Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful yes, my hair is brown. Yes, i'm wearing two jean shirts at once. How are you today so you guys already know i love rollers they're so easy to use. They give you the best most incredible blown out hair. Look. It makes you look sexy, put together, ready to take on any task in life. I'Ve been seeing these babies all over tick-tock. It seems like everybody's trying out hot rollers for the first time, and they are fascinated by it. I get how you feel the first time. I did it, i was like it's so easy did. I say it's easy because it's easy, but i love that you guys are finally finding out how magnificent hot rollers really are. So today, i'm going to show you how to set your hair, it's going to be chic, it's going to be cute, it's going to be bouncy and it's going to be volumous. Obviously it's me i'll. Also, let you in on some of my professional secrets to getting the most out of your hot rollers. So these are the rulers i'll be using today. I'Ve never used these ones before they are all quite comparable to one another. There'S no type of rollers that i've been like shook about like i've been like. Oh my god, i can only use these rollers, so we're gon na try these out today because they are so inexpensive. I don't know how much they are. Let me look up. They are indeed 29 and you get a lot of rollers in here huh this seems fun and if i like them, you will find out and they will be linked below for you client. Where are you come on in? Oh wow? Did you just get some fresh color done, but your hair kind of looks dry and up um we're gon na make it look a lot better today, let me ask you a question: do you know what the first step to getting a really good roller set is What is the answer incorrect when it comes to a good roller set? You got to build a good foundation. That'S with any hairstyling a good foundation is necessary. We can't be over here with dry as hell like this. It looks bad. Let me grab some product, don't be scared, i'm using three things today: okay, don't sue me! I'M gon na use three, i'm a product junkie! I love it. It makes hair feel so good. Okay, we're gon na go in with some forcefield heat shield protects your hair up to 500 degrees, fahrenheit speeds up the drying time. It'S going to make your hair look so shiny and healthy and beautiful we're going in with some electric rain on those ends before we blow dry. That way, her ends are smooth hydrated. They are silky soft, oh, my god. This makes your hair, so soft and all your flyaways will be tamed great, obviously done and then at the end, we're gon na go in with some viper smoothing oil, because there's nothing better than at the end of a styling moment. Putting some oil in there to give you a lot of shine, hydration and essential nutrients. Okay, so your hair should be damp at this point. Yes, my model today is a little bit dry, but that's because she was sitting drying when i wasn't filming so now. I'M filming and her hair is a little bit more dry, but that's okay, so your hair could be more wet than this or first spraying and force field. I can't stress enough how important product is. You'Re not gon na get a great look unless you put the product in and electric rain, i'm putting about that much in all over her ends because they're so dry, i did oh hello, hi. Okay, girl get back up there. Okay, great the next step to doing a beautiful roller set is not even to do the rollers. Okay, not yet all right. You need to do a decently nice blowout if your hair is frizzy or wavy or whatever i'm gon na recommend you blow it out. There'S a couple of different things you can do now. This doesn't need to be difficult. You don't need to make it difficult and you can do it really fast. You can either do this type of moment. With your hand, you see how that's smoothing it out, i'm putting tension on the hair with my hand and i'm blow drying downwards, and that's gon na get rid of all that frizz and all that wave at the top of her hair and make it nice and Smooth smooth enough to put rollers in i'm gon na use a round brush just because i want it extra smooth, but you do not have to use a round brush at least just blow dry it. You can also use like one of those uh conair things or like a uh uh yeah. This is my jaw, but i don't know anything all right, so i'm gon na do that right. Now, i'm gon na do a quick rough rough rough blow dry boom baby. Her hair is blow dried she's. Looking fierce, i swear to god, i did not spend more than five minutes blow drying her hair. It only looks this good because of the hair products that put into it. Also, though um her hair was literally dark brown today and i threw some like balayage in there and didn't tone her hair, and this is the first time i'm seeing it dry and i'm like i'm so good at highlighting hair like what anyways. So now that we have the hair dry, we're gon na talk about one other thing before we actually start putting the rollers in. I swear i'm gon na get to the rollers. Okay, just wait a second god haircut matters a lot when it comes to roller sets. Okay, your haircut's gon na make a huge difference. My girl right here she also got a haircut before today's video, and that is because fuller sets just do not look as good on people who have one length, hair um. She has layers in her hair. They are not super short, but her layers kind of end right there. She has something in there. You know i gave her some texture a face framing moment here. You'Ll see more of it later when she has kind of curls in her hair, but she has a great haircut and she has great color and that is going to really help emphasize the shape that is given to her hair by these hot rulers. And now, let's get to it, okay take a deep breath with me. This is your first time we're gon na do this together and it's gon na be great. You know sometimes we're like why don't you work on real people? I don't