Hi family welcome back to the channel. Thank you so much for coming back. Today'S video is going to be all about natural hair. I'M going to be showing you how to make my intense diy, deep conditioning treatment with aloe vera and avocado. This treatment is not only perfect for damaged hair; it is also great at reviving your hair after heat damage, it also moisturizes your hair and, most importantly, it is going to help your hair grow longer faster and thicker. I'M also going to be using the treatment to get my hair from straight back to curly. So if you want to know how i make this intense avocado and aloe vera protein treatment then continue to watch all right. Family here are the things you will be needing for your diy avocado and aloe vera intense protein treatment. Now some of these things can be substituted for others, but the most important things are the aloe vera, the avocado and the eggs. As for the oils, you can always choose to add more add less or just use what you have, but for my recipe here are the list of things that i'm going to be using first you're going to need a blender or a magic bullet. I happen to have a magic bullet, so that's what i'm going to be using and for the actual ingredients. The first thing you're going to need is a fresh ripe avocado. The next thing you're going to need is one or two eggs. For me, i'm going to be using two eggs for this recipe. Next thing i'm going to be adding is virgin: coconut oil, i'm also going to be adding 100 pure avocado oil, then i'm going to add 100 olive oil and then, lastly, i'm going to add a fresh aloe vera leaf all right. So let's get to mixing. So the first thing we're going to be adding is our avocado. So let me tell you some of the great benefits of avocado first thing: first avocado encourages collagen production. Avocado also manages scalp inflammation and can also help with dandruff. It also helps protect your hair with antioxidants, and it also strengthens your hair and encourages hair growth. Up next is our olive oil, so some benefits of olive oil includes strengthening and adding shine to your hair. It helps decrease dandruff. It helps makes your hair soft and manageable, and it also has massive hair growth properties. Up next is our avocado oil. Just like the avocado, the avocado oil is going to help seal moisture. It is easily absorbed by the hair, and once again, it also helps with hair growth. Up next is one of my favorites coconut oil. Coconut wall, like the others, have the power to make your hair grow longer, thicker and healthier. It also has antibacterial properties. It is also very moisturizing, which means it's going to leave your hair, shiny and bouncy alright. So next we're gon na move on to our eggs. Eggs are super important, especially for hair, because they have an abundance of protein so because of that it enhances hair elasticity. It has shine, it speeds up the repair process and it also gives your hair the much needed nutrition to help it grow faster, thicker and healthier. So the last ingredient is our aloe vera. You guys know that this is my all-time favorite and you've also seen me prepare this a thousand times. So, as i prepare it, i'm just gon na list. Some of the benefits of our best friend aloe vera aloe vera, helps balance the ph of our hair. It has anti-fungal properties that alleviates dandruff, it helps repair, it helps retain water and moisture in your hair. It easily penetrates the hair and the scalp, it reduces redness and inflammation, it has strength and luxury to your hair, and it also promotes hair growth, and this is why i call this an intense protein treatment. All of the properties in these ingredients are going to tremendously help your hair, so now i'm just going to move on to blending it. So, as i said, i'm going to be using my magic bullet. This is the lid and the base of it. I know it's kind of confusing, so i'm just going to go ahead and put this on top put it in here, press it down and watch it blend. So i think we're done. This is what it looks like nice and creamy alright. So i'm just going to go ahead and transfer it once again. This is what our treatment looks like. It is nice and creamy, no clumps, no chunks, no nothing! It is all butter. This is going to make it easy not only to apply, but also to wash it out of our hair, all right family. So you guys saw a few days ago that i did so press my hair, so i did go to a natural hair salon. They washed blow dried flat, ironed and trimmed. My hair, as you can see here, my ends are super even but yes, as i've told you guys before, i don't usually keep my hair straight for a long time. I actually like my hair better when it's in its natural state, so usually when i get my hair flat ironed is probably because i want to do a length check or to get an accurate and precise trim. It'S a little wavy or curly right now. But this is a good length for me. This is where it is so this is my bra strap, and this is where it is so it's mid-back it's definitely easier to style when it looks like this, but me personally, like i said i think i was literally meant to be a natural girl. So i like my hair when it's