Mixing All My Curly Hair Products Together

Hey guys it's all set here, I just woke up and I had an idea. That is why I look kind of crazy right now and this video might be kind of stupid might be kind of fun just kind of like I don't know so I want to do it. I'M excited, I have recently just discovered staff and simply no logical videos of the mixing things together and I have just been obsessed like I've, been watching their videos of the mixing, nail, polishes and mixing foundations, and then it came to me: has anyone mixed their hair Products over the years I have collected a bunch of curly hair products. Youtubers get sent these for free. I just pick it up because I want to test it out, and sometimes it's amazing. Sometimes it's not sometimes I keep it. Sometimes I get rid of it, but I have a bunch of curly hair products that I use and don't use, and I thought what would happen if I mix them all together, so I've decided to make a video of mixing all my curly hair products together. I'M gon na take a shower really quick and I'm gon na just get a little decent, but this is the before. Basically, let me show you what my hair looks like before, like I haven't washed my hair and probably a week which isn't which isn't like crazy, but it's pretty it's pretty normal for people with curls to not wash their hair all the time. So this is my hair being up, I'm gon na wash my hair, I'm going to condition my. I can't take myself seriously every time I wear my hair like this. My sister calls me bozo, so I'm gon na just wash my hair and condition it do everything normal like I'm, going to do a wash and go and I'm gon na get products and we're gon na start styling and mixing. Let'S go. These are the two products that I'm going to be using my diva curl, no poo and my one condition decadence. These are the products and I always use so they still give it a fair sort of test. Okay, so I'm back, I took a shower. I'M looking a little bit more put together. Now it is time to do this challenge. My hair is already starting to dry up, so I'm gon na have to wet it a little bit more, and I also need to detangle it a little bit more. I have two drawers full of products and it's just basically a bunch of stuff shampoos conditioners everything. So I'm gon na go through those boxes and I'm gon na see which ones are going to make the cut. So I can't breathe. This is so heavy. Well, I don't realize if this is heavy okay pot, except I'm out of breath. Okay Lisette got ta, get back in the gym. Ooh this holiday break. Okay, the products that make the cut are styling products, so no shampoos, no conditioners and no leave-in conditioners only things that will style my curls, so creams gels, souffles smoothies. All of that styling products are the only things I'm going to be focusing on. Don'T reach me into this big old container. The first thing that I see in here is this dippity-do girls with curls. It is a gel and it looks like this. It doesn't have a lot of hold, but it does keep your curls for is free and it helps you keep them soft. I found this spoon and it's just like an old spoon, and I have this like Tupperware thing and I'm just going to apply about half of this spoon into here. I don't want to apply too much product just in case, because I don't want to waste product. I mean the kind of wasting product, no matter how you go about this product is gon na, be wasted. I'M sorry! If you're offended about these products, I do giveaways all the time I donate products. All the time I get product to my family give it to strangers all the time. Basically, what I've decided to do is just use about half of this spoon to be able to apply a decent amount of product in there, but I don't want to apply too little or too much because I don't want this whole thing to be filled to the Top, like that's just crazy and stupid, so taking the first product and I'm going to apply about this much and put it into the container like that, I'm so sad! Next in my big old bag, we have a shampoo. So this is not going to be included. We have a co-wash which will not be included. This is a mask. Ok, let's get to the hair products will set. This is my favorite all-time gel and it's the diva curl ultra defining gel. It has a strong hold, but it doesn't make your hair crispy or crunchy, and it's just perfect for my hair type. So far, it's looking like this, nothing too crazy. Next, we have a curly gel souffle. This is from shea moisture. This is a product that I didn't really like. I never really figured out how to use it properly and I just kind of gave up on it because it made my hair really sticky and I think I applied too much product. So hopefully this doesn't make my hair really sticky and gross, but we'll see, maybe the combination of products mixed together will not really affect it. It'S so hard that I literally have to. This is literally a solid piece, I'm off it's because it's cold outside right now, but this is just it's just a chunk. Oh okay! Next we have a product from bumble and bumble, and this is their curl defining cream. I love this product for those days where you want your curls to just have a light hole. This is another product from bumble, bumble that I really really like and it's their anti humidity gel oil. It makes your hair so defined, but this one also kind of looks like snot like the Shea Moisture one that one has a really nice smell to it. It smells like kind of perfume me so makes your hair just smell, like it smells so good when it blows in the wind. Okay, I have to curl enhancing smoothie the first one is from as I am, and this one is just their curl enhancing smoothie. It smells incredible pomegranate and passionfruit. Those are two of my favorite smells and it's together in one one little jar. I love it. I'M gon na wipe off this spoon. I'M gon na take a good chunk of this and mix them together. Looking at it right now, I don't really know what color it would be. You'D probably be like a pinkish. I don't think curl products are very colorful now that I think about it. There'S not like a bright orange or green product, they're, really just beige. Why? Maybe a little bit pink, maybe a little bit yellow, but I don't think that there's anything bright with these colors, so I don't think that it's gon na be like a crazy color. When we finish, it might just be like a lightish, pink color, and this is my second curl enhancing smoothie. This is the one that you probably have heard of, and this is the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie, and this is my last styling product in this container. I also have another container, but this is my last styling product than this