want to deal with real people. I deal with real people too much, i'm already a lot for myself to handle, never mind another person here, like it's just too much all around, so we're going to take our first section, basically like at the arch of your eyebrow back okay, we're gon na. Do that on both sides, we did it. We took hair from the arch of the eyebrow on both sides and then to back here where your head rounds off, and i just kind of made it like a rectangle moment. It'D be great: if you had a clip, if not, you can use an elastic okay, i'm not picky! I'M gon na take the rest of this hair and i'm just gon na put it into a bun. We can now let this hair back down. I like to start off with the hair up here, because that allows the rollers to sit in this spot the longest, and this is the most important. This is what everybody's gon na see when your hair is all finished, and also it's the first thing you're going to see so make it look good. Also, wherever you start on the head, usually you have more patience. That'S how i like to think about it. I like to start on the top and if i don't start on the top, i get lazy and i don't want to do the top anymore. I am what they call a lazy hair stylist, i'm okay with that. So i'm taking my first section we're gon na. Probably separate this section into three, so the first section is about two fingers wide great, we'll make sure that's all brushed out and we shall grab our rollers that are very hot right now, great, we'll open it. Okay, rocky start, but we're good miss. Can you go down a little bit? I see a lot of people doing this first section incorrectly. So what i'm gon na do is i'm not going to roll the hair back away from the face, i'm rolling it forward towards the face. Okay, that will give you more volume at the top ow i'm wrapping. Those ends around. That is super important and i'm slowly bringing it in this might not look perfect. That is okay, one down baby. Does it look perfect? No! Is it good? It'S fine! I'M gon na leave it like that. I'M wrapping it forward because when you blow dry, your hair forward actually with a round brush you're gon na get that perfect, like volume at the top with that beautiful body towards the ends in the front of your head. Okay, that's a great tip right. There write that one down and the next section is going in the opposite direction. That'S what gives you a lot of body and a lot of volume for this next section. We'Re gon na go in the same direction because we want volume at the crown, and this will give us maximum volume. I'M not gon na lie, i'm burning myself a lot. Ah, oh my god. This is like actually painful like what the is going on. Am i not using these right what's going on here? Those are our two sections at the top complete forward back back, i'm taking my next section is just going to be right behind the ear like that, and we are going to separate this into two like. So it's always a good idea to work from the bottom up. You don't want to be putting the top one in and then trying to stick one other one underneath it it's just a pain in the end, i promise i did it too many times in my life. I'M never doing it again. We'Re gon na try and put a little baby one in here. This one is going under and we're gon na take our larger roller, and this one will also go under we're making a lot of progress here. This is super easy super fun super simple, because i love rollers, and so should you oh get naked over here. Huh bam we're in the back now we're splitting this back section into two horizontally: bam: boom, bang we're taking our larger size roller and now this will be a little bit different, we're taking our section out from the head and we're rolling it towards the face. Okay, like that, it's okay, if someone falls out like that, it's really cool, it's really fine and the next one, the exact same way don't get hard on yourself. If this doesn't come out good or it's not easy for you, the first time, it's not supposed to be easy, the first time, but you will get the hang of it really easily. This is one of the easier things to do with hair, but it can still be complicated for some people don't be hard on yourself, babe you're, fine! You can do it. I believe in you and you're gorgeous and beautiful, look at yourself in the mirror someday and our next section is going in the opposite direction. So we did that one forward we're doing this one back now, because she's a mannequin, her hair, is definitely splitting into two up here: um, because she doesn't have a real scalp so ignore that we have 11 rollers in the head and you don't need to use That many and it can be really quick. Okay, they don't need to look perfect. They can be slipping out of the sides a little bit as long as you get the majority of it in the roller you'll be fine. So, let's review we did the top. We put this one forward, we did these two back. We did these both under on both sides boom boom, and then we did four in the back. We did one going this way and one going forward we're gon na. Let this sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. Honestly, you don't need to let it sit for like that long. I get a little lazy, sometimes and take them out early, but it's up to you the longer you let them sit, usually the more they will stain. Your hair, but 15 minutes is just fine, so i'll see you in 15 minutes when we take these out and she's cooked. Let'S start moving start from the bottom and work your way up as you unravel twist the hair please gorgeous again, let's drop it out unravel. I have to say this is the most exciting part of all. It makes me so happy now, if you look like you, are a pageant girl at this point. You have done it correctly. It will all come together. I promise beautiful. Let'S do the really really really really fun part besides taking the rollers out, that's also really fun. I will not say it's not because it is really really stress, relieving