in its natural state. So that is why we're going to be using our intense aloe vera and avocado protein treatment to prevent or minimize any damage that was done, but also to give it strength, moisture and to help it grow. Better, so what i'm going to do is i'm going to take my rat tail comb, i'm going to part it in the middle and then i'll do one side and then do the other side. Alright. So first thing: first, because my hair is so straight: i'm gon na use water. This is just water in a spray bottle. I'M just gon na use that to try to wet my hair to try to get it back into its natural state and then we'll move on to the next section. All right and it's going to take a few spray in a few pass. And then i have to wait a little bit too for the water to really kick in because, as you can see, my hair is super super straight right now. So it's going to take a little bit. So i'm going to let this side do its thing and then i'm going to move on to this side. So now i'm back to apply our treatment. So, let's see, let's do this section first, so, as you can see, we are right back to puffy, see that not completely but we're mostly back so right after a flat iron or a blow dry treatment. I always like to go back in with a deep, intensive protein treatment, just because heat is really really bad for your hair and it kind of leaves your hair, weak and brittle and ready to break. So i always like to go back in with an intense protein treatment just to help combat that. So we have our treatment here, i'm going to start with this section and then i'm going to move on to this section. So let's get started here, i'm going to start from the end and work my way up. You saw how my ends looked before right. They were nice and even but i have a few different curl patterns, so some of them curl tighter than others. My hair is already starting to tangle because of the curls all right family. So now we're going to move on to this side. So i think this one is good as well. I'M going to go ahead and twist it up before. I forget to tell you guys this: please do not wash your hair with hot water, because you are going to pick eggs out of your hair forever. You want to use cold water, or at least warm to wash your hair. This time you do not want to use hot water, so please keep that in mind, so that is the back again is back to natural, but not completely, so i'm just going to go ahead and add the treatment to it all right family. So this is what it looks like i'm gon na go ahead and put a shower cap on this, and let this sit for at least an hour and then i'll go ahead and wash it out. So i'm going to be using my famous shower cap, slash bonnet. This just helps keep everything in because it's not cloth, it actually has a plasticky material and it also helps provide heat. So i'm just going to go ahead and cover my hair, wait for an hour and then i'll go ahead and wash my hair all right. I'Ll see you guys in a bit all right family, so it's been about an hour, i'm just going to go ahead and wash my hair. You all know that the easiest way to wash your hair, especially natural hair, is to wash it in sections. So i have three sections all i'm doing here is taking my hair out one section at a time: shampooing it braiding it back up and moving on to the next section and for those of you who are going to ask i'm using the cream of nature, sulfate Free shampoo, as i mentioned before this time, you don't want to wash your hair with hot water just because the egg in our treatment is going to cook by the hot temperature of the water and that'll leave a lot of cooked eggs in your hair that you Now have to worry about taking out trust me, you don't want that problem, so just use cold water or a little bit warm water. So again, all i'm doing here is taking out my hair one section at a time shampooing it rinsing out the shampoo, adding conditioner, twisting it back up and then moving on to the next section. That way, once i'm done shampooing all three sections, i can come back. Rinse out the conditioner add my oil and braid it back up. As you can see here, it is night time and i just want to go to bed. So i'm just going to leave my hair braided, i'm going to let it air dry as i go to bed, so the oil i'm going to be using today is my aloe vera oil and i'm going to talk to you guys a lot more about this. In another video, but i'm just using the aloe vera oil to oil, my scalp and the ends of my hair and then braiding it back up. So it is the next day - and this is what my hair looks like. This is definitely how i, like my hair. Also in one of my previous video. I said that if you guys want to see me, do a twist out comment twist down below and you did a lot of you did so i have a beautiful twist out video coming your way very very soon. So if you haven't already joined the family, please go ahead and hit that subscribe button and also make sure your belt notifications are turned on. So you don't miss that video, alright family. That is it for today's video. I would also like to say happy new year. Thank you guys again so much for your love and support. I love you guys and i'll see you guys in my next one. You