one, and this is from we Dodd and it is their advanced climate control, heat and humidity gel and this one's like halfway empty. Surprisingly, with all the smells, it still smells very good. Nothing'S, really mixed right now, they're all just separate little pieces. Okay, so let me get the second box of products. Okay, this kind of counts like a curl boosting spray. So I think that this is still in the category of styling and what I'm gon na do is just give my mixture good. Let'S give it a good 10 sprays. This is jelly soft curls from Miss Jessie's. This is a product from form which I've never tried before, and I've only recently heard about this brand. This will be exciting to see what this one's like, because I've never even like opened this bottle at all. Weis is so hard jeez. This one smells literally like a baby wipe this one is a style and shine foaming mousse from cream of nature with argan oil. Okay, let's do maybe two cuz I feel like mousse is a lot more thing here. I have the coconut curling cream from Cantu. I'Ve used this once and I just thought it was kind of thick. Maybe I wasn't using it right. I think when I first used it um, like maybe a year or two ago, I think I just put too much in my hair. Maybe that was the problem. Y'All would probably like your hair loose yeah. I know it is. My hair is dried out because there's no product - and it just might actually be the last product. Now that I'm looking through here, we have the dippity-do girls with curls. This is a curl defining cream and this one is almost empty, so hopefully there's enough, so these are all my styling products. This is what it looks like and now it's time for me to mix them up. Do you think that it's gon na be thick? Do you think that it's gon na be runny? What sort of consistency do you think that it's gon na be looks like a cream? It has a little bit of pink to it. Definitely, as you can see, it looks more creamy than it does. Look like a Jo on to the fun part which is styling, and my hair is looking very, very, very dry right now. So let's fix that, let's just add some life back into this hair. I didn't realize it was going to make my hair dry up. Maybe my hair just dries really quick when there's no product in it, I'm also going to use a leave-in cream, because I use a leave-in cream every single time. I do my hair, so why would this be different? So this is the one that I've been using. The kinky curly knot today and I'm just going to apply enough so that it'll moisturize my hair, but not too much that it's like overpowering. You know I'm just gon na put this through my hair, I'm also using my Denman brush to get rid of the tangles cuz. It'S not gon na be cute if we're trying to style our hair and we have tables. I want to make all these. What is that term that we learned in science class variables? I think so I mixed together a total of 11 styling products. I thought that I would have had more. Maybe it's just because I stick to the same kind of thing and I don't really deviate too much from it and I feel like just in general. I have more leave, ends and more shampoos and conditioners. Then I do styling products, I don't know so, I'm reaching in uhm stripping on me. It basically feels like a really moisturizing conditioner. So, let's just let's just put it in I'm guessing that my hair is actually gon na turn out nice. I don't think that it's gon na turn out crazy. I don't think that it's gon na be stiff. I think that it's actually gon na turn out pretty good people mix products all the time, but do they mix this mini? No, who would mix 11 products on the daily, but that doesn't mean that just cuz, it's a curly hair product means that it's going to make my hair look nice. I think that it might. I don't know so, the more that I break it through my hair. The more struggle I'm having putting it through my curls, so it's kind of like at first. It was really easy to put through my hair, but it's almost like it's drying or getting thicker, and my hair is getting really tangling up like I shouldn't have to be doing that. It looks like there's definition through here at the top, but then at the bottom. It looks like it's starting. The curls are starting to separate. So this is what my hair looks like right now, when it's wet we'll have to see what it looks like when it's dry. So I'm going to diffuse my hair, which I normally do, is I'm going to come right back with my hair diffuse and we're gon na see what it looks like okay? So I'm back and I haven't fluffed up my hair, so don't judge it first. I have to fluff it out, but um, let's just fluff it first, let's just love it. I also haven't done my edges hold on hold on hold on guys. I think we can fix it. Let me do my edges and try to see basically okay. So this is my hair looks like I'm trying to figure out why this is just so flat. It feels very like stiff, like my hair, feels light, but it's just very greasy. It'S like a greasy feeling. Also certain sections are more way down than others. For example, this I keep trying to like fluff it, but for whatever reason it's not really wanting to fluff and, like I didn't think I needed a haircut, but this is making me feel like I cut my hair by myself in the dark. It lays more like this. It lays more like carving, but for whatever reason, it's kind of it's creating these holes in my hair, which just makes it look like I've, just taken scissors and gone like chopped and just chopped a chunk out, I don't apply a lot of product. I applied the normal amount product that I would normally use in my hair, and this is what happened. So what do you guys think you guys think this was a fail, or do you think that this was a success? Would I go outside like this? Definitely not it looks like I just got a really bad haircut or it looks like my hair is super damaged. The curls look pretty good like on this side, they're looking pretty good, but it's just the feeling of it. It doesn't feel right, maybe pull on it. Could I get the shape a little better? Just like okay, I don't know something's wrong. Something is wrong. This product has X amount of ingredients because other ingredients sometimes don't work, and I think that with hair products, I think that if you mix certain products, they just don't really work well, and it just creates a weird effect on your hair and that's why? I think that's what happened here. I think that this will be cute in a ponytail like a little puff, but it's still like, if you guys, could feel my hair. It just kind of feels a little funky. It'S a big puff. Isn'T it it's big? It'S not! Normally this big, I feel, like even my puff, looks weird actually look at my puffs anyways.