and amazing. It makes me so happy we're gon na put a little more viper in our hand, and we are going to run our hands through this beautiful masterpiece, we're going to loosen up some of those curls. Oh my god stop. When i tell you, you will get some major volume, you better, not be scared of it. If you can't handle volume, don't do this, i love the look, but it could be so much better. I have to take a natural bristle brush and actually go in there and break up those curls. I don't like it like when it looks all stringy and stuff like i want my hair to look fluffy that looks fluffy i mean if she had shoulders. You'D be able to see it better but like that is what i want, so i always have to brush the hair out. If you want this to last, don't brush it out way too many times. You just want to get that fluff back in the hair. You see how we just did that now. Her look is complete. Oh my god. The way this brings out her color, i can't even be in the same room as her. You are so pretty what the hell! Oh! Look it from the side. Oh darling. I did you good see how the hair is all like uniform, but it's not clumping together. That'S because we did some of that hair going in the opposite direction and when you do that the hair doesn't tend to like clump in huge chunks together, and you get a lot of variety with the wave. It looks amazing, i'm obsessed, of course, a little bit of hair spray, and now she is ready for whatever life brings at her. I'Ve been playing with it a lot and her hair's starting to fall out. Okay update, i just brushed your hair out and i like love this look. I basically took all of the curls i just went through with my brush and just took a lot of those curls out the great thing about doing a roller set. Is you can really just morph the hair into like whatever you want once you're done, so i'm just gon na take my hands and i'm just gon na morph it into a wave. You see that like just crafting it and it just kind of falls where it wants to and for some reason it always just looks perfect. I'M gon na take this piece and i'm just gon na like morph it into a wave because it already has that structure inside it'll just do whatever you want it to do. Oh my god, like look at that body that we have without having too much curl. Now again, for this side like i can literally mess it all up and then brush it really quick and just let it fall, and then we have this perfect other look. It just is the gift that keeps giving the more the curl falls out. You just get more and more looks as the day goes on and your curls start to come out. Naturally, i just think it's great to just brush it and see what happens you know like. You can also give yourself a nice side part. It'S always sexy. To do a little side part moment, these mannequins do not like to stay on the side, but i will try and there we go. We have this more glamorous side part moment. It is a little bit difficult doing the mannequin, but you see what i mean. It is spicy, it is hot, like even if you're more of the girl, who has that relaxed cool girl, vibe and doesn't like their hair. Look perfect. Like honestly, this is a vibe like just having it even a little bit tangled like that, is sexy, like you. Don'T need to have it looking perfect. I think it even looks good if it's a little ratty. Am i going crazy right now? Am i crazy yeah, like oh, my god, this cover your face in there look at this hair, though i really wanted to show you guys that if you do one roller set real quick, you can get all different kinds of looks in one hot rollers are just A great way to put that base structure in your hair to create any look. You can get nice soft waves, you can get big bouncy curls or you can get really soft blowouts depending on how much you brush it and how much you rake your hands through it, and this is why i love hot rollers. So much there's nothing else out there that gives you that perfect blowout look with half the effort. I honestly would prefer to do this than a blowout, because it does not take as much time or arm energy in order to accomplish something like this. Well, thank you to my model for today, she's currently passing out she's a little tired and she's over it. Okay, cool we'll! Take you off set ma'am! Thank you. You can sign your waiver in the back room. Yes, you need to sign a wave. I don't care if you're a mannequin. I don't think that makes you different. It makes you cooler than me wow. That made me happy. I hope you guys learned how to use your hot rollers correctly um and if you never use them before, please give it a shot. It'S so fun to do. I don't know it just makes you feel so classy and sexy and gorgeous, and you get so many different looks out of it. So it's amazing and uh tik tok. Thank you for making this such a thing again, i'm forever grateful. I can't wait to see all the girls there beautiful, voluminous blowouts walking the streets. It'S very satisfying to see today's instagram shout out goes to rawan and she says she has way too much hair and she wants to know what to do with it. It'S virgin hair and she hasn't cut it in five years. All right, first of all, get a haircut. Okay get some layers in there. I want to see those curls even more voluminous like it would look so good and also i would love to see dimension in your hair. I love your natural color, it's beautiful, but having some lighter pieces going through, there will help accentuate those curls and make everything look so full and so alive. So try that out and i would love to see it if you end up doing it. Good luck make sure you guys check out my hair care and my hair color line and me on all different social media platforms. Here are all my handles if you'd like to shop anything mentioned in today's video it'll all be linked below for you. That is all for today guys. Thank you so much for watching, don't forget to live your extra life and i'll see you next time. Bye!