Tamika Miller: Sis why people follow you so much is that they see real results from you the one who advertises such beautiful hair growth

Nina Victoria: I know you ladies get this alot but I can't express how beautiful it is that we as black women have come together and educated ourselves on our hair. You have taught us things that isn't in books, you've taught us things salons don't even know. You have taught us to love our hair which is something no one has ever done for any of us before. And I love you so much for this. Thank you ❤

Tiktok Royalty: I'm 12 years old and I love your channel I try to follow your tips and ever since my hair has grown to just above armpit length I'm so thankful to be apart of The Gono Family because my mom usually neglects (not because she is a bad mom or anything she is also a nurse and works at Bayonne hospital so she doesn't really have time and when she does she just does like every single natural hair no-no) so I decided to take things into my own hands I guess what I'm trying to say is Thank you ❤

Makeila H: Mercy is the best hair youtuber!!! She’s so honest with us and she tells us what is good for our hair and what to do. I love her channel so much. She has helped me grow my hair a lot and do what is right and what works for me.

TruuColorZ: Definitely going to try this hair mask, but just a tip try not to have wet hair when you sleep. Wet hair can cause fungus which can lead to itchy scalp as well as you can also get head colds

BELLA SIMA: My hair has grown like magic within one year thanks to you Mercy. God bless you. Keep up the good spirit

Elizabeth Aremu: Hello Mercy! I gave my hair an intense protein treatment yesterday, although I couldn't use olive oil. Thanks for being real, you're not the only one that loves to rock your natural hair and I have decided to be intentional about caring for my hair. You are such an inspiration for me

Thats Who: Avocado ..✍️ Olive Oil ..✍️ Avocado Oil .. ✍️ Coconut Oil ..✍️ Two Eggs ..✍️ Aloe Vera ..✍️ going to it out this week ❗️☺️

Starie Hearts: Absolutely love seeing women rocking their natural curls, it's the most beautiful hair ever and no one can convince me otherwise :)

Asunción Iu: OMG!! I love this protein treatment, it smelled so delicious, like baked good, I was tempted to eat it. It felt amazing on my hair. I still have it on but excited to see how my hair feels after I wash it off. Thanks and keep these coming.

Eghosa Joy Egbe: Hi Mercy, thank you so much for all of your tips it has really changed my hair for the better. I do need to know how often we should use this intense protein treatment just so that I don't over do it. Thank you ❤️

Ada: My mom has been following your channel and she did the treatment for me. After just one treatment, I am seeing results I haven't seen since I was a kid. Thanks so much. It is working.

Tenisha B: I created the protein treatment and I must say instantly as I applied it I can feel and see the difference in my scalp and curls.

Maya evani: She's making my hair growing faster, thank you

Debbie Callender-O'Neill: Wow! That's a really powerful, intense treatment! Loving my natural hair! Would NOT be returning to any weave/braids ever againLove the tip with sieving the aloe vera - top tip xx

abaccous: Your hair is so beautiful! I’ve been trying the aloe Vera treatment for the last month and I see a BIG difference in my texture. I will be trying this treatment this weekend!!! I can’t wait

Elon Reese: Mercy, your hair is beautiful! Also, you do a great job explaining what you’re doing in detail. I have a question. How long did it take for your hair to get to it’s current length, after your last big chop?

earthlana: I didn't even know anybody else used this..ive been using this for a while. I honestly have much better results with homemade items than store bought. I will say that steeping seaweed and using that water to liquidy the mix. It will INSTANTLY strengthen your hair, you'll be able to feel it

Dinah Turner (Orchardshadow): I made this hair mask myself after watching the video, but I had to double the batch. For me and my mom. I love it.

Nk886 Cynthia: I really wish my hair could grow like this. Sooo gorgeous! Never had long hair right from birth so...

Shamone Cooper: Mercy your hair is so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your natural hair videos I always look forward to them. I did the 6 month no heat challenge and hair has grown so much, so for 2021 I will continue the no heat using your methods and Hopefully my hair will be a mid back like your hair.

Shaquita Woodson: I would love to try this but my hair is protein sensitive. Do you have anything else that you suggest for hair growth and thickness?

