy with it. Let her have some fun and i'm gon na have to robot vacuum it up. I am already getting hair all over myself. While i talk in this video, but hopefully this vacuum can do its job all right. So, let's brush louie speak okay, all right! While he's doing that brushing there, we go see the hair flying already as an all-in-one robot that vacuums and mops in one go with the osmo mapping system. So i haven't even brushed for over 10 minutes and look at this hair. That'S crazy! So yeah, let's see if our debug u2 pro can really get all these hair. Now the real reason i wanted this robot is for the pet system, so for those of you with furry friends like me, if you have any kind of pets that have hair everywhere, this robot is a really good choice, because it's specifically designed to get rid of Pet hair, so another cool thing is that the deebot youtube pro has tangle free brush. So if you go on the back of the robot here is the brush, and this is what you usually have to clean all the time. So i've owned several other vacuum robots before and this is how a normal brush looks like, because there's so much hair just everywhere, it just gets stuck and it's really hard to clean it. I have to use scissors to cut it out and it's a whole mess. As you can see, the hair gets tangled and gets stuck so what youtube pro did? They gave me a normal brush like this, but also came with a tangle free brush just for pet hair. So this is a silicone-based bristle-free brush, so without the bristles the hair cannot get stuck to it. I'Ve already run the robot a couple times and there is literally no hair, which is so nice. Look at the difference. That'S crazy and another great thing is the dust spin. This extra large, 800 milliliter dustbin is perfect to capture and remove unwanted pet hair. This is the largest dust bin. If you open it up, it has so much space for all the pet hair and dust to go into, and you can always switch back and forth between the regular dustbin. That also does mopping. You can add water to it and this excel dustbin, which i will be probably using more for all the pet hair that can gather in here and overall, it's just pretty easy to maintain, because again, with this specific tangle, free brush and a large dust bin, all You have to do is empty it out and clean it out once in a while, and it will be good. It seems like it worked pretty. Well, it vacuumed up louie's hair pretty quickly and easily. So i've connected my divot to my ecobox app. All you have to do is link to your wi-fi and you can easily connect to your robot and when you click on it, there are different mods that you can choose. So there's the auto one where the auto cleaning so d-bot programs, the cleaning path for the entire house or you have the edge cleaning, which is for cleaning all corners and edges. So it's great if you're just trying to get all the corners all the hair. That'S stuck in the corners, then there is spot cleaning which is for cleaning a specific area, there's also a charging mode. So you can always send your robot home to charge, and you can just press this, even while you're away from home. So you can clean your house, plus it comes with a 300 milliliter water tank, which is twice the size of competitors enabling it to cover twice the space and get more done while you relax, unlike other robots, that clean in random patterns, the youtube pro moves in Systematic cleaning path to prevent, missed or repeated spots, ensuring spotless floors, so your home stays free of dirt and grime, like many other robots that usually have to recharge after 60 minutes or so. The bot youtube pro goes up to 2.5 hours before it has to recharge. Again, you can cover up to 2 000 square feet, so it really covers all the apartment space. I need that way. I can do other stuff in the meantime, like i'll pick up, groceries hang out with herbert or walk louie, so many other things. The noise level is also pretty low, so you're able to just work from home or do anything at home while the robot is running now for the second challenge, i'm gon na give some catnip to tyrion so now that she had made a mess, let's make diva Do the work, and so far youtube pro has been great. My favorite part is really the longer cleaning time and larger dust spin. It'S been collecting more dog and cat hair than i've ever expected and tyrion's catnip.