Glitterlips89: I wish Brad would show us how to do this with a wig on himself, so we can see how to do it on ourselves.

Joan Cox: I don’t want to work on real people,” I’m already a lot for myself to handle” You are so much fun Brad. Love the hair❤️

shesaidwhat.: I love Brad’s “we been knew” attitude about us discovering hot rollers

Am Mercedes: Just came here to say for people with curly hair that your hair doesn't need to be straightened for this to work! All you need to do is detangle to the point where you can run your fingers through when dry, then keep enough tension on the hair when rolling it that it wraps smoothly around the roller. I sometimes run my finger over the roller to smooth it down as I roll. You'll definitely need to use more sections than someone with straight hair so you can get those pieces smooth around the roller so be prepared for that!

Angela Dyke: I am adoring the brown hair! Of course, you can rock literally any color or style! Also, I’m definitely gonna buy n try these asap!! Xoxo xoxo

Chelsea Elizabeth Ann Olsen: When brad is feeling himself about the highlights F’in sent me!! Literally started screaming!! Amazing! Much love!

yi chen: Oh wow roller coasters on hairspray wow !!’nn

Pili MF: This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have the same set and it was collecting dust since I knew I just didn’t have the right technique. Thank you.

Kat Love: I'm so old, I used to have hot rollers as a kid. Now they're back and all these young people are like OH EM GEEE using them the first time. They work that well. Hot rollers are amazing. Finally getting recognized again. I love it.

Amanda McAnally: Who else wants to see Brad do a real person's hair?

Arturo Insaurralde: That look, plus this new hair of yours and that humble beard makes me wanting to do marriage things with you.

genderbenderlexa: I love hot rollers !! They last for days and my hair had less damage !! Way better than curling irons .

BuckBucktheWookie33: Love the brown hair and the Canadian tuxedo!

Snowballover: 13:50 me when I wake up

wrinkles & sprinkles: We used hot rollers daily back in the 70’s! We put the rollers in then put on your makeup; easy peasy! As a matter of fact, hair( hello…middle part & curtain bangs) and fashion from the 70’s are back in style.

Waterflame: Brad: "Do you know what the first step to getting a really good roller set is?" Me: "A good foundation!" Brad: "Incorrect!" Me: "What?!" Brad: "When it comes to a roller set, you've got to build a good foundation." Me: "It's like you don't even listen to me..."

Emily Siegert: Brad saying that he can't deal with other people some days because he already has to deal with his own self and that's a lot is just HUGE MOOD OKAY.

Madi D: I have hair down to my waist so any curls from heat tend to just fall out in a couple hours from the weight. Hot rollers do last longer than an iron, but I still preffer to use foam rollers on damp hair. I can do it at night and then wake up with very curly hair. I can also walk around with a bunch of foam rollers under a scarf and feel like a midcentury housewife.

Username: These have been back in fashion in the U.K. for quite a while. There was even somewhat of a trend about 6/7 yrs ago to wear them to the shop or on school run. And if your from Liverpool it would accompanied with a full face of make, pyjamas and fluffy slippers. That was an odd era lol

Taylor Cook: I’ve just never understood how anyone gets these in their hair in a reasonable amount of time. Takes me 80 years and 2nd degree burns for pretty curls that don’t last very long

Rachael Lynn D: Love the brown hair Brad ! Keep it hon !

Kendra Tucker: Can you please tell me where I could get that manikin...I love it!

Presoaking Mint 🍃: Buying hot rollers today. Thanks!

Jessica Bresler: Hey #BradMondo how would a girl do Penelope Garcia’s hair style from Criminal Minds season 5 episode 6? It’s this cute retro office updo that I love ❤️

Emilia: Your should do a world tour I am shure there are people all over the world, that would love to get styled by you or get a cut

RM Dewberry: Everything old is new again. Even hot rollers.