Shantastic Life: Omg your curly hair style in the thumbnail is gorgeous!! I started a journey to healthy waist length hair a few months ago, your channel is inspiring

monique jacobs: Hey mercy! I’m currently doing this treatment but I’m stuck on what measurements you use with the two oils, weather it’s 1 or 2 tbl spoons? Xx

Rapunzel 40: Hello; my daughter showed me this video. I am of Puerto Rican descendant and growing up my mom put mayonnaise and eggs on our hair. Currently my hair is 4 1/2 feet long, but thin. I am so happy with you video that I will try the treatment. My daughter is going to try the Áloe Vera treatment on her son and herself. Awesome job and very detailed.

Chika Imo: You see this remedy here, it's the bomb! I tried it just now and guess what, my hair was very soft and sweet while washing off, with little breakage. I needed no hair conditioner at all. By the way I used all aside mayo. I will keep to this and watch my hair grow like yours. Thanks for sharing sis, you rock

Sweetie Pie: Hi Mercy, I’m learning so much from you! How often can you use this treatment? I’m relaxed by the way, thanks in advance.

Queen Melanin: Question. My hair is heat damaged. I think. I just straightened it like a week ago and I'm considering to dye it. Can I do a treatment (rice water, avocado, mayonnaise, aloe Vera and casteroil) and then proceed with the dye like a day after?

Vanessa Phillips: Hey, I’m a newbie! I do recognize on your channel that you have a lot of products you use for hair growth, which one do you recommend to use if you want your hair to grow long in about six months? Hope you do see this. Thank you!

Teanna’s Channel: I LOVE how everything is organic

priscilla mitchell: Hey I made the deep conditioner with avocado and had plenty left over due to I have a short cut so can I storage the remaining in the refrigerator. How long can it stay in the refrigerator before using it...Thanks I love your video

Rose Samuelson: Anybody else agrees with me how often mercy says “ okay first things first “ please drop me some likes too and make my day please. love you girl and you do great job Mercy

Gigg13s Hogan: Love the your natural hair videos and just want to say congratulations on 1M subbies! Also, I noticed that your towel kept shifting/falling so I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but a clip or hair apron would be very beneficial for you. I love mine and makes moisturizing or other hair care solutions not be as messy.

Teresa Casimiro: Hi mercy, Thank you so much for the video cuz I've actually chopped my hair in 2019 and did this pudding every 4 weeks and in between IL do the hot oil ( 2 to 2 weeks,). My hair has grown soo much but I need your advice. My hair is full and too thick and every 6 months I go for flat iron and luckly don't break . So I Wanted to ask you if I can use this treatment on your video every two weeks? And is it necessary to shampoo?

Bakeryluv: Your hair is so beautiful ! I’ve used this same protein mask and I love it !

Michelle: unity and knowledge are all we need, I'm loving all the black ladies show off their natural long hair. Blessings to all

Stacey Hall: Thank you for inspiring me to be natural. I’m going to start the process soon

Kessie Watson: Hello I’m starting my hair growth journey I have a set goal for my 4c hair I’ve seen your videos and love them! I was just wondering how often should we apple this to our hair?

Roselomon TV: I'm definitely going to try this after my delivery right now I'm saving energy for our big push (birth) You really did pamper your hair with that mixture.

Chelle Mays: I love this video!! I’m gonna do this today. How often do you apply the treatment?

L. Dozier: I love my kinky hair too. I feel unpretty when its flat on my head with no texture and flat ironed. I just recently had my hair straight for 8 weeks it lasted. I felt better when I pinned curled it and saw the hair bounce on my head again. I just love my textures hair but it was nice to not have to manipulate it for 7-8 weeks. I also notice my hubby was alllll ova me when I step out the room with my mushroom fro again

Shamika Bonds: @mercy how long can the hair butter be stored? Also im trying to make the aloe vera leave in can you link the video for it?