S D: Miss mannequin looking like a baddie ✨

Ra: I just bought dyson airwrap now I’m seeing these!!!!

Antiques Restoration: Dark hair, lots of denim, and using hot rollers. Literally me in the mid-70s.

Kat Wiens: Trying to find a full body look for my wedding, and Brad Mondo delivered!!! Love it

K MV: I haven't heard the phrase "set your hair" in forever! :-D At 57, I have so many hot roller stories. Some good, some tangled, burned bad. Glad they are improved and back! I love you, Brad.

Princess Fiona: My curls don’t last with hot rollers although I do prefer them over any other styling tools. It’s easy to put in and I don’t have to stand and curl and wait

LoompaNooNaPlayz: What is product what product do I have to use? Why do you use product?

hotpink000: I wanna use hot rollers but im super sensitive with heat. Is there any way around it

Allie Powell: Before I chopped all of my hair off to donate, I used to put hot rollers in all the time. When I told my friends they were like, hot rollers? Like old people use? I always thought it was weird they thought hot rollers were ancient technology. I have really stubborn stick straight hair so I’d wrap my hair up in flexi rods when I slept and then when I got up I’d put them in hot rollers to loosen the curls, the curls would fall out in a few hours if I didn’t. Also found out mousse is the secret to good hair, another old lady product but it made my curls hold.

Грация: the doll:

Heidi Scouten: For my prom I used those exact ones and it turned out so pretty xo

Angi: From a 50 yr old that got a new hotroller set every other Christmas in my teens, whether I needed it or not ( it would actually take 2 1/2 sets to roll my hair due to length and thickness) I can attest that you can get some amazing styles from them.

Andrea Alcañiz: I have very thin hair and I spend 80$ in a babyliss heat rollers and I've tried every single tutorials and my waves don't last longer. It is so frustating

Carrie Lankford: I have had hot roller sitting under my bathroom sink for about 20 years. So yea I am pretty used to using them. I feel pretty good about it.

viviana ♡: We love a brunette Brad. A King that can rock any look. ❤

Hannah Miller: Love the brown hair!

Timea Kapitany: Who else did hear out that Bard had a little maybe bad time and did that video to us just to escape from a real world for a moment and don't give a damn to problems. I just in love with that attitude!

Rebeca de Niet: Can you please come over and do my hair like hers??!?

Darlene Vega: I would looooove that hair color on me!!! Do my hair Brad Mondo!!!

CrazyJake: i love how my hair just naturaly look like that when they are long XD no rollers needed just letting them naturaly dry and brush only dry and here we go i'm all ready to go ^^' but yeah they're short now sooo this kind of waves on short hair is not really nice ^^' XD

Amanda: I've been using them for 20 years. Conair ones work really great and reheat quickly when you need to use more than what's in the thing. Brad is a pro at this, but but but! You can still get a great look with them without all the pro sectioning and blow drying first. Hot rollers are for when I want a lazy day and not blow dry cause mine smooth my hair out. These are also great for when you want a fancy pony. The day I met Anne Rice , I used them and I'll never get a better compliment than her telling me my hair was beautiful. ❤❤

Moonlight SPIRIT: Bradddddddd love your hairrrrrrrrr

Heather Gustafson: Blow drying totally not necessary, sorry your wrong on that one! Products, roll and dry……………..DONE

Petra: Looking fantastic in the Canadian Tuxedo Love you and your beautiful spirit..

Jocelyn Sanchez: Brad with brown hair just hits diffffferent

SunshineSav: I love ya brad, your the reason I’m going to cosmetology school!!! Keep doing what you do!!

Janette in the garden: Omg. Brad with brown hair

Kira Calabrese: I love the hair looking great Brad like always wish I had the money to get more products from you. You're products work wonders I would love you use your hair dye red n purple but don't have the money to do it I can't wait till I get some money to get the colors from you because all the other products I got from you are the greatest and been helping my hair. I have old school rollers for hair rollers. I'll be dying my hair on my bday the 31st of Jan wish I could send it to you. Your the greatest Brad younhave been teaching me a lot since I started watching your YouTube channel

blackcat: His " quick" 5min blow dry is all I would ever want !!! omg jealous

Farniya: That dark hair brings out your eyes so beautiful

Claire Woerner: I remember back in the early 2000’s I had one of those cute little shoulder length flippy hairstyles with curtain bangs that were super popular then. I was in 7th grade and was having a disaster of a hair day. One side was flipping out, the other in, and a curling iron wasn’t cutting it. My mom said “I know how to fix that”, pulled out her hot rollers from the 80’s and put them all over my head. She had me sit there for like 15 minutes, took the rollers out, brushed it out, spritzed it with hairspray, and it was incredible! It turned out fantastic! (Btw, this was during the “flip out” era of hair curling. I look back on it now and think it makes everyone look like Whos from The Grinch.)

Adrien Langdon: I love brown haired BRAD!!!

Annika Lokhorst: Hi Brad, Here's a viewer from the Netherlands. I would super like to order your stuff online (and also maybe merchandise) but to the Netherlands you don't ship yet. Could you maybe check if this would ever be possible? Your products seem so nice! Lots of love, Annika

Kristina Savic: Blonde looks better on you Brad! ‍♂️

RiaXandra: brad! love you but when u tell us product recommendations can u tell us which are good options that are not from your brand. i am just being concerned of people in eu who can not afford. Sadly not everyone are able to buy American products from overseas

Caitlyn Landry: Can you show how to use them in shorter hair (if that’s even a thing)?

Simply Breana: Questions... Are hot rollers damaging to hair? As a curly girl, could I do this without blow drying or straightening my hair? And what happens if you use hairspray before you brush it out?

ckilbarger01: Took the hot rollers to St Vincent de Paul a couple months ago and now they're a thing.... Lol Hope someone has beautifully styled hair with them (not that heat works great on my hard-to-style hair anyways)

Dee Emm: I'm a bigger fan of steam rollers. Easier on the hair, maybe not as fast, but still sexy AF.

Monique Damphousse: When I was a young working girl in the late 1960's and throughout the 1970's, I used to hot roller my hair every morning to set it for work, and I'd leave the rollers in while I made breakfast and sat down to eat it with a cup of coffee. It's fast to do and the curl lasts all day. I loved my hot rollers, which now belong to my daughter ☺ I have to have my hair short now because of my age, arthritis, etc. but I used to have hair down to my waist and the hot rollers worked magic on it.

Jennifer Neal: I used to put hot rollers in my hair all the time in the 90's as a teenager. It's so easy and they make beautiful curls! Btw..you don't have to straighten your hair first lol. Just comb or brush out then roll ;)

Derrick: I've been doing hair for 10 years now and whenever someone loves my blowout, I suggest hot rollers as the easiest way to get the same look at home and they always would say "roller? like my grandma had those...." Glad to see the world realizing!

Autumn Schultz: I impulsively went out a bought a set of hot rollers so I can get better at styling my hair. I can’t tell you how happy I am that this video popped up on my suggested videos to watch! ❤️

T Doyle: in 2006 when I eloped I paid $25.99 for hot rollers at target, My hair looked amazing during our wedding.I still have them and they have always come through despite the metal clasps . I have a lot of super fine hair and I think it's the best hair type to use this on. Thanks for the tutorial because I never even considered rolling the front part backwards

Samantha Spillman: I've been using hot rollers since HS. They are great!. Put them in, brush my teeth, get dressed do my makeup, take them out, do my hair. Absolute time savers no question

Sailor Arwen: I think it’s so funny hair stylists never stop running their finger through your hair. You’re just chit chatting, getting ready for the change and those hands never stop combing through

savanna jaqueth: I literally love your videos! we hope that you’re okay. you’re doing amazing and we’re so incredibly proud of you. you’re so strong. we love you. we’re always here for you <3

Karen Ward: Brad, love the brown hair. Yes, I confess. I used hot rollers in the late 1980’s early 90’s. Don’t judge. It was a fabulous hair look and we embraced it big time.

Liberty Bell: Great tutorial, Brad! You crack me up! I used hot rollers in the 80's! Glad that they are making a comeback! ❤️

Ari Bro: This is going to save my hair! I cannot stand taking an hour to do just one side of my head with a curling iron. Pop these in and leave them for a whole Brad Mondo video, then take them out. Boom. Perfection!

Tish Richmond: OMG I LOVE YOU I’m an old hairdresser from the 80’s and your videos make my day. The roller set was the icing on the cake! The classic roller set with a modern twist. I’ve learned so much! THANK YOU BRAD

morrisal: The fact that Brad looks authentic with EACH&EVERY haircolor he slaps on his head indicates that he has a stable-enough personality to carry out anything. 30seconds in and you don't even double-take, you just go along with him and his new look. He was born to being on the screen. I've said this before and I say it again: he stands out. He's got so much more than just being a "youtuber" in him. His professionality, enthusiasm and sass make an absolute admirable concoction. Stay grounded, Brad; that's where your success lies.