Elfredya McGowan: Hi Merci, I am a woman over 50 and I love your videos but there's something I am confused about I am trying to do a DIY protein treatment and I'm not sure whether to use rice for protein treatment as a mask or to do the avocado egg and aloe vera, can you share with me which one you prefer for your hair and why? Thank you, and looking forward to hearing from you.

k j: I really liked the fact that there wasn't hardly any hair in the comb when I combed my hair out after i shampooed the mask out. I wish i would have known about this when I was transitioning my hair from relaxed to natural. I believe this mask could have helped me to avoid some of the breakage that my hair experienced.

Regina Y. Favors: Wow freaking wow! Beautiful. Wearing the hair in the natural state feels more convenient. I do a quick blow dry and flat iron for length check and cut the ends when needed. I've been following your recipes for a while now. Beautiful hair.

Jeanelle Nixon: Hi! Thank you for all the healthy hair tips! Quick question…Can I sit under the dryer or steamer with the mask instead of letting it sit for a hour?

Lůna Paloma: I'm gonna make this right now. My hair needs it.

Ericka J Stevens: Thank you for this great deep conditioning treatment. Similar to the cholesterol conditioner in the beauty supply store but better. I'm going to try it this weekend. ❤

April: Mercy I've been making a similar conditioner myself but instead of using the whole egg I just use the yolk and that way you still get the protein but without the cooked egg which is what the white of the egg does. Just saying! Hope this helps

Kathleen Harris: You are gorgeous and your hair is beautiful! Great ingredients for the recipe. Also, thank you for being a nurse especially now.

DivineFavor2021: How often do you do this intense protein treatment? Like twice a month or once a month?

Gigi Sun: Hi Mercy, I will be using this treatment on my next wash day. I love love your videos. I'm looking forward to the hair growth oil video you mentioned coming soon. Take care and God Bless you and your family

Charles O'neil: Do you rise it then shampoo, or so you shampoo with the treatment in? After shampoo, do you put another conditioner before you rinse again then oil up, or shampoo, rinse and oil? Can you save what you don’t use of the treatment and use for later? Also after you strain the aloe, what do you do with the excess? Throw it out or repurpose?

Faith Ukwuomah: Hmm, I remember doing a mixture like this recently, using avocados; however, I didn't have the coconut oil, so I used rapeseed and olive oil, and even added red onions to it. I washed my hair with hot water before, but now I'm definitely going to try washing it with lukewarm water due to my high sensitivity to cold temperature. I'm definitely adding the egg to my already made mix to it with the aloe vera gel. Thank you so much for sharing this. And Happy New Year ma

Fatu Daniel: Girl you know I live for these natural hair videos, I love watching them, I'm like a natural hair Vampire, I've beeeeen craving for another natural hair video love love love your hair.

KiHB's natural World: Loving your hair length Mercy. The retention is amazing. Well done and Happy New year

R M: Girl well done I will definitely make one for my daughter’s hair. Thank you for sharing !

Anna J: No, just cold water. Don’t even try warm water, as the egg will still cook as if it was hot water.& she was right, you don’t want that to worry about.

Amaya Cordova: Hi! I’m new here. How often do you use this on your hair?

Sabrina B: This recipe works. I have tried it and my hair has been growing so much. I am a big fan of avocado and aloe.

priscilla carter: Natural hair complements natural beauty, Mercy, thank you for keeping women with natural hair informed about taking care of the natural beauty ( Our Hair )

jenine short: Can you use this treatment after taking out braids and for fine hair?

Haidi G: How often do you recommend that we use this treatment ? Once weekly or by-weekly

I followed your recipe but also added a banana and some other oils. I put 3 plastic shower caps on my hair along with a bonnet I bought just for the treatment. I let it sit on my hair for over an hour. Did exactly as you said with washing it out with cool water. Immediately I could feel the difference. Shampoo and conditioned my hair. My hair has never been so easy to manage. My hair normally sheds like crazy and it didn't much this time. Wish I had found your channel sooner. You have blessed me in so many ways. Also you are so beautiful just gorgeous and your hair is beautiful. Thank you Mercy Many Blessings❤

Gina Suber: Hello I want to try this, I have alopecia and I have cut my hair off it’s really short so my question is how long will this avocado treatment keep and should it be refrigerated because this will be way way to much for one use thank you waiting to hear from you before I make the avocado treatment ? BTW your hair is beautiful!!