Jasmine Peet: I just come here for the self confidence boosters. I love and appreciate you Brad!❤️

Jennifer Castillo: OMG - I LOVE hot rollers. I 'inherited' my mom's old set & if I have a special thing, I'll use those. Wash my hair, use a little mousse (my hair won't curl without it) and go to town. Because my hair is so stick-straight, I let them cool completely while doing other things. Take them out, tousle them and that's it! Bonus - with the mousse, the bounce lasts for about 48 hours.

anon: I'm Dominican, and we always use hot rollers (even when we're straightening our hair). We use hot rollers, THEN we blow-dry. We might even use a tiny quick pass of a flat iron (if you want that extra slick look).

DF Nac: YES!!! I bought hot rollers early on in college and they’ve somehow avoided being thrown away throughout the years! I needed this to finally learn how to use them!!

it is i: it makes me happy to see brad genuinely getting serotonin from doing hair :)

Lisa Hurst: LMAO…. Did this in the 70’s and still rocking’ it at 60 when the spirit moves me! Loved this Brad! The advise on which ways to go where was super helpful! Love watching your channel!

Spantzz69: i’ve had these rollers for about two years now, and i’m happy you uploaded this so i can see how i can better use them! i love them, and highly recommend to anybody considering them!

MichelePearl: This was super helpful for setting heat friendly wigs. Thank you for fabulous content.

bebe rivera: This was EVERYTHING! @Bradmondo please do more videos like this bc I'm loving you're teaching style and skill!

W Oin: I have a little pink travel set of Conair hot rollers and I’ve been using them for more than 10 years! They heat up quickly and don’t get too hot to burn my skin, and they’re super compact when I’m taking a carry-on somewhere. I love how versatile hot rollers are — I can use them just to smooth my hair out and get a little flip at the ends, do a vavavoom big voluminous ‘do, or get really defined and tight curls for an updo or a vintage look.

Rebecca: My son was wearing two collared, button down shirts the other day & I knew we were inching close to a fashion breakthrough. This is it, Brad. Two Jean Jackets. Yaaaaassss

Elizabeth Van Orden: I've always rolled the front section back, thanks for the new tip! I've used hot rollers since elementary school and LOVE them. Nothing better than day 2 roller hair with a bunch of dry shampoo.

Breanna Reed: I love how passionate you are about hair! It brings me joy to watch these videos when you are so excited and positive!

LeaJoyFriedel: Hey Brad, wanted to let you know that because of your videos I didn’t Color my own hair during the first corona wave - THANK YOU SO MUCH! Second: please enable shipping to Europe! I will buy the whole freaking shop! Love you

Laly Vinan: I felt that, I thought I was crazy and probably looked like I’m ruining hours of work but I ALWAYS run a brush through my curls cause I love that smooth look .

mahun: Brad: Do you know the first step to getting af really good rollerset is? Me: *thinking* hmm to prepare the hair? build a foundation? Brad: INCORRECT! When it comes to a good rollerset you gotta build a good foundation! Me: oh okay

SJT: I've used these exact rollers for years. Swear by them! I do my rollers and then whilst it's in my hair, I do my makeup I do usually use a lot more rollers however as my hair is really thick, but it's about the same length as the model's on this video.

brigette hinton: LOVED your energy for this whole video and that you brought the advice back. Can you do some styling tips for bobs?!

Jade Lyons: I used to love my hot rollers, I got a set for Christmas when I was 16 (I'm 28 now) they were great for me at the time because I wasn't very good with a curling wand. I still have them, they haven't been used in years though so I hope they still work because I'm defo digging them back out now

Jennifer Southee: So ironic, I bought these same rollers last month (my first set at that) and love them! I've never had much luck with a curling iron and feel like I've finally found something that works for me. My method was completely different though, so I'm excited to try this!!!

Sara Stevens: Honestly I love your positive affirmations every video cuz I need that some days ❤️

Aisha: I’ve used hot rollers for the past 15 years. Every time people ask how I curl my hair and have so much volume, they are shocked when I respond with “hot rollers.” They’re great. You can your makeup while your hair sets and get out the door in 30 mins. LOVE